Unfortunately, we waited quite a long time at the entrance until we were brought to the table. But the food was very, very tasty and the service was also very attentive. The view is beautiful.

I feel sorry for all the guests who are served by the older blonde waitress (M.). In my entire life, my family and I have never been treated so poorly as guests. You then pay a lot of money for that. This woman is out of place.

The food was very expensive. Kaiserschmarren was more of a thick pancake with almonds. The service staff seemed annoyed by the public traffic. You had to pay an additional 1 euro for the toilet even though you had already paid over 70 euros for food and drink. Not recommended

Beautiful views make this an awesome place to sit and chat, and while away some time. It gets rammed in the summer, apparently (and not surprising) but in the autumn it was busy but not horribly. Super friendly service from a German/canadian lady, but we may have just been lucky. A great place for a drink and cake - the strudel with vanilla sauce was pretty tasty, but I’m no expert.

The waitress (male) was overwhelmed with his area and the dishes, including the Kaiserschmarrn, were not served nicely. The portion was simply too small for the price. We won't be coming back.

The seeRestaurant is located directly on the Eibsee below the Zugspitze. You deserve a stay especially after a tour of the Eibsee or a hike from Grainau to the Eibsee. The quality of the food is very good. The terrace offers an unforgettable view of Lake Eibsee and the mountains. The terrace is laid out in tiers. This means you have a good view of the lake from all tables. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

Food really bad. Canteen food and expensive.

We were on the Zugspitze and wanted to eat something delicious after a long day, unfortunately we chose the wrong restaurant. We ordered the crusted roast, unfortunately, like the red cabbage, it had no taste. Every retail ready meal has more flavor! Very disappointing 🤷🏼‍♂️! You can visit there for a drink, just to enjoy the view.

Nice friendly service, fast service.

Despite the long wait, we enjoyed the food very much. The Kaiserschmarrn arrived freshly prepared and hot. The service staff were very friendly despite the rush of visitors. The picturesque view from the terrace rounds off your visit to the restaurant.

We arrived at 5 p.m., but we were allowed to sit and order a cup of coffee. We both ordered a cappuccino, which we thought was a very large cup. We sat on the edge near the water where you could see the ducks and fish in the water. The cappuccino was delicious and the waiter helped us well. We had dogs with us and were allowed to take a seat, this was no problem.

Excellent food (roast pork and Kaiserschmarrn with apple sauce), very attentive and friendly service and a wonderful view! We were there with a baby and felt very comfortable. Changing table and high chairs are available.

With delicious food you have a great view over the Eibsee. This is also a good starting or finishing point if you want to walk around the Eibsee.

We didn't even get around to ordering!! Asked for a table in the restaurant, asked twice... it was reserved (it was clear to me because I can read and there was a sign on the table) and when I asked if another table in the warm one might be available, the next stupid answer was "No". . So I won't leave any money here... absolutely unfriendly!!!!! Normally I wouldn't have given a single star, but then the rating is not possible

Totally overcrowded on a working day.

Following our visit to Zugspitze, we dined at this establishment located near the lake, which offers beautiful views. While the staff were courteous and welcoming, the quality of the food was severely disappointing. It was overpriced and comparable to fast food. Unfortunately, it seems the venue is taking advantage of its prime location to deliver substandard service.

They dont have any respect for the person how is coming to the restaurant the are too late in bringing the food

The restaurant is worth it if you want a beautiful view of Lake Eibsee. The person, I can only rate one lady who served us, was very, very rude - absolutely not recommended. Therefore only 2 stars overall.

It’s a cool place to enjoy a meal while watching the great view of Eibsee. I wouldn’t say it’s that expensive, normal prices for Münich standards. Also their plates looks pretty and enough fulfilling.

In bright sunshine, we walked around the Eibsee (approx. 7 km) and then drank a delicious shandy on the outdoor terrace of the seeRestaurant. Despite being busy, the service was extremely friendly!!!

Unfriendliness seems to be very important here. When you asked for a coffee to go you were greeted with a short “yes” and that was it. We were ignored for another 5 minutes.

Food was very good, the portion was more than enough. We were there with a small child so we wanted to have our drink warmed up, that wasn't a problem and was done immediately. As we know, the ambience and surroundings speak for themselves, we would be happy to come back.

Located near the start of Lake Eibsee loop trail with a panoramic view of the lake. Food is not bad. Good for someone who feels cold right after sightseeing at the Zugspitze peak.

The location is fantastic, with a direct view of the beautiful Eibsee. We were in the self-service section where there are plenty of seats available. We only had coffee and cold drinks, the coffee was undrinkable...a shame. Nevertheless, we will come back.

Nice excursion restaurant with a great view of the lake and mountains

The positive at the beginning; The location itself is very chic and modern, plus the location right on Lake Eibsee is impressive. The toilets were also above average clean. Unfortunately the food can't keep up. We were in a group of three and wanted to take a short break on a hike to strengthen ourselves. Drink prices were hefty, as expected, but that should be obvious with such a touristy location. The food, however, was disappointing. According to the menu, we ordered two fresh pretzels and we received two luggage loops that were as hard as a board and dry and which gave the impression that they were from a discount store. Here is a note to the operator to please adapt the menu and delete the term “fresh”, which is unfortunately misleading. There was also a small french fry, half of which was unfortunately extremely soggy. The question here is how can this be? You are usually used to this kind of quality from the relevant fast food providers. Everything was rounded off with a hefty bill of almost €30 for (I repeat) three drinks, two pretzels and a small chip. Overall not worth recommending for hikers who expect refreshment. (Tip on the side: if you do need the toilet, it's better to pay €1 for it)

A restaurant that is a bit more expensive in terms of prices but is also worth it. No matter whether it is the quality of the food or the breathtaking view of the Eibsee and the Zugspitze. A truly successful lunch.

Gorgeous view on the lake and Alps.

Service Mitarbeiterin völlig frustriert, unfreundlich und auch noch inkompetent. Wow, ich wusste bis heute tatsächlich nicht, dass es diese Kombination überhaupt gibt. Und ich Idiot gebe noch Trinkgeld und kassiere lediglich ein genervtes Gesicht und war bei weitem nicht die einzige, die sich heute hier geärgert hat. Lässt euer Geld lieber woanders Leute! So geht professionelle Gastronomie definitiv NICHT.

We were only on the terrace, which is in a uniquely beautiful location. You get your food and drinks self-service and take them to the table. Prices are okay. Lots of hype and lots of visitors from all over the world

Not a place to feel good - motto of the day: "Every guest is a burden" Service unfriendly when it came to paying, a fake smile, then I naively (because I wasn't satisfied) gave a tip and note: of course not even one Thank you for receiving it, so to speak "go away"....service employee completely frustrated, listless and unprofessional. So no, definitely NOT understood the job! And definitely not again! P.S our table neighbors were also annoyed but in the end we just laughed at the situation because honestly??: I won't spend a cent more there!! THX

Great view of the lake. Simple food: sausages, french fries, German salads.

It's of course a top location on the lake with a great view, worth a stop for that reason alone. We actually wanted to eat something there, but unfortunately it didn't look that great. Ok, I have to admit, we are restaurateurs and quite critical...

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, is located by the lake, the food is delicious, the price is not too expensive, and the staff provides excellent service. I highly recommend this place.

It was okay. The pork schnitzel “Viennese style” was unfortunately a disappointment! The baked potato was tasty and filling.

Initially ignored for 15 minutes. The employee who was “not responsible” for us walked past us at least 10 times during this time. An initial “sorry” from our side was skillfully ignored. After 15 minutes we were forced to draw attention to ourselves with a slightly louder “sorry”. The “not responsible” employee then told us in a mushy tone that she was not responsible and pointed this out to the responsible employee, who preferred lengthy small talk with other customers. There was neither a hello nor an apology from her, instead she said “What is it?” in an artificially nice tone. There’s no need to shout like that.” and “If we have time, we’ll come.” But now the restaurant would have closed in 30 minutes. Very dubious. Of course, we left the restaurant immediately.

Right on the lake, okay due to the lack of alternatives

There is a waitress who is not polite and has little manners. At first, the employee allowed me to enter and I was choosing a table. She came and raised her voice at me in front of everyone, and everyone turned to look at me. She put me in a very awkward position, knowing that the employee was the one who allowed me to enter. I ate and I was very embarrassed, and the reason I went down. The evaluation is that she has blond hair and is very old. As for the young man who served me, he was respectful and polite.

We arrived at the restaurant shortly before closing time. Very friendly service, drinks and food came very quickly. However, we have eaten better sausage salad and the bread was a bit dry. There is still room for improvement. Otherwise nice terrace directly overlooking the Eibsee.

Bad service, unfriendly staff, food quality is poor and expensive. The only nice thing is the view.

Going your personal path very unpleasant

The food was generally very tasty. The Kaiserschmarren could have had more powdered sugar. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly service.

Very good restaurant. The blonde lady with glasses that served us, very kind, polite and friendly. We were visiting Eibsee two days in a row. On Saturday there was a bit of chaos and stress for the waiters, cause of so many ppl waiting even in front of the restaurant to get a table. Still, the waiters remained professional and friendly. On Sunday the situation was a bit more relaxed for the waiters and for us as customers felt quite nice. Maybe in high season and weekends wouldn’t be bad to have more waiters there ?! All in all, a very nice experience, good food next to stunning view. Would definitely come back again!

The staff is very friendly. The place where the restaurant is located is incredibly beautiful. When I saw the prices of the food, just one example currywurst with fries 17 euros, I stayed with my friend for 4.50 euros, The size of the currywurst, the portion and the fantastically beautiful space do not justify the price either. recently visited Eibsee Pavillon by the lake, and while the food was fairly average, the experience was elevated by its stunning location. The lake view from the outdoor seating area is absolutely breathtaking, making it the perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. The staff were excellent—friendly, attentive, and very welcoming, which added a nice touch to the overall dining experience. If you're looking for a place with great ambiance and service, this is a lovely choice, even if the food doesn’t particularly stand out.

Top location and very good price-quality ratio!

The lake view is beautiful and the food was good but the waiter was very unfriendly and our table was totally dirty and sticky! Above all, it is way too expensive!!!

We sat right by the water and the children ate delicious white sausages. View simply breathtaking. Toilets large and clean, changing table available. We then started the tour around the Eibsee well fortified 👍

Contrary to many other reviewers, we were served very quickly and friendly, even though we just wanted to have a drink and eat a piece of cake and apple strudel at lunchtime. The raspberry cake and the apple strudel (homemade!) are highly recommended. Aside from that, the service was very attentive, asking for any other drink requests, etc. We will visit again.

Very rude, just ignored us for 10min when we arrived

CATASTROPHE!! The food is still ok, but the service - arrogant, unpleasant and sexist employees. No organization.

At first it was ignored, so I looked for space myself. This one was dirty. The waitress said she would clear the table straight away. After 20 minutes with no signs of life, we left the restaurant again. The ambience at the lake itself could be very nice.

Unorganized. We had to wait half an hour before we were even served. Also waited almost an hour for the food. The waiters were very stressed - that's a shame because it ruined the good atmosphere.

Overcrowded restaurant. Minus for the self-service.

Two weeks ago I went there to spend a nice Sunday with my family and the waiters were really so rude, if you don’t speak German they make an ugly face. I went there with my family to spend a great day, and undoubtedly choose that place to have lunch was a bad idea. Next time I will bring my own food. And my advice for the restaurant is that the waiters should be people with desire to serve costumers.

We ate two roast roasts shortly before closing. Simply very tasty. Friendly staff and you don't need to say anything about the location.

The prices are a little high (but it’s Bavaria). View of the lake for lunch! The food is good, the salmon was very good! The accompaniments were perfect! Note if you have the same dessert, 1 for 2 or even 3 will be more than enough!

Never in my wildest nightmares did I expect to experience service like this. Imagine waiting over half an hour just to place an order, on what was clearly not a busy day. Staff members were standing around, seemingly auditioning for the role of "Statue of the Year." We tried multiple times to get their attention—waving, signaling, practically resorting to smoke signals—and still, nothing. It started to feel like we were being purposefully ignored. Eventually, we decided to leave, but not before asking a simple question on our way out: "How exactly does one place an order here?" The staff member’s answer? "You just sit at a table." Ah, of course—silly us, thinking sitting down was enough. When we pointed out that we’d been waiting forever, he just shrugged as if to say, "So what?" Let me be crystal clear: they noticed us. I made eye contact with at least two or three different staff members, all of whom acknowledged us but chose to do absolutely nothing about it.

Of course, great ambience right on the Eibsee. This means the prices are a little higher. Had the salad with feta cheese and a curry sausage with fries. Salad was tasty and sufficient. The currywurst was very spicy, which was not declared as such. Service was very friendly and quick.

My husband and I ordered our drinks from a very nice waiter and were in the process of choosing our food. Another waitress showed up (old woman) to serve our drinks. I'm wearing a normal top because it's extremely warm. She told us to leave the restaurant because the boss apparently wanted us to wear a T-shirt. If that were the case, our waiter would certainly have said something about it. Not to mention that the lady at the table next to us was also “only” wearing a top. That's a disgrace. In the current century, discrimination based on clothing. Underground!!!!!!!!

Roasting pigs went out around midday, ridiculous, never again. then ordered rice with chicken. Received: 2 small pieces of chicken files for €21 didn't taste good , next time I'll look for something else, I looked for positive reviews, but not many are true!!!!!!!!!!

Great view of Elbsee Lake. We had a couple of scoops of ice cream, a glass of white wine, and apple strudel with vanilla ice cream, which were delicious! It was raining around 4pm to 5:15, as predicted by weather forecasts. So the roof of outdoor area was closed and every guest need to get out😅😂🤣

As vegetarians, we were happy to have a choice, but the spaetzle and vegan burgers weren't exactly great. It's always filling, but the price hurts. However, the food was served quite quickly and the service was friendly. The view is of course great!

The view is great and the interior is also neat and up to date. Sadly they don’t know manners here as the staff is quite rude. We were waiting outside while raining to take a place outside and instead of saying something one of the oldest ladies just moved the sign that said “wait outside” even closer to me as if that would help. The chicken burger for €20 is crazy expensive as it’s the most basic chicken burger there is (similar to the one you buy at the supermarket for €3) and the fries are too salty. I must say for €4,8 the drinks are very large so there’s that at least. All in all, they’re still in business because of the view, because otherwise this place would’ve gone out of business quickly

The food was incredibly delicious, the view was wonderful and the atmosphere was simply great. A visit is a must on a trip to Eibsee.

There was a very long wait and there were wasps everywhere

Here's a summary of what happened in a single visit: 1) Female German waitress glared at my wife. 2) Eastern European male waiter told me that the pork I ordered was not halal. Thanks for the information. 3) Same waiter, after bringing out an incorrect meal, told my wife several times that she ordered something different to what she actually ordered, then aggressively took the meal away and swore. 4) Just after we moved to a new table with a better view of the lake, German waiter put his dirty tray down on our new table. Shortly after, he came back and took my half-finished coffee from me, and hesitated to give it back after I told him it was mine. We left without eating. Thanks for the coffee though.

Prices are reasonable, food is okay, service was initially friendly. 4/5 I came back at 5 p.m., according to Google Maps opening time until 5:30 p.m., very unfriendly employee said it was closed and not even the toilets could be used 0/5
