We spent a lovely last evening in Grainau in the Molle. The food was delicious, Simone is just so warm, you immediately feel at home. Reservation is recommended. We would love to come back!

Thank you ! We couldn't get a seat outside without a reservation, but we got a seat inside and were able to avoid the wasps 🙃! The dog wasn't a problem inside either, which was great! Eating and drinking there was very tasty! You won't make a mistake here if you decide to visit! In addition, super nice and attentive service, despite all the seats being occupied!

A must when you are in Grainau. Simone and her colleagues run the store with flying colors. No matter how busy or stressful it is, you never lose your good mood. The food is very tasty. Big portion. You get full. Be sure to reserve.

Unfortunately I have to say that the price/performance ratio is zero....had the robber schnitzel and have to say that it was ready fried potatoes, ready schnitzel...sorry but to then charge over €20 for that is pretty cheeky

I'm so glad to have been recommended this place. The landlady is so warm and friendly, something you rarely experience. I would like to see a wider selection of vegetarian dishes, but what can you do? Unfortunately, the cuisine in general seems to be lacking in this area Cheese spaetzle, spinach dumplings and Kaiserschmarrn should be limited. These are always very tasty. Same here. I'm already looking forward to my next visit here.

Reservation is recommended. Food tasted wonderful. I missed dishes without meat. The salad with house dressing was very fresh and tasty. Service very nice and attentive.

Uriges, typisch bayrisches Lokal mit gut bürgerlicher Küche. Wer auf klassische bayrische Gerichte steht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Egal ob Schnitzel in verschiedenen Variationen, Wildgerichte oder die typische gegrillte Schweinshaxe - alles frisch zubereitet und in top Qualität. Da gibt es nichts zu meckern! Vor allem, da auch die Preise als fair zu bewerten sind. Die Mädels vom Service sind absolut aufmerksam, verstehen ihren Service und haben den „Laden“ im Griff. Kann man klar empfehlen. Wer auf Nummer sicher geht, der reserviert im Voraus.

We were looking forward to a Bavarian knuckle early on and went to the restaurant full of curiosity. The knuckle came and we were very satisfied. It was really nice and crusty and delicious. The service was very friendly and we felt very comfortable. Everything was "GREAT".

Grainau Zugspitze is a lovely place where you can unwind. There are offers with swimming pools, mini golf and excursions supported with the Zugspitzbahn near the Molle restaurant. You should reserve seats in the Molle, which opens from 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday closed. You can also be lucky if you stop in a little later. Food is very tasty. We received a very warm welcome. We were 4 adults and were able to cater for ourselves in a kitchen-living room. Two bedrooms are sufficiently furnished and two separate toilets, one with a bathroom and not forgetting a balcony. The car can also be parked.

Very easily the best food we had in Germany. The Rauberschnitzel was absolutely amazing with great fries. Even though the kitchen had just closed, the fantastic staff offered to make us some food. Their vanilla ice-cream with raspberry purée on top was a perfect end to a perfect meal. To our mistake we hadn’t read the sign that said “cash only” and the owner was so patient and showed us to the close by ATM so we could pull some cash. She was so welcoming and very easily the nicest person I have ever met. We will definitely be coming here again the next time we are in Germany.

Small and nice, you can always find a place in this restaurant. However, it makes sense to reserve in advance. The grilled knuckle and the venison goulash were great! Yummy. The landlady puts a smile on everyone's face with her sunny manner. I would love to come back there again.

Anlässlich eine Urlaubs in Grainau sind wir zwei Mal in der „Molle“ zum Abendessen eingekehrt und waren sehr zufrieden.Die Speisen und Getränke waren sehr lecker und preislich angemessen. Der Service war außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Atmosphäre in dem relativ kleinen, gemütlichen Lokal war sehr familiär. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Sollten wir nochmal nach Grainau kommen, würden wir sicher wieder die „Molle“ aufsuchen.

We arrived in Grainau in the evening on Weiberfastnacht and, after the Spatzenhäus'l was unfortunately closed, we went to the "Molle", where we were given a very friendly welcome and a place was made available for us, even though it was really full - nice! After we decided on the -really manageable- menu for schnitzel "Viennese style" (instead of fries with fried potatoes, reordered), spaghetti and a small salad (which was explicitly recommended to us!) and ordered a SMALL beer and a juice spritzer, we waited we now of the things that might come there! First of all, we were in this restaurant twice that day, the first and the last time. The fact that the size of the schnitzel barely fits a child's plate is one thing, that the fried potatoes - just like the fries - came out of the deep fryer (thin as chips) and were still charged at an additional cost - that's a bad joke in itself , the whole thing is unpleasantly completed by the spaghetti that is literally drowned in garlic and cooked too soft and a beer price of € 3.60 for the 0.25 l glass - that's just outrageous (and especially a glass size that is in Bavaria anything but usual)! When the bill was brought (e.g. really very small, side salad of average quality = € 5.50) it was clear to us that we couldn't go there anymore! We were already guests in Grainau at Christmas time and are simply horrified by the pricing policy that is being displayed here - obviously you can expect guests from outside to do that! Even if you can easily afford things, such outrageous behavior is very offensive and spoils any enjoyment of the thing! Both my wife and I really appreciate quality, craftsmanship and service, but we can only disapprove of rip-offs!

We used to always sit outside in the summer and were actually generally happy. Now indoors in winter, not the same. Paid €60 for a mushy schnitzel and a trout with two drinks, not cheap. We'll probably come again in the summer👍

Great place to eat, drink, and be merry. We stumbled upon this place while aimlessly walking through town on a cold and snowy night and could not have been happier with the warm and cozy atmosphere and the delicious food. We went back the night after and we did not regret our decision! I’ll be dreaming of pork knuckle and pear Schnaps for years to come.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, angenehmes Ambiente, freundliche Bedienung und die besten Germknödel mit Vanillesoße und Latte Macchiato.

Wir waren im Rahmes unserer einwöchigen Urlaubs zweimal dort Essen. Es gibt unserer Meinung nach kein besseres Restaurant in Grainau. Sowohl die familiäre Atmosphäre, als auch die Speisen an sich sind 1a. Definitiv uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!

Klare Empfehlung von mir: die Haxe und der Schweinsbraten. Service freundlich und fürsorglich. Danke an Simone und ihr team.

Wir waren das erste mal in diesem Restaurant da wir hier Urlaub machen und waren positiv überrascht. Sehr nette Menschen die uns bedient haben und gemütliches Ambiente. Hinzu kam das es ein vegetarisches und veganes Gericht gab. Das vegane Gericht war sehr lecker. Salate waren auch sehr lecker! Vielen Dank und einen erholsamen Urlaub!

Ein absolut uriger Wohlfühlort. Wir sind eher zufällig in die "Zur Molle" gestolpert, aber man merkt, dass sich jeder Gast hier wohlfühlt, dank einer tollen "persönlichen" Bedienung. Das Lokal ist eher klein und man wird zum Ganzen mit den anderen Gästen, was aber schön und nicht aufdringlich war In unserem Fall war es, trotz lockerer Stimmung, nicht laut! Das Essen war auch sehr lecker. Also eine absolute Empfehlung meinerseits! 👍

Das Restaurant ist sehr schön gestaltet und hat eine tolle Position. Das Essen ist sehr lecker man hat zwar nicht so eine große Auswahl aber das essen macht satt. Der Service ist einfach nur super die Kellner sind sehr nett und freundlich. Das Essen wir auch gleichzeitig und relativ schnell serviert.

Wir sind spontan eingekehrt und hatten einen tollen Abend mit sehr leckeren Essen! Gulasch und Krustenbraten waren sowas von lecker und der Service einfach super! Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen beim nächsten Besuch in Grainau definitiv wieder!

Ein sehr schönes und typisch bayerisches Restaurant. Ich habe dort schon viele Gerichte gegessen und jedes war von bester Qualität. Da gibt es wirklich nichts zu beanstanden. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und sogar ein wenig familiär. Man fühlt sich von Anfang an sehr wohl und ist in einer tollen Atmosphäre. Man hat die Möglichkeit drinnen oder draußen zu sitzen. Für mich persönlich ist es das beste Restaurant in der Umgebung und die 5 Sterne aufjedenfall wert. Danke für die schöne Zeit die ich bisher bei euch verbringen durfte. Gerne komme ich wieder bei euch vorbei.

Wir waren letzte Woche 2×, 1× am Mittwoch und 1 × Samstag und beide mal war es top. Man dühl sich hier richtig wohl, sa die Bedienungen sehr freundlich und zuvorkommende, trotzdem großem Stress. Liebevoll familiengeführtes Restaurant mit Außenterrasse. Oma und Vater in der Küche und Mutter und Tochter im Service. Kleine Karte (an bestimmten Tagen immer Haxe und Krustenbraten). Sehr gut gefülltes Restaurant, Gemisch aus Touristen :) und Einheimischen Was uns besonders aufgefallen ist, die Souveränität und Gelassenheit der beiden Ladys im Service. Trotz wartenden, hungrigen und zwischenzeitlich meckernden Urlauber-Gästen, die reserviert hatten, wurde professionell reagiert und agiert. Hier versteht jemand seinen Beruf ! Das Essen war super lecker, überwiegend bayrische Rezepte, vegetarisch Alternativen etc. Wir kommen nächste Woche wieder ;) Unbedingt reservieren!

Grandios! Ein Familienbetrieb der dies sehr gemütlich und freundlich ausstrahlt. Wir waren in unseren 5 Tagen 2 mal hier und würden es wieder tun. Das Essen war perfekt, frisch, lecker und war typisch bayrisch. Ein Gedicht wie man es sich wünscht.

First trip in 2.5 years. Locals steered us to the charming Bavarian restaurant. We ate outside with splendid view of the mountains. I had Weiner schnitzel. Perfectly prepared. Service was friendly. Beer selection was on limited side.

Wir haben nachmittags kurzfristig reserviert und haben noch einen Tisch draußen bekommen. Das Essen (Pommes mit Schnitzel Wiener Art) war wirklich klasse, gut gesalzene Pommes, gute Portionsgröße und ein zartes Schnitzel. Und wirklich freundliche Bedienungen! Trotz super hohem Gastaufkommen ein Lächeln auf dem Gesicht und versucht alles möglich zu machen! Direkt wieder reserviert :-).

Super leckeres frisches Essen, sehr freundliche Bedienungen und am Ende einen Schnaps aufs Haus. Waren über Pfingsten gleich 2 mal dort.

Auf der gemütlichen Terrasse schmeckte uns unser Abendessen sehr sehr gut. Der Service ist hervorragend und das Personal, sowie die Chefin sind außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit! Ein Extralob dafür!!! Wir fühlten uns rundherum wohl und das Essen war spitze!!!
