That was nothing anymore!!! Last year we had the feeling that our previously favorite restaurant in Garmisch had declined. But this year it was underground. It took less than 5 minutes for us to have our food. That, I think, says it all. The salad with fried chicken was so small that my husband ate bread at home and my cheese spaetzle was as tasteless and dry as I have ever eaten in my life.

We went there spontaneously the first time and had to go again on vacation. Great restaurant with good food

After descending from the Alpine peak, five of us went to Toni's Alm Essen. The food was great. Staff friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back.

We were looking forward to a lovely, cozy evening in Tonis Alm. First of all, our reserved table wasn't ready yet and we had to wait outside (in the rain) for our previously ordered table. The drinks and ordering went well and smoothly at first, but then came the nasty surprise - the food. When the food came, there were no previously ordered sweet potato fries with my burger, but only limp fries dripping with grease on my plate. When I asked the waitress about the fries that had been delivered in error, she said that the sweet potato fries were out of stock; However, the waiter had not pointed this out to me beforehand. The waiter hastily cleared the plates while I was still chewing and quickly saved my burger bun from the plate. Due to the lack of service, we decided against tipping, which the waiter was clearly displeased with.

We came across the Toni Alm by chance and are very happy about it. You can expect a very cozy, chic rustic atmosphere, good service, a beautiful location and delicious food. See for yourself! Our highlight were the cheese spaetzle, the Toni Gröstl and the apple strudel. Unfortunately we are not from here, but it was such a great experience that it will be worth traveling here again!

Great location, we came because of the vegan selection. My friend's burger was ok, my tarte flambée was the worst, driest and most expensive tarte flambée I've ever had in my life. The food here was definitely not worth the money. The service is very attentive but also chaotic and the food took a long time. We're not coming anymore.

The restaurant impresses with its cozy, rustic atmosphere and authentic Bavarian cuisine. The dishes are prepared with fresh and local ingredients. The view of the mountains from the terrace is particularly breathtaking. Although the prices are slightly higher, the quality and experience justify it. Recommended for an alpine dining experience.

Food was delicious, service was very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the evening was made rather unpleasant by the boss at the next table. Complained loudly about everything throughout our entire visit, was very unpleasant in his choice of words and rude to his (very nice) staff. Maybe he should drink less wine + complain and help out more if so much bothers him...

Very bad service, they didn't notice us at all...

You can look forward to suckling pig, delicious, juicy and fresh. Nothing, dead dry and nicely put in sauce. Wienerschnitzel with fried potatoes for 30 euros and you think that at least it should work. Also nothing. Schnitzel dark brown breading and the potatoes so tasteless but also dark brown in color. And now BBQ plate. There are 4 grill stations outside and they should probably be able to do BBQ there. Oh no. Neck steak came from the xxxxl marinated plastic package. You didn't want to try it based on the smell alone. Pulled pork ok but cold on a plate. The baked potato only went down half. Then you already have the plate full of meat juice and put the cole saw salad in a glass bowl on top of the brawn. It was probably our first time there and the view is really great and the service was very friendly but then a cocktail bar with a great view from the shed instead of a meal like that. But there are always some who like it or like we stay seated and eat something because we're hungry and on a long journey with children.... Oh and it's always a shame that the look and hygiene of the toilet are not valued here either. But at least the tables are beautifully decorated 😂 but for the last time. Totally unprofessional and unreliable for events. Just don't plan on celebrating here with a larger group! We made reservations half a year in advance for 60 people to celebrate the eve of our wedding with relaxed a la carte eating and drinking. They canceled on us 2 months beforehand with the reason that they had to close their business. We then found out that they were probably having a wedding and preferred other guests who were probably paying more than us. Of course, it is then almost impossible to find an alternative location that can accommodate so many people. The communication with the boss was very unprofessional.

Don't plan a major event there! We called the Toni Alm, were there twice and wrote emails. Everything was set for our get-together celebration (the day before the wedding) for 40-60 guests. We had even printed and sent out invitations. Then the shock: About 3 months in advance, the Toni Alm canceled us “due to the economic situation”. After several emails (some of them political), one thing became clear through a phone call from my sister: They had gotten another, apparently larger event in on the same day and kicked us out. We were totally disappointed and had big problems afterwards. First of all, find a location for the setting just 3 months in advance...and of course we had to inform all guests again. Therefore: Don't rely on the Toni-Alm and don't plan any major events there!

The Toni Alm is located right next to the valley stations of the Alpspitzbahn and Kreuzeckbahn. The view of the Zugspitze massif is fantastic. There is indoor dining and a beer garden. The atmosphere is very Alpine / Bavarian, but at the same time modern / stylish. The landlord and they are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. There is a wide selection of drinks and food. There is plenty of parking nearby, access is largely barrier-free and prices are reasonable. I strongly recommend making a reservation in advance as the Toni Alm is very popular.

Located just under the gondola, the terrace offers a splendid view of the mountain and the valley. Attentive and very responsive service, a little too much even, which makes you doubt that it is homemade. Being served a few moments after ordering is nice when you are hungry but you immediately regret it when faced with undercooked pork shank and industrial fries... In my opinion, it is better to enjoy the deck chairs while having a drink and a snack than spending a meal budget here.

After half an hour we left again, the service team was completely overwhelmed.

Toni Alm offers a wonderful culinary experience with high-quality dishes. Although it can be pricey, like the small Kaiserschmarrn for 12 euros, the taste and presentation are excellent. The employees are friendly and make your visit pleasant. Their hospitality contributes to the positive atmosphere of the restaurant. Parking is convenient with a car park nearby for 5 euros. The breathtaking view completes the experience. If your budget allows, Toni Alm is definitely a place to consider for a delicious meal in beautiful surroundings.

We ate at the Tonialm several times during our vacation. We particularly liked the ambience. We were warmly welcomed and our dog was immediately given water and even something to chew on. The service was quick and attentive. The food (burgers, soups, Kaiserschmarrn) was very, very tasty! When we are in Garmisch-Partenkirchen again, we will come back!

Very inconspicuous from the outside, but it's worth it. Very cozy little hut with delicious food. Flammkuchen and Kaiserschmarren are highly recommended. Friendly service.

The food (suckling pig and knuckle) was great and the atmosphere was also very nice with a view of the mountains and the countryside. The service was also super friendly and even gave treats for the dog, but when we spread our beer on the table (wasp) we didn't get any help despite asking. All in all, highly recommended.

You sit in the winter garden or on the terrace with a great view of the countryside or the mountains! Great atmosphere!! The food was very tasty and the staff was always nice to the guests. Only among themselves the service had a somewhat harsher tone. There are some free parking spaces in front of the building.

We had dinner here. The Wienerschnitzel (original veal) with fries was really tasty and well prepared. The forest mushroom soup and thread soup also. Unfortunately, some of the Kaiserschmarrn was slightly burnt and soggy (not our case). But it was fine The view and the ambience are great. The waiter was very friendly. Unfortunately, I had the feeling that after the food was served, you were a bit out of your mind. But then it became increasingly crowded. Still a clear recommendation. Card payment is possible.

Ambience great. Service from the waiter was all great. Slightly overwhelmed with a large group, it was sorted out, but the boss himself wasn't. He became a little unfriendly. Therefore the service only has 3 stars. And eating wasn't bad.

We found this restaurant online and drove to try it out while staying in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. What a cute, delightful setting and ambiance. The view is incredible! The servers were very friendly, and the food was excellent! Our family had a delicious dinner, and we enjoyed our time there very much!

Very beautiful location, both for outdoor and indoor seating area. Nice interior and comfortable seats. Menu with good variety available, some dishes on the more expensive side but the local Alpine cuisine is well priced and tastes good. Apfelschorle came in a very big size, also really good!

This restaurant was great. I was there with a large group and everyone enjoyed there food. The service was ok and friendly. We were a large group but each group ordered by table only after the last group received there food, so 1st table finished eating about the same time last table was ordering. Thought that could have been handled better so we could all be eating at around the same time but I do understand we were a large group. The restaurant location was good and outside the main area. We would definitely return to eat at this restaurant.

Great restaurant, absolute recommendation, a small minus point: they were perhaps asked too often if you wanted something else and then unfortunately they didn't agree with each other who was already with the guest, but otherwise great, you also get a little something from the restaurant in advance as a token of attention.

I rarely write reviews, but I'm happy to make an exception for the Toni Alm. We ate extremely well and with high quality, were served attentively and friendly and felt very comfortable in the restaurant. The Bavarian-rustic and at the same time very stylish furnishings with fireplace and candlelight also contributed to this, so we would have liked to stay here all day.

Location: In the breathtaking foothills of the Alps with a view of the mountains (almost) all around. Interior/ambience: Bavarian economy made modern without seeming pretentious or inauthentic. Cozy and pleasant. Food: Mostly traditional Bavarian food. All five members of our group got large portions and loved the food. Service: The staff were friendly and relaxed; Food and drinks arrived quickly. At the end the waitress forgot a schnapps, but it was on the house, so no complaints about that. Bonus: There was a cat present! She is part of the staff, is very sweet and has stayed in the background. Conclusion: As connoisseurs of Bavarian cuisine from the surrounding districts, we rate the food as exceptionally good and were very impressed by the atmosphere. We will definitely drive another 50 minutes to get to this restaurant. Hello and meow!

Located right next to the valley station of the Alpspitzbahn. ---- ----- We're happy again here in this lovely area and it's a MUST to stop off at the TONI Alm. Yesterday, April 14th, 2024, we sat on the beautiful terrace in the evening in the exceptional April summer weather and ate another delicious meal. Service (2 very friendly waiters) courteous, attentive and up for a joke, suckling pig was turning on the grill and later we enjoyed it on our plates^^. Side dishes all fresh and very tasty. Interior rustic, modern and cozy. As an entrée, fresh bread with various spreads on colorful plates is well received. We can recommend the TONI Alm without reservation, we have known it from our winter holidays since 2019 - it is and remains a favorite place for us. Keep that.

Food and ambience at its best ☺️. The blonde lady (waiter) has a big and unfriendly mouth. With sayings such as: : If you want to order something else or if I have to walk twice, it's difficult to find regular customers. And nicknames for guests such as: Schatzi, spatzl or snail are also a no go. The food is fresh and tasty and the atmosphere is very themed (positive 😊).

Very friendly service that received the criticism of the burger incredibly well. The ambience is unique with a view of the mountains. My meal was good except for the side salad, as the tomato was a bit overdone. The vegan burger is great in concept, but there should be a sauce on it so that the burger has more taste. Otherwise really recommended, as the service in particular makes you feel very pleasant.

Disgusting service!!! The catastrophically unfriendly blond Frau threw the menu on the table. And before that there was simply ignoring and a nervous answer to the question about the the possibility of seating at the table. Of course there was no desire to stay there! Perhaps her hostility was based on the fact that we spoke a different language to each other. But I categorically do not recommend visiting this place if you don’t want to ruin your mood!

If you like suckling pig from the wood fire grill, you have to go here! And if you've never tried it, you have to go there to try it. I'll just say this much; It was the best dinner I've ever had in my lifetime. The ambience is great. The service is great, friendly and available for a fun chat. The knuckle is also recommended! If we are in the corner again we will 100% come back!
