The food and service is great. I don't find the room very comfortable.

Very nice thing. We have had lunch here about 8 times now and it is a party every time. This time, for the first time, the three of us sat in the adjacent building. While in the regular section there can sometimes be some hustle and bustle due to the passage, as well as the bar and kitchen, this section is all tranquil, partly due to the color scheme and lighting. Even when it's completely full. The gentleman serving is very friendly and efficient, he should be able to work directly in our catering company. The other people in the service are also wonderfully hospitable. What comes out of the kitchen is always excellent and the portions are generous. We would love to come here again.

Very attentive service with creative ideas. The food was good. Some chanterelles were missing from my wife's meal. You sit very closely and unfortunately you can hear the conversations at the next table.

Yesterday, Thursday October 24th. I had dinner with my girlfriend at your place. It tasted really, really good. It is a culinary delight to eat with Eich. Thanks for that. Based on the description on your menu, I couldn't really imagine the taste of the dish, but it was very good. Atmosphere good, background noise quiet good for any conversation. Recommended and definitely try it out.

I deducted points for the ambience because the noise level is extremely high. For me that was difficult to endure. The rest of the ambience of the restaurant is very nice. Maybe something could be done to soundproof so that you can relax a bit while eating, which was excellent as always.

Lunch delicious as always. Only the service took a little longer this time than usual. Still very nice service. It wasn't the first and definitely not the last visit 😊

The food was very good, but the portion (despite the request and desire for a small portion) was far too large - the plate was overflowing with pasta.

Very cozy atmosphere, great clear menu, extremely delicious food, very committed and really nice service. Price-performance okay. The only drawback that I would have liked to have known beforehand, since I was on a business trip and only had a limited choice of wardrobe: the ventilation in the guest rooms is really bad. After the visit, the clothes smelled unpleasant and persistently like food. Here it would be worth investing in the ventilation system. And at 9:45 p.m. we were the last guests and it felt right to leave, otherwise we would have liked to stay a moment longer.

We recently had the pleasure of spending a very nice evening in the Little Castle. We thoroughly enjoyed the 4-course menu, which was offered with both a wine accompaniment and a non-alcoholic beverage accompaniment. Both options were well matched to the dishes and provided a pleasant accompaniment to the meal. A special highlight for us was the gazpacha, but we were also pleasantly surprised by the seafood intermediate dish and the various components, especially the pickled onion and the pulp. The combination of flavors was harmonious and well thought out. The service was also very pleasant. Our waiter Erkan looked after us with great friendliness and an attentive feeling for our wishes. Both the wines and the dishes were explained to us charmingly and with background knowledge, which further enriched the evening. Overall, we had a very nice evening in the Kleine Burg and can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

As a regular guest, I have never been disappointed. The presentation and variety of side dishes always surprises. Excellent food and super motivated service, skilfully managed by Lina. The Little Castle is my #1.

Friendly little restaurant, with a modern but always measured kitchen. You can eat well here for a moderate amount of money and the house wine is always correct. It is my regular address for lunch in Oldenburg.

Food is good, service is good too but the ambience is not good at all, tables are too narrow, no privacy and lighting is rather functional, eating and getting out is actually not our thing given the prices but unfortunately necessary due to the circumstances shown. We won't come back.

Wir waren das erste Mal in der Kleinen Burg, da wir einen Gutschein zur Hochzeit bekommen haben. Wir haben jeder 3 verschiedene Gänge aus der Speisekarte gewählt und es hat uns außerordentlich gut gefallen. Das Essen war wirklich top. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We had a wonderful evening. The atmosphere is very tastefully decorated and cozy. The service employee was very courteous and competent. Not intrusive and remarkably friendly. We chose the lamb dish. Our food exceeded our expectations and was of very good quality. Prepared with a special sophistication and worth the high price. It would be desirable to receive a small greeting from the kitchen as an entree, even if it was just some bread with a dip. We felt very comfortable and will certainly come back

Really nice reception at the door, a very attractive and accessible menu with a good selection for meat lovers but also vegetarians. Fast table service, a professional but warm and friendly staff. The starters and main courses were all fresh, some perfectly hot, and served at the same time, the glasses were always refilled before they could be empty. The waiting time was very short and reasonable. With 7 people with different main courses, there wasn't anyone who wasn't completely enthusiastic about their dish. The recommendation for meat lovers at this point was the saddle of Feersisch beef, although it was the most expensive dish but worth every euro as it was the best meat I've ever tasted have eaten! The music was very quiet and despite the full dining room we were able to have a good conversation at the table. At the end, the service let the evening end for us in a pleasantly discreet manner. The experience absolutely justifies the price, we had no doubt about that after our visit there. We went home very full and happy.

The Kleine Burg is and remains the best restaurant in Oldenburg. Not forced, very attentive and friendly service and of course outstanding food. We have now gone through a lot of restaurants in Oldenburg, but no one can come close here. Also worth highlighting is the really good wine accompaniment. We'll be back (and we're already looking forward to it)

Wir haben hier einen sehr schönen Sommerabend mit Freunden verbracht. Die Küche ist kreativ und sehr phantasievoll. Das Lamm, die vegetarischen sardischen Nudeln und die Avocado mit karamellisierten Ziegenkäse waren hervorragend und sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Das Weinangebot ist gut und der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Very good food and great service - really something special. We had a person with celiac disease with us, but great care was taken and she was able to order without any problems. She didn't have any problems afterwards, which unfortunately isn't the norm. We felt very comfortable and had a really nice evening.

We had the 3 course menu with wine accompaniment. Everything was perfect and we will definitely come back.

Very very good food! We were thrilled. We deducted one star because the experience surrounding it does not correspond to the price range. No greeting from the kitchen / bread with butter etc. (you should order it for 15 euros!). We had reserved a baby chair, which was not set up when we arrived. Paper napkins, strange paper place mats, rocking table. Ambiance/furniture very very worn and partly shabby. You can get a lot more out of it! All in all, we expect a higher quality experience for this price range.

A restaurant visit of a special kind. Extraordinary ambience, a meal at star level without star prices, an exquisite selection of wines without exquisite prices (between €29 - €39) from selected winemakers. The food (we had tuna fried to perfection) and lamb. A Pinot Gris from the Palatinate, Kallstadt, Nile, for celebratory drinking. Our waitress: a nice young man with a friendly demeanor and an understanding of his job! The four of us felt very comfortable.

The Wiener Schnitzel we ordered was a delicacy along with the cranberries and truffle fries! On the other hand, the dessert "Valrhona Ivoire chocolate with cherry-bergamot iced tea, pickled citrus fruits, Mint yoghurt cream, raspberry sorbet Kletskoppen (Dutch almond biscuit)". It looked a bit like a "soup" with various ingredients, the chocolate consisted of wafer-thin flakes and was by no means the defining part of this arrangement. I expected a lot more chocolate. It's a shame for the price. The staff was very nice and extremely accommodating, five stars! We were allowed to sit outside on a warm summer evening, even though I hadn't specifically ordered an outside table. Given the beautiful weather, the staff “thought of it”, thank you very much for that! (However, the occasional car traffic on this narrow street was a bit annoying. But that cannot be blamed on the restaurant). Conclusion: All in all, a successful evening with excellent, high-quality food, although I found the creation of the dessert to be a bit unfortunate. Definitely recommended!

We had the pasta, which we enjoyed. As we noticed on a previous visit, we (my wife and I) think the prices are too high (e.g. halibut 41.00 euros). We like to eat well and can therefore compare with other quality restaurants (Rossini, Sasso, Zocalo) in Oldenburg or Bremen (Riva). The prices for main courses there are around 10 euros lower, but the food is by no means worse. Overall, we do not see the price-performance ratio as balanced.

Vanaf Schloss Oldenburg loop je noordwaarts de Broadway van Oldenburg binnen. Gezellige winkelstraatjes kruisen in elke richting. Je passeert daarbij veel terrasjes en een uitnodigend ogende plek doet ons besluiten te gaan zitten voor de lunch. We zitten op straat. De kaart is kort maar heeft verleidelijke gerechten. Deze zijn uitstekend, Oldenburger porties zijn niet mis. Wat overblijft, wordt ongevraagd netjes verpakt en meegegeven. Leerpuntje: Het had een beetje geregend, nadat we opstonden, merkten we dat aan een natte broek! De kussentjes waren even niet droog opgeborgen geweest.

It's totally worth having lunch there. With one small downside, the coffee isn't as good as the food.

My choice fell on the schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel was excellent, well breaded, tender and so generously portioned for a restaurant of this quality that I couldn't eat any more dessert. The truffle mayo for the fries was absolutely delicious and my personal top moment of the evening. Guys, it's definitely worth a visit!

It is always a very pleasant experience to eat at the Kleine Burg. The dishes are imaginatively and lovingly prepared. The employees are very friendly. You feel comfortable and are always satisfied.

For many years it has been my top address if you want something good to eat in Oldenburg.

Great food, very nice and attentive service. Everything tippy-toppi. Had the duck, but with fries. The duck was very good and the fries were a hit. We recommend! My companion had the fish and was very satisfied. Overall, a nice dinner. It should be so. 👍 A tip for the restaurateur: an affordable Prosecco or Franciacorta on the menu would be great.

Excellent food, very good value for money. Plus the friendly service! We were completely satisfied.

We were warmly welcomed and served quickly. The food was really good, even though I didn't know half of the descriptions on the menu. The only negative point was that smoking is allowed outside, which didn't suit me and my wife, but that might also be a plus point for smokers. The prices are fair, although on the higher end for Oldenburg.

Good day, As always, we are very, very enthusiastic about the food, but the shop and especially the toilet facilities need to be clean and well maintained for this price range of food.
