Die besten Restaurants mit Restaurant Essen in Wangerland

A very nice little fish restaurant. The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly, and even though we were there almost at closing time, we still got something to eat. We really enjoyed it.

Leider kann ich die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Vielleicht hat der Inhaber gewechselt? Ab 13:00 Uhr sollte es Kuchen geben. Ich war um 13:10 Uhr da und der junge Mann hat mir drei Sorten Kuchen genannt, von denen jeweils nur noch 2-3 Stücke vorhanden waren - also wurde an dem Tag definitiv nichts frisch gebacken. Die Kaffeemaschine war defekt. Die Waffeln waren vegan, das stand allerdings leider nicht in der Karte. Zitat: „sonst bestellt sie keiner.“ Statt sich um die Gäste zu kümmern, mussten interne Unstimmigkeiten geklärt werden. Das Café ist definitiv nicht weiter zu empfehlen!

The "Käpt'n Pupkes" in Mederns in Friesland is an excellent restaurant. On the way to the restaurant it is quite possible that you could drive past it. From the outside, the restaurant doesn't really appear to have a modern look and isn't really recognizable as one. But once you find the small parking space, in my opinion you enter one of the best restaurants in Friesland and the surrounding area. The house doesn't seem particularly modern from the inside either, but for me it's always about the food and less about the look. The staff in the form of the boss and her employees are extremely friendly and very attentive. The highlight is of course the food. Nothing is left to be desired here and there is enough choice of meat and fish. I've been there several times and my absolute favorite is the fish soup. I have never had a soup that tastes better anywhere and the amount of ingredients is also outstanding. For the main course I recommend the panfish, a selection of different fish from the pan. Another highlight are the schnapps stored in glass barrels. Here too a top selection with great quality. For me, a visit to “Pupkes” is an absolute must! Bon appetit

Ate Salad Pillo with chicken strips yesterday and today. Absolute top. Highly recommended in warm weather.

Very nice restaurant. The staff needs to improve a bit. Unfortunately, we had to wait an hour. They simply forgot about us. Otherwise, the food was very, very tasty. We were there at the beginning of May.

It's a shame that this lovely, quaint restaurant is closing soon. The fish platter is a highlight.

Quaint restaurant, the food was good, the portion unfortunately a bit small. We had schnitzel with croquettes, which could have been a few more. The service staff was discreetly friendly - a smile would have been nice :) The atmosphere is very quaint.

After my husband and I had dinner there with all of our friends in the summer of '23, and there were a few negative surprises (wrong food, my food was forgotten and then when everyone had already eaten, mine came and it was wrong!) I only went there again 24/25 on our New Year's Eve holiday for my husband's sake. We ordered and were allowed to get the salad at the salad bar. And what can I say?! It wasn't just a hair in my salad, but a whole clump of hair!!! Just disgusting! After we pointed this out to the staff, one waitress apologized and the other just came to the table, laughed and said where that came from and whether it had fallen from the sky??!! Sorry...bottom drawer! As compensation we got the second drink for free. We definitely won't go there again!

Had schnitzel with asparagus, price performance was TOP. If I could I would give this a 6 star.

The food was a disgrace; everything was so greasy that we were still feeling nauseous the next day. The sauce for the 8-degree fish platter was sweet and inedible, and the fish and fried potatoes were completely unseasoned. The "homemade" garlic dip with the bread tasted like salad dressing. Smart people don't order anything here! The prices are through the roof, and it's completely unjustified... We haven't had such a bad meal in a long time. It's a shame; it spoiled our day by the sea. The coffee was okay, the service very friendly, and the view beautiful, but that was about all the positive experiences we had at this place.

Leider war das essen für die Qualität viel zu teuer. Und man bekommt nicht das was man bestellt oder nur die hälfte. Kann das Restaurant nicht weiter empfehlen.
