A nice place where you can linger and eat well. Would gladly come again.

We stopped by in the afternoon for a quick coffee. It turned into coffee and cake, a wheat beer, and some wonderful conversation. That prompted us to return in the evening. It was a great decision, as the food was exceptionally good and plentiful. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was top-notch. Thank you, and we'll definitely be back on our next vacation.

We're always given a really warm welcome. The hot meals and ice cream are excellent, and a visit on vacation is always a must!

Unfortunately, the salad was wilted and consisted of dried-out rocula, a piece of tomato, a slice of cucumber, half a large onion, and a round of balsamic vinegar. The fried potatoes and chicken breast fillet were okay, and the schnitzel was okay too; the paprika sauce seemed to have come from a jar. The drinks were flat and packed with a bit too much ice. We've eaten here every holiday we've been on for the past eight years, but since last summer and during the fall break, we've unfortunately not been satisfied. What a shame!

We'll happily travel from Düsseldorf spontaneously for the garlic bread and spaghetti carbonara. We're already looking forward to the next time❤️

I ordered food over the phone and was told it would be ready in about 15-20 minutes. However, after 30 minutes, it still wasn't prepared, and at first, I was even accused of not having an order. Only after consulting the manager did it become clear that the order had simply been forgotten. While I was waiting, I ordered an Alster, which was subsequently charged at the regular rate. In my opinion, the charge could have been waived as a gesture of goodwill to compensate for the inconvenience. I find it unfortunate that I was not shown any consideration in this situation. However, I would like to emphasize that the food was very tasty – which at least somewhat mitigated my disappointment with the process.

As always, very good. Like every year, we enjoy coming back here on vacation.

A very inviting atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the service was wonderful, and the food (both pizza and pasta) was excellent. The children's portions were very generous. We would be happy to return on our next vacation and will recommend it to others.

Highly recommended! The pizza dough tastes exactly as it should, as do the other toppings. The chicken was grilled to perfection and beautifully juicy!

Always our first stop when we arrive in Hooksiel for our first vacation. Delicious pasta, great pizzas, and highly recommended meat and fish dishes. The ice cream is also fantastic, even compared to the actually unbeatable ice cream parlor directly across the street. The service is super friendly and always in a good mood.

We spontaneously stumbled in on a Friday evening and stayed because it was just so good! 😁😎 Beautiful "beer garden", super friendly service, and amazing & delicious pizzas that you'd want to order again 👍😉 (the veggie pizza was amazing). The final highlight: vegan ice cream! Friendly service, excellent advice, and the sea buckthorn ice cream? A straight A! We'll be back... whether by accident or on purpose 😍. Highly recommended 👍👍👍 (Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos; we were too busy feasting and enjoying ourselves)

We stopped here today for the third time in a week. The food is incredibly good. The service leaves nothing to be desired. Highly recommended.

If you want to treat yourself: I can highly recommend the cream puffs and iced chocolate! Under a shady awning. At the neighboring tables I could admire huge, delicious-looking ice cream sundaes. Despite the May Day heat and the rush of tourists, the service was very friendly and quick to serve. The inside of the restaurant also looks very nice, almost elegant. Highly recommended.

We just wanted a bite to eat and ordered tomato soup, pizza rolls, and fries. The food arrived quickly, and the service was initially very friendly. Unfortunately, the tomato soup was garnished with a dollop of whipped cream, which wasn't listed on the menu. Since we don't like throwing things away, we spooned them onto the saucer. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to get it all down. That's really not a good idea, because there are people with lactose intolerance, and there's a labeling requirement. The pizza rolls were partially burnt, but we scraped them off with a knife. The fries were good. When we were asked if everything was tasty, we very kindly pointed out the burnt rolls and the cream to the waiter. Nothing was said about the rolls. Regarding the dollop of cream, the answer was: decoration didn't need to be declared. That's it... We think it's a shame that this is being overlooked, so we're writing this review. Cream must be declared...

Cozy, friendly, delicious. We stopped here on January 2nd after a walk on the beach and had a delicious waffle with hot cherries and ice cream, tea, and cappuccino. My fruit tea included fresh berries and an orange slice – lovely touches. From the outside, we hadn't expected the interior to be so beautiful, delicious, and cozy. ☺️

We were there at noon on Boxing Day. We didn't have a reservation and brought our very large dog with us. It wasn't a problem; we got a nice window seat. The food (1 pizza, 1 spaghetti) was delicious and a very large portion. The service was friendly, and the value for money was good. We'd be happy to go again.

I haven't eaten such a fantastic pizza for a long time, and the tiramisu is also an absolute recommendation. The atmosphere there is very elegant and chic. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. What is also very commendable are the toilets, very clean and smelling good. This is how I imagine a perfect restaurant visit.

We ate here twice while on vacation. Pizza and pasta dishes were all delicious. Spaghetti ice cream is also great with delicious strawberry sauce.

Delicious ice cream, recommended

We ate there today and I think it was one of the best Italian restaurants we've eaten in so far. It was plentiful and incredibly tasty. The service...I assume the boss...was friendly and attentive. I hope we have the opportunity to eat there again sometime. It was a pleasure.

Clear recommendation! First of all, of course it's expensive in the season and in a holiday area... That's the case everywhere, even here when there's a trade fair, you think, hey, what happened to the prices. The four of us paid €108 for a meal with drinks and a dessert. Yes, it's a lot, but it's a vacation. If you don't want that, you'll unfortunately have to cook yourself. We like to go out to eat on holiday, you want to escape the daily grind at home with children and so you accept it. Above all, and this is the most important thing, if you like the ambience, the food and the service. We are vacationing in Hooksiel in the fall for the fourth year in a row and have eaten there at least once every year. It's very tasty and the service is super friendly. Don't feel like it's to make more money. I always believe that no matter how you call into the forest, it will echo back. So from our side, clear recommendation.

We were on There for dinner on Monday We had bruschetta which was very tasty, I only know it with ciabatta bread but these were with pizza bread and it was very tasty Then we had salami pizza and pizza bomba was also very good. The dough was a bit thin so I loved it The service was very nice and very friendly, the food and drinks came quickly I can only recommend it

We had just been in Hooksiel for 6 days and came across the Valero restaurant on the 2nd evening. We loved it so much that we spent the rest of the evening there. The food is really excellent. No matter whether pizza or pasta, every dish tastes delicious, is beautifully prepared and the portions are generous. The service is great. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience and am already looking forward to seeing you again!

Great food, good service, unfortunately very loud outside

We “just” ate ice cream here often and with pleasure. The flavors are unusual (lavender, walnut-fig, cucumber, pistachio blossom), of course there is also "normal" ice cream. We found it very tasty and enjoyed having fun with the young, nice ice cream seller. We only ate ice cream, so I can't say anything about the ambience, except that the outside lighting seemed shady and clean.

Fast service and the ice cream was delicious. Price was okay - we had a fruit cup (€10.50) and a spaghetti ice cream (€7.50). You can also stay here with your four-legged friends.

The ice cream was completely ok, but the waitresses could do a better job. A smile or a little snap would be great. The ambience inside is great. The pressure from opposite doesn't seem to be great enough yet. The outside area is ok - but there was a constant smell of cigarettes.

Top food, mediocre service. Boss doesn't play her role as friendly hostess very well (just dollar signs in her eyes). Ambience is like that. Nevertheless, a tip because of the good food.
