Delicious food, the steak pan and burgers with fries were very tasty. Portions are plentiful. The salad for the starter was also delicious, fresh and plentiful. Unfortunately, individual ingredients for the burger could not be canceled. We'd love to come back.

We come to eat regularly. Everything is always great. Apart from that frustrated waitress with the short gray hair. The lady's behavior feels like it's getting worse from time to time. Comments like “I’m not in the mood for that now” are normal for her. Something like that is impossible!

Hello. Never experienced such poor quality food. Schnitzel without taste, not seasoned and bad hunter's sauce. Uwe's hamburger overpriced. Long live the snack bar at the top end or middle channel!!

What a great business! A fairly recently built building, on an industrial estate, does not sound like the menu for a good meal, but you couldn't be further wrong. You don't necessarily come here to enjoy a long meal (although you should), but you come with an empty stomach to fill it properly. And that worked great! Main courses from 10-18 euros, and all equally tasty. I had a delicious schnitzel (got 2) with cream sauce and chsmpignons, fried potatoes with salad, which turned out to be about the most expensive main course. Drinks, main course and desert for 4 people cost 85 euros. Very affordable, more than enough, very tasty and cozy, that is Uwe's Grill. Recommended!

The meat was overcooked. And the schnitzel looked like frozen goods. The cheese that was used for baking had no taste, as did the asparagus, which were simply sweet in the glass and then placed on the schnitzel. Fries and the sauce were good

Perfect if you want it to be quick and tasty. Here you get the best schnitzels in the entire area. Anytime again, we now even leave from Papenburg on our tour to East Frisia. Really highly recommended.

First of all, hello! I was just in Uwe's Grill Restaurant in Papenburg. I give full marks because there really wasn't anything wrong with it. Friendliness 5 stars, food 5 stars, fast service 5 stars, the ambience, of course also 5 stars, and best of all, since I have to sit in a wheelchair, I was assigned a table straight away (without having a reservation). has not narrowed down. I would like to congratulate the whole team from the bottom of my heart. THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Food was delicious and quickly on the table, the service was nice and quick, with a lot of overview and well organized. The ambience is unusual for a restaurant for my taste and therefore takes a little getting used to... but overall TOP!!!

Had a wonderful meal with them all

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation and got a table with a short wait, even though the place was very busy. The portions are generous and taste very tasty! What really bothered me personally and why I ultimately only want to give it 2 stars was because of the short-haired, older waitress. I haven't experienced such an unfriendly person in a long time! With all the play equipment in front of the house, I thought that you could definitely have a good meal there with children and that the restaurant was child-friendly, but apparently I was wrong! My daughter ordered the drinks herself and then said 2-3 times what she would like, but was ignored by the waitress! When the drinks came, the waitress asked what we would like to order. I placed the order and my daughter asked where the toilet was. The waitress told her to keep her mouth shut when adults were talking. My daughter's behavior is terrible! Please? We should have left because it wasn't getting any better! While we were waiting for the food, my child rolled a small ball back and forth between his hands and the waitress looked at her reproachfully again! When we finished eating, I asked if we could pack up the rest before it was thrown away. The waitress then said condescendingly “if you like sticky fries”. Whether I'm into it or not doesn't have to be your problem, after all I paid for the meal! When we wanted to pay, I wanted to go to the car with the children, which was a bit difficult due to the narrow aisle at the cash register and the staff bustling around with a blind child in hand and a smaller child. The waitress pushed my daughter from behind shouted that we should make room... Food top - staff flop! ___________ We ate here again a while ago. Our order was taken quickly, but then we had to wait almost 1.5-2 hours for our food because they took too many orders outside the house and the kitchen was completely overwhelmed and the in-house orders were then paused. The boss yelled at his employees in the kitchen! If we had been informed in the meantime that the meal was taking so long and given us the choice to leave, we would have left. But just making us sit there and wait and being rude when asked when the food is coming is simply not possible!!! There was no apology or accommodation with another free drink or free ice cream for the children after the long waiting time. Definitely a wide berth is given here!

Very tasty food, bit much on the salt on some dishes. But very good nonetheless.

The last time I was at Uwe's Grill was about 15 years ago. Back then it was still really a snack bar. Unfortunately, this “charm” has completely disappeared with the new building. But times change, even if it's a shame. The interior today looks more like a canteen, but is still very pleasantly furnished. The waitresses were all really very nice. The food came quickly, was very tasty and the price was absolutely right.

We went there to eat for the first time on June 30th, 2024. Our food was 💯 percent delicious. Super nice service, everything was very clean. All the seats were occupied and yet we didn't have to wait long. We'll be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, the service staff tried very hard to constantly overlook us despite the very low utilization. You couldn't get another drink at all, let alone that after more than 15 minutes no one cleared the table and asked for dessert.

Was quite busy on Saturday afternoon/evening. Many Dutch people. Reservations are recommended due to the crowds. The food is really tasty and a lot of it. Definitely worth a nice meal.

The food is really good, the waiting times are short and the prices are reasonable. Well, the service from an employee (best regards to the service person with the short hair and glasses who often looks after the reception) often spoils our stay with her dismissive, unfriendly demeanor. Recently, as unwanted listeners, we were extremely embarrassed when a family from the Netherlands at the next table was reprimanded for their language skills, which were apparently not sufficient for this service person... After all, the rest of the group is nice and professional and has obviously made a conscious effort! decided on the service area and lives it.

Good quality and plenty on the plate...only the lady who assigned us a table...well, the place was quite empty due to the time of day and we would have liked to sit on a bench...statement...they are only for Larger groups...and there were only two of us...I found it unfriendly...but the food was very good...and you can work on being friendly...The young lady who served us was very nice. ..

The food at Uwes Grill is always delicious and plentiful. The waiting time is never particularly long, everything is done very professionally. The service staff has always been very friendly and professional. Personally, I don't like the atmosphere/restaurant. It's more or less a big hall. Yes, they try to decorate it in a modern and attractive way, but it's not my cup of tea. I found the “old” restaurant directly in Aschendorf much more comfortable.

Food super tasty. We all enjoyed it. Regarding the service, two of the three waitresses were very nice but the other was grim and angry, it was full but we can't do anything about that. Great new restaurant but the service needs to be better. We always had to wave to order drinks. But it doesn't work that way.
