Absolutely mega 😍 Rarely have we eaten so well. Outstanding service. Just had the beef tartare, cheese fondue and Kaiserschmarrn. Absolutely outstanding quality and taste.

Super nice restaurant “Alm” with a cozy atmosphere. Nice waiters, great service and the food comes super quickly! The quality of the food is excellent, large portions, beautifully presented. The choice between burgers and classic alpine dishes. Also suitable for vegetarians. A personal recommendation are the suckling pig and the dumplings. We'll be back.

Toni Alm is a gem of a place. My toddlers and I ate here for lunch. It was off season so we got a seat outside with no wait. I ate one of the best salads I’ve had in Bavaria, and I was envious of the burger brought to the table next to us. Between its physical atmosphere, tucked under the Alpspitze, and its warm, kid-friendly, lodge feel, Toni Alm does not disappoint!

The food is delicious and the service is amazing...you feel warmly welcomed as soon as you are assigned a table...an honest manner and you don't have the feeling of being a bother at all. Very satisfied overall and worth at least 10 stars. And thank you very much for the 3 Prosecco 😄 We would love to come back 😊 Many thanks to this great team from Toni Alm 🙏🏻

Instead of fried potatoes, baked potatoes are served, Schnitzel breading is larger than the actual schnitzel. Not worth €30. Schnitzel tastes like old fat. Definitely not recommended.

The food was excellent, the waitress was very nice, the atmosphere was so cozy that you felt at home. It's just a little too warm. You could perhaps add a little less salad to Brim Tiroler Tris.

We had dinner there on Sunday. The atmosphere is great, sitting outside on the terrace is really great. Inside wasn't really our thing because the house cat runs around freely in the restaurant. I find it rather inappropriate for a restaurant. About the food: We had 3 dishes. The duck breast was really good. The Wiener Schnitzel was nothing at all - completely overdone and not satisfactory in terms of size for a good €32. Maybe we were just unlucky, but for the price I just expect more. For dessert there was a Kaiserschmarrn, which was unfortunately completely soaked in Amaretto (?), so that the pieces were really heavy and the whole Schmarrn was completely dark. Not good at all, not our taste at all. So in the end we ate much better at many other restaurants for €90. Update: Due to the comment from I deduct another star from the owner: You should accept objectively expressed criticism and respond in a more customer-friendly manner. The comparison with the permitted dogs is extremely flawed because they lie on a leash at/under the table with their owners and do NOT run like cats through the entire dining room and lie on window sills or run over benches. Personally (everyone has their own opinion on this) I find this disgusting in a restaurant. And about your “organic quality”: Here too there is good and bad. We then probably caught the second one and unfortunately didn't notice it at all, it really wasn't good at all in contrast to the duck breast.

The restaurant has a great ambience and the food is expensive but incredibly tasty. Unfortunately, when I asked whether the food was gluten-free (I have a severe intolerance), the older waitress almost smugly assured me that it was of course gluten-free. It was only when I asked another very nice and helpful waiter that it came out that it was of course not gluten-free. An alternative was brought to me, but I still ate something. You should actually be able to rely on the waitress's statement. It wouldn't be a shame to ask the kitchen again if you're not sure, but please don't do that! So everyone with intolerances should be careful!

We were on holiday in Garmisch this week and went to Tonis Alm twice because we liked it so much. The service is great. As soon as you sit at the table, a bread basket with delicious dips arrives to satisfy your first hunger pangs. And our dogs were immediately provided with fresh water 😊 The staff is very attentive without being intrusive, and special requests are easily addressed. The food selection is great, there is something for everyone. The price-performance ratio is right. We didn't have to wait long for the food and it tasted fantastic. This restaurant is one of the best we have ever eaten at. Many thanks to the entire team for these two wonderful evenings. We would love to come back 😊👍👍👍

We went there for dinner for the second time this year. The quality of the food was, again, great, the service was great, very attentive staff. The sanitary facilities were very clean.

Our tour had a BEAUTIFUL experience at this gorgeous spot. The food, service and view of the Zugspietze was phenomenal. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for a nice, quiet lunch at a rustic spot.

We went spontaneously at lunchtime without a reservation and got a seat straight away. The employees there were super friendly and made you feel really comfortable. The location was also great, we had a great view. The restaurant is in a great location. Plus, the food is super tasty. Very authentic! Price performance top. I would have loved to eat the Kaiserschmarren, but I was so full. I can only recommend it.

Our visit to the Toni Alm was excellent. While many in the region only pay for the view, here the price/performance ratio is right and, above all, it tastes fresh and delicious and not like instant sauce. Location top & cozy, service quick, courteous and friendly. We'll be back!

A very well-kept, modern restaurant! We ate the knuckle and cheese spaetzle. The cheese spaetzle were very tasty, spicy and handmade. There was also a decent salad plate. The knuckle was super crispy, very tender and really juicy! The sauce tasted like grandma's! 5 stars, I can't say more!

The Alm has a really nice atmosphere, very nicely decorated and not too rustic. We were there in the afternoon on a rainy day and there was nothing going on except for two other guests. Even when it's busy, it's not cramped because the tables aren't close together. It has a very large indoor area, but also a beautiful outdoor terrace with a view of the mountains. The portions are a good size, you'll definitely be full. The Kaiserschmarrn there is also a 10/10. Absolutely recommended!

My wife called 2-3 weeks in advance to make a reservation for our wedding anniversary -- reservation was confirmed however when we showed up we were greeted with a cold "we're closed" with no explanation or apology despite explaining our situation. Sign out in front said there was a private event -- at least have the curtesy to inform your guests if you must cancel a reservation. --In response to the owner, our reservation was for a Tuesday night

Good evening, we were with you yesterday and ate and drank, the food was not good, loveless and stale! If I get two main courses in the restaurant within 5 minutes, something is wrong. But the funny thing is her threatening the lawyer. And another thing, when you come to your place and go through the door and find such a mess (office) at the table on the left, you don't feel like it anymore anyway. Greetings and stop threatening.

The location is 10 out of 10, very close to Garmisch city center yet has its own peace and distance. Directly in front of the Alps mountain and the cute train is driving by once in a while. You can forget everything here and just enjoy the moment. Food is in very big portion, quite fancy considering it is serving German food. The wild menu is amazing with selections.

For us it was the best restaurant we visited during our vacation in Grainau. All the employees were super friendly and very accommodating. There were even treats for our dog. The ambience was wonderful and the food was simply great. We always enjoy coming here.

Went to eat as a school class in the economy. All I can say is: everything is great. I ate a pork knuckle which was perfectly crispy and soft. Staff also very nice and friendly. A recommendation for everyone!

We came across the Toni Alm by chance today and it was incredibly great and delicious! A very cozy atmosphere where you can only feel good! The service was great and everyone was very friendly. The food was delicious, whether it was fish or meat, it was perfect! We had two small dogs with us and that wasn't a problem at all, on the contrary :) So we'll be happy to come back and can only recommend it!!!

Tonis Alm named after the super cute Bengal cat is super great. A little inconspicuous from the outside, but when you get closer you will be very surprised. Super lovingly furnished and decorated. Great service. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Clear recommendation.

It was raining and it was warm in the winter garden. Service nice. Some of the food is not of sufficient quality. Currywurst in parts inferior. Also outdated tacos.

We went there twice this holiday. A nice atmosphere and super friendly service. The food was very tasty If we spend our vacation here again, there is no way around the Toni Alm. And.....I think the bottles for the wine spritzer are great!!

The three of us had dinner here. The food was perfect. The waiters are very friendly here. The furnishings are rustic/modern. I strongly recommend reserving a table in advance. We will definitely come back here on our next vacation. And just to mention, since it's often not possible in this area, it is possible to pay by card here.

That was nothing anymore!!! Last year we had the feeling that our previously favorite restaurant in Garmisch had declined. But this year it was underground. It took less than 5 minutes for us to have our food. That, I think, says it all. The salad with fried chicken was so small that my husband ate bread at home and my cheese spaetzle was as tasteless and dry as I have ever eaten in my life.

We were looking forward to a lovely, cozy evening in Tonis Alm. First of all, our reserved table wasn't ready yet and we had to wait outside (in the rain) for our previously ordered table. The drinks and ordering went well and smoothly at first, but then came the nasty surprise - the food. When the food came, there were no previously ordered sweet potato fries with my burger, but only limp fries dripping with grease on my plate. When I asked the waitress about the fries that had been delivered in error, she said that the sweet potato fries were out of stock; However, the waiter had not pointed this out to me beforehand. The waiter hastily cleared the plates while I was still chewing and quickly saved my burger bun from the plate. Due to the lack of service, we decided against tipping, which the waiter was clearly displeased with.

We came across the Toni Alm by chance and are very happy about it. You can expect a very cozy, chic rustic atmosphere, good service, a beautiful location and delicious food. See for yourself! Our highlight were the cheese spaetzle, the Toni Gröstl and the apple strudel. Unfortunately we are not from here, but it was such a great experience that it will be worth traveling here again!

Great location, we came because of the vegan selection. My friend's burger was ok, my tarte flambée was the worst, driest and most expensive tarte flambée I've ever had in my life. The food here was definitely not worth the money. The service is very attentive but also chaotic and the food took a long time. We're not coming anymore.

The restaurant impresses with its cozy, rustic atmosphere and authentic Bavarian cuisine. The dishes are prepared with fresh and local ingredients. The view of the mountains from the terrace is particularly breathtaking. Although the prices are slightly higher, the quality and experience justify it. Recommended for an alpine dining experience.

Complained loudly about everything throughout our entire visit, was very unpleasant in his choice of words and rude to his (very nice) staff. Maybe he should drink less wine + complain and help out more if so much bothers him...

You can look forward to suckling pig, delicious, juicy and fresh. Nothing, dead dry and nicely put in sauce. Wienerschnitzel with fried potatoes for 30 euros and you think that at least it should work. Also nothing. Schnitzel dark brown breading and the potatoes so tasteless but also dark brown in color. And now BBQ plate. There are 4 grill stations outside and they should probably be able to do BBQ there. Oh no. Neck steak came from the xxxxl marinated plastic package. You didn't want to try it based on the smell alone. Pulled pork ok but cold on a plate. The baked potato only went down half. Then you already have the plate full of meat juice and put the cole saw salad in a glass bowl on top of the brawn. It was probably our first time there and the view is really great and the service was very friendly but then a cocktail bar with a great view from the shed instead of a meal like that. But there are always some who like it or like we stay seated and eat something because we're hungry and on a long journey with children.... Oh and it's always a shame that the look and hygiene of the toilet are not valued here either. But at least the tables are beautifully decorated 😂 but for the last time. Don't plan a major event there! We called the Toni Alm, were there twice and wrote emails. Everything was set for our get-together celebration (the day before the wedding) for 40-60 guests. We had even printed and sent out invitations. Then the shock: About 3 months in advance, the Toni Alm canceled us “due to the economic situation”. After several emails (some of them political), one thing became clear through a phone call from my sister: They had gotten another, apparently larger event in on the same day and kicked us out. We were totally disappointed and had big problems afterwards. First of all, find a location for the setting just 3 months in advance...and of course we had to inform all guests again. Therefore: Don't rely on the Toni-Alm and don't plan any major events there!

Totally unprofessional and unreliable for events. Just don't plan on celebrating here with a larger group! We made reservations half a year in advance for 60 people to celebrate the eve of our wedding with relaxed a la carte eating and drinking. They canceled on us 2 months beforehand with the reason that they had to close their business. We then found out that they were probably having a wedding and preferred other guests who were probably paying more than us. Of course, it is then almost impossible to find an alternative location that can accommodate so many people. The communication with the boss was very unprofessional.

The Toni Alm is located right next to the valley stations of the Alpspitzbahn and Kreuzeckbahn. The view of the Zugspitze massif is fantastic. There is indoor dining and a beer garden. The atmosphere is very Alpine / Bavarian, but at the same time modern / stylish. The landlord and they are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. There is a wide selection of drinks and food. There is plenty of parking nearby, access is largely barrier-free and prices are reasonable. I strongly recommend making a reservation in advance as the Toni Alm is very popular.

Located just under the gondola, the terrace offers a splendid view of the mountain and the valley. Attentive and very responsive service, a little too much even, which makes you doubt that it is homemade. Being served a few moments after ordering is nice when you are hungry but you immediately regret it when faced with undercooked pork shank and industrial fries... In my opinion, it is better to enjoy the deck chairs while having a drink and a snack than spending a meal budget here.

After half an hour we left again, the service team was completely overwhelmed.

Toni Alm offers a wonderful culinary experience with high-quality dishes. Although it can be pricey, like the small Kaiserschmarrn for 12 euros, the taste and presentation are excellent. The employees are friendly and make your visit pleasant. Their hospitality contributes to the positive atmosphere of the restaurant. Parking is convenient with a car park nearby for 5 euros. The breathtaking view completes the experience. If your budget allows, Toni Alm is definitely a place to consider for a delicious meal in beautiful surroundings.

A real insider tip if you are in the area. Absolutely a must!
