Service was okay. Unfortunately, the Finkenwerder plaice died twice. The bacon was as crispy as a pickled cucumber, and the fish was beyond dry. What a pity...

Super delicious dishes. A small but fine menu. Everything from fish to meat is included. We had the steak "au four," a schnitzel topped with mozzarella, and a fish platter for two. Everything was very well prepared. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's definitely worth eating here.

We were there for lunch a few days ago and it was delicious and the staff were super accommodating.

We were here two years ago, and we found the food much better... this time everything was very bland. It was okay... nothing more, unfortunately. But the seating is very nice, and there are plenty of comfortable beach chairs outside.

It depends on who you get at the service. We were there on August 31, 2025, and everyone was very courteous. The food is truly delicious and highly recommended. On September 1, we wanted to confirm our impressions, but unfortunately, there was a lady outside who walked past us several times, left us standing, and then told us there were no tables available, which wasn't a big deal, but we had already known that. A little more friendliness wouldn't have been difficult. In the future, we'll pay attention to who's serving and prefer to eat elsewhere on those days.

We had plaice, which was the best in Ahlbeck. We also had pasta with shrimp, which was also incredibly delicious. Of the six other restaurants, you were the best. When we're back in Ahlbeck, we'll get a weekly subscription. And the staff, too; here, too, you were the friendliest of all the other restaurants. Keep it up.

The food didn't impress us. It was OK and certainly not bad. However, we expected more for the price we paid. Much of the food was probably frozen. The food gets 3 points. The reception was a bit frosty at first… but this improved considerably once we were seated. Therefore, the service still gets 4 points. The restaurant itself is very inviting. It appears to have been recently renovated. The ambiance gets 5 points.

Review 2024 After everyone had praised the Pomeranian Fish Bar, and you can only get a table there by booking in the evening, I went there today for a very disappointing meal. The staff were friendly and attentive. Let the pictures of the food speak for themselves. I really didn't want to eat those completely burnt fried potatoes. When I mentioned it after asking the staff if everything was okay, I was simply dismissed with the comment that they would pass it on to the kitchen. There was no replacement, as one might have expected. Unfortunately very unprofessional and I don't think I want to eat there again.

After a long search, we found a highly recommended restaurant here. Friendly service, clean and well-kept ambience. We ate outside, at a table with 3 chairs and a comfortable beach chair. The food was tasty and deliciously presented, the menu was manageable, and the price/performance ratio was OK. We were very satisfied.

A great restaurant right on the promenade with friendly service. The terrace, located slightly below street level, offers a lovely outdoor seating area. The food is very good. You can tell that great importance is placed on freshness and quality, and everything is homemade. This is our second time there for dinner and we highly recommend the Pommersche Fischstube. Even during peak season, we easily got a table on the terrace without booking, although we were there quite early (around 4 p.m.).

I can only comment on the fish sandwiches. I had fried fish, and it tasted very good. The remoulade was really tasty. Very friendly staff.

A fantastic restaurant with super friendly service. The dishes range from herring to cod, from plaice to zander, and not to forget the fish soup, are a dream. Whether inside or outside, the ambiance is perfect. The staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. If you're in Ahlbeck, a visit is a must. A 10-day vacation includes five meals at the Fischstube. That's how it should be on the Baltic Sea.

It's definitely worth stopping by! Everything was simply wonderful. The food tasted excellent and was served quickly. It was also very attractively presented. We ate there with a toddler, and we were treated warmly and immediately offered something to paint. The atmosphere was very inviting. We were there in the early evening and were lucky to get a table. During peak times, it's definitely a good idea to reserve in advance. But from what we noticed, they always made sure to reserve seats.

The three of us ate at the Pommersche Fischstube in Ahlbeck, and what can we say: It was absolutely outstanding! For starters, we had solyanka, cream of asparagus soup, and fish soup, and all three were delicious, very well-seasoned, and served piping hot. The main courses, both fish and meat, were also excellent: large portions, perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and a true delight! The ice cream and wine are also highly recommended! The service was consistently friendly, very attentive, and welcoming. We also really liked the ambiance: modern, clean, and stylishly decorated – you immediately feel at home. We would come back anytime and highly recommend the Pommersche Fischstube. Absolutely favorite restaurant qualities! With great attention to detail, they prepared a wonderful evening for us to celebrate a milestone birthday that left nothing to be desired. Thank you so much, dear Fischstuben team! :-)

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were enticed by the "Beelitz asparagus with schnitzel" advertised on the sign! This asparagus from Beelitz has always been our favorite, and I personally claim to be able to conjure up the best asparagus at home (in a FullsteamPlus steam oven)! So, our expectations were high... and they were completely met! The asparagus was cooked to perfection, with a bite but not too soft, the hollandaise sauce was a dream, and when we heard the schnitzels being pounded in the kitchen, we knew: "This is going to be good!" The friendly service rounded off the impression, and we decided to go back two days later, even if it meant an 80km detour :)!

Great restaurant with a great location on Ahlbeck's beach promenade. The food was very good. I definitely recommend the plaice and the salad with salmon strips. The fish is freshly prepared and very good. For dessert, I recommend the chocolate cake and the apple crumble. The value for money is excellent. The staff is super friendly, and reservations were answered via email within 40 minutes. Reservations are definitely essential!!!

After trying it yesterday, it only made sense to eat here today for my mother's birthday. She was asked if she wanted a smaller portion, which was very thoughtful, considering older people tend to eat less. The food is absolutely excellent! The price is more than reasonable. We were probably there at the wrong time. The waitress seemed pretty overwhelmed. We waited a long time for the menus, then forever for the appetizer. A salad with shrimp and a dingy slice of baguette, which really annoyed me. The salad was poorly prepared, the dressing wasn't homemade, and neither was the hollandaise sauce for the asparagus. That disappointed me. The fish was good, but that was it. I skipped dessert.

Very good food and service! Nice decor. We had the best spiced meat (a typical East German dish) ever, and plaice with bacon and fried potatoes. When we asked, we were honestly told that the plaice wasn't fresh, but frozen from Norway. The preparation was so perfect that we wouldn't have even noticed! And delicious fried potatoes.
