We were in the conservatory; the tables were beautifully set, the view was lovely, but the seating was a bit cramped. The menu was very extensive. The food arrived relatively quickly and was presented in a harmonious and appealing manner. The portions were okay (a little more wouldn't have been bad)... The value for money was spot on.

Small, out of the way restaurant in Garmisch. The food was amazing! I had the Filet vom Saibling which was so delicious! Also ordered at our table was the pork knuckle, and Venison Goulosh. All was scrumptious and highly recommend and kid/allergen friendly too!

We celebrated our wedding there this weekend with around 100 guests, and we were thrilled with the organization, the staff, and the food. The buffet more than exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. We would definitely celebrate our wedding there again. A big thank you again to Markus and his team from us and our guests.

Not highly recommended. Poor service and the food was tasteless and not worth the price. How am I supposed to order my food when the waiter snatches the menu from under my nose? The iced tea was also juice with a lot of water. Simply disappointing... If possible, I would give it 0.5 stars.

A very pleasant atmosphere and a warm welcome. There were seven of us, and everyone ordered something different. Everyone was satisfied. Despite the large portions, we managed to finish everything.

The food was delicious. The menu had both familiar German & Italian items and local Tyrol dishes. My husband and I ordered from the specials menu, and they did not disappoint. The view and ambiance were perfect.

Service is great! Very friendly and attentive despite the crowds. The food is so-so. A large portion of fries, the burger with the farm's own suckling pig... completely drowned in barbecue sauce. It's a shame, especially since the quality of the meat is so good, so I would focus on that. Unfortunately, the Trieste trifle was very limited.

Lovely locations, food and service

I can only warmly recommend everyone to come here! The venison cordon bleu was truly divine! The homemade fries were absolutely amazing! The cheese spaetzle were also perfect! The service was absolutely top-notch, and the stunning view and generous portions were perfect!

Everything was great. We had the grilled platter and a chicken pan. Both were very good and very reasonably priced. A lovely terrace and friendly staff. What more could you want?😁

We've been vacationing in Garmisch for the past four years. Toni's Alm has always been one of our favorite stops. The staff has always been friendly, and the food lives up to the positive reviews described by other guests. We wholeheartedly agree. For us, with its beautiful view of the Zugspitze, it will always be an absolute place to be! You have to let yourself be pampered here. We'll be happy to come back. Greetings from the Ruhr Valley.

We were there with the whole family on Thursday. We were served very kindly by the nice young Turkish man. Kudos to you for your patience, your good humor, your strong nerves, and the pine schnapps 👌🏼 Thanks for the amazing service despite the dropped glass and bread basket. Stay away from my dad ☝🏼😅 Otherwise, huge praise to the kitchen! We were all thoroughly impressed with the food! The ambiance was fantastic, beautiful, and tastefully decorated! And the walk to the restroom was like a short hike through the mountains with the lovingly designed stones on the stairs. The only "negative": When a salad costs as much as a pork knuckle... They should perhaps reconsider the price or the quantity of the saltea. But we would love to come back! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!

We spontaneously arrived with our baby, and were immediately offered a highchair. The service was otherwise very attentive and friendly! The menu is very varied, making it difficult to choose. The dishes we chose (pulled pork burger and creamed mushrooms) were truly excellent, and the portions were more than generous. We wanted to go back again, but unfortunately, it was a private party.

During our stay here in Grainau, we also visited the Toni Alm, and we were more than satisfied! The food, service, and ambiance were simply fantastic! We would recommend making a reservation, but we were able to get a table fairly quickly anyway.

We're currently sitting on the terrace with our dog; the staff is super friendly and attentive. A water bowl for our furry friend arrived promptly along with the menu. Absolutely recommended. We ended up there by chance, and I would go back anytime. Even without a reservation, we were immediately assigned a good table that suited our dog. Even before our drinks arrived, our furry friend received a bowl of water from the incredibly friendly staff. Great restaurant with a lovely interior, winter garden, and terrace. Very lovingly and harmoniously designed with great attention to detail. The mountain backdrop is magnificent. The homemade iced tea is incredibly delicious and refreshing. I had the Bavarian grill platter, and what can I say... each ingredient was better than the last!!! My husband had mushrooms (with bread dumplings) – I've rarely had such a tasty and successful serving. Tiramisu for dessert – divine!

Toni Alm Enjoyment is a top priority here. Before the meal, you're served a basket of asparagus and a variety of homemade spreads. We had one of the last cream of asparagus soups of the season. There's no better one in the region, if not more. The surprise alone when you lift the lid is a feast for the eyes. This authentic cream soup was garnished with a few herbs and sliced ​​croutons. But that's not all. The first spoonful is a delight. The second will make your eyes water with this explosion of flavor. There's so much attention to detail in both the food and the restaurant. The main course was cheese spaetzle. There's only one thing to say about it: yum. The portions are large and definitely worth the price. The restaurant shines with a rustic yet clean style, with loving details. 5 stars plus!

Everything was perfect (I rarely write that), very nice, fast, and friendly service. High-quality food in decent portion sizes. There are also some quite unusual creations, like venison cordon bleu with Obatzte (completely new but delicious). Prices are typical for the area and absolutely reasonable. Beer and shandy are a bit pricey, but that's no reason not to enjoy the rest to the fullest!

The cuisine is outstanding – I would particularly like to highlight the Grande Pasta Toni (a poem!) and the Kaiserschmarren, which is second to none. We had an AMAZING meal with our traveling companions at Toni Alm in the Garmisch, DE area. Cute little neighborhood restaurant with an authentic Bavarian flare! It was nice outside, but they had some small fire going for ambiance! Service was crisp for charge group, and the food and beverage operation was on point. It was a treat for the group because we were able to order from the menu, as opposed to a to a preset menu. We had the mushroom soup, the also shared the pan seared veal liver and the pizza with bacon. All were TERRIFIC. In fact, we heard nothing but praise for everything on the menu ordered that night! Awesome place, great food, impeccable service, in the heart of Bavaria! Highly recommend!

Service: Positive: Friendly, seated quickly. Contrary: A side dish was forgotten. We would have liked to order more, but after the main course, the waiter didn't come to our table. We weren't willing to wait any longer, so we paid up front and left.

I went there today around lunchtime to reserve a table for two people with my dog. The very nice manager promised me that, and what did we get in the evening? A table in the middle of the restaurant, where the waiters and customers were jumping around like they were at a train station. Unfortunately, the manager wasn't there! The food was, well, okay! Lovely for lunch, but uncomfortable in the evening (terribly loud)!

Let me start like this: It was raining and relatively chilly/cold outside. My wife and I had noticed this restaurant while hiking. It seemed rather unassuming at first, but then wow! The ambiance was simply unbeatable! The service was super friendly! The food was just what you'd imagine when you read the menu. Amazing! With the weather outside, you just wanted to sit back and enjoy it. Toni Alm surpassed that. Amazing views and subtle background music to help you unwind. Prices are like everywhere else these days. Acceptable, and with the atmosphere there, you'll gladly tip. Please keep it up.

The pork knuckle was fresh but had no seasoning or flavor but the passionfruit iced tea was decent.

We went to the Toni Alm based on a recommendation and enjoyed our last evening of vacation there. The food was fantastic and the service was very good. The restaurant is very cozy. We were also very welcome with a dog; we were given a table in a corner. Thank you for this great end to your vacation. I can fully recommend the Toni Alm.

Had dinner with 4 people today (Mother's Day 2025). The dishes were simple, simple and clearly prepared and served - in short, nothing special. In terms of taste, everything is in the lower segment, but the price has increased significantly in the last few months. The operator should think about significantly improving its price-performance ratio as quickly as possible, otherwise this restaurant will soon become orphaned. We ended the late afternoon and evening on the terrace at the Toni Alm. The ambience is a mixture of alpine gastronomy with a Mediterranean touch. Super nice service, varied and slightly different decorations on the tables and also cool glasses and dishes than you would otherwise expect. The good food really makes it a great place! Good weather and the view do the rest.

Schnitzel with asparagus - daily recommendation and you can't even manage that. The asparagus was ice cold, the schnitzel was tiny. Statement from the boss - the schnitzels are now smaller because the prices are higher in the city and the portions are smaller. Previously we were in the middle of Garmisch and the portions were large and the service was great. Absolutely not recommended.

I absolutely cannot agree with the many positive reviews - our experience was the complete opposite. The price-performance ratio is an absolute disaster. The portions were tiny, the food only came to the table lukewarm, and the taste was anything but convincing. For what you get, the prices are simply outrageous. In addition, the service was unfriendly and showed neither a smile nor a minimum of attention. Not once were we asked if everything was okay or if we were satisfied. The absolute height of audacity: There is a sign at the exit that points out that in Germany it is “usual” to tip 5-10%. This seems like a last attempt to somehow get money despite poor performance - just brazen and completely inappropriate. Conclusion: Nice location, but the rest? Pure rip-off. Once and never again.

When I changed the order from coleslaw to potato salad, both came and the potato dumplings were left out instead. My colleague had ordered a soup as a starter, which unfortunately didn't come. My girlfriend and I celebrated my 30th birthday at Toni Alm today. We actually came across the restaurant through the good Google reviews. The ambience is really very thoughtfully designed and a lot of attention was paid to detail. The menu actually offers something for every taste. The prices are fair. But the highlight of the visit was the employees. Anyone who works with so much fun and passion also puts the customer in a good mood. Keep it up!

Not recommended at all. Alsatian style tarte flambée with very stinky, spicy cheese, completely inappropriate, greasy... It wasn't on the menu. Ordered 0.5l beer for €4.60, got a 0.33l and it cost €4.80, outrageous!! Staff unfriendly, when we said at reception that we didn't have a reservation, the waitress just rolled her eyes... that's not possible!!!!!!

We had dinner there yesterday at the end of our vacation. When we came in we were warmly welcomed and the atmosphere was extremely warm, as if we were in a cozy hut. The food (venison goulash and Kaiserschmarrn) was very tasty and there was also a good portion, even the small portion of Kaiserschmarrn was the perfect size. The service was very friendly and also attentive, we will definitely come back and it is definitely worth a visit.

The ambient is really very nice. But the food was really low quality. The Montanara grill vegetable was bot really cooked. The „duck legs“ (the actually pricelist on web isn‘t the same as in the place) were dry and chewy and we had one like fish soup what hasn‘t anything to do with fish or soup.
