Great evening! We sat outside and it was an incredibly delicious meal. The wine was also simply fantastic, and you get the chance to taste it first. Our main course took longer than expected, but the wonderful, friendly, and attentive service made up for it. The spinach dumplings and the Kaiserschmarrn were simply fantastic! Many thanks to the team for this wonderful evening!

Food is delicious, prices are now beyond belief.

Very tasty food with good attentive service

Authentic Austrian cuisine can definitely be found at Österelli. The ingredients and quality are excellent. You immediately feel like you're at home in Austria. The service is excellent and very attentive. Recommendation: Truffle dumplings or Viennese fried chicken. For dessert, a superbly caramelized Kaiserschmarrn with plum compote and apple compote. The small portion is perfectly sufficient, and the value for money is extremely good.

We popped in spontaneously and got a table. The staff was very friendly and the food was typically Austrian and delicious! 🤤

This restaurant is first- class. The food is delicious. I had the bread to start - which was a treat with flavoured butter. Then the schnitzel, and home-made apricot sorbet with prosecco to finish. The waiter was attentive and helpful, with my order and also with my German, which is a bit rusty! Overall this is a must-visit when in Berlin. I will definitely return for more!

When I looked at the menu, I thought, "Why should a schnitzel be so expensive for this tiny shop?" and... I've never had such delicious schnitzel and potato salad. The taste of those sauces🫣 Oh my God, there's never been a marinade this good. Service is normally slow, and your food arrives half an hour after you order, but it was legendary.

A small, hidden restaurant that's hard to find without the terrace, but absolutely delicious! The fried chicken and boiled beef salad are top-notch, and the wine advice and service are excellent. We'll be back.

Experience as an applicant. I had an appointment at 4 p.m., but had to wait outside for over 30 minutes because no one showed up. Emails were ignored, my trial day was unsupervised, and the promised response never arrived. Very disrespectful treatment of applicants. Not recommended.

Had a really lovely experience here! Service is very quick and everything was delicious! The Wiener Schnitzel was a really generous size and the potato + cucumber salad as well as the green salad were so incredibly good! Would highly recommend — one of the dining highlights from my trip to Berlin!

I went out to eat with friends yesterday. I had such good service and especially ate schnitzel and Cordon bleu. It was excellent food. We'll be back for more.

We used to enjoy ordering here regularly. Then the prices went up, but okay, costs have also gone up. After that, the portions got smaller, which is annoying given the prices. But now the quality has also declined, so you can get a mini veal cordon bleu for a maximum of €35, which resembles a shoe sole. That's not just bad, it's outrageous!

Schnitzel was below average - but prices were comparable to those at Borchardt. Nicely presented, but the taste wasn't particularly good. And visually, it's a very good example of a snack bar... dirty benches and chairs.

Tried this schnitzel restaurant and while the taste was goof, the portion was extremely small, easily the smallest schnitzel I’ve ever had. The pictures are quite misleading, showing a much larger portion than what you actually get. On top of that, they charge extra for cranberry sauce, which is unusual. Not worth the price overall.

Unfortunately, my meal (Cordon Bleu) was overcooked, resulting in a hard coating that was no longer fluffy. The meat was tasty, but dry. It seemed more like the Cordon Bleu had been fried in a deep fryer rather than a pan. The side dish, potato and cucumber salad, was very tasty, though! There are only a few seats at fairly small tables, so reservations are absolutely necessary. Due to the small space in the restaurant, the ambiance isn't very appealing.

Highly recommended! It costs a little more, but it offers a lot of flavor and cuisine that I associate with a vacation in Tyrol. It was delicious! If the portions were a little bit larger, it would have earned another star. Alternatively, you can of course consider getting appetizers.

A small but wonderful restaurant with excellent cuisine. I had asparagus soup with truffles for starters, followed by handmade mountain cheese spaetzle with truffles – simply delicious! To finish, we had Kaiserschmarrn for dessert. My daughter ordered the beef soup with cheese dumplings and was equally impressed. I'd also like to particularly highlight the elderflower lemonade – my absolute favorite! I can recommend it to anyone who – like me – is always looking for delicious homemade lemonade. Everything was delicious, and the service was very friendly. We'd definitely love to come back.

On Wednesday we visited Österelli for the third time. We were VERY SATISFIED, as always. But first, we want to rate the most important part: Brian – our server during our visits to Österelli. Courteous, super sweet, friendly, and helpful. He makes an extraordinary effort and always tries to find a free table for us. We feel very comfortable in Brian's "care" 😂 and wish other servers would follow his example. We hope the other servers in your store are just as nice. One thing I have to say: In all our visits, we only got to meet Brian :-p Thanks, Brian :-) Back to the food and restaurant: We can only recommend it to everyone. The food is truly delicious, beautifully presented, and soothing. We will definitely come back a fourth, fifth, or sixth time.

So the service was really not good and totally overwhelmed.

Price -> Same as in Vienna Location, service, atmosphere -> snack bar Dirty seating and hair from guests on the bench. Toilet and “kitchen” noticeably dirty. We were at Österelli last Easter Sunday and unfortunately disappointed. While you pay high prices like in Vienna for a small schnitzel, you feel like you're in a snack bar: delivery drivers are constantly standing in the middle of the dining room picking up orders - there's no trace of a cozy atmosphere. The chef, who apparently has roots in Central Africa, has a solid command of Austrian cuisine, but overall everything seems careless. Our waiter seemed to be exclusively occupied with delivery services and had little time for the guests in the restaurant. Both our wishes and those of the neighboring tables were overlooked or confused several times. Selling wine was also unpleasant: instead of being given relaxed advice, you had the feeling that it was being sold forcefully - including a strange presentation at the table.

Austrian heaven in Charlottenburg Starting with the super nice, warm team, through the beautiful interior, to the lovingly packaged, sooooo delicious food - everything is just right here. We fell in love the first time and have now feasted our way through the menu. Schnitzel, fried chicken, Käsekrainer, vegetarian cheese or spinach dumplings. Everything was super delicious. And if you then try yeast dumplings and the like, you are finally on cloud 9. Thank you for so much enjoyment and continued success!! A very good restaurant if you want to immerse yourself in Austrian cuisine in a relaxed but still delicious way. Delicious dumplings, the best schnitzels, very good salads and excellent pastries. The whole thing is rounded off with a very harmonious wine selection. The service is also very good. But you shouldn't expect too much Alpine cosiness; the ambience is rather stylish and the dining room is quite small, which means the noise level at the always full tables is quite high. Prices are reasonable. Overall a full 5 star recommendation!

In addition to being seated in such a place that a waiter bumped into me every minute, after 20 minutes after we sat down, they didn't even inquire about what we wanted to drink.

Even better than in Austria!!! We have never eaten so well in Austria. Yesterday we had delicious baked goods, juicy and crispy, the dumpling trio was light and airy on beautifully melted butter with truffles, crunch and parmesan on top and the Viennese can get a slice of the Wiener Schnitzel. At the tables next to us we had already reached dessert... Kaiserschmarrn... of course we had to try it too! Beautifully caramelized and with apple and plum compote, so delicious! Greetings again to the chef! The service was very charming and polite and enjoyed working! The only drawback... too many tables in a small space, which made it very loud and the air became increasingly thin. But we didn't want to stay in the restaurant for long because we went to a performance at the Schiller Theater right across the street. So gladly again!

Food is really ok! But not great! In such a small shop you naturally expect the two waiters to get along well. I called the waiter and he showed me that he would come to me soon. After 5 minutes he finally wanted to come to me and then a lady came into the store and he just went out and chatted with her for 3 minutes. Sorry but that doesn't work at all...

Unfortunately, it was a disappointment: a very small restaurant that paid no attention to soundproofing (you could hardly hold a conversation, you couldn't hear your own voice). The chairs were also very uncomfortable. Two stars are only given for the trio of dumplings. The salad plate for 14 euros was neither good nor sufficient. (The buckwheat in it consisted of a few buckwheat grains.) The very small apricot dumplings, when thawed, tasted like frozen food. The celery schnitzel, unfortunately, is nothing special, nor is it Austrian. The selection of dishes is very limited. Overall, we left the restaurant having spent over 30 euros (that didn't even include alcoholic drinks) and were neither full nor satisfied.

Here you can find very fine and sophisticated versions of Austrian classics such as Wiener Schnitzel, dumplings, cheese spaetzle, yeast dumplings, Kaiserschmarrn, etc. There are vegan versions of some dishes. The food is fantastic.

Went there spontaneously for dinner as a couple. It is very small, with larger groups it is almost impossible to eat there. The team is very friendly and accommodating! The food was very good! Prices but performance are only average. The ambience could be improved a bit. The sanitary facilities may need to be checked more often.

Small and very good Austrian restaurant. It's very easy to overlook it, it's small and it's not a restaurant, it's a coffee bistro. The food is great, very tasty Wienerschnitzel and the apricot dumplings are highly recommended. No keg beer but interesting bottles of beers. Price performance okay.

Goose leg, very tasty. Bread dumplings, also very tasty, even if there are no comparison criteria. Red cabbage, already seasoned for Christmas, delicious in consistency, clearly too much sugar. Apricot dumplings and coffee with milk are a wonderful ending.

On a Sunday we ate at Österelli and made reservations there in advance. I would also recommend it as the store is quite small. The furnishings are modern and stylish. Unfortunately the acoustics in the restaurant are not that great, I found it very loud. Acoustic panels would help. About the food: I've been to Austria a few times and have never eaten such good Kaiserschmarrn in Germany. The schnitzel, cordon bleu, potato salad, cheese spaetzle and carrot salad were also very, very tasty. I will definitely stop by again and try more.

The food at Österelli was really excellent, and I also really liked the service and the cozy atmosphere. A big compliment to the kitchen and the nice team! Unfortunately, the restaurant is quite small and you only have 1.5 hours per reservation before you are asked to vacate the table because the next guests are already waiting. This wasn't clearly communicated on the website - I only discovered it when I looked directly in the restaurant reservation system. Unfortunately, I wasn't informed about this at all when I made my Google reservation, and that led to disappointment on site. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to order dessert and had to drink my coffee quicker than I wanted. The time pressure definitely dampened the mood and spoiled the experience. It's a shame, because without this restriction I would certainly have given it 5 stars.

What can I say? I was denied tap water. We placed our order and ended up asking for tap water. This was then refused to us by the waiter. “We’re not allowed to serve anything”… I think it’s a real shame and therefore only one point.

In my opinion, the perfect Wiener Schnitzel is available here. Overall, the entire meal was incredibly good. As a starter we had a mixed salad and spinach dumplings. For dessert there was an excellent apricot dumpling and a delicious apricot schnapps. The service was also great and everything is very nicely designed overall. The restaurant is highly recommended. We absolutely loved the food – everything was delicious! We were also impressed by the stylish and inviting atmosphere. The prices are appropriate for the quality of the food, but the service left a lot to be desired: a lack of cutlery, a forgotten side dish, and an unfocused waiter who kept chattering away. The guests next to us even left because they had to wait so long. Nevertheless, I can highly recommend the restaurant and will happily come back for a second try. :)

It was a small but nice menu and four of us enjoyed it very much! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room is very attractively designed. If we are in Berlin again, we will definitely eat there again.

Small but very good restaurant with enough distance from other guests. Service friendly and effective. Shortly after the drinks were served, the appetizers were served: spinach dumplings and potato soup. Both tasted excellent. As a main course we ate Wiener Schnitzel and Spätzle with cheese. Portions very large and super tasty. It's clear to see that everything is homemade. Highly recommended.

Lovely, cosy location for elevated Austrian cuisine. I recommend the Spinat Knödel - I would return there just for that! Otherwise it was overall a lovely meal, excellent Schnitzel 👌 The crowd was maybe a little more “elegant”, than other eateries in Berlin.

Great classical Austrian food. I love West Berlin – besides, I even consciously chose to live here. However, one issue with its dining establishments is that they are unironically old-fashioned. Enormous wooden tables, puffy seats, checkered tablecloth. You feel obligated to bring your family there – a family of at least eight beautiful kids, that is. Now, this place is nothing like that. It is compact, concise, content, you can ever say trendy – at least in my Eastern European perception plagued with minimalist design. It is located opposite to Komische’s Opera temporary home, which is another plus. The food is great, too. I am a huge fan of Breznknödel, and they happen to have them with truffles – makes you think that Austrian/German food is actually not just potato and sausages after all. The schnitzel? The schnitzel is great, almost as good as it gets, and is served with a selection of pickled vegetables. Mind this, I am not a huge pickled potato affiliate – but would never not finish my serving here. Two small issues that have been haunting me for a while: 1. Whenever I come on Sunday, they have ran out of buratta. It always happens, I have in fact given up any hope on ever trying it. 2. The outside seating is plagued by WASPs (not the White Anglo-Saxon Protestant kind either, the yellow-and-black stripped ones). Bloody annoying.

Very small restaurant with 12 tables for two. Modern and cool furnishings. Reminds me more of a bar. But the cuisine and food are very good.

Very nice staff and delicious food at fair prices. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to serve alcohol during our visit, but there was Almdudler! Would recommend Österelli to anyone looking for a small, fine shop with food from the Alps.

Went there for dinner last Sunday at 3:30 p.m. We really enjoyed the food and drinks, and the restaurant manager also took excellent care of us.

Metter, friendly service and very tasty Viennese food. Beetroot starter, wiener schnitzel and the desserts are all great. We'd love to come back.

Horseradish Schnitzel is surprisingly light, crispy & well seasoned. The grated horseradish on top really made it for me. Great potato salad also.

Sensational Austrian cuisine and a great, romantic ambience. Clear recommendation: truffle cordon bleu and homemade yeast dumplings with vanilla sauce.

Really very tasty and food, made with time, care and most importantly, love. The owner is proud of what she offers and it shows through her generosity and friendliness. It's somewhat weird location makes it a bit of a Geheimtipp - a place you learn about through word of mouth or, like me, you just happened to pass by. The Knödel are really delicious--not too salty, the right size, and a soft, wonderfully inviting consistency. It's a small bistro, it's lively, loud when full, which it likely often is because the food is so great, and the view outside is lacklustre, but I kind of like that. It's a little shiny gem in a concrete jungle.

Price: $$$ not cheap, but a good price for the size and quality of the dishes. Service: friendly and quick to assist. Atmosphere: cozy place on a main street. For some reason there were little beetles crawling around, but one of those summer things. Highlights: a different place to try which is very good and worth stopping by. Payment Method: CC, cash

Backhändle salad absolutely delicious.

I booked a table at this restaurant for my mother's birthday based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing and we cannot recommend the restaurant. The food was OK, but the service left a lot to be desired. The young waiter who served us was either not in the mood or having a bad day. We waited about 15 minutes for our drinks. There were four of us and we all ordered a schnitzel. The first schnitzel came relatively quickly, but without any side dish. We had to wait another five minutes for the remaining three schnitzels. I don't expect anything like that in 2024 and if it does, it should be communicated. Additionally, a fork was missing from our table, which we reported to the waiter, but nothing happened. Only the waitress noticed it was missing and brought the fork. A bottle of water that we had ordered later was also forgotten. The lady who works there deserves a positive mention. She was very kind and accommodating and tried to make up for the waiter's lack of service. Overall we had the feeling that the process wasn't right and we were very disappointed at the end of the evening.
