Kaktus-Mexican-Food in Bielefeld

We spent our company Christmas party there – with a total of 16 people. A large table was reserved for us and we were served extremely attentively and quickly. The food was served almost at the same time and was consistently well tempered. Even a short request for music was graciously fulfilled. The drinks were excellent, the food was delicious, and everyone really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

The food was very good and fresh, we all enjoyed it very much. The service was excellent and nothing was missing. It's worth eating here.

The food was so delicious 🤤 Really. I ate tacos for the first time in my life and they were absolutely delicious. I didn't know how I was supposed to eat them, but since no one looked at me stupidly, it was clear 😅 One thing I have to complain about is that we waited a long time for the menu. That must have been over 15 minutes. Once we had this, everything else was completely fine. The food was definitely worth the wait 😁 I don't know what else there is, but I'm looking forward to my next visit to the restaurant ❤️ Kind regards

We came across the restaurant by chance. The atmosphere was nice and the waitresses were friendly. The food wasn't quite to our taste, we're used to something different here. Nevertheless, the delivery service via Uber Eat, Wolt and Lieferando is booming.

The Kaktus is a small restaurant on the edge of Bielefeld's old town. The furnishings are modern and cozy. The menu is clear with short explanations of the dishes. The service was nice and quick, the prices were reasonable. There is also a small outdoor area which also offers a cozy impression. The prices here are at the usual level. The food was beautifully presented and was very delicious.

The food was okay to really good, the ambience outside wasn't that great, but still okay. But the service was really, really bad. Not unfriendly or anything, but we were constantly forgotten. Finally, we sat for an hour without service, even though we had repeatedly ordered drinks throughout the evening.

The employees, as well as the owner, are extremely nice and prepare all the food themselves and freshly. A true piece of home! Visiting is now a tradition!

I was so disappointed! I ordered fajitas and got something that tasted more like a Turkish one. I lived in Texas for a long time and am familiar with Mexican food... Nothing really clicked. The food was good, but not Mexican. Too bad!

We discovered this restaurant by chance and were immediately impressed! We really liked the ambience, and we also liked the fact that it wasn't a big restaurant. The selection of food was plentiful, there is definitely something for every taste. Everything about the order took a very long time. Even the drinks took a while to be delivered to the table and we had to wait an unreasonably long time for both the starter and the main course. To be honest, we didn't wait any longer for the tequila on the house and left. However, since the food and the ambience convinced us, we would like to come back again.

The service was very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food was not a revelation and had more of a fast food character. So if you just want a quick snack, you might be in good hands here, but if you want a good meal, it's probably not.

The food at Kaktus is really phenomenally good. Been there 4 times now and have never been disappointed. Quite the opposite. Always fresh, hot, no significant waiting time, super nice service and super tasty. Absolute recommendation!

The Kaktus is a small restaurant with a limited number of tables. At the weekend it's worth reserving a table. The food is very good quality and plentiful. My sweet potato fries were super crispy. The homemade lemonades are delicious. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive. We had a lovely time at the cactus and will definitely be back.

It's a nice little restaurant with great food, but the service is very slow. The ambience is good. The presentation of the food was also good. The portions were also reasonable. There are not enough waiters/waitresses in the restaurant which makes everything very slow.

First of all, it's not authentic Mexican cuisine. Probably my own interpretation of it. However, there is nothing wrong with the food. The food and cocktails were excellent. But you have to have a lot of patience. Overall, you can tell that the team is putting a lot of effort into it and the evening was relatively successful. Reservation on weekends is an advantage.

Nice little restaurant with Mexican cuisine. The service is very courteous and the price/performance ratio is right. My only complaint is that the food is too mild and “Germanized” for me. I would prefer it to be more authentic. Overall, a nice visit and I would come back.

I ordered nachos from Lieferando. Well, what can I say, it didn't taste good. The nachos were wobbly and tasteless and far too little dip

I ordered for the first time. The quesadilla de carne were really tasty, the salad was fresh! For dessert there were the cactus waffles and they were also very tasty and beautifully presented with fruit and chocolate sauce.

Were there 2 days ago, the restaurant was half empty, we were warmly welcomed until we announced ourselves with the city4two book and were immediately turned away, very unfortunate and unfriendly rejection.

You have to take some time, but the food is worth it. Delicious and freshly prepared. Very friendly and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere clean and tidy. There are also vegetarian and vegan versions of the dishes. Great, we'd love to come back I can only confirm the previous comment. Was delicious.

Solid Mexican food without any special highlights. Good portions and reasonable prices. Freshly prepared and friendly served. Parking spaces in the Ritterstraße or Q-Patk Karstadt car park. Not suitable for wheelchair users.

Simply delicious! The last time I had a burrito at a Mexican restaurant in the Nevada desert was many years ago and it was almost as good as the one I got here. And here in the vegetarian Vatiante with smoked tofu! It was super tasty. The fries were crispy, perfectly seasoned, the guacamole with real, fresh herbs, the mint lemonade with real mint and very tasty, the service was really hard-working and hard-working - it was our first but definitely not the last visit !

Meine Rezension geht ein auf ein Restaurant Besuch hier. Keine Bestellung über Lieferando usw. Wir waren spontan mit 4 Personen hier, da das Restaurant leer war und wir somit nicht weiter suchen mussten ohne vorher reserviert zu haben an einem Sonntag Abend. Die Kellner waren freundlich. Getränke waren gut, jedoch mit zu viel Eis bei den Säften. Bis das Essen serviert wurde, hat es gedauert, 4 verschiedene Gerichte und alle kamen zur gleichen Zeit. Alles warm. Auch Sonderwünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Uns hat es geschmeckt.

Haben letztens Tacos bestellt. Was wir bekommen haben waren Zutaten und Lebensmittel zum Selbstmachen von Tacos. Wir wollten fertige Tacos und nicht um zehn abends erschöpft noch eure Arbeit machen! Frechheit, dazu angeblich käseüberbacken, während der Käse lediglich frisch in der schale liegt! Wie soll auch etwas überbacken sein, wenn die Faulpelze die Zubereitung dem Kunden überlassen. Unglaublich. Noch nie erlebt sowas. Nie. Wieder.

Leider wurde bei unserer Bestellung über Uber Eats etwas vergessen. Die Mitarbeiter haben sich aber direkt gekümmert und das fehlende Essen sogar persönlich vorbei gebracht. Wirklich sehr nett. :) Das Essen war natürlich auch wie immer top! Ganz lieben Dank.

Nachdem der erste Besuch im Kaktus vor einiger Zeit top (!) war, hat uns der zweite Besuch leider sehr enttäuscht. Das Servieren der Getränke dauerte 15 Min., hinter der Theke herrschte das blanke Chaos, hinter uns wurde das Besteck poliert und lautstark in die Behältnisse geknallt, Bedienung zwar nett, aber unaufmerksam und total unorganisiert und 2 von 4 Gerichte wurde falsch serviert, wofür sich allerdings mehrfach entschuldigt wurde🙏 Das Essen war aber lecker und ausreichend👍

Wir waren gestern mit 6 Männern da. Man muss Zeit mitbringen. Essen super lecker. Personal sehr freundlich. Cocktails waren wirklich sehr gut. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen, weiter so. Preis Leistung war günstig.

Food extremely delicious- had a nice dish from the kid's menue although I'm already majored ... Wedges with Guacamole Dip plus 2 Enchilladas with Spinach and White Cheese

Doller Laden. Guter netter Service. Gutes Essen. Große Auswahl. Portionen zum Sattessen. Was will man mehr? Wenn man schon mal im trostlosen finsteren Bielefeld unterwegs ist, dann ist dieses Restaurant ein echter Lichtblick.

Wir fanden die Preise waren ein klein wenig zu hoch. Das Essen war aber ganz lecker.

Really enjoyed the fajitas here, only wish they came out with more meat. You can make about two tacos worth which does feel you wanting more. The rice, cheese, and tortillas are excellent too. Definitely recommend this for a lunch spot to try. The service is good but there’s only one guy the two times I’ve been there doing it all, so you may have to wait a while for your drinks if there are several tables seated.

Also das gute zuerst, Sehr nette Bedienung, man geht auf wünsche ein. Die Toiletten sind sehr sauber. Das wichtigste aber, ist das Essen wobei wir sehr enttäuscht sind. Es hat rein gar nichts mit mexikanisch zutun. Man bekommt eine arabische Version davon. Die tacos waren gar nicht saftig wie man es normal kennt. Der Preis ist dafür viel zu hoch. Also nichts besonderes. Die lemonade war aber sehr lecker. Würde ich fürs Essen nicht weiterempfehlen.

Sehr lecker die Boritos, kann ich nur empfehlen und Cocktail Happy Hours , 19 - 21 Uhr.

Es war mal richtig lecker und ein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Die Cocktail waren mal richtig gut. Wir sind voll Glück gesättigt und rundum zufrieden gegangen. Ein schöner Abend.

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Essen ingesamt lecker, aber a) m.E. nicht original mexikanisch (vllt. auch eine eigene Interpretation der mex. Küche) , b) Kartoffelspalten leider nicht gut (Covenience-Produkt). Preise angemessen. Gerne wieder.
