Wirklich sehr sehr leckeres Essen und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Tolle Lage noch dazu. Sehr zu empfehlen

Wir waren spontan da und haben noch einen Tisch drinnen ergattern können. Idealerweise reserviert man hier aber. Es war w.irklich richtig viel los, dennoch waren alle Servicekräfte sehr freundlich und lustig drauf und unser Essen ging sehr schnell. Essen war sehr lecker und die Karte ist durch die Bayerischen und kroatischen Speisen abwechslungsreich. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir kamen um 18:30 Uhr an, aber die Straße war leer, daher waren alle Tische ausgebucht. Um 19:20 Uhr waren allerdings drei Tische frei. Die Bedienung an der Bar war nicht sehr freundlich. Essen: 4/5 Die Fliegen im Zimmer haben uns gestört.

Das Essen bekommt jede Hausfrau besser hin. Jägerschnitzel war fest bis zäh, Soße etwas versalzen ansonsten langweilig, Spätzle angebraten und auch langweilig. Das Lokal selbst ist in die Jahre gekommen. Der Service war im allgemeinen nett. Leider keine Kartenzahlung.

Essen war mittelmäßig, Pommes hätten gerne noch ein paar Minuten in der Fritteuse vertragen, Fleisch war trocken. Reis zu weich

Wir haben köstlich gegessen! Die Terrasse bietet eine wunderschöne Aussicht, der Service war gut und die Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten groß. Sehr empfehlenswert, wenn Sie in Grainau (oder in der Nähe) sind.

Großartiges Essen auf einer wunderschönen Terrasse. Ich kann einen Besuch nur wärmstens empfehlen, falls Sie in der Gegend sind. Die Desserts waren ebenfalls unglaublich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn ich das nächste Mal in der Gegend bin! Sie akzeptieren auch Kartenzahlung, was ein riesiger Pluspunkt ist!

Wenn Du in Grainau bist kann ich nur sagen hingehen und nochmals hingehen.Tolle und geschmackvolle Gerichte zu einen fairen Preis. Ein Tipp: Vorab reservieren da halt immer gut besucht was die Qualität ja dann auch bestätigt.

Waren jetzt über das Wochenende in Grainau und sind im Jägerstüberl nach langer Höllentalklamm Wanderung eingekehrt. Sicherlich auch wegen den vorherigen Bewertungen in Sachen Knoblauchsuppe! Wurden absolut nicht enttäuscht! Das Essen war mehr als ausreichend, sehr schmackhaft, frisch zubereitet und von sehr guter Qualität! Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und die Bedienung prompt! Trotz vollem Haus dauerte es nicht sehr lange bis das Essen gekommen ist und es gab zum Abschluss sogar einen Espresso (wahlweise Schnaps) auf Kosten des Hauses dazu. Fantastisch! Leider haben wir nicht vorher reserviert, was einen Tisch im Freien unmöglich machte, aber das war auch ganz gut so, denn gefühlt war es im Restaurant angenehmer als draußen (30Grad +). Wenn wir wieder einmal in Grainau sind, kehren wir zu 100% wieder ein! Daumen hoch! 100/100 Punkte!

Ein Restaurant, das ob seines überbordenden Besucher-Zulaufs eigentlich keine weitere gute Bewertung mehr benötigt… Im Jägerstüberl findet man herzliche Gastgeber, gutes Essen, leckeres Bier(!) und die Bereitschaft auch Kundenwünsche leicht abseits der Karte zu erfüllen - auch meine vegan lebende Frau hat hier gut gegessen. Für einen kurz Urlaub vor ein paar tagen haben wir vorab für den ersten Abend einen Tisch reserviert. Und was soll ich sagen wir sind die nächsten 2 Abende wieder gekommen. Super speißen Angebot mit tollen Portionen zum echt fairen Preis;) alles was wir gegessen haben war super lecker. Service, Ambiente und essen ist Wohlfühlatmosphäre wie daheim. Ich war schon ein paar Mal hier. Das Essen ist köstlich und preiswert, die Bedienung freundlich und die Aussicht von der Terrasse einfach fantastisch.

Ein hervorragendes Restaurant. Das Essen war köstlich. Wir hatten Knoblauchsuppe, Kartoffelpuffer mit Spinat und Pola Pola. Alles war super. Die Portionen waren sehr groß und alles war wirklich gut. Der Gratis-Shot zum Abschluss hat das Essen perfekt abgerundet.

Die Knoblauchsuppe war sehr lecker. Sie war schön knoblauchig und cremig. Das Dressing für den Caesar-Salat mit Hähnchen war etwas flüssiger und säuerlicher als sonst, schmeckte aber trotzdem gut. Das Lammkotelett war auch gut, und die Beilagen waren sehr lecker.

Ein wunderbares kleines Lokal mit hervorragendem Service und Essen. Nach dem Essen gab es kostenlos einen Schnaps oder Espresso. Englischsprachige Gäste werden gut bedient und Kartenzahlung ist möglich.

Sehr lecker und trotz der reservierten Tische fanden wir einen Platz, an dem wir 1,5 Stunden in Ruhe essen konnten.

Viele Jahre lang war dies unser Lieblingsrestaurant in Grainau. Das leckere Essen, die großen Portionen und der sehr freundliche Service waren immer die Gründe dafür. Unser letzter Besuch war jedoch etwas enttäuschend. Zwar sind die traditionellen Vorzüge erhalten geblieben – die typisch osteuropäische Gastfreundschaft, mit der die Gäste begrüßt, bedient und begleitet werden, ist unverändert –, doch die Portionen sind kleiner geworden, die Preise höher und leider hat die Qualität des Essens merklich nachgelassen.

Das Essen ein absoluter Traum… Ich kann jedem die Knoblauchcremesuppe empfehlen. Schnitzel waren so zart und lecker. Die Schnitzel die wir gegessen haben waren alle sehr gut. Mein Freund meinte es wäre das beste Jägerschnitzel was er je gegessen habe. Am Ende haben wir noch einen Schnaps bzw. einen Espresso aufs Haus bekommen.

Every October when we vacation in Grainau, the Jägerstüberl is a must for us. The food is always fresh and delicious and has never disappointed us. The roast pork with dumplings and red cabbage is highly recommended, and if you need seconds, you get it promptly. Simply a dream and super delicious. The service is always warm and friendly, and you always feel welcome. The in-house Croatian cuisine is also delicious. Of course, the draught Tegernseer beer is a must. All around, it's fantastic. We eat dinner here at least two, if not three times a week when we're here. I hope to be able to enjoy this restaurant and the food for many more years to come. 5/5 stars. We decided at short notice to eat at the Jägerstüberl, and we were not disappointed. With a bit of luck, we managed to get a table outside. The food was excellent, they also offer a variety of beers on tap, and the ambiance with a view of the Zugspitze was perfect. The service made us wait a bit longer at first, but otherwise everything was perfect. We'd love to come back on our next vacation.

A Bavarian restaurant that also serves a few other dishes. The food and draft beer were relatively expensive for Bavaria, but everyone enjoyed it.

We were there for the first time today. The service was very friendly. The food was delicious. I had goulash, which would have been enough for two ☺️. At the end, we got an espresso or schnapps on the house. We would come back anytime 👍

We stayed at the Jägerstüberl in July/August. We had made reservations in advance. One time there were four adults and one child, and the second time there were just two adults. The food and service were excellent every time. If we're ever in Grainau again, we'll definitely stop by the Jägerstüberl again. We really enjoyed it ;)

In short: Fantastic! Warm service, super friendly, and the food was truly delicious! I had the Jägerstüberl schnitzel, and it was simply delicious! The portions are generous. You won't overeat, but you won't feel hungry either. The atmosphere in the center of town is also great, including the cows strolling by.

The restaurant is highly recommended and worth a visit! It offers Croatian specialties as well as German cuisine. We found the German dishes very good and flavorful. The roast pork with its sauce was very tender, soft, and hearty. The prices are reasonable and reasonable for the quality of the food.

The service was smooth and friendly. We didn't have a reservation, all the tables were reserved, but we were able to grab one for another hour and a half. The location was beautiful with a view of the mountains. The food was ready quickly! We were eating about 15 minutes after arriving. The dishes weren't particularly special and pretty standard for a German menu. (We had soup, schnitzel, and chicken.) But overall, they were fine. One downside: it wasn't clear to us beforehand that payment was cash only. Good to know!

I don't usually participate in reviews, but this time I have to. I've rarely eaten such a good roast.

Last week, we were spontaneously looking for a restaurant at 8:00 PM after an excursion and happened upon the Jägerstüberl. Luckily, there was still (or already again) a beautiful table outside with a view of the mountains available. Although the restaurant was completely full, we were served quickly and very friendly. They even apologized for the hustle and bustle. The food was absolutely delicious and more than plentiful. We were all absolutely thrilled and haven't eaten this much in a long time. 🤩 We had the sirloin steak, schnitzel, chicken breast fillet, and the Kässpatzn (cheese spaetzle) 😋. A large sign at the entrance indicates that you can only pay in cash, and that wasn't a problem for us. To finish off, we even offered a schnapps or espresso and gummy bears for the little guests 🥰, which isn't something to be taken for granted. The prices are, in my opinion, completely normal and you won't find them cheaper anywhere else. And it's completely justified, given the great food and atmosphere. We would definitely come back and can highly recommend the Jägerstüberl! ☺️

The staff pretended I wasn't there. After 45 minutes, a gentleman approached me and informed me that the kitchen was closed. Besides the food, the way you treat others is also important. If you don't want to wait forever for service, I recommend a lovely, unassuming restaurant with delicious food next door. At least they don't complain about customers and being busy.

A very (very) good restaurant with typical Bavarian dishes and some Croatian specialties. The stuffed schnitzel is simply delicious. A warm and friendly welcome. We highly recommend it!

We reserved a table for two, but they wanted to seat us at a table for six. Service was very hectic and rude. The drinks and food took a very long time to arrive. Beer was below the recommended level. Some parts of the goulash were very greasy and inedible. The second potato pancake served was missing a quarter. Not good value for money. We won't be back.

Even though we didn't have a reservation, the team went to great lengths to get us a table – very friendly and attentive. My husband had a cordon bleu, and I had the cevapcici – both were perfectly prepared and delicious. We even finished with a shot of schnapps on the house. In summary: A thoroughly enjoyable visit.
