Very nice, large portions, very tasty food and fast and friendly service, even though it was very busy on a Saturday evening. My child was sad that he had forgotten his pocket money because he really wanted to give a tip for the delicious meal.

The food is always very good and beautifully prepared, and the price/performance ratio is also right. The small candy bar that everyone can help themselves to at the end is also nice. I always prefer to sit in the winter garden, which is very cozy at any time of the year and is ideal for a cocktail evening with friends. Tip: Please note the different promotional days, they are all on the website.

Literally the nicest mexican we have ever had, fresh quality ingredients. The owner is an absolute sweetheart too, grows his own organic produce and you can really taste the difference. The homemade lemonade was delicious too. A must visit!

Chicken as dry and hard as a rock

City for two was informed at the beginning and accepted. Nothing about the rules was communicated when ordering New colleague apparently didn't know. The comment that this was not communicated in this way was simply ignored. I was otherwise happy to be a guest but that's a no go.

If you want to try authentic Mexican food, come to Jalapeno. The owner has his food prepared with specially grown chillies and vegetables You can also clearly taste it. The tequila selection is also very large and recommended. I was even allowed to take a few chillies with me to plant at home :D

We only went to this restaurant because we were looking for tacos in town. Among the taco options, there were none with beef, so we ordered the fajita steak and burrito steak. Unfortunately, we were served chicken fajita (we didn't say anything because we wanted to remain polite). I also found the vegetables in the fajita to be neither fresh nor well cooked. The fajita steak costs 21 euros, the burrito steak also costs 21 euros, and a small beer costs 3.9 euros - so pretty expensive. The ambience of the restaurant is nothing special; when you sit in the garden you just look at the gap between buildings. Overall, we cannot understand the high prices for this restaurant and will definitely never visit this place again. We entered this restaurant only because we were looking for tacos in the city. Food was okay, nothing more, nothing less, quite salty, otherwise not very seasoned. The dips were very tasteless, and the burrito almost only had rice, which was okay... The shop is very nice though, the waiters were nice, maybe they were just having a bad day, but won't try it again.

Both the staff and the food are completely convincing. The beautiful ambience that radiates a cozy warmth combined with the Mexican sounds in the background complete the overall picture. It is one of the coziest restaurants in Bielefeld. Everything is beautifully decorated and lit with fairy lights. You feel like you're on vacation - also through the music. The staff is totally friendly and accommodating. The food tasted good and we didn't even finish the main courses, even though we are very good eaters...😉 The homemade lemonades are highly recommended.🍹😋

We ate upstairs, the food was great! but what really made it was the home made hot sauces! Absolutely delicious. Really friendly staff and really nice how they had decorated the terrace, knowledge of the ingredients and a gorgeous vodka lime shot that arrived with the bill. Yum. Had a great time.

It's a great location all around. The food is delicious and what's really great is that there are salsa parties there too. Very good solution that the lamps above the dining tables are pushed aside to create a dance floor. And what's more, the boss/staff are super friendly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+

Wir sind zufällig auf das Jalapeños gestoßen und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Wir sind keine México-Experten, fanden das Essen aber trotzdem super lecker, alles frisch und ansprechend angerichtet, Portionen definitiv ausreichend groß (die Burritos fast zu groß). Es gibt eine reichhaltige Auswahl auf der Karte und das Ambiente v.a. auf der Terrasse ist super nett. Hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit und Offenheit des Personals- wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt und hatten einen sehr schönen Abend.

We were with you on a Saturday evening with 9 adults. The food was once again really tasty. Everyone enjoyed it and everyone was really full. The service was great and friendly. None of us are vegetarians but even the vegetarian menus/offers were appealing to us. We'll be back 👍🏼

Something different than usual, nice service

Server ignored us for like an hour while taking other orders. The food is NOT MEXICAN. as an american and a human that enjoys flavor in my food, this place is not it. Who puts some of these ingredients in mexican food. A burrito should NEVER have zucchini, carrots, and corn like what is that, Before serving something that u call texmex/mexican maybe visit america or mexico. The food is bad, the service is bad, but the resturaunts atmosphere is awesome. Dont help them though. 10/10 would not recomend

Six of us ate there last weekend. Delicious! At the end the boss mixed us drinks with and without alcohol - on the house! He then told us about his passion for Mexican cuisine and showed us his photos of the pepperoni that he grows himself at home. Everything is fresh and homemade. Great value for money! Mexican restaurant on the 1st floor. For the first time there, pleasantly surprised, very clean, fast and friendly service, nice innkeeper. The owner or employee noticed our dissatisfaction and then served the drink we ordered from the menu. Next visit more than doubtful...

By far the best Mexican restaurant I've been to so far! The service is incredibly professional and personable, we celebrated a graduation there and every little detail was taken care of! ☺️ Afterwards there was something on the house from the boss himself :) So both the food and the staff are great, we will come back and can only recommend the restaurant!😊

The atmosphere is chic, even though it was very cozy and warm in the sun. But we wanted it that way and we could have implemented it. It was offered to us by the humorous and super friendly employee. I ordered a burrito. The spicy red sauce and sour cream really took the burrito to a new level. Fresh salad with delicious fries. The atmosphere is very nice and the great service made you feel right at home. The toilet was also super clean. I was surprised by the candy bar at the entrance. Really great idea! We will come back! The food is super good. Each time I had something different on the menu. The cocktails are also great and taste delicious. The only drawback is that it is always incredibly warm in the restaurant. And unfortunately makes the stay unpleasant. Even if it's full, you can get your food and drinks quickly. The resta6 is highly recommended

Wir sind begeistert! Das Essen ist wirklich super lecker und frisch zubereitet. Das Servicepersonal ist super nett und hilft gerne bei fragen und gibt Tipps bei bei der Wahl der richtigen Soße. Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass es bei uns kein vergleichbares Restaurant gibt, würden wir die Fahrt von einer Stunde erneut in Kauf nehmen.

Gerne wieder. 17 Uhr 2 Erwachsene 2 Kinder mit Kinderstuhl , super essen super Service. Ein bisschen ist das Ambiente abgenutzt aber dafür stimmt der Service mit dem Preis Leistungsverhältnis.

Sehr leckeres Essen und super freundliches Personal. Vor Ort Parken ist Innenstadt-typisch etwas schwierig, aber es lohnt sich. Klare Empfehlung.

Also dieses Restaurant kann ich nicht weiter empfehlen:( Das Personal ist unfreundlich und das Essen nicht authentisch. Das kann daran liegen, dass weder das Essen noch der Inhaber oder das Personal etwas mit der mexikanischen Kultur gemeinsam hat. Ich war wirklich unzufrieden. Ich habe dort viel Geld für nicht leckeres Essen ausgegeben. Sogar als ich dem Restaurant eine zweite Chance geben wollte, wurde ich wieder enttäuscht und es hat sich nix geändert. Ich kann den Besuch Vorort nicht weiter empfehlen.

Das essen war sehr gut, von der Menge bis zum Geschmack. Cocktail s waren auch sehr lecker. Service war top Ambiente war ebenso sehr gut. Werden gerne wieder kommen.

Nach meinem letzten Wrap hatte Ich eine Lebensmittelvergiftung. Das Essen hat mit mexikanischem Essen nichts zu tun und war auch ungeachtet der Nachfolgen, nicht wirklich lecker. Keine Empfehlung von mir.

Man wird schnell satt vom Essen und bei dem Preis ist es verdient ☺️ außerdem wird verpackt wenn man nicht fertig ist. Sieht man nicht bei jedem. Also meinetwegen hätze es 6 von 5 Sternen verdient und Chili Wettbewerb war auch der Hammer. Glückwunsch an den 1. Platzierten 😅

Ein richtig tolles Restaurant mit einem schönen Ambiente und einer wirklich sehr freundlichen Bedienung! Allerdings habe ich mich hinterher beim Bezahlen erschrocken! Deswegen einen Stern Abzug, weil mich/uns das davon abhält öfters extra von GT dorthin zu kommen! Dazu kommt noch das teure Parkhaus!!! 2 Std. 7,20€ zusätzlich!!! Grundsätzlich passt das Preisleistungs Verhältnis in meinen Augen einfach nicht so richtig! Trotzdem danke für den schönen Abend 😉

Jalepeno in bielefeld: een oke ervaring. De bediening was goed en het eten redelijk. Het karakteristieke van de Mexicaanse keuken; gedurfde en pittige smaken, kleurrijke presentatie en het gebruik van verse ingrediënten heb ik niet geproefd.

Ich war nun zum zweiten Mal beim Hot Chili Battle dabei und muss sagen... Immer wieder gerne. Die Moderatoren und die Chilis, diesmal andere als bei der vorherigen Veranstaltung, waren super. Zum Ende hin war es auch ein harter Wettkampf mit einem geteilten ersten Platz. Highlight ist auch immer die candy Bar

Der vegane Grillteller ist leider nicht zu empfehlen. Fettiges Gemüse und dazu zwei kleine phantasielose Dips mit zwei Mini Baguettescheiben. Leute,es gibt vegane Aioli o.ä. das ist kein Hexenwerk. Für 16,90 Euro sollte es schon schmecken. Zum Wein kein Leitungswasser auszugeben ist auch nicht sehr gastfreundlich. Wir gehen viel Essen in Bielefeld und ihr seid da tatsächlich bisher die einzigen die das nicht machen.
