I ate a very good chicken curry there with a side salad for €11. I can only recommend it!

The Porter House in Taunusstein is a great address for cozy evenings with friends or family. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening in good company. The menu offers a nice selection of delicious dishes, and the selection of drinks leaves nothing to be desired - the freshly tapped beers and cocktails are particularly recommended! The service is friendly and attentive, you immediately feel at home. All in all, a great place that I would happily recommend!

The toilet doesn't work at all! For €35 steak you have to be able to go to the toilet.

Not exactly cheap, but you get quality food and drinks. Non-alcoholic cocktails are also very tasty. You don't have to wait too long for the food. The atmosphere is modern and chic.

We ate a large mixed salad and a grilled plate and the food was really, really tasty. Only cash payment possible, no cards.

I ordered two lunch menus today and picked them up! There are probably either spring rolls or crab chips with the menu... I asked the ladies very nicely if she could please put crab chips in one of the menus instead of spring rolls, due to intolerance. This was answered in the negative and the customer had to say what he wanted over the phone. The spring rolls were now specially made. I asked you to ask the customer when ordering (not everyone knows that there are extras) whether they would like spring rolls or crab chips. This was discreetly ignored. When I asked if you could pay by card, the answer was no! Unfortunately, it's a shame! Because the food tastes really good. A little friendlier and more customer-oriented would be great.

The food was really delicious and is highly recommended. We had the gourmet block with us and so the price was absolutely right. Without the Schlemmerblock I have to honestly say it would be too expensive for me personally. The service was really anything but good. At the beginning we said that we had reservations. The staff then ran away and left us standing there for quite a long time and obviously “forgot” us. When we sat at the table it took a while before we were even served. The drinks and food came pretty quickly, but afterward we weren't asked if we wanted dessert or if we wanted anything else to drink. After we asked for the bill, it took quite a long time until we finally went to the counter to pay because no one came. For me this is anything but service.

Really nice service and very, very tasty food. Prices are a bit higher but it's worth it if you want to taste good food!

No menu, just buffet with no transparency on pricing. Food was average (rather aiming for mass than quality) but prices were fair. (neither good or bad value for money). Service rather poorly (not bad though) however below expectation, but friendly! All in all this restaurant is below expectation for this level of Hotel. Not many other choices around, so I guess they don’t have (or want) to try harder - at least that is the feeling one‘s getting. I had the same experience on two visits in two different weeks in this month.
