I am incredibly disappointed! My expectations were not met in any way. The food had absolutely no taste of Mexican cuisine - zero spices, just boring. The “salsa” didn’t taste like salsa at all, more like watery tomato sauce, and the guacamole had absolutely nothing to do with guacamole. In addition, the prices are disproportionate to the quality and portion size. For what is on offer here, it is simply overpriced. Another annoyance: When it came to toppings, something was simply put on top without even asking what you wanted. This should actually be standard! Unfortunately, absolutely not recommended!

Starting with the ambience, it used to be an inn, the miserable cocktails, cheap juices, and the food, we had a chicken quesada, which has as much to do with Mexico as the Eiffel Tower has with a kebab, although I really like a good kebab, I can't recommend anything here. My daughter had a burger that was hot on top of the salad. Never never again. :(

We spent our company Christmas party there – with a total of 16 people. A large table was reserved for us and we were served extremely attentively and quickly. The food was served almost at the same time and was consistently well tempered. Even a short request for music was graciously fulfilled. The drinks were excellent, the food was delicious, and everyone really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

This is not only fun, but also ensures that everyone gets exactly what he or she likes. The quality of the ingredients is consistently very good, everything tastes fresh and authentic. The tacos are particularly noteworthy – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with lots of delicious filling options. And: They are also available in a gluten-free version, which is a real highlight, especially for people with intolerances. In terms of taste, the gluten-free tacos are in no way inferior to the normal ones, which is really rare and very positive. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here - the prices are more than fair for what you get. The portions are decent without being over the top, and you'll definitely leave full and satisfied. Another plus point are the drinks: In addition to classic soft drinks, there is also a nice selection of cocktails and other Mexican drinks. The cocktails we tried were really well mixed - not too sweet, nicely balanced and made with high quality ingredients. Here, too, you can tell that attention is paid to quality. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant that not only scores with delicious food, but also with a pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and a flexible concept. If you're looking for fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine - whether classic or gluten-free - you'll definitely find it here. I would love to come back!

A completely successful visit! We had a wonderful stay at El Chingon - a perfect break from everyday life! We liked the entire atmosphere and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Everyone has found their favorite on the menu. The culinary variety was more than sufficient - there was something for every taste. Particularly noteworthy is the attentive and friendly service, which made our visit even more pleasant. We'll definitely be back.
