I highly recommend it. My husband and I had been meaning to go there for a long time, but we finally made it. I'm just wondering why it took so long. The generous portions are enough to fill you up, or you can take them home, as you might not finish them all. I especially recommend the Aschendorfer Platte with beans.

Uwe's schnitzel is simply the best – no doubt about it! Nice and big, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, just the way it should be. You can tell they still cook with heart and soul. The side dishes are excellent, the sauce delicious, and the portions more than generous. You leave full and happy – and already planning your next visit. In short: If you don't eat a schnitzel here, it's your own fault. 😄🥩

The atmosphere sounds hollow, empty, no atmosphere, no plants or anything like that. But the food is top-notch. We got two cuts with our order, which we obviously couldn't finish with fries or fried potatoes.

This grill needs no further recommendation given all the reviews, but here are my two cents. The food was plentiful and delicious, and it arrived surprisingly quickly, despite my request for chicken instead of pork and fried potatoes instead of fries. The prices are reasonable. There's ample parking. The staff is friendly. You can just walk in during the late afternoon on weekdays. Reservations are best made online during busier times. We didn't use the restroom. We didn't have dessert because we were full from the main course. And I suspect it can get quite noisy when the restaurant is full. The sound carries quite well.

We went to Uwe's Grill for the first time yesterday, and it was fantastic. The menu is very extensive, and everyone will find something they like. The schnitzel was superb – with fresh peppers and onions! TOP! The pork medallions were a bit tough – but the beans and chanterelles were excellent. Service was responsive and very friendly despite a minor hiccup. Highly recommended!

We ate there for the first time today. We adults ordered the Aschendorfer Grillplatte and Grill Steak plate. They were beautifully presented, but they didn't have a "grilled" flavor. The grilled flavor was definitely missing. The herb butter is also store-bought and not homemade, which I find a shame. My children's hamburgers were definitely a no-go. The burger patties seemed quite cheap. They simply had lots of curry ketchup from Hela. Then the Danish remoulade with lots of cucumber and store-bought fried onions on top. (You could make it yourself.) That's it. For those prices, I would have expected more. A delicious homemade sauce would have been nicer. That they don't offer children's plates either. My 3-year-old son doesn't eat as much as a 9-year-old boy. I have a different idea of ​​a grill restaurant. I don't understand the hype surrounding this restaurant.

This is a really nice place to have dinner. Do not let the location fool you! It’s located on the middle of an industrial estate, and it’s a modern building. Personal is friendly and you do not have to wait long get services. We both had a hamburger which was without a doubt the best burger we had in years. The restaurant it self is a modern and spotlessly clean. There’s a playground for the kids, and lots of parking space. We definitely come here again!

We've been eating there for years and are very satisfied. But today I was annoyed for the following reasons: I had stomach surgery and since then I'm not allowed to eat cucumbers and tomatoes because I can't digest them properly. I ordered a salad plate from Pia and asked her to leave out the cucumbers and tomatoes and put a bit more lettuce on it. She said that you could leave them out but not in exchange for salad. As a result, I should pay the same amount but get less. I find that strange. Leaving out the tomatoes and cucumbers but putting a bit more lettuce leaves on it doesn't work. Very strange. Maybe I just had the wrong conditions. I'll try again next time, not because I don't like the two things, but because I'm no longer allowed to eat them for health reasons.

The service was very unfriendly, the noise was like a train station, and the tables were placed so close together that the next person would soon be sitting on your lap. It used to be much better there, but now it's all about profit, with every little corner filled with a small table. Given the prices, you'd expect something better.

Truly delicious food. I had the steak pan with absolutely juicy steaks, crispy fried potatoes, fresh mushrooms, and a crisp salad. It was such a large portion that they packed more than half for me to take home. The server was cheerful and very friendly. We'd happily go back. Most of the meals were between €20 and €30, but there were also smaller snacks for significantly less, so I'd say there's something for every budget. We actually ate outside on the terrace, wasp-free.

Uwe's Grill in Papenburg is like a pit stop for the whole family – only much tastier. While the car sips energy from the charging station outside, we're served juicy burgers, crispy fries, and a friendly "Moin!" inside. The kids are happy, we're happy – and so is the battery. Bottom line: You'll not only be full when you leave here, but also in a good mood!

We've been here twice now. The first time we had currywurst and fries, we were very satisfied. The second time, unfortunately, it wasn't as good. The hamburger was okay, but it was a shame it was a frozen patty. The schnitzel with mushrooms was more like paprika sauce with canned mushrooms. Both were generally tasty, but we wouldn't order those dishes again.

Got a seat spontaneously and without a reservation. Friendly and competent staff. Food and drink were enough to fill you up, and the price/quality ratio was right. However, for me personally, the taste wasn't for me. Somewhat neutral in flavor. The mayonnaise is high in fat, but it lacks that certain something. My burger was large, but hard to explain.
