There were four of us and we ate well for €200. To pay we asked to separate the bill. The Nussbaumer said that this was not possible. That's why the employees aren't paid and that we can only divide by 4. I had never experienced this before... The owner didn't care about our dissatisfaction with this poor service 😥 she was probably fed up. The four of us from the catering industry will not be returning to this shop, where guests can choose

Very small restaurant opposite the Schillertheater. The food is really good, but also a bit expensive. The facilities, on the other hand, are pretty basic, the service is ok. Still a recommendation due to the tasty dishes.

Or who was it? ....move from your province to a big city/capital, and then make sure that restaurants that have been around for many years before yours!!!! move into this residential area, have to close and the employees and operators are put out on the street. But then you might want to eat regularly in a street restaurant around the corner and, on top of that, prefer to sit outside. And they ensure that sections of the road are simply closed. INCREDIBLE WHAT THIS CITY HAS BECOME...MY BIRTH CITY!!! Finally move back to your province or out to the country!!! Or if you want to do something good for Berlin, this city that you want to transform, then work to keep it clean!!! THAT WOULD FINALLY BE SOMETHING MEANINGFUL FROM YOU!!! Authentic Austrian cuisine at high prices, personal and attentive service. Reservation is essential, start time plus 120 minutes are booked. Quality of the food is first class. 2 comments: for still water (€7) I would have liked to have opened the bottle in my presence and not a carafe. If bottles of wine consumed in the restaurant are charged five times the bottle retail price, in my opinion that is grossly overpriced.

It was my first time at JOSL and it was the sweetest little place.. simplistic yet classy, great food and the best service!! Will be back soon! 😊

A lovingly designed restaurant over two levels. Unfortunately it's quite loud in the upper seats and far too dark. I would have liked some candlelight. Schnitzel and pumpkin seeds play the main role in the dishes. Prices for this are in the good midfield. First of all there were two kinds of homemade dips with bread, which was unfortunately quite dry. My main course, the eggplant schnitzel, was quite disappointing. 3 paper-thin, darkly fried slices with a thyme-flavored, taste-unidentifiable dip on a spring onion-heavy potato salad. Definitely too expensive for the quantity and quality. The dessert, vanilla ice cream with caramelized pumpkin seeds, tasted great. I would like to express great praise for the service, very warm and attentive.

The service is very attentive and the goose was a feast for the eyes. A very cozy Austrian, very authentic.

A very disappointing evening. We were really looking forward to the Austrian restaurant and reserved a table. Unfortunately, we sat at our table for half an hour and couldn't place an order because the waitress totally ignored us. Yes, she managed the store alone and was also responsible for drinks; But as a waiter you have to be able to set priorities somehow and not, for example, make digestives or clean tables first. The shop wasn't really full either, all the other guests had already had their main courses. Despite attempts at eye contact and hand signals, we were simply “overlooked”. We left pissed even though the menu looked great and we were really hungry. But that's not how you treat guests.

Unfortunately it was quite loud when we were there because it was quite full, but the food was good.

A great way to eat wonderful schnitzel! We come here again and again and are always thrilled.

It's actually a shame, very friendly service but the food is just nothing. I've been living in Berlin for several years and actually avoid Unter den Linden because most of it is overcrowded with tourists. Today we were nearby and thought we would test it out. The prices are extremely exorbitant, if you are asking such high prices then the quality should also be consistent. I had the cheese spaetzle for €28 and they were completely tasteless. Even salt and pepper couldn't save much. In every Bavarian restaurant in Berlin you can get better ones for less than half the price. Unfortunately not recommended for a full meal, you can make coffee and cake.
