Great food! Very nice staff. Everything's great!

Recently, on the occasion of my birthday, I attended the Sunday breakfast buffet with 21 people. In the preliminary conversation I was told the price was €24.90 per person, which I accepted and associated with corresponding expectations regarding the selection and quality of the buffet. Unfortunately, the price had no relation to the food on offer: little selection, cheese and sausage of mediocre quality, and the eggs offered on the counter were already cold. Neither fruit nor yogurt were on offer. I was particularly annoyed when I discovered that the "normal" price for the breakfast buffet was listed on the menu as €17.50 - no one had pointed out the hefty surcharge of €7.00 per person during the preliminary conversation. When I asked, this surcharge was justified by the "higher personnel costs" due to the different time I requested from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. ("normal" breakfast time 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.). A flimsy justification, because it was exclusively self-service, and even the birthday table wasn't set. I call this a rip-off or a very bad price-performance ratio - once and never again! Serious business conduct is different!

A beautiful inn with old German tradition! Counter and beautiful old furniture. Something like that has become very rare these days. In summer you can sit outside well. The salad, the schnitzel and the champion sauce were very tasty. The fried potatoes were a little too salty, but still ok. The drinks came relatively quickly. Draft beer was of course a pleasure 😉 By Northeimer standards, the inn was well attended on a Thursday. On my next visit I'll try the steak first 😉

Delivered completely wrong. Even the cat thought the meat was bad. He is sad now.

Nice staff, the food is also great and in my opinion the shop is one of the last good ones in Northeim.
