Great food, with very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, unfortunately the main street is so busy and noisy - otherwise 1a for good Austrian food.

Food Quality: very good food. Every dish was delicious. Worth giving the dessert Knoddel a try. Portions: good size dishes and well made. Drinks: lemonades, softdrinks, beers, wines. Price: $$$ not cheap, but a good price for the size and quality of the dishes. Service: friendly and quick to assist. Atmosphere: cozy place on a main street. For some reason there were little beetles crawling around, but one of those summer things. Highlights: a different place to try which is very good and worth stopping by. Payment Method: CC, cash

Small and very good Austrian restaurant. It's very easy to overlook it, it's small and it's not a restaurant, it's a coffee bistro. The food is great, very tasty Wienerschnitzel and the apricot dumplings are highly recommended. No keg beer but interesting bottles of beers. Price performance okay.

I booked a table at this restaurant for my mother's birthday based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing and we cannot recommend the restaurant. The food was OK, but the service left a lot to be desired. The young waiter who served us was either not in the mood or having a bad day. We waited about 15 minutes for our drinks. There were four of us and we all ordered a schnitzel. The first schnitzel came relatively quickly, but without any side dish. We had to wait another five minutes for the remaining three schnitzels. I don't expect anything like that in 2024 and if it does, it should be communicated. Additionally, a fork was missing from our table, which we reported to the waiter, but nothing happened. Only the waitress noticed it was missing and brought the fork. A bottle of water that we had ordered later was also forgotten. The lady who works there deserves a positive mention. She was very kind and accommodating and tried to make up for the waiter's lack of service. Overall we had the feeling that the process wasn't right and we were very disappointed at the end of the evening.

Louder than a hospital cafeteria. Eat good. A conversation with the person sitting next to you is only possible if you shout at each other to combat the noise from the kitchen, as it is not spatially separated. Our dessert order was forgotten.

Casual food, service a bit overwhelmed in the fully booked restaurant, 1 beer was on the house because a drink was forgotten. Still 5 stars for service, very friendly service. Food fresh and casual. The Kaiserschmarrn is highly recommended. Toilets could be cleaner. Restaurant located on the street, just not possible otherwise in Berlin :-) Many kind regards

An absolute gem in Berlin's culinary landscape, which has often become arbitrary at times. Österelli has fought through difficult times for the restaurant industry and has earned its loyal customer base with consistent quality and service. This is not a place to see and be seen. Here the desire for well-made Austrian cuisine plays the first fiddle. Was a guest at a private party there this evening on the occasion of a birthday and was once again impressed by the excellent service. Truffle dumplings, schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn did the rest to make the evening a great experience. Compliments, I was very happy, keep it up!!

Really nice lunch, mixed a main course of white asparagus, schnitzel and hollandaise with a starter of two very delicious spinach dumplings. In addition, two glasses of white wine according to the waiter's recommendation. Total for 2 people, about DKK 500.

If a restaurant doesn't get 5 stars from me on Google, I always have a problem with it and I don't want to be unfair. Overall conclusion of our group of 5: it was ok, but not good. When we were greeted in front of the restaurant, we were spoken to in a somewhat rude manner by the waitress (boss?). She also wasn't very nice to the delivery men who drove in and out of the restaurant. Over the course of the evening, things became harmonized at our table. We had reserved and that was a good thing because the guest room is relatively small. Unfortunately there is no way for 5 adults to sit comfortably with two rather tall men. We were relocated again, but the chairs/tables are the same everywhere. It was all pretty tight. The dining room itself is also quite modern and appears cool. The selection of dishes with dumplings, chicken, schnitzel is ok. My Wienerschnitzel was good, our friend's Krenschnitzel was a bit tough in his opinion. The large Kaiserschmarrn was enough for dessert for the 5 of us, but unfortunately the almonds were a bit burnt, which sometimes caused a bitter taste if you weren't careful and sorted out. Overall the food was ok, but not really good for our taste. In addition, all dishes were significantly more expensive than in another Austrian restaurant we had visited in Berlin a few days earlier. Ultimately everything is subjective and a matter of taste. From the many great reviews here, I can tell that others have experienced it differently. Since I was here precisely because of these reviews, I also wanted to give my impression.

There were 9 of us in the restaurant and the service was excellent. All of the food we ordered was delicious. Österelli is highly recommended if you want authentic Austrian cuisine. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A small restaurant opposite the Schiller Theater in Berlin and although it is a bar/bistro, there is a full kitchen that is just right for lovers of Austrian dishes. The stay is accompanied by music that comes from Austria. The staff is totally friendly and service-oriented. The wines were presented to me with a story and I felt like I was in good hands.

Good food, somewhat uncomfortable bistro style, the service alone was a bit overwhelmed. One and a half hours of time was almost impossible to keep.

Our expectations were exceeded. We were received very well as soon as we entered the location. The aperitif was delicious and the starter excellent. For the main course there was Wiener Schnitzel, a selection of dumplings and cheese spaetzle... All of which is highly recommended. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back at some point. Hello ✌🏼🤤

Unfortunately it doesn't have much to do with Austrian culture. The tables and seating were far too narrow. You're almost on your neighbor's lap. And eating from the neighboring table would also have been possible. Food was tasty.

W.-Schnitzel Veal…. Very tough and with tendons??!!! Potato salad has nothing to do with the Austrian version! There’s nothing Austrian about the ambience and music… Breading and the waiter were good that's why 2*

Small, cute restaurant (Berlin). A bit inconspicuous from the outside. We almost drove past. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The schnitzel is mega. A clear recommendation. A few sound-dampening elements would be good.

Overall a really nice experience, exceptionally delicious food, from starters to dessert with lots of vegetarian options. The cook came to the table at the end and there was a schnapps on the house, the waiter beforehand could have been a little more helpful and friendly.

Nice little restaurant, we thought it was great. The 3 boys today were really nice, super attentive and very personable. Food top! Yes, the price level is high, but we think it is justified. Elsewhere you pay a lot and get subpar service and bad food. Good food has its price - keep it up. The atmosphere is just something different. It's not a chici mici shop, it's rustic, but that's completely sufficient.

Excellent food at fair prices. The Wiener Schnitzel was beautifully prepared, the dumplings were handmade and tasted great, and the crowning glory was the fantastic homemade pastries.

Just wow, a clear 10 out of 10. The service that served and welcomed us with its calm and courteous manner. Right down to the excellent cuisine, everything is homemade here and you can taste it. We had the cordon bleu and the homemade yeast dumpling, the latter of which I have never experienced anywhere else. At the end we didn't say goodbye to the chef, all in all a successful evening. We'd love to come back.

We wanted to spend our lunch break here relaxing as a couple. When we came into the restaurant and asked the service employee if the table for four by the window was free, we got an eye roll and he said for once we could sit there for two. Besides us, there were only two other guests in the restaurant and it was already 1 p.m. The service person came to the table to take our order with stains on his apron and shirt. The tables in the restaurant are far too narrow. The service staff are very sparsely friendly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The portion size was also good. After the meal we were sitting with our drinks and chatting when the service employee came to our table, equipped with a tablet and ec device, and said he had heard we wanted to pay. We hadn't given him any sign... Not very charming and confirming the overall impression. We didn't take anyone's place away. There were still four tables free, but apparently they don't value satisfied guests. Conclusion, food top, service and ambience flop.

Delicious dumplings! The cheese spaetzle wasn't my thing. Way too much sauce and therefore extremely powerful. Unfortunately, alcohol is not sold at this time, which was not communicated when making the reservation. There is an extremely strong smell of fried fat in the restaurant.

Sehr leckeres österreichisches Essen und eine tolle , aufmerksame Bedienung. Wir hatten das Wiener Schnitzel, den Backhändlsalat und einen kleinen Kaiserschmarren. Alle hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Small place with just a few tables, great atmosphere and even better food!

Normalerweise bin ich skeptisch wenn ich mir Essen liefern lasse. ABER heute, was für ein tolles Erlebnis. Die Knödel fluffig, schmackhaft, einfach nur super lecker. Das Cordon Bleu mit einer Panade die nicht schöner sein kann. Perfekt souffliert und das alles auch noch sehr gut gewürzt. Eine liebe Botschaft auf der Verpackung, die mich besonders gefreut hat. Ich muss euch dringend besuchen. Ist auf meinen 1.Platz der To Do Liste. Danke!

Hatte durch Empfehlungen von Bekannten und Freunden auf den Besuch gefreut, leider insgesamt enttäuscht. Die Tische waren ziemlich zusammen gequetscht, sodass man kaum Platz hatte und sich ingesamt unwohl gefühlt hat. Der Service wirkte etwas genervt. Alkohol wird nicht ausgeschenkt, da keine Lizenz mehr vorhanden sei. Auf das Schnitzel musste man über 1 Stunde warten, es war ziemlich durchschnittlich und viel zu viel Essig drin. Wenn man das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis vergleicht, würde ich persönlich nicht nochmal hierhin kommen. Sehr schade.

Sehr guter Service: -trotzdem wir für einen falschen Tag reserviert hatten (unser Fehler) hat die Bedienung alles möglich gemacht und konnte uns trotz voll besetztem Haus noch dazwischen quetschen -die Bedienung hat für eine klasse Atmosphäre gesorgt Schnitzel, Cordon-Bleu und Erdapfel-Gurkensalat haben extrem gut geschmeckt, Pommes waren ausbaufähig. Wir kommen wieder!🙌🏼 Und diesmal mit richtiger datierter Reservierung 😉

Wir waren in Berlin auf der Suche nach einem österreichischem Restaurant wo das original Wiener Schnitzel noch unter 29 Euro kostet... Fündig wurden wir im Österelli. Meike die den Service leitet war schon am Telefon sehr freundlich. Die Realität topte es nochmal. Eine großartige Karte für alle die auf typische österreichische Küche stehen. Wiener Schnitzel, Backhéndel Salat. Spinat Knödel. Kaiserschmarrn.... Schaut einfach mal online in die Karte rein. Meike begrüßte uns herzlich und kam direkt zur Sache. Das Problem mit dem Alkohol Ausschank. Das Restaurant darf wegen einer 8cm längeren Tür die auf den Gehwege ragt kein Alkohol ausschenken. Kein Problem für uns. Meike hatte einen tollen Alkoholfreien Drink den sie uns stolz servierte. Der war wirklich lecker. Wir wollten möglichst viel von der Karte probieren und teilten uns die 3 Spinatknödel. Das Kalbs cordon bleu mit Bergkäse und zum Abschluss den kleinen Kaiserschmarrn. Es war unglaublich köstlich. Selten so gut gegessen. Der Kaiserschmarrn war der beste den ich je hatte. Karamellisiert 🤤. Ein Traum. Alle Speisen wurden frisch zubereitet. Der Koch liebt seinen Job und kocht unglaublich gut. Am liebsten hätte ich ihn gekidnappt und mit nach Hause genommen. Auch Meike und ihr Service war sehr aufmerksam und erzählte uns gerne etwas zu den einzelnen Speisen Es war ein Rund um gelungener Abend. 10 von 10 Punkten. Hier stimmt alles und die Preise für das tolle Essen sind im Rahmen. Wir müssen unbedingt wieder kommen! Ein Muss wenn man in Berlin ist!

Wir haben heute das Österelli zum ersten mal besucht und Glück gehabt noch einen freien Tisch bekommen zuhaben. Der Service ist sehr bemüht des Gästewohls und stets freundlich gewesen. Das Restaurant ist sicher relativ klein und man sitzt etwas beengter aber Platz-technisch wurde das beste rausgeholt und es ist elegant eingericht. Es ist eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Wir haben zu beginn ein Schmankerl als Getränk bekommen "Sparkling Tea" sehr lecker und klar zu empfehlen, preislich ist das Glas mit 0,2l für 12.50€ wirklich teuer, aber die Flasche kostet beim Erwerb im Handel auch nicht wenig, vielleicht einer kleiner Hinweis zum Betrag für das Glas "Sparkling Tea" :) Wir haben Rote Beete Knödel+Trüffel Knödel bestellt. Einen kleinen grünen Österelli Salat und Kaiserschmarrn. Alles war so delikat und wirklich gut zubereitet . Es ist ein gutes Handwerk und ich muss ehlicherweise gestehen dass ich über die ganzen negativen Rezensionen enttäuscht bin, denn hier wird sich sehr um die Gäste gekümmert und das Essen ist wirklich gehobener Klasse. Auch über die Portionsgröße kann man in keinster Weise meckern. Wir finden das Österelli super und empfehlen es gerne und mit gutem Gewissen weiter!

Aufgrund von Auflagen durfte kein Alkohol serviert werden. Das wäre bei der Reservierung gut gewesen zu erwähnen. Das Essen ist ok aber kein Highlight. Allerdings sind die Wartezeiten viel zu lang. Fazit. Ein Besuch reicht aus.

Leckere hausgemachte Speisen und freundlicher Service in sehr kleiner Gaststube. Wiener Schnitzel, Knödeltrio und Marillenknödel waren köstlich. Alkoholausschank ist im Restaurant zur Zeit nicht erlaubt. Ersatzprodukt für Wein (Spritziges aus Tee) köstlich, aber sehr hochpreisig ( 0,1: 6,50 €, 0,2: 12,50€) Gastraum clean und recht klein mit eng gestellten kleinen Tischen; Folge: sehr laut, Raumklima nicht so angenehm. Service sehr freundlich. Preisniveau recht hoch, dafür hausgemachte Speisen. Reservierung scheint unerlässlich.

The taste of the food was anything but simple. There were a variety of different flavors that blended together perfectly. I would definitely recommend reserving a table in advance. This place is highly recommended!

Eine neue Entdeckt meiner Eltern, vis-a-vis vom Schillertheater. Zum Geburtstag meiner Mutter ein perfekter Ort. Fein und unaufgeregt stylisch eingerichtet mehr Bistro, als kitschiges Österreich. Aufgrund von Unstimmigkeiten mit dem Ordnungsamt, durfte während unseres Besuches kein Alkohol ausgeschenkt werden, was dem Ganzen jedoch keinen Abbruch tat. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und Aufmerksam. Statt einem gewohnten Crémat gab es, auf Empfehlung, eine alkoholfreie Variante. Sehr erfrischend! Satt sind wir allemal geworden. Es gab Wiener Schnitzel, lecker zubereitet und liebevoll arrangiert. Aber auch das Huhn und die Wurst, wurden als lecker kommentiert. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Essen im Österelli ist sehr gut, nur leider sind die Portionen wirklich sehr klein. Ich hatte das Knödel-Trio und es war eher wie eine Vorspeise. Auch sieht es von außen gemütlich aus - nur ist es drinnen sehr laut. Die Tische stehen sehr eng und eine Unterhaltung ist schwer möglich.

Wir waren spontan vor einem Opernbesuch im Österelli und begeistert! Wir wurden perfekt umsorgt und das Essen war großartig. Es gab für uns Backhendlsalat bzw. 3 verschiedene Knödel. ...und weil es so eine gute Erfahrung war (und wir vor der Oper nicht genug Zeit hatten), gab es die Marillen- bzw. Nougatknödel später. ;-) Ein Gedicht! Wir kommen wirklich gerne wieder!!

Die Speisen sind sehr lecker zubereitet und man merkt, dass der Koch die österreichische Küche sehr gut kennt und sowohl Schnitzel als auch Süßspeisen hervorragend beherrscht. Der Gastraum ist allerdings winzig, was schnell zu stickiger Luft führt und den Lärmpegel hoch treibt. Die Preise sind im oberen Segment angesiedelt und für das Ambiente grenzwertig. Achtung: im Moment darf hier kein Alkohol ausgeschenkt werden.

Die location ist leider nicht so schön wie in Potsdam, dafür macht der Service und das Essen das wieder wet
