Nice location. She caught our attention straight away. We were there for a late dinner. The restaurant is not very big, only about 30 seats. Although there were other tables waiting, it seemed quite cool. The quality of the food was good, but given the price and the description, that certain something was somehow missing. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Every now and then there were minor communication problems.

I had the risotto balls which were super tasty. My partner had the fish and chips, which were fine. It was a little missing that certain something. The drinks were very tasty. The waiters seem a bit dry, but at second glance they are very nice and, above all, polite and attentive. The ambience impressed me most. The mix of modernity and old details such as the pictures and brass lamps is more than successful.

Good evening to the unfriendly waiter in Usedom. We had reserved a table for 4 people. This very unattractive table in the passage is one thing. When we expressed the desire to choose a better table for us, we responded with almost violent indignation: "No, the other table was EXACTLY assigned to later guests." Could that be true? This question was very naughty in the fine restaurant. How can you contradict a service person? As a businessman, a gentleman would have de-escalated. But a waiter complains afterwards. It's a good thing that the ladies in my company are happy to have found a nice restaurant at the end of the same street. We love Heringsdorf and are taking L&W out of the program. Thanks for the bad service

This evening we arrived at the Bernstein Restaurant full of expectations at 6:30 p.m. After a friendly welcome we were shown to the table. After 20 minutes the service noticed us and brought the menu cards. By the way, the restaurant was not full. After an hour the greetings came from the kitchen and after 75 minutes the first course. After I expressed my displeasure, the matter was accelerated somewhat, but that cannot meet the standards of a gourmet restaurant. There is still a lot of room for improvement in service. The food was very satisfying. But it's not conducive to a successful evening if you have to get upset right from the start.

It was a very nice evening in the restaurant. It wasn't too crowded and you weren't completely alone. The service was friendly and quick. We didn't have to wait long for anything. The meals were very good. Both in terms of composition and preparation. The menu is quite clear, which speaks for fresh and selected ingredients. The atmosphere is modern. Unfortunately, on an evening in autumn you don't get much of the otherwise breathtaking view through the glass front. It is kept very open, which seems cool in the dark. All in all, as I said, a nice stay. But it didn't invite us to sit for longer.

Essen gut, Personal megafreundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr kurze Wartezeiten. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier herkommen.

The atmosphere is ok and the service is friendly! But why I can't give it 5 stars: the waitress didn't write down our orders and had to ask several times what we had ordered, we sat for a long time without drinks, when I order a guinea fowl breast I don't want a leg on the plate and the waiting time between them The corridors were long. There were no non-alcoholic aperitifs. Too bad

Wir haben heute dort zu Abend gegessen. Am Nachmittag hatten wir versucht, einen Tisch zu reservieren, dies würden sie aber, wie uns vom Kellner vor Ort erklärt wurde, nicht machen, wir sollten abends einfach vorbei kommen. Das haben wir auch getan. Die Personen in der Schlange vor uns wurden als erstes gefragt, ob sie denn reserviert hätten. Hatten sie nicht, genauso wenig wie wir. Einen Tisch gab es dann aber trotzdem, der klebte allerdings total, wie auch die darauf platzierte Getränkekarte und der Salz- und Pfefferstreuer. Die Speisekarte gab es erst nach längerem Warten und nachdem wir danach gefragt hatten. Auch sie klebte. Bestellt haben wir dann 2 Bier, auch die Griffe der Biergläser klebten. Zum Essen haben wir Falafel mit Salat, Hummus und Pita-Brot und einen mediterranen Burger mit Pommes bestellt. Die Falafel wurden als Spezialiät des Hauses beworben. Geschmeckt haben beide Gerichte nicht. Der Burger und die Pommes waren versalzen, die Falafel völlig trocken und „geschmacksneutral“, genauso wie Hummus und die dazugehörige Sesamsauce. Der Salat war alt und z.T. schon gammelig. Auf unseren Hinweis, das es wirklich nicht schmecken würde und der Salat auch schon sehr alt sei, erfolgte keinerlei Reaktion. Für den verlangten Preis waren die Portionen nicht besonders groß, es ist also auch kein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gegeben. Für uns ist klar, dass wir dieses Restaurant nicht noch einmal aufsuchen werden. So schlecht haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen.

We had a very good meal at Epikur yesterday with friendly service. Unfortunately, the ambience of the restaurant does not correspond to the photos on the homepage and the good food. The wooden tables, which appear to be pieced together, are all covered with an imitation marble film, no tablecloths as shown on the homepage, just 2 sets and paper napkins. There are also conference chairs that are not too comfortable and are covered with gray covers. An atmosphere that is absolutely not suitable for the food. Too bad.

I bought two herring rolls today. A roll cost €4.50. The topping was a piece of herring and three onion rings. An absolute disgrace. The waitress behind the counter had no interest. We will never enter this “restaurant” again.
