Viet-Thai in Taunusstein

I was there once and it wasn't great. Unfortunately, they really ripped me off. I didn't understand what I was getting, and the whole order was wrong, and the prices were changed. I wouldn't even give it one star for what I saw. The worst shop and truly disrespectful.

I had fried noodles with chicken. Absolutely delicious food.

I've ordered there several times and was always satisfied. But my last order will definitely be my last. 1. It's very difficult to order by phone when the person speaks very poor German. 2. After waiting for an hour, I called again to inquire about my order. I was then asked again about the entire order and where it was going. Then I was assured that my food would arrive within the next half hour because the driver was stuck in traffic... Well, I live in Wehen myself, and I hadn't heard anything about a traffic jam. After the food finally arrived after a good hour and a half and the driver had left, I noticed that both dishes were missing sauces! I called again, and they pretended they couldn't hear me. I hung up and called again. Maybe there was a traffic jam on the phone line? Well, then nobody answered. PS: Unfortunately, I can't recommend the Viet-Thai Bistro. Despite the endless wait and the forgotten sauces, I paid €28 for two dishes, which I find quite cheeky!

I was traveling through and found the food here very delicious, the owner is very friendly, reasonable prices!

The most unfriendly contact I've ever experienced. A restaurant calls me, yells into the phone that I have to get the food, "I HAVE TO GET THE FOOD, I HAVE TO GET THE FOOD!" He explains more than once that the driver had just rung the bell and that fetching it wasn't necessary. The person on the phone just yelled louder and louder, "I have to get the food," didn't understand what I was saying. Then he yelled louder and louder until he hung up, screaming. I've never experienced anything like that before. The driver also didn't understand what I wanted him to say, that he was supposed to tell the restaurant that they shouldn't yell at their customers and that they apparently have a system error. He just looked at me incomprehensibly and smiled, "Yeah, yeah." Anyone who treats customers like that doesn't belong in the job. We won't order from them again. Absolutely outrageous. To make matters worse, the wrong dish was delivered to both of us. It used to be good, but we haven't ordered for a long time because we had the same problem last time. They don't order anything from there anymore.

Tastes good, people are nice and friendly

I've gotten food from there several times, and it was always pretty good, but not so much lately. Due to the rather large language barrier, the wrong dish was delivered (although you can hear a big difference between rice and noodles, or 80 and 90, especially if you repeat it four times). Furthermore, the sauces (peanut and sweet and sour) ranged from not good to very bad. The latter made the (fake) noodles inedible. Furthermore, the prices increased significantly again last year (you can see jumps of 40-80% in the brochure, for example).

1 star. We ordered and the food arrived 'relatively' on time. The order was wrong and I contacted the restaurant as quickly as possible. These were completely incomprehensible and the phone was passed around three times before I even got an answer. The 'answer' consisted of 'is the driver already gone' and my 'yes' was only answered with an unfriendly 'ok bye'. After waiting for half an hour, we tried to make do with the food that had arrived because there was no further response. However, the inside of the vegetable was “inhabited” with small beetles .....Unfortunately I'm not kidding. This is the most disgusting thing I have ever encountered. Deserves 0 stars therefore gets 1

The food is very tasty, and the lady is very nice and welcoming. I come here very often. Perfect to take away, or eat quickly during your break time. Thank you for your kindness

I actually love the food, but today I was extremely disappointed! I ordered rice and chicken WITH sweet and sour sauce. When my food arrived after an hour, the delivery person said he had forgotten my sauce and whether I still wanted it. I answered yes of course… he said it might take a while because he needed 20 minutes from Bleidenstadt to Wehen to get the sauce? After another hour, which I had to waste waiting, he came back with my sauce and was totally unfriendly! After I was finally able to start eating (my rice and chicken were already cold), there was just a hair in my rice! 🤮🤢 Conclusion: I will never order again! I can only advise against it for anyone unless you like eating cold rice with hair

I don't understand, what's the point of having a person on the phone who doesn't speak a single word of German. I order crispy duck and she says “Yes €22 for 2x chicken”. Can't be true...

Almost ordered today through Lieferando, not least because it says “100% without glutamate” at the top - but a look at the ingredients of the individual dishes shows that almost every dish contains “flavor enhancers”. Apparently they don't know that both are the same thing! 😅

Tasty Asian cuisine for a good price. We order here regularly and are always satisfied. Big portion.

Simply perfect food, never eaten such good food as here

A pity. The crispy duck with rice and hoisin sauce looked very appetizing, the portion was huge. Dip the fork into the sauce, delicious! Tried a piece of vegetable, also very tasty, nice and crunchy. Then transferred everything onto a plate, tasted the duck, was full of turn-offs. The frying fat was probably rancid and that's exactly how the duck tasted :-((. Unfortunately, that spoiled the taste of the other, quite tasty, ingredients because I put the rice and duck on the plate and then put the vegetables on top . As I said, it's a shame, it had potential. With fresh fat it would have been at least 4 stars.

Wenn ich könnte, würde ich minus Sterne geben. War heute zum ersten Mal in diesem Laden und war über die Zustände schockiert. Der Boden klebt wirklich überall, die Luft steht, die Fenster sind richtig trüb, man kann kaum raus gucken. Alles ist dreckig, im Aquarium tote Fische, ich habe mich nicht getraut was anzufassen, die Dame hat einen absolut überforderten Eindruck gemacht. Die Verständigung war auch sehr schwierig. Das Essen ist mir ziemlich auf den Magen geschlagen, vermutlich weil ich gesehen habe, wo es herkommt. Keine Empfehlung von mir. Vielleicht sollte man das Gesundheitsamt hier Mal vorbei schicken..

The food itself tastes pretty good, BUT if you saw what was going on in the shop... just scary. Everything is dirty, it stinks, dirt everywhere you look. Please don't order anything there.

Meine Freunde und ich haben heute bestellt und die Nudel waren etwas lecker, aber die Erdnusssauce sieht nicht appetitlich aus und ist es auch nicht.

Hatte schon einige Male hier bestellt und hatte nie Grund zum Klagen, aber nach der letzten Bestellung hatte ich ca. einen Tag lang "ziemliche Bauchprobleme"...

Für mich aktuell der beste Asiate in Taunusstein! Wenn man lecker zu Hause asiatisch essen möchte dann empfehle ich hier zu bestellen, das grüne Curry ist mein Favorit! Der 5. Stern fehlt nur aufgrund zweier Kleinigkeiten 1. Man kann dort nicht essen und es könnte etwas aufgeräumter und optisch ansprechender sein 2. Keine Kartenzahlung, das sollte 2022 schon drin sein Dennoch rein für das Essen sind eigentlich auch 5 Sterne verdient

Da ich öfters beruflich in Taunusstein unterwegs bin, habe ich mir hier schon mehrfach Essen geholt. Das Essen war immer sehr lecker und die Köchin/Kassiererin ist immer sehr freundlich und symphatisch

Habe kurz hintereinander dreimal knusprige Ente im roten Curry gegessen. Das Essen ist einfach spitze

Schon mehrmals dort bestellt. Es dauert meist etwas, bis das Essen da ist, aber die Lieferanten sind immer sehr freundlich und das Essen ist wirklich super. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine telefonische Bestellung kann hier für Überraschungen sorgen, da die Dame vor Ort scheinbar nicht der deutschen Sprache mächtig ist. Die abgeholten Speisen entsprachen jedenfalls nicht dem, was wir bestellt haben. Essen an sich ist aber bisher immer gut gewesen.

Sehr lecker. Abholung hat auch prima funktioniert. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder bestellen.

Es hat rund 40 Minuten gedauert bis das Essen da war. Es war noch sehr heiß und es war sehr lecker.

Bestellung heute am 09.02.22: Bestellung gg. 20:00, Essen kam gegen 20:25. Das Essen war heiss, sehr reichlich und sehr, sehr lecker! Wirklich absolut hervorragend! Dazu ein sehr freundlicher Lieferant! Das wird definitiv wiederholt!

Leckere Sommerrollen, Veggie-Fleisch top, schnelle Lieferung, frisches Gemüse in allen bisher bestellten Gerichten. Immer wieder gerne!

Essen wie in Vietnam, sehr lecker. Besser das Essen abholen oder liefern lassen. Der leckere Vietnamese weit und breit. Das Ambiente im Restaurant lässt zu wünschen übrig. Wir holen fast jede Woche hier..

Gute Portionen. Das Gemüse war frisch geschnitten und sehr frisch. Die Sauce war sehr lecker und reichlich. Hat nach einer gesunden Mahlzeit geschmeckt. Die Lieferzeit wurde auch eingehalten. Hier bestellen wir gerne wieder.

Bestellt über Lieferando. Lieferzeit 18uhr 15 war Mega pünktlich. Essen war einfach nur richtig richtig lecker. Für 4 Personen mit zusätzlich 16stk Frühlingsrollen 35 Euro, einfach top. Die Portionen sind riesig, frisch, lecker. Weiter so.

War lecker aber ich hab noch nie einen solchen Saustall gesehen. Da klebte der Boden, alles versifft, der Putz fällt von der Wand, Flecken überall und von der Küche, die man einsehen kann möchte ich gar nicht sprechen. Wenn sich da nichts grundsätzliches ändert, sehen die mich nie wieder. Sorry, aber deutscher Standart sieht anders aus. 🙈

Ich weiß nicht was heute los war, die bestellte Suppe die sonst wirklich lecker war bestand heute aus heißem Wasser mit Gemüse, kein bisschen Geschmack. Bestellt wurde 12D und 16A bekommen haben wir dann 16D und 16A. Die Ente war trocken was auch sonst nicht der Fall war. War heute echt enttäuschend.

Das Essen ist lecker und wirklich günstig. Werde definitiv wieder bestellen. Allerdings ist es im Lokal selbst leider nicht wirklich gemütlich. Eher Imbissartig.

Sehr leckeres Essen, sehr nette Besitzer. Wäre ich öfter in Taunusstein, wäre ich dort wahrscheinlich Dauergast, zumal auch die Preise moderat sind. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Es ist nicht wirklich gemütlich, da die Sitzbänke zu hoch sind und man dadurch etwas unnatürlich am Tisch sitzt.
