What can I say...? Everything was very, very good! Really good! Perfect! The wine pairing was also good! Everyone was very friendly! The chef even reveals a few cooking secrets... if you ask ;-) I'd be happy to come back!

The food was average and unfortunately nothing special, but the prices were quite high and not justified. Service was okay, we just found it a shame that they didn't point out that the kitchen was closing, so we couldn't order any warm dessert. We then ordered an ice cream sundae with hot blueberries, unfortunately the blueberries were anything but hot and they were warmed up in the microwave, absolutely not acceptable for a restaurant. Additionally, card payment is not possible, which is quite annoying as this should be standard in a restaurant these days. The ambience was nice. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it…

I come here every time I stay in Grainau. Food super delicious! Have the best Bavarian beer. And apart from the service. That's a 10/10. You leave this restaurant in a good mood and with a full stomach. I always enjoy coming here every time I stay in Grainau!

We immediately liked our first impression. A friendly, tall waitress (Manuela) immediately showed us a nice table where we could sit down. First the positive: We ordered a pizza for two and received it in half on two plates. The taste was okay. Let's get to the negative: We were there late in the evening. The (presumably) owner and his waitress barely understood us and he gave us the impression that he already had a few beers since it was almost time for work. When we were eating, the waitress stood in the door the whole time, which we found very uncomfortable because we were sitting right next to the door and felt like we were being watched. In general we didn't feel comfortable there at all.

The service is terrible. We walked around the lake looking for a restaurant where we could eat. We also considered staying overnight in a hotel. We wanted to go to the toilet first and asked if there was a toilet here and said we could pay and would like to stay but they just said no and we had no choice but to leave. If you are a tourist who wants to enjoy nature then we do not recommend you this place. Check out all the reviews and know in advance that if you are not a hotel guest, but just a tourist, you should not go there. You will only receive condemnation and a look of dissatisfaction

I don't remember that I lacked anything in the room except insulation. The room has everything you need to eat and have a good night's sleep. There are shops nearby and it is close to the mountains.
