Always friendly. Excellent food. Always happy to return. Truly exceptional for a restaurant on a campsite. The snack bar and shop also have everything a camper needs.

We had a very good and delicious meal here yesterday. The service and owners were very friendly. Prices were quite reasonable. We'll be back!

A truly cozy atmosphere; the owner bakes delicious cakes every day and is always cheerful and friendly. The staff take loving care of the guests. Your glass never stays empty, and the tables are cleared in no time. Dogs are always welcome.

We had fried fish with fried potatoes and a small salad. It was very tasty and agreed with us. The service was friendly and attentive. We will eat here more often.

You wait a very long time after ordering, so as a camper you should park right in front of it, then you can order the food in the evening and with luck it will be ready the next day 👌🏻 otherwise you have to sleep again..... Then it might be ready

5.50 for a fish sandwich, that's just not possible. Sorry.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant. The food is at the level of a takeaway restaurant; it's better to spend a little more and eat well. But it was worth a try.

At 8 p.m., you're no longer served anything, with the announcement "we've already cleared everything away." The restaurant is officially open until 9 p.m. Addendum: The flyer states opening hours until 8 p.m. It would, of course, make sense to correct that here as well.

Hi, we ate there twice and the food was delicious 😋. The waitress and manager were very friendly and attentive. The homemade cake is also worth a sin.

A quick note on the positive: the food was delicious. Now for the negative, which overshadowed the whole thing: the friendliness of the staff could really be improved. We spent a few days off at the campsite, went to the cabin's website to avoid waiting, looked up the phone number, called, and whoosh, the message said the number wasn't in service. The explanation was that we change the number every year. OK, but what's the point, and why a website then? The wait is OK if you use the idle time to shower.

Hi. We were guests at the RV park and had dinner there last night. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and excellent value for money. The service was attentive and very friendly. We're moving on today, otherwise we would definitely have gone back. Keep up the good work!

Had schnitzel with asparagus, price performance was TOP. If I could I would give this a 6 star.

Been here about 10 times today, 6 times it was good... 3 times it was so-so but today it was an absolute horror for the palate... the schnitzel was so dead fried that you can't describe it... it's me Noticed again today when Irene herself isn't there, something like this happens...sad but true...the service was top as always but the kitchen was completely overwhelmed...

It's just a campsite snack, no matter whether you order 'to go' or sit down in the guest rooms, a menu, a kitchen. Staff really nice, the boss..... as best he can... The typical, extensive range of snacks is really ok. Of course, you shouldn't expect gourmet food here. I don't know about the buffet that is sometimes available. The prices border on exorbitant (no, they just "border" on it) if you take food with you. It might work in the local area. But to take away you probably ask for the same as in the restaurant. And that's also the problem with the waiting time. Rarely have I had to wait as long as they did, even when only one guest ordered before me at the snack bar. The restaurant orders seem to be brought forward in principle (with identical prices - but people also drink there). If you're very hungry and have small children, you'd better open a can of ravioli. But it's enough for *** because I was always hungry, had time and didn't have small children.

We were here two evenings. The food was freshly prepared and tasted great. We had the fish platter for two people. The day before I had a fish sandwich. That was the best in years. The service was super friendly and accommodating. Thank you for the wonderful time with you and the hospitality.

For a campsite, very good food and the service was very good. The big thing for children is the big boat to play with.

Great food, good service, low prices. Easy setup with good performance. If you can and are not at the campsite, you should go there on foot or by bike. Otherwise, the car will probably cost extra.

Wir hatten hier unseren ersten Labskaus und der war hervorragende. Uns haben uns die vielen positiven Berichte über den Labskaus hergeführt und zwar zurecht. Das Lokal befindet sich auf dem Campingplatz von Hooksiel und ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und flott. Bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Hooksiel werden wir bestimmt hier wieder einkehren.

Das Essen in der Kajüte ist wie immer sehr lecker. Der Service ist top. Die Leute sind sehr nett und freundlich wir kommen wieder.

Top Qualität zum sehr günstigen Preis! Alles frisch, Fisch direkt aus dem Hafen, alles superlecker! Unbedingt den hausgemachten Labskaus bestellen, den es Freitags gibt. Oder die Kibbelinge, oder den Matjesteller. Total nettes und aufmerksames Personal, das auch hohem Ansturm gewachsen ist.

Sehr Sehr guter Labskaus, obwohl es nur Freitags Labskaus gibt, machte die Chefin eine Ausnahme und bereitete uns den Labskaus nach Anruf und Reservierung zu. Sehr zu empfehlen. Ich würde sagen ein echter Geheimtip. Das Lokal befindet sich innerhalb eines Campingplatz, es ist aber nur ein kurzer Weg von Parkplatz dahin. Vielen Dank an die Chefin es hat echt super geschmeckt,

Super Liebe Bedienung, und die Portionen waren ausreichend Sattmachend. Das Essen kam wirklich schnell und auch „Extrawünsche“ waren kein Problem. Und Hunde sind auch Willkommen! Wenn wir nochmal in der Gegend sind kommen wir wieder.

Essen war Gut. Service ganz leicht überfordert weil alle Tische belegt waren. Wir haben unser Essen vor dem Trinken bekommen, was sehr ungewöhnlich ist. Alles in allem für ein Restaurant auf dem Campingplatz war aber alles ok.

Heute Abend hat die Chefin in der Kajüte gekocht und uns ein wirklich leckeres Abendessen gezaubert. Wir können einen Besuch in der Kajüte nur empfehlen und werden selber immer wieder zum Essen dort hingehen.

Super Essen, man muss nur ein wenig Zeit mit Ringen. Die Mitarbeiter sind aber sehr freundlich und tuen was sie können!

Sehr nette Bedienung. Essen Trinken und ein Kleinigkeit einkaufen kann mann hier auch. Draußen sitzen und sich bedienen lassen, ist in der Sonne schon klasse.

Wer auf dem Campingplatz Hooksiel Urlaub macht, und will gut essen, braucht nicht weit zu laufen. Im Lokal Kajüte auf dem Campingplatz bekommt man sehr gute Norddeutsche Hausmannskost und wer will kann auch mit Chefin friesisch snakken.

Lecker Essen gestern Abend, sehr nettes Personal,super Lokal,gerne wieder

Bedienung wahr nett, Essen ging so. Burger wahr ok und die Kroketten auch, leider hat die Remoulade gefehlt die dazu bestellt wurde. Meine Frau hatte ein Schnitzel und Bratkartoffeln, die waren aber nich so pralle. Also wenn man viel Hunger hat, sollte man lieber woanders hingehen kleine Portionen. Werden das Lokal nich mehr aufsuchen.

Wir waren am 30.04.22 dort auf dem Campingplatz und haben dann auch dieses Lokal besucht. Sehr freundliche und fixe Bedienung. Getränke waren schnell auf dem Tisch. Das Schnitzel Balkan Art war gut, die Pommes sehr gut und dem Wunsch entsprechend kross zubereitet. Der vegetarische Burger war auch gut. Mayonnaise und Ketchup stehen auf dem Tisch. Wir können dieses Lokal empfehlen. Nur sollte man Camper sein, dann fühlt man sich dort wohl.

Schmackhaftes Essen für moderate Preise. Freundliche Bedienung.
