Been coming here for at least 15 years, even before they moved. Their absolute strength is the fact that the food is always the same. Same menu, same quality, same taste. I love that! Come there several times a year and love it!

First of all, hello! I was just in Uwe's Grill Restaurant in Papenburg. I give full marks because there really wasn't anything wrong with it. Friendliness 5 stars, food 5 stars, fast service 5 stars, the ambience, of course also 5 stars, and best of all, since I have to sit in a wheelchair, I was assigned a table straight away (without having a reservation). has not narrowed down. I would like to congratulate the whole team from the bottom of my heart. THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Food was delicious and quickly on the table, the service was nice and quick, with a lot of overview and well organized. The ambience is unusual for a restaurant for my taste and therefore takes a little getting used to... but overall TOP!!!

Had a wonderful meal with them all

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation and got a table with a short wait, even though the place was very busy. The portions are generous and taste very tasty! What really bothered me personally and why I ultimately only want to give it 2 stars was because of the short-haired, older waitress. I haven't experienced such an unfriendly person in a long time! With all the play equipment in front of the house, I thought that you could definitely have a good meal there with children and that the restaurant was child-friendly, but apparently I was wrong! My daughter ordered the drinks herself and then said 2-3 times what she would like, but was ignored by the waitress! When the drinks came, the waitress asked what we would like to order. I placed the order and my daughter asked where the toilet was. The waitress told her to keep her mouth shut when adults were talking. My daughter's behavior is terrible! Please? We should have left because it wasn't getting any better! While we were waiting for the food, my child rolled a small ball back and forth between his hands and the waitress looked at her reproachfully again! When we finished eating, I asked if we could pack up the rest before it was thrown away. The waitress then said condescendingly “if you like sticky fries”. Whether I'm into it or not doesn't have to be your problem, after all I paid for the meal! When we wanted to pay, I wanted to go to the car with the children, which was a bit difficult due to the narrow aisle at the cash register and the staff bustling around with a blind child in hand and a smaller child. The waitress pushed my daughter from behind shouted that we should make room... Food top - staff flop! ___________ We ate here again a while ago. Our order was taken quickly, but then we had to wait almost 1.5-2 hours for our food because they took too many orders outside the house and the kitchen was completely overwhelmed and the in-house orders were then paused. The boss yelled at his employees in the kitchen! If we had been informed in the meantime that the meal was taking so long and given us the choice to leave, we would have left. But just making us sit there and wait and being rude when asked when the food is coming is simply not possible!!! There was no apology or accommodation with another free drink or free ice cream for the children after the long waiting time. Definitely a wide berth is given here!

Great food. Price-performance ratio was top!!

The last time I was at Uwe's Grill was about 15 years ago. Back then it was still really a snack bar. Unfortunately, this “charm” has completely disappeared with the new building. But times change, even if it's a shame. The interior today looks more like a canteen, but is still very pleasantly furnished. The waitresses were all really very nice. The food came quickly, was very tasty and the price was absolutely right.

We went there to eat for the first time on June 30th, 2024. Our food was 💯 percent delicious. Super nice service, everything was very clean. All the seats were occupied and yet we didn't have to wait long. We'll be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, the service staff tried very hard to constantly overlook us despite the very low utilization. You couldn't get another drink at all, let alone that after more than 15 minutes no one cleared the table and asked for dessert.

Was quite busy on Saturday afternoon/evening. Many Dutch people. Reservations are recommended due to the crowds. The food is really tasty and a lot of it. Definitely worth a nice meal.

Were there for the first time. Despite the good occupancy, we got a table for two without a reservation. Very fast and friendly staff. Food was good and plentiful (schnitzel) but could have been a little hotter. Otherwise, we'd be happy to come back when we're there.

The food is really good, the waiting times are short and the prices are reasonable. Well, the service from an employee (best regards to the service person with the short hair and glasses who often looks after the reception) often spoils our stay with her dismissive, unfriendly demeanor. Recently, as unwanted listeners, we were extremely embarrassed when a family from the Netherlands at the next table was reprimanded for their language skills, which were apparently not sufficient for this service person... After all, the rest of the group is nice and professional and has obviously made a conscious effort! decided on the service area and lives it.

Delicious food, great service! We passed by by chance when we were on the way back from the North Sea to Münsterland. The stop was worth it, always happy again... 😃

We stayed there overnight in the motorhome and ate very well. A very good kitchen, the staff is also very friendly and nice. A must eat here. Also for our motorhome friends, you can park easily here and spend the night after the delicious meal.

Good quality and plenty on the plate...only the lady who assigned us a table...well, the place was quite empty due to the time of day and we would have liked to sit on a bench...statement...they are only for Larger groups...and there were only two of us...I found it unfriendly...but the food was very good...and you can work on being friendly...The young lady who served us was very nice. ..

Delicious food, portions huge, service ok, the only problem was the temperature inside: much too hot. We will come again very soon and we will dress accordingly, just hoping that they will fix a little bit the temperature till then.

The food at Uwes Grill is always delicious and plentiful. The waiting time is never particularly long, everything is done very professionally. The service staff has always been very friendly and professional. Personally, I don't like the atmosphere/restaurant. It's more or less a big hall. Yes, they try to decorate it in a modern and attractive way, but it's not my cup of tea. I found the “old” restaurant directly in Aschendorf much more comfortable.

Food super tasty. We all enjoyed it. Regarding the service, two of the three waitresses were very nice but the other was grim and angry, it was full but we can't do anything about that. Great new restaurant but the service needs to be better. We always had to wave to order drinks. But it doesn't work that way.

Great restaurant with very tasty dishes

For me, Uwes Grill is a constant in the local gastronomy, which has maintained consistent quality for years and has not increased in price too much. The staff is always motivated and offers a first class service, thank you for that. I don't really like the atmosphere in the restaurant. The old location had more charm 🙂 The food is always excellent. Personally, I really like the schnitzels. With two schnitzels, fried potatoes and a salad, you'll be more than full in the end.

I was shocked at how empty it was. I was a little dissatisfied with the service; at first we had a waitress who didn't speak German at all. Then a colleague took over. I know we have a shortage of service staff, but anyone who works in service must at least be able to understand and speak something. I'll still come back, I always like it very much.

We ended up here through recommendations from people. But due to circumstances we were a little late, 15 minutes, and were spoken to about it like a small child by an older woman in a very unfriendly manner. When we were still shown to our table. We got an older Damen as a waitress, who was also very grumpy and curt. Within no time after ordering our food, our salads were ready and soon after, our food as well. I must say the food was hot especially the fries and tasted good. But what was most striking was how cool everything was, it just glistened towards you. And there was no atmosphere at all. It looked like a glorified McDonald's. Everything at speed to get as many people as possible. And on the other hand, it is also expensive. In any case, we won't be coming again.

Wir hatten uns unter Grill-Restaurant was anderes vorgestellt. Im Grunde ist es ein Schnitzel- Imbiss und das hatten wir schon besser und günstiger.

Hier geen haute cuisine en dus geen bloemetjes op je bord, maar wel diverse steaks, grill gerechten en natuurlijk prima snitzel in diverse varianten. Soep vooraf of een sorbet na. Uit eten gelukkig nog betaalbaar.

Das Cordon Bleu mit Pommes als Monatsangebot für 12,50 ist wirklich günstig. Große Portion, leider aber noch sehr lecker. Glänzend vom frittieren. Die Bratkartoffeln frisch aus der Convenienceabteilung. Nee, das will ich nicht! Die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich auch das Ambiente passt.

Immer wieder lecker. Nur zu empfehlen.

Großzügige Parkplätze, alles barrierefrei inkl Rolli WC. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr schöne Inneneinrichtung. Reichhaltige Speise und Getränkekarte. Sehr gute Portionen. Preisleistung stimmt! Das kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Immer wieder top!!

Lekker eten ,schone restaurant,kom er regelmatig.

Zeer goede schnitzels met patat en een bakje salade mèt dressing. Patat is in vers vet gebakken. Zeer snelle en beleefde bediening. Verwacht geen ontzettend gezellig en knus restaurant, maar zo is het denk ik ook niet bedoeld. De desserts vinden wij persoonlijk wat minder waardoor wij deze overslaan.

Leckeres und reichliches Essen ist eigentlich garantiert. Wem das zu wenig ist, der sollte zum Arzt gehen. Einfach von der B70 zu erreichen. Vom Industriegebiet nicht täuschen lassen.

Heerlijk en veel gegeten voor een super prijs! Het restaurant is gelegen in een industriegebied, en heeft daardoor het voordeel dat er voldoende parkeergelegenheid is. Het interieur is sfeervol ingericht. Zeker een aanrader voor eenieder die goedkoop en gezellig uit eten wil.
