One of the best restaurants in Berlin. A super friendly team and very, very good food. Whether it's scampi (great) or steak, everything is delicious, and the homemade lemonade is amazing.
Based on the review, I expected something different. Not enough halloumi, half of my durum was cabbage. Factory-made sauces and a limited selection. The whole thing was questionably constructed and is falling apart.

Super welcoming, decent food, super fair prices, and a glass of raki and white wine for each of us.
While we were waiting, we were allowed to play billiards and our own music in his third room. This guy is really cool. We'll definitely be back.
Thanks Göki for the unforgettable evening.
And don't forget, all of his rooms can be rented free of charge for all kinds of celebrations. Keep it up, Göki.
I went to Yuumi a few weeks ago and I'm still awestruck. I've lived in Berlin for 8 years and have gotten so used to managing my expectations that I was completely blindsided by the quality, taste, and experience I had here. I've been to Japan 5 times and the omakase here was significantly better than any of my Michelin star experiences there. It was the best meal I've had in Europe. It's difficult, maybe impossible, to do strictly Japanese food at that high a calibre in Germany, especially at this price point. The European twist on traditional Japanese cuisine is what makes Yuumi that good. It's not just highlighted in the ingredients, but the chef's story and experiences, which you will learn all about. I don't think I've ever experienced an omakase where every dish competed on an equal level with the last. I could go on and on about everything I loved about the experience, but will just say, you should go.
My favorite restaurant!
The food is freshly prepared with regional ingredients.
The menu offers a pleasant variety.
The service is very attentive and friendly. Always worth a visit!
We all ate different dishes and they were all delicious. We received small rolls from the house with a homemade garlic cream... very, very tasty. Can really recommend
Best kebab in the whole area! Very delicious and super friendly service. It's definitely the best place to go. Loyal and happy customers :)

Hatten La Vie En Toast als Catering Buffet auf dem Detect Classic Festival geniessen können - Frühstück, Lunch und Abendessen - alles absolut fantastique! Dankeschön!
This place (Kantstraße 140) is called Hachiko Ramen today, though I have no idea when the change of brands/ownership took place.
If you are a ramen lover, simply don’t go. Too much bland noodles that inflate in the too little soup, which has with no taste at all, and the miso is not miso that I know of. Has nothing to do with ‘real’ ramen, and must be one of the worst that I tasted in my life. Truly disappointing and waste of your time and money. The decor has a lot of Japanese characters but there’s nothing Japanese about it apart from the writing on the wall. I have been to others that had nothing to do with Japan, while making good /excellent interpretations of ramen, but not here, or, when I went, the real chef was off sick or something.
