Update 2023 The traditional restaurant "Zur Klause" no longer exists. Why it's still listed here and why corresponding changes aren't possible is beyond my knowledge. The building now houses the restaurant "Portofino." A glance at the menu gives you an idea of ​​the price level. A dessert starts at €8.50, a fish dish starts at €26.50. I can't be that hungry. A few years ago, you could have fed two people for that money. What a shame. Update 2018: The Klause is also getting a second chance, especially since it was a top-notch restaurant years ago. I liked the menu and the offerings better now. The visible staff consisted of one waitress and one server, which seemed very limited given the restaurant's capacity. However, the two were so quick that it hardly mattered. The food was plentiful and tasty—what more could you want? The lack of parking could be a sore point. The few available spaces are heavily charged (by the municipality). Introducing a parking bonus for drivers should be considered. Annoying: The restaurant offers Wi-Fi, but it doesn't work. After registering, I was supposed to receive a confirmation email with access, but it only arrived after three days. What's absolutely unacceptable: Setting up an email contact that doesn't respond. I pointed out this error there and haven't received a response yet. There's a lot of room for improvement! Summer 2017: The restaurant "Zur Klause" was extremely popular a few years ago and a real insider tip. Seating was only available after a long wait. We ate here several times on each vacation and were always very satisfied. A few years ago, the owner changed, which was noticeable in the ambiance. This season, we experienced new management again. There were hardly any staff, prices had risen significantly, and the quality of the food used to be better. The menu has apparently been significantly streamlined. We were very disappointed and will probably cross this place off our favorites list.

Unfortunately, it has now become an Italian....

The food wasn't particularly tasty!

It's off-season, and we made a dinner reservation for two people. An overwhelmed waitress had trouble, for example, with the drinks menu, explaining what was available. Then we got one meal after waiting over an hour. The second meal eventually arrived upon request. The food itself, however, didn't taste any better than a takeaway. The sauce was like it came from a tube, the fried potatoes were cheaply made... the cod was definitely from a large freezer bag... they won't see us again!

The wait for your food is an outrage. More than 1.5 hours and still no food. Other guests who hadn't made a reservation got their food half an hour earlier. On top of that, there were restrictions on drinks, no beers other than Pilsner. Only one chef and one server. All of this is unacceptable. I do not recommend this restaurant. The food came after 1.75 hours, the fish was okay, good is something else, the fried potatoes were mostly not fried, but a few of the slices were black. The side salad only came after a friendly reminder. The atmosphere is equally unpleasant. Lots of dogs that don't get along. Loud barking in the restaurant. As previously reported, also by other guests, not recommended.

Freundliches Team mit sehr netten Kellnern. Auch der Fisch ist hier besonders zu empfehlen!

Essen war gut und schön angerichtet

Essen gut ,Bedienung muss noch umsichtiger werden

Unser Eindruck ist etwas zwiespältig: Wir haben nämlich auf unser Essen knapp über eine Stunde gewartet. Und das war nicht nur an unserem Tisch so, sondern sämtliche Gäste waren betroffen. Wenn man ein Problem in der Küche hat, sollte man dies vielleicht offen kommunizieren. Als dann endlich das Essen kam, hat es uns dann etwas besänftigt. Es war wirklich sehr gut!!!

Bitte eine warme Decke und viel Zeit mitbringen. Wir mussten leider eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten und auch der Innenraum war kalt. Die Bedienung war nett und das Essen war auch in Ordnung. Aber für die gehobenen Preise für Speisen und Getränke kann man doch mehr erwarten.

Abendessen war top, Preis Leistung alles in Ordnung. Die schlechte Bewertung kommt durch das Frühstück, nie wieder 1 1/2 Stunden auf das Essen warten als ob der Koch nicht da wäre und dann kam nur die Hälfte.

Auf das Essen musste man sehr lange warten bis zu 2 Stunden. Essen war gut und reichlich.

Freundliches Personal, Essen gut, Preise wie überall mittlerweile, aber man hat Urlaub und dann ist es eh egal😄. Lage gut, fast am Stand👍

Beilagen bei unserer Bestellung vertauscht. Leider. Ansonst soweit okay.

Freundliche Bedienung. Essen eher unterer Durchschnitt. Sehr kleine Portionen. Mein Mann hatte Dorschfilet. Viele Gräten. Haut latschig angebraten. Viel zu wenig Bratkartoffeln, die unter der Fischportion versteckt waren. Ich hatte Schnitzel. Auch viel zu wenig Bratkartoffeln, die man unter dem normal großen Schnitzel kaum gesehen hat. Das Schnitzel war versalzen. Wenn die Bedienung nicht so freundlich grwesen wäre, wäre es nur 1 Stern geworden. Vielleicht hatte der Koch einen schlechten Tag.

Nette Bedienung. Doch leider habe ich kein alkoholfreies Radler nach 2x bestellen bekommen, sondern irgendein komisches Getränk. Das Essen war ok. Doch es wird die Beilage extra berechnet. PREIS /LEISTUNG zu weit auseinander. SCHADE.

Sehr schöner Ort zum Essen. Freundliches Personal, super hausgemachte Fischstäbchen für Kinder. Tolle Lage.

Ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Wartezeit auf das Essen und den Getränken war soweit okay. Die Fischgerichte waren soweit gut, bis auf die Bratkartoffeln welche etwas mehr hätten gebraten sein können. Ist aber halt Geschmacksache. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr nett und umsichtig.

Gutes lokal gutes Essen rasche und gute Bedienung falls ihr mal dort seid bestellt euch die Fischsülze ,wenn ihr Fisch magt ,mit drei verschiedenen Fischsorten kleines Rätsel D für? Z für? und R für? Lasst es euch schmecken

Kein Gaumenschmaus, eher lieblos auf den Teller geknallt, geschmacklich fade, Preis/Leistung nicht gerechtfertigt. Bedienung freundlich, Ambiente nicht berauschend.
