GOSCH Bansin im Beachhouse in Heringsdorf

A fish sandwich for €4.30 with one Lovingly topped with herring fillet and onion rings... cheeky, no lettuce leaf or anything like that... thank you, never again. Then it's better to go to the local fishermen's fish stalls!

Unfortunately, the salmon was far too dry and completely oversalted, the price of over €25 for 3 small pieces was not justified, it's a shame that the quality hasn't improved.

The pan fish was tasty and well fried, the mustard sauce was aromatic. The fried potatoes could have been a little crispier.

Yesterday we had dinner at Gosch with 14 people. Super fast, super tasty and very friendly staff in the kitchen and in service. We were very excited and would love to come back.

Since the Corona period, the food has become more expensive (okay, yes inflation), the portions have become smaller and the quality has worsened. Of the two herrings I had on my last visit, one was totally musty. The men at the serving counter were also more grumpy than friendly.

The kitchen closes at 8:27 p.m.

Gosch is always worth a visit. No matter where, you can rely on the quality.

A wonderful fish restaurant with a wide selection and wonderfully fresh ingredients. The concept is just as convincing as the dishes themselves. We also went out to eat there on two consecutive evenings because it was simply delicious. The price is also completely reasonable. The portions are a decent size and even small extra requests are happy to be fulfilled. Our conclusion: absolutely recommended

The plates were full and really delicious. I had imagined the ambience to be a little more comfortable.

Love of animals with all due respect, but for us animals definitely don't belong in the restaurant! We find it unhygienic and unpleasant. Personally, we like going to Gosch, but today there were several dogs in the restaurant at the same time and that's just not possible for us. Plus its own drinking bowl, I wonder why this isn't outside. It put us off and we won't be coming back as long as it is as it is. I like to spend my money, but then somewhere else. And yes, I like dogs a lot...

I bought two herring rolls today. A roll cost €4.50. The topping was a piece of herring and three onion rings. An absolute disgrace. The waitress behind the counter had no interest. We will never enter this “restaurant” again.

Good food and attentive staff. A little loud

We've been coming here since it opened. The ambience and initially also the food really appealed to us. Unfortunately the quality of the food has declined over time. The prices have increased - like everywhere else - but the portions have also become smaller. We were also disappointed in the taste of the food last time and will prefer to go to a regional fish restaurant with service in the future.

The food tasted good and was okay, but unfortunately the fried potatoes were only lukewarm and the plates were not preheated. The service was very friendly and accommodating. It was drafty in the restaurant because the door was wide open, which is a bit inappropriate for November...

If you're on the Baltic Sea, a visit to Gosch is a must ;-). Bach fish is always possible for us, at any time of the day or night. Various side dishes to choose from, fried potatoes or salad. Always a good choice in a roll on hand.

Price/performance ratio is absolutely fine, taking food with you is no problem either.

Had a crab roll on hand for 8.90 euros. It was a hard baked bun which was already very hard. Crabs were cold and muddled with dressing. Never again. Quality is different.

Nightmare....Was there with my girlfriend, she wanted it so much. Unfriendly, poorly trained staff, and fish poisoning. But first things first. I fast regularly, so I skip breakfast. Were there at 1:30 p.m. and were lucky, the sun was shining. Perfect day. Inside everything is nicely furnished, everything is good so far. Until I had contact with the employees. Ordered a tea, which overwhelmed the unfriendly woman at the counter. My girlfriend had the oven potato, I had the noble fish plate. She liked it quite a bit, I wasn't that impressed. During the meal we only heard kitchen workers swearing. Every other word was Kurwa. Apart from that, the boys were probably hungry because they were stuffing their cheeks the whole time. The counter worker yawned so heartily every minute that we could count their crowns. My girlfriend eats quite slowly, which was probably a bit too slow for the waiter, so he wanted to clear the plate even though the cutlery was on break. When we said no, he snapped. When we were finished, he didn't even ask if it was tasty. Even the employees at McDonalds have better training...Now we come to my favorite part. At 16 I started feeling sick and thought ok, it's happening. However, we were in the car and it got so bad that I had to get off the highway to throw up. And that was just the beginning of a very torturous night with “fire coming from every opening.” Coupled with chills, fever and cramps. There wasn't even any water left in it...now it's the morning after and I feel like a truck has run over my body. If it doesn't get better, I'll have to go to the hospital. Update will follow if necessary!

Delicious as usual. Fish rolls and other things are also available here outside of the house.

Gosch has his own style and we really like it. Food very tasty, staff very friendly. Always come back.

The right thing you need on the beach!

The fine fish plate only gets three stars from me. Reason: The fish was fried too much, so the food was very dry overall.

5+ stars for the crew around chef Dirk!!! His passion for cooking, his great team - simply great!!! The food is very tasty, prepared with great skill and the portion size leaves nothing to be desired! I hope that this will be appreciated accordingly in the Gosch household! One more request to senior manager Jünne: We are your (Gosch) fans! But what we experienced in Westerland in June is simply not possible! Tasteless, fish fried for too long, portions too small! PLEASE LET DIRK AND TEAM COOK FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES - that's how I got to know you and your gastronomy - THAT'S GREAT!!!

Very tasty and located right on the beach promenade.

No previous dishes cleared for 1 hour...

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the salmon spaghetti. The spaghetti was covered in a thin sauce. I didn't taste any of the cream or spices at all. There were 3 small pieces of broccoli and 2 small tomatoes. It was very bland and sober. In response to my objection to the service person, he only explained to me when I asked again... yes, the sauce was too thin and too much. Unfortunately, a simple “sorry” didn’t come. Too bad.

Not perfect and not exactly cheap in terms of price. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed when eating outside. Compared to what is on offer in Bansin, it is definitely a useful offer and friendly staff.

The Aperol Spritz is top. There's a lot of Prosecco in there. So not so watery. I can only recommend it!!!!

We have been going to “Gosch” in Bansin at least once on our vacation for many years now. I actually wanted to give a very good review as we have always eaten very well, but this year we were very disappointed. As always, the atmosphere was pleasant and clean. The service is difficult to judge as it is a self-service restaurant. The cashiers were friendly, although curt. But the food has clearly deteriorated. In the past, you actually had a full plate that you sometimes barely managed to eat, but now you save a lot on the plate size. The prices have risen to between at least €5 and €8 per fish dish and you sometimes pay up to €26, with scampi and the like up to €30 for a dish. You can now also have an excellent meal in a full-service fish restaurant. In my opinion, the taste of the spaghetti with salmon was very bland and watery. Conclusion: The name used to mean quality, but it was not maintained and it is overpriced.

Unser erster Gosch Besuch in Bansin war am 15.9.24 und der letzte am 28.9.24 . Jetzt ist unser Urlaub zuende. Das Essen ist sehr sehr lecker. Wir hatten beide male Fisch. Der Fisch war nicht Totgebraten, er war saftig. Auch die Beilage waren lecker. Es gab Bratkartoffel die nicht Fettig waren und die Folienkartoffel . Das Personal ist dort sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wenn wir wieder in Bansin sind werden wir immer wieder einkehren.

At first we didn't want to come here. We thought it would definitely be pretty expensive, so we went on. Then came by again and took a closer look and oops, the price. Walked in and ordered, good food nice for a short stay and everything was good. Is here with a deductible, waiting time for food is okay and as I said everything is fine.👍

2 x fried fish to go and one fries. The fried fish was ready in 2 minutes. The fries on a plate almost 10 minutes later. No problem! We would have brought the plate back too. Both fish and chips are better eaten elsewhere in Bansin.

Good food, but no service - friendly staff.

At Gosch you know what you are getting. Very dog-friendly, there was immediately a water bowl for the furry friend. Prices normal for a holiday resort.

Food was good but could be more. Overpriced in my opinion. The prices are excessive for a “fast food restaurant” where I have to place the order at the counter and get the food and drinks myself. Everything very clean.

The food was really tasty. The zander and the wolffish were well fried but still juicy. The fried potatoes were tasty and not greasy. The staff friendly and nice.

Baked fish rolls “complete” for 6.50 euros. Nothing on it except a “seagull shit” remoulade. It didn't taste good either. The burly salesman also had no desire for customers. That wasn't bad.

The concept that you get your own food and drinks doesn't bother you at all, you don't have to wait for waiters and you pay at the counter straight after ordering. The food is top class and the atmosphere is super nice, we immediately felt at home. Gladly again on your next visit to Usedom!

Self-service, large selection, quick preparation, many places inside and outside, Gosch quality

With friends we got a nice table outside in the bright sunshine (just a bit close to the neighboring tables). We had plaice Finkenwerder style with fried potatoes, Matjes Hausfrau style with fried potatoes and various drinks. The food was tasty, although the plaice and fried potatoes were a bit oily. The drinks were delicious and nice and chilled (or hot 😉). It's difficult to rate the service when it comes to self-service, but the employees were consistently very friendly and the tables were cleared away regularly. Overall, the visit felt a bit expensive.

GOSCH is a must. Nobody comes here. Simply delicious. Even a year later it is still a MUST for every visitor to Bansin.

We visited Gosch in Bansin twice, sat outside once and inside. Very tasty food and good portions, preparation was quick despite the restaurant being full and you sit comfortably. Price-performance ratio is right here and we would be happy to come back.

No matter where I go, I know that I will get good food at reasonable prices. I can't understand some people's complaining.

Very tasty food that deserves the price. Self-service but everything happens very quickly. Food all freshly prepared!! Highly recommended I had Thai noodles with shrimp. Super tasty. What you can't manage can be packed up and taken with you in a very original way.

I'm always amazed at how many 40/50 year olds visit the McDonald's of the North. Gosch is a fast food chain. Self-service and at the same prices. There are smaller, better restaurants there. But just German.🤦‍♂️🤷

SB restaurant. All dishes are freshly prepared and are very tasty. So you have to plan for some waiting time. It's hard to get a spot at peak times, so patience is required, but it's worth it!

The snack menu is ok, but a currywurst with fries for €11.50 is significantly too expensive. The service staff seem overworked and are not very friendly towards the customers. That doesn't fit the image.

Just Gosch! Quality is highly valued. Food is very tasty, preparation is quick, even when it is full. Self-service, tables are cleared regularly. You can sit outside and inside until late in the evening, then take a walk on the beach promenade. Staff are consistently friendly, attentive and helpful!

Just beautiful here! Casual and very pleasant atmosphere. It's easy to talk to other people while eating because it doesn't have the typical restaurant feel. The choice of food is very large, good wines.

Fischer Fritze fishes better fresh fish rolls! They are expensive and put together without love! 12.90 € for Knobi approx. 7 shrimps with a slice of baguette. Sad goldmine on the beach!

It's better to go by and buy a decent fish sandwich a little further away. Here every euro is thrown away for a fish sandwich. My assessment relates to the quality of the toppings and the rolls. Mr. Gosch, where have you and your company arrived? I decided not to go back to eat. One disappointment was enough. Take a look!

A restaurant on the lake promenade where you can satisfy your hunger, mainly with fine fish dishes. It is more of a fast food restaurant than a restaurant that represents the name Gosch. I've also been to Bosch on Sylt, unfortunately there's no comparison. But the quality of the food can't be faulted.

Top recommendation. Were there 5 times during our vacation. Always packed. Location is nice. Food overall good. Rather expensive but you're happy to pay that on vacation.

Stop Gosch. Good fish at reasonable prices in a relaxed atmosphere.

We have been guests at the Beachhouse for years now, and Gosch's food is regularly a highlight of our vacation. The team is great and the food is simply great.

Totally recommended! Everything tasted just as it did almost 20 years ago in Berlin at Potsdamer Platz! Very nice restaurant, small but nice terrace, very friendly staff, it was a really cool 3 evenings with you! Hopefully see you next time!

Fresh fish dishes with self-service service, everything clean and ok

Thai penne with crayfish for 19.60 euros is super tasty and a very large portion that can easily be shared. Nice atmosphere.

Very nice ambience, cozy atmosphere. The food in the restaurant is quite okay. In my opinion, the fish sandwiches at the outdoor snack bar are the driest on the whole island. We had Bismarck and Brathering. Apart from a very generous amount of onions, there was nothing there, no cucumber, no lettuce. They were more like onion rolls. The mussel roll from the fried herring looked nice, but was totally sticky.

We quickly grabbed some fish sandwiches during our lunch break! Unfortunately once and never again... Dry bun! No lettuce leaf or anything that could make the roll more attractive or tastier! And that for €4.30!!!!!!! Something urgently needs to happen!

SB system catering is more appearance than reality

The food is very tasty in the restaurant but there is no official service for ordering. You have to get the food and drinks yourself. The service clears the tables. PS: the fish sandwiches are amazing

How long should we talk about: Gosch. System catering with negligent “service”. Chairs are carelessly pushed together, the cleaning of the tables falls by the wayside... And there are also language barriers. Looking at the chronology of the menus, you can clearly see that (Gosch slogan) is really being fished out here. But as long as the tourists pay it!? Not my shop, my wife wanted to go there.

We had matjes and fried herring fish rolls as well as two well-kept hefeweizen at Gosch 😀! The fish rolls were again great, super tasty, just real Gosch quality! In addition, a very friendly, pleasant, forthcoming service staff.... We remain regular guests 😃! Plus the location right on the apromenade, right on the beach... you can't beat that together with the usual delicious Gosch food! 👍👍👍👍👍
