super tasty!! It's often difficult as a vegan on the Baltic Sea, but at Sarah's Mediterranean Secret you have a lot to choose from and you won't be disappointed. Also friendly service and really no long waiting time for the food to arrive. only recommended!!🌞

The food was very tasty, a large selection of vegetarian dishes and the kitchen knows its stuff when you can't eat dairy products.

So burgers are probably not the kitchen's strong point. Greek style burgers unfortunately far dry, bread hard. The second attempt after complaining wasn't really good either. Other dishes work much better! Extra point for the very dedicated service!

We waited 30 minutes for a card; in the off season. The waitress walked past us several times, making a fuss and complaining that it was so full. Then we got up and left. We cannot rate the food and drinks.

We stopped here for a short break. Cocktails great, very friendly owner. We would love to come back.

We sat outside because it was crowded inside and very loud. The food was good, but not outstanding. Tasty, but I wasn't impressed. The service was friendly, brought us blankets when we were cold.

You have to have a lot of patience and time. Food was ok. Unfortunately, not everyone at the table got their food at the same time, so one half was already finished and the other half waited another 15 minutes for their food.

We were guests for coffee and cake. Few guests. Ordering was quite listless. When I asked what kind of cake there was, the answer was: "I have no idea, you'll have to look for yourself..." said and done. The cake was very dry and not very tasty. We didn't stay long, although it was nice to sit in the sun.

Ein Restaurant mit einer aussergewöhnlichen Speisekarte - alle Gerichte aus dem Mittelmeerraum - ein unglaubliches Geschmackserlebnis - das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend - können wir nur weiter empfehlen Der einzige " Minuspunkt " - da das Lokal sehr offen gestaltet ist , wird es etwas laut ( wenn das Lokal voll ausgelastet ist)- auf der Aussenterasse ist es da sicher schöner - das ist aber im April am Abend dann doch noch etwas kühl.

Wir trafen uns mit Freunden hier, obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten wurde sofort eine Lösung gefunden und wir haben einen Tisch für 5 Personen bekommen. Der Service war freundlich und lustig. Hervorzuheben ist, dass es gar kein Problem darstellt die meisten Gerichte auch glutenfrei zuzubereiten. Ganz großer Pluspunkt, weil eben nicht nur „da lassen wir das mal weg oder jenes“ sondern „ kein Problem, wir haben auch glutenfreien Pizzateig, Nudeln usw.“ Echt klasse. Und dann das Essen, geschmacklich einfach top! 👍 wir kommen sehr gern wieder…

When in season, definitely try Pinsa with asparagus, salmon and hollandaise sauce. I haven't eaten so well in a long time!

First of all, super clean sanitary rooms. Extra requests for the order, accepted without hesitation, delicious and freshly prepared. No eye rolling or anything like that. Highly recommended. Lactose-free, vegan dishes with a large selection.

An impossible atmosphere, like a train station. Loud, sterile, total rush processing. Tourist trap. The burgers don't have any sauce, they come with bags of ketchup and mayo. The salad is unmarinated. The falafel is a disgrace to every Arab. You can't taste any Arabic spice. The price-performance ratio is completely excessive. Strongly advise against eating there.

It is advisable to reserve in advance as it is really busy. The staff is very friendly and everything is very clean. Unfortunately, the steakhouse fries were not completely cooked through and the fish fingers were cold. The salad with chicken breast was very tasty, but unfortunately some of the chicken pieces had been in the pan for too long and were therefore burnt and dry.

Today we had a cozy dinner with the family. You can't say anything against the restaurant per se, but we had to wait about 30 minutes for drinks and 1.5 hours for food (despite reservations). The waiters were very nice and the food tasted good too. The facility looks a bit like a mix of different restaurants :)

We have eaten here several times and have always been impressed. Unfortunately not this time. Too few staff, which was completely overwhelmed. Waited 1 hour for food...and then unfortunately a main course was missing. When asked, a pinsa intended for delivery was quickly maneuvered from the pizza box onto the plate and given to us. At least she was hot. The starter never reached us but it was still on the bill. It was canceled without any comment, but today's visit was unfortunately a failure. The food was undoubtedly good and tasty but you should also have staff available depending on the season. Everyone is stressed and completely overwhelmed by the number of guests.

Das ist eines der wenigen guten Restaurants in Ahlbeck bzw den Kaiserbädern. Tolles, abwechslungsreiches Essen und aufmerksamer Service. Besonders die ähyptischen Gerichte sind es wert zu probieren. Anscheinend läuft derzeit eine „schlechtmachkampagne“ gegen das Restaurant, nur so kann ich mir die negativen Bewertungen, die so überhaupt nicht mit dem Restaurant zusammenpassen, erklären. Für uns schon seit Jahren ein Empfehlung!

We went to the restaurant yesterday because of the many good reviews. Food: Lamb chops and a salad. Both were ok, but not particularly good. Service: Friendly and fast Ambience: Functional.

The outside menu really appealed to us. As soon as he sat down, the dog was given a bowl of water. Everything is fine up to this point. Then ordered food - both the same dish. One was missing fries and the meat was only lukewarm in both cases. Incomprehensible, with only one other table occupied. The answer to the question of whether everything was okay was tacitly accepted. Absolutely not again

- Stressed and disorganized staff even though only 50% of the tables were occupied - There's food, but no cooking; instead, ingredients are just thrown together - Dishes are described as exotic, but are cooked very carelessly - The "1001 Nights Plate" only had three ingredients: sweet potato fries, plain rice, and frozen spinach. They forgot topping. It only tasted of garlic and cost €18. - The Cairo Pinsa was as dry as the Gobi Desert, literally a waste of €17. Bye.

The restaurant is inviting and tastefully decorated, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly service, who looked after us attentively and warmly. The menu is varied and also offers a very good selection for vegetarians. However, there were two minor disappointments: The fresh mint tea unfortunately consisted of only two leaves in hot water – we would have preferred a more intensive preparation. The stir-fried vegetables also didn't quite meet our expectations. It consisted only of boiled carrots and broccoli, whereas we would have imagined a more varied and fried stir-fried vegetable dish. Despite these minor issues, our visit was overall positive, and we would recommend the restaurant – with the hope that minor adjustments would further enhance the dining experience.

Cappuccino much too small. Burger was nothing special, sweet potato fries were soggy. Server was damaging to the business. Lady categorizes customers from the very first second, then doesn't know a single word. Reason unknown. It worked at neighboring tables. Even when actively working toward "no tip" policy.

Von außen wirkt das Gebäude schick, aber das war es dann auch. Innen wirken die Tische und die Dekoration sehr billig und uneinladend. Mediterran ist der Stil auch nicht. Im Restaurant läuft Musik, die sich mit dem Radiosender der laut in der offenen Küche dröhnt mischt und für ein absolut unangenehmes Erlebnis sorgt. Die Bedienung war unfreundlich, fiel ins Wort und war wegen einer Nachfrage patzig. Das Essen war auch unter aller Sau. Ungewürzt, zu fettig und Fertigprodukte und Saucen. Hatte mir mehr erhofft, da groß mit glutenfreiem Angebot geworben wird, aber hier gehe ich nicht wieder essen.

The Egyptian/Oriental cuisine dishes are very interesting, and almost everything is vegetarian! For that 🖐️ “high five!” Something different. Service: nice young team, multilingual, Polish anyway, you are here on Usedom, the port city of Świnoujście is just a stone's throw away. A special request was taken into account and the meal was slightly adjusted. Top! Interesting: the kitchen is separated from the dining room by a window, so you can (if you want) watch the kitchen team. Not everyone is a plus point either! Lastly, the dishes: falafel burger with sweet potato fries and a pinsa (Italian bread specialty), with drinks. Of course the prices are higher here: island, tourism hotspot etc. Still reasonable. Ambience: Sarah's is located on the promenade, view outside, the outdoor area is certainly busy when the temperatures are higher. Quite attractive modern furnishings, lots of colors, NOT a "cold" restaurant with white walls and gray furniture, exactly the PLEASANT opposite - very good. Conclusion: First visit, no disappointment, will come again! Dziekuje bardzo!

Unfortunately we weren't thrilled. There was a very strong smell of oil in the restaurant. The seats were broken and there were blankets put over them. The starter of eggplant mousse didn't taste like much. The sweet potato fries were soft. In the Italian burger, the bun was much too big, I left out the top half so that I didn't just taste the bun. Even the very tasteless kebab didn't taste oriental. The vegetables were roots and broccoli. Positive, the service was nice and friendly.

Da der oder die Inhaber des Sarah's wiederholt juristisch versuchen, jede negative Google-Renzension mit fadenscheinigen Argumenten, aktuell ist es der groteske Vorwurf der Verleumdung, löschen zu lassen, sehe ich mich mich veranlasst, unsere sehr schlechten Erfahrungen, insbesondere im Hinblick auf Service und Wartezeiten, hier nochmals zu wiederholen. Schlechte Kritiken sind offenbar nicht erwünscht und bleiben unreflektiert, was sehr schade ist. Zudem werden Google-Rezensionen ad absurdum geführt, da sie offenbar manupulierbar sind und nicht repräsentativ die Bewertungen des Sarah's widerspiegeln.

Finally found a restaurant on Usedom with a large selection of vegan dishes. I had a rice pan with spinach and sweet potatoes, it tasted very good. We will come again.

Es handelt sich jedoch um einen Erfahrungsbericht und sachliche Kritik! Der Aufenthalt im Restaurant wurde geschildert, wie er erlebt wurde. Ich bin ehrlich entsetzt, dass ein Unternehmen negative Bewertungen, auch wenn sie der Wahrheit entsprechen, entfernen lässt, anstatt sich der Kritik anzunehmen! Sehr schade!!! ABSOLUT NICHT zu empfehlen!!! ORIGINALREZENSION: Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht. Nach der vielversprechenden Karte und den guten Bewertungen hatten wir uns auf einen schönen Abend gefreut. Leider stimmte heute so gar nichts. Der Service war überfordert (Ja, wir waren zur Stoßzeit da und es war voll, aber zumindest leere Gläser abräumen und Getränkewünsche während der fast anderthalbstündigen Wartezeit auf das Essen erfragen, sollte man erwarten können.) Das Essen war sehr enttäuschend- die Italian Burger waren neben dem Patty mit 1 Scheibe Tomate, einigen Blättern Rucola und reichlich(!) Supermarktpesto belegt. Der Mozzarella fehlte ganz. Die "1001 Nacht Reispfanne" entpuppte sich als trockener gebratener Reis mit einigen verirrten Süßkartoffelpommes und aufgetautem Blattspinat, den man suchen musste. Die Granatapfelsauce war nicht vorhanden. Einen Stern gibt es für die Limonaden. Wir kommen leider nicht wieder!

Great location, the food tastes pretty good, but the completely understaffed and overwhelmed staff doesn't manage to do justice to the advertised ambience. It took almost 20 minutes before we could order. Afterwards only the drinks were taken, even though we wanted to order the food including the appetizer at the same time because we already suspected something bad about the waiting time. Unfortunately it wasn't possible. Afterwards we actually sat and waited for over an hour with hungry children who had ordered a so-called pinsa (a type of pizza that only needed to be heated up briefly). Repeated inquiries were hardly possible because the staff tried not to let themselves be spoken to. When the food came it was very good. We tested Sarah's again on a different day at a different time. There were hardly three tables occupied, but unfortunately the service wasn't any better. Conclusion: What a shame. A lot could certainly be done better by optimizing the service area and order acceptance.

Wir haben am Nachmittag das Angebot "Kaffee Crema + ein Stück Kuchen/Torte nach Wahl" genutzt. Ich wählte die Sanddorntorte und die war wirklich köstlich! Das Restaurant/Café ist orientalisch ausgestattet, sehr gemütlich. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich. Wir würden zum Kaffeetrinken auf jeden Fall wieder hierher kommen. Das Essen können wir nicht beurteilen.

This restaurant is taking action against negative reviews with the accusation of defamation and you have to provide extensive evidence that you were actually there. Otherwise, "cross-border" reviews like: "The selection of food was very good. However, the staff was very unfriendly and the prices were high. We were not greeted and ignored for a long time. After we were finally served, it was rude. It's a shame." was forced to delete it and the ability to rate this location on Google was blocked. The reviews here are therefore not representative.

Such a nice restaurant, from the greeting to the farewell including holding the door open. Here you get the feeling that the employees enjoy their job and are interested in the guests. I was really excited. The food was so delicious at a good price considering the place is right on the Ahlbeck promenade. The portion was great, since I'm not a heavy eater I had to have it packed. I go out to eat often, so here is everything that struck me as positive: - Service: the waiters were all nice without exception. This is not a given outside of the season. Attention and responsiveness was very good. The food came very quickly. It was well filled for the time of year. - Food and drinks: not just a visual highlight. I am gluten intolerant and prefer to eat vegetarian. Both are complicated in themselves. The restaurant offers gluten-free options and the dish I had was vegan unless I missed something. What really surprised me was the taste. You kind of know what to expect with a rice pan (most of them are a bit boring), but it was so incredibly delicious! 10/10. Glad you exist!

Very nice staff. We are here for rehab and have already eaten at Sarah's three times. There are many gluten-free products that are also very tasty. My daughter (9 years old) loves the burgers. Even though the food is freshly prepared, there are no long waiting times. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again.

We ordered gluten-free pinsas (pizza) and enjoyed them very much - both the dough and the variety of toppings, and our children also liked them very much. The “normal” pinsas were also very tasty. Quickly prepared and friendly service. Very happy again!

Unfortunately, we cannot share the positive reviews here. My husband looked at the menu while we were walking and said to me: "Shall we eat here?" No sooner said than done, we booked a table for the next day. It started with a Hefeweizen which my husband didn't like. The rump steak was very dry and, in his opinion, the jacket potatoes were not fresh either. He expected better for the price. The sauce with king prawns, jacket potatoes and vegetables was very, very oily. Our daughter had a hamburger, which Patti didn't taste good at all.

Ein einfach schreckliches Erlebnis, man bekommt vordorbenes Tiramisu, das Ersatz Gebäck muss man obendrauf auch noch bezahlen. Unfreundlich und der Stil ist eher arabisch, als mediteran. Der einzige Stern kommt von mir leider nur( und das war eine Überraschung für mich) für die sanitäranlage, sauber und gepflegt. Das Restaurant ist keinen Besuch wert!

The tiramisu was inedible, I brought this to the attention of the staff. All I got was a curt answer. I was then able to choose another piece of cake. The great thing was that I had to pay extra for it. I'm sure no one will see me again.

The ambience has little to do with Mediterranean! For a coffee setting you get a hidden cake or tiramisu, but you still have to pay for the cover in full, plus the compensatory schnapps, and the staff was also more than unfriendly! The only and sad star from me goes to the sanitary facilities, clean and well maintained.

We were happy because there were many vegetarian dishes and we like to eat oriental food. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Food, probably not freshly prepared, was no longer edible, tasted sour and tingled on the tongue. Service was unsympathetic and when we said we didn't want to eat there anymore, the chef swore loudly in the kitchen and insulted us. We then left before the main course. Not recommended this restaurant!!

Gluten-free yes (everything tolerated well), food so-so. I had a gluten-free burger (the one with double beef) and unfortunately the taste was absolutely average. The bun was quite good for gluten-free, but the meat was frozen and unfortunately not even seared. That's a shame, because I think in principle there's a clever chef at work here. However, the burger cost just under 20 euros, and you can expect more. I would also have liked to have fries with it, but unfortunately the waitress didn't speak German very well and therefore didn't understand that I wanted to know whether foods containing gluten were fried in the deep fryer (cross-contamination). Maybe this information can be added to the map.

The restaurant is a real asset to the entire area! If you want an alternative to the standard food, then you've come to the right place :) there are many vegetarian/vegan dishes as well as delicious burgers and other meat dishes. The restaurant is a little more expensive but it delivers :)

Disappointment across the board I don't even know where to start. Best when eating, because I haven't been as disappointed as I was here in a long time. I ordered the chicken skewer for €25 – and I could hardly believe my eyes when the portion came. Not only was it incredibly little, it was also a disaster in terms of craftsmanship. The fries were limp and completely unseasoned. The vegetable? Tiny portions and so overcooked that it really had no taste. Unfortunately, the bland vegetables didn't help save the overall impression. The chicken skewer, supposedly prepared with an oriental marinade, was the crowning glory of the whole thing - in a negative sense. Neither the structure of the meat nor the taste was reminiscent of anything of high quality. More like cheap grilled meat from the self-service department of a discount store. Conceptually, the store is also a failure. It seems as if no one has given it any serious thought. Oriental flair? None. Instead, exposed cables and an atmosphere that is not at all harmonious. Conclusion: If you have no demands and still want to be disappointed, you can go here. For everyone else: Please save yourself time, money and stress and go somewhere else. I haven't been this mad about spending money on food in a long time.

Very good place to enjoy vegan or vegetarian cuisine!!! Perfect implementation of oriental cuisine👍👍👍. We were thrilled and will definitely come back!!! The team was friendly all around and contributed to a lovely stay! Change to my previous 5 star rating... 1 star because zero doesn't work 🤔. Operation and service super bad! There were only 2!!! Tables occupied. With us then 3. The waitress saw us, but apparently didn't want to serve us. After 20 minutes we finally got the card. We were then allowed to order drinks and then nothing happened for a long time. No eye contact or waving helped. The service ignored and completely!!! After 30 minutes... I was about to leave, I got up and asked her why she wasn't taking our food order. She immediately got snotty and said how would she know we wanted something to eat?! Sure, I'm sitting in the restaurant for fun... waving out of desperation... just out of boredom 😡. She then just continued speaking to her colleagues in Polish... probably nothing nice about us. We had food after 1.45 hours and what used to be great has definitely deteriorated... unfortunately! The taste was bland, lukewarm and, in retrospect, probably not necessarily hygienic. Had massive problems with nausea afterwards. It's a shame for this once great restaurant! We won't be coming back!

For me the best restaurant on Usedom (at least of the ones I've visited so far)! Large portions, a few special features on the menu and, above all, a huge vegan selection. Really very nice service staff. Great!

After a walk, the sign with “handmade” cakes lured us into the restaurant. Actually, we could have guessed that you don't go to a Mediterranean restaurant for coffee and cake. The cake and tarts are industrial frozen goods with no taste. You can drink the coffee. What is positive is that there was a large selection of cakes and high chairs for children.

Very nice owner, very varied food, especially delicious if it was kosher. There was plenty of food and it was filling Very well attended even at the end of October. Keep it up.

Inspired by a walk and a look at the map and especially the reviews you can read here, we chose today's visit as the highlight of our vacation. We love Mediterranean cuisine and chatting with people. Today (October 25th, 2024) we had some really nice autumn weather and sat down in the most wonderful sunshine. And we waited and wondered what the waitress was doing. She rushed around seemingly aimlessly. Then we got the cards that were lying around on the tables next to the used dishes. Then we ordered and realized the Polish lady didn't know the menu. Please just state the number and the limo was without quantity. At some point the food came and she placed the food my wife ordered in front of me. Before that, three sets of cutlery (different ones) arrived and were placed at the edge of the table. The food was so-so, since we know Mediterranean cuisine. And then there was a couple at the next table with Polish roots. Suddenly the conversation became as friendly as described here. And so quickly the guests also received drinks and food. Other people noticed the lady's unprofessional behavior and left. Her communication was more rude than friendly, and not just to us. And in the end the device spun to pay and an invoice/receipt was not offered or issued. You didn't notice anything about the people inside. The ambience was more island-appropriate than Mediterranean.

Wir haben heute dort zu Abend gegessen. Am Nachmittag hatten wir versucht, einen Tisch zu reservieren, dies würden sie aber, wie uns vom Kellner vor Ort erklärt wurde, nicht machen, wir sollten abends einfach vorbei kommen. Das haben wir auch getan. Die Personen in der Schlange vor uns wurden als erstes gefragt, ob sie denn reserviert hätten. Hatten sie nicht, genauso wenig wie wir. Einen Tisch gab es dann aber trotzdem, der klebte allerdings total, wie auch die darauf platzierte Getränkekarte und der Salz- und Pfefferstreuer. Die Speisekarte gab es erst nach längerem Warten und nachdem wir danach gefragt hatten. Auch sie klebte. Bestellt haben wir dann 2 Bier, auch die Griffe der Biergläser klebten. Zum Essen haben wir Falafel mit Salat, Hummus und Pita-Brot und einen mediterranen Burger mit Pommes bestellt. Die Falafel wurden als Spezialiät des Hauses beworben. Geschmeckt haben beide Gerichte nicht. Der Burger und die Pommes waren versalzen, die Falafel völlig trocken und „geschmacksneutral“, genauso wie Hummus und die dazugehörige Sesamsauce. Der Salat war alt und z.T. schon gammelig. Auf unseren Hinweis, das es wirklich nicht schmecken würde und der Salat auch schon sehr alt sei, erfolgte keinerlei Reaktion. Für den verlangten Preis waren die Portionen nicht besonders groß, es ist also auch kein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gegeben. Für uns ist klar, dass wir dieses Restaurant nicht noch einmal aufsuchen werden. So schlecht haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen.

Unfortunately you forgot the fries you ordered. The fries, which were delivered quickly, should have been left in the deep fryer for another 2-3 minutes; unfortunately, they were not edible. On the second dish the buns were bone dry. Sorry, that wasn't good!

Wir waren spontan zum Abendessen dort, da wir mal eine Alternative zu Fischrestaurants besuchen wollten. Die Karte machte mich zunächst etwas skeptisch. Hier gibt es Speisen aus dem gesamten Mittelmeerraum ohne Beschränkung auf eine bestimmte Küche. Wir hatten Tabuleh und Hummus mit Mango als Vorspeise, sowie ein orientalisches Reisgericht und einen Burger als Hauptgang. Alles war sehr lecker und frisch. Das burgerpatty war aus frischen Rindfleisch. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich. Am Ende haben wir für Essen und mehrere Getränke 75€ gezahlt. Ich kann das Lokal weiterempfehlen.

My child was happy, there were gluten free burgers. My citizen with falafel was ok, a bit dry. The drinks are a bit expensive.

My impression is more Mitropa, food mediocre, service catastrophe. Once and never again, when there are three people at the table, the waiter forgets to take the order from the third and runs off.

Cozy atmosphere, courteous and friendly staff, as well as very good vegan ❣️ cuisine, which is unfortunately far too rare on the Baltic Sea. Thank you for the lovely evening.
