Really bad service! The pizzas were average, but too expensive. My wine glass was still full of lipstick, and I had to return it four times. No apology—just annoyed looks from the waiter/owner. He also gave himself the tip because he overcharged us, which we unfortunately only realized afterward. He obviously doesn't mind providing bad service, as the area is always super busy and there will always be people coming. Very disappointed, and you don't feel welcome!

We dropped in on a Thursday with no reservation, the staff were extremely friendly. They managed to find us a table for 2 adults and 2 children, very attentive and friendly service. The food was delicious, we will definitely be back.

Today we ordered Rigatoni al Forno to take away. Fantastic value for money, great taste, easy to order over the phone, fragrant and hot when we got home, portions more than sufficient. We'd love to come back!

Service – schlechter Service – Ober im Canal Grande Wir wollten am Samstagabend aus besonderem Anlass ein Abendessen im Canal Grande genießen. Bestellung wurde aufgegeben, Wein und Gruß aus der Küche kamen. Als Vorspeise Bruschetta gewählt: Na ja, für 7,50€ 4 Scheibchen, aber klein wie Babyhändchen. Hauptgang bestellt: Goldbrasse und Seeteufel, geliefert wurde Fisch und Scampis - also alles wieder zurück, 2.Versuch hat geklappt; nur hat Herr Ober nicht bemerkt , dass einmal Besteck fehlte. Noch ein 2. Glas Wein wäre auch nicht schlecht?! Statt des bestellten Rose kam aber Weiswein. Ganz nebenbei bemerkten wir, dass auch an anderen Tischen der Wein falsch geliefert bzw. das Essen von 2 Tischen vertauscht wurde. Noch sahen wir über diese Unregelmäßigkeiten hinweg. Aber bei der Rechnung wurde dann auch die falsche Bestellung verrechnet. Also Rückerstattung eingefordert. Soweit so gut!! Habe mir dann erlaubt , den Herrn Ober beim Abschied zu fragen , ob er noch kurz Zeit hätte, denn meines Erachtens ist es heute nicht sehr zufriedenstellend gelaufen. Antwort KEINE ZEIT! --- Und weg! Dann noch ein 2. Versuch: Da kam ich aber nur zu einer Bemerkung und erhielt die pampige Antwort: SIE BRAUCHEN GAR NICHT MEHR WIEDERKOMMEN! ---- Und weg! Habe dann noch die Besitzerin getroffen, den Vorfall geschildert, von Verständnis geschweige denn eine vernünftigen Entschuldigung war nicht viel zu merken. Das war´s dann wohl mit Canal Grande!!

Once and NEVER AGAIN! Very inappropriate reaction to complaints, cheap pressed ham that was inedible, pizza chef made threatening hand gestures instead of taking the complaint seriously, drinks were brought incorrectly, invoice was issued incorrectly. Luckily there is a delicious Losteria just around the corner

Food to make you cry - service to make you laugh Improv theater performance titled: “How Not to Run a Restaurant.” When you come in, the waitress is in camouflage mode – eye contact? None. But then someone from the “Service Chaos” team came and led us to the table. From then on everything went in slow motion mode: !Half an hour! until you order, drinks with an experimental character (Radler de Luxe: soda on the bottom, beer on top, taste... difficult). Then came the starter – tomato mozzarella, better known as: “roughly cut tomato with sad mozzarella ball”. Balsamic vinegar? None. As a bonus, a mysterious cold eggplant platter with undercooked bread arrived at some point - ostensibly as an apology, but more than a second insult to the palate. Meanwhile, the pizza maker treated himself to a relaxing dinner. He probably wanted to make sure at least one person got good food. When the pizzas finally arrived, the dough was a bubblegum monster. Taste? Let’s call it “minimalist.” The person ordering pasta was only asked what he had ordered again after the pizzas were served - efficiency à la chaos. In terms of taste, the pasta consistently continued the culinary low level. As if that wasn't enough, the atmosphere in the HR department was like a reality show - with loud discussions and maximum chaos. The boss or cashier? Sound and visual on standby. You literally had to dance your way into view to be allowed to pay. Pay separately? "What is that?" thought the bill. The toilet experience rounded off the evening: without a towel – matches the rest. Conclusion: Anyone who is hungry and has a high tolerance for frustration will have an unforgettable experience here. For everyone else: it's better to eat somewhere else - or buy theater tickets directly.
