Ate Salad Pillo with chicken strips yesterday and today. Absolute top. Highly recommended in warm weather.

The mulled wine and the cream puffs are delicious. We'll be back.

I haven't eaten such a fantastic pizza for a long time, and the tiramisu is also an absolute recommendation. The atmosphere there is very elegant and chic. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. What is also very commendable are the toilets, very clean and smelling good. This is how I imagine a perfect restaurant visit.

We ate there today and I think it was one of the best Italian restaurants we've eaten in so far. It was plentiful and incredibly tasty. The service...I assume the boss...was friendly and attentive. I hope we have the opportunity to eat there again sometime. It was a pleasure.

Delicious ice cream, recommended

Clear recommendation! First of all, of course it's expensive in the season and in a holiday area... That's the case everywhere, even here when there's a trade fair, you think, hey, what happened to the prices. The four of us paid €108 for a meal with drinks and a dessert. Yes, it's a lot, but it's a vacation. If you don't want that, you'll unfortunately have to cook yourself. We like to go out to eat on holiday, you want to escape the daily grind at home with children and so you accept it. Above all, and this is the most important thing, if you like the ambience, the food and the service. We are vacationing in Hooksiel in the fall for the fourth year in a row and have eaten there at least once every year. It's very tasty and the service is super friendly. Don't feel like it's to make more money. I always believe that no matter how you call into the forest, it will echo back. So from our side, clear recommendation.

We were on There for dinner on Monday We had bruschetta which was very tasty, I only know it with ciabatta bread but these were with pizza bread and it was very tasty Then we had salami pizza and pizza bomba was also very good. We had just been in Hooksiel for 6 days and came across the Valero restaurant on the 2nd evening. We loved it so much that we spent the rest of the evening there. The food is really excellent. No matter whether pizza or pasta, every dish tastes delicious, is beautifully prepared and the portions are generous. The service is great. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience and am already looking forward to seeing you again!

Great food, good service, unfortunately very loud outside

We “just” ate ice cream here often and with pleasure. The flavors are unusual (lavender, walnut-fig, cucumber, pistachio blossom), of course there is also "normal" ice cream. We found it very tasty and enjoyed having fun with the young, nice ice cream seller. We only ate ice cream, so I can't say anything about the ambience, except that the outside lighting seemed shady and clean.

Fast service and the ice cream was delicious. Price was okay - we had a fruit cup (€10.50) and a spaghetti ice cream (€7.50). You can also stay here with your four-legged friends.

The ice cream was completely ok, but the waitresses could do a better job. A smile or a little snap would be great. The ambience inside is great. The pressure from opposite doesn't seem to be great enough yet. The outside area is ok - but there was a constant smell of cigarettes.

Five of us ate here last night without a reservation and still got a table quickly. Our food didn't take long to arrive either. It was very tasty except for some slightly over-salted noodles! The staff were very friendly. I would love to come here again!

Even though the store was empty, four ice creams arrived 15 minutes apart. Very poor service with a flimsy excuse. Taste average. Clearly not recommended!

I've eaten here 3 times now. It was always very tasty and the service was also good. Today, however, I was very disappointed. We wanted something vegetarian, but not pizza. The suggestion of adding some vegetables to a pasta dish sounded very good. It should cost "a small" extra charge. Actually no problem. But if €11.50 suddenly turns into €21.50 - because of a handful of vegetables mixed in - then that's certainly no longer a "small" surcharge. The waiter's reaction to my comment was simply a shrug of the shoulders. It's a shame, because I would actually like to recommend the restaurant to others. However, I don't feel particularly valued as a guest.

We were there yesterday and were thrilled. The staff is nice. The food (we had pizza) was delicious and we didn't have to wait long. The ice cream was also delicious.

Very good Italian restaurant. Excellent food. Here you can feel comfortable. On the last day of vacation I ate the “Valero Spezial” dish there. All I can say is simply brilliant. The price absolutely reasonable and correct.

Good food at an acceptable price-performance ratio. We had tuna pizza and spaghetti frutti di mare. Both great. Service and ambience are OK. Therefore a recommendation for a restaurant visit in Hooksiel.

We came to Hooksiel for the first time on Friday and were a bit hungry after the long day. Due to a question in a FB group about where you can eat very well in Hooksiel, Valero was of course also mentioned. We were there around 2:30 p.m. It was empty, the service was super friendly, and my wish of wanting the pizza frutti di mare to be spicy was more than fulfilled. Grazie, era super piccante, proprio come piace a me. My husband also had a pizza that I personally think was Diavolo little Diavolo. But both pizzas were as they should be, the dough was great, the toppings were good. Gladly again

Not good. Had lunch there this afternoon. Far too little antipasti for the money / as well as the variety. Pizza was ok. But the crowning glory, and this is not possible for a restaurant, is that you are served a Tk-shaped meat schnitzel. Mayonnaise and ketchup in sachets. Let's not even talk about the side salad. Typical tourist rip-off. Some snacks are better. I cannot recommend this Italian restaurant.

Whenever we are in Hooksiel, we come here. From now on we also drive here specifically to eat pizza here...that says it all. Totally warm operators, attentive staff... and the food is always great!! No matter whether it's ice cream or food... we have a very clear recommendation to our tourists :-) We look forward to next time :-)

We were just there with 4 adults, 3 children and a dog. The food was absolutely delicious. We had starters (GREAT!), schnitzel (SUPER) and pizza (INCREDIBLY GOOD!!!). So...I can't remember when I've ever had pizza this good. It was simply perfect! The others were absolutely thrilled too!! We were warmly welcomed and looked after. Attentive but not intrusive. Wishes were implemented without any surcharge. Price and performance are outstanding! An absolute recommendation!

War ein sehr entspannter Besuch.

Die Pizzas waren gut. Der Service freundlich und gut organisiert. Preis Wein: völlig überteuert, 7,40 € / 8,20 für 0,2 namenlosen Rotwein (Bardolino, Merlot) und 7,40 für Schorle !! Um kurz nach 21 Uhr kam der Gruß vom Service, Marsala, vielen Dank, verbunden mit dem Satz: ich räume schon mal die Gläser ab.... klarer Rausschmiss....

Pizza und Pasta sehr lecker. Service aufmerksam und freundlich. Ambiente angenehm. Wir kommen wieder.

Pizza war für den Preis nicht so toll

Das Restaurant ist in der Mitte in der Verkehrsberuhigten Zone von Hooksiel. Das Essen ist lecker und schmeckt. Das Personal ist locker , nett und nicht aufdringlich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auch.

Ein leckeres Abendessen zu fairen Preisen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und Nett, der Eisverkäufer ebenso. Es war sehr nett dort, sauber und gepflegt. Schön eingerichtet und die offensichtlich noch neuere Bedienung macht ihren Job sehr gut. Ich kann mich nicht beklagen.

Wir haben dort ein Eis gegessen. Etwas teurer aber sehr lecker. Die Dame im Service spricht italienisch. Man fühlt sich sehr gut aufgehoben. Schöne Terrasse und das Restaurant auch sehr schön auf dem Weg zum WC. Dort auch sehr sauber.

Eine bessere Cabonara habe ich noch nie gegessen! Wahnsinn. Sehr kinderfreundlich! Gehen auf alle Wünsche ein. Statt Penne Nudeln lieber Spagetti, kein Problem. Pizza Meeresfrüchte (oder wie man die nennt), war auch lecker. Guter Service der beiden Frauen! Einziges Manko, 0,33l Cola, 3,50€ und 5 Scheiben Industriekäse + Tomaten = 10€ (!!!!). Fazit, 1x Pizza, 1x Nudeln, 1x Kindernudeln + Trinken + 1x 2 Kugeln Eis und 1x 8€ Eis = 81€.
