Restaurant Marron d`Or in Heringsdorf

Phew. What can I say?! We ate there and the food was absolutely delicious. The roulade cost €30 with two dumplings and a bit of red cabbage. If it had actually tasted good, the price wouldn't have mattered, but not like this. The roulade was extremely dry and tasted of nothing. The service was very poor. The overweight waiter was unfriendly and didn't even say goodbye to us because there was no tip. When we asked if they had a schnitzel with sauce, the answer was no, even though they had Wiener schnitzel? That was a disgrace. For that price and such outrageous service, 0 stars.

The à la carte dinner was VERY good; we had the rump steak and a steak au four and were completely satisfied. With that, a dark Staropramen on tap—what more could you ask for? The waiter was both attentive and caring—since the cod we had originally chosen had already been completely devoured, he reserved it for us for the following evening.

We booked this hotel for a short break and were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and the service was good. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Beautiful restaurant with modern decor. The service was friendly and welcoming, and even humorous. I had 250g of asparagus with hollandaise sauce and a pork schnitzel with parsley potatoes. Exceptionally excellent, truly incomparably good. Unfortunately, no picture, which I'm sorry about, but I was very hungry. Nevertheless, highly recommended. Reasonable price/performance ratio.

Leider hat das Essen geschmeckt, als wäre es den ganzen Tag lang warmgehalten worden. Es war nicht frisch gebraten und alles etwas pappig. Das Personal war aber sehr nett und zuvorkommend.
