Solo Italia in München

Yesterday we were at Solo Italia again, now with new tenants. The service was great, very friendly and everything went super quickly, especially the food was at the table extremely quickly. I had a pizza capricciosa. Crispy edges and plenty of toppings. Yummy! I would have liked a little more spice. My companion had a Pinsa Mitica, which was good but very overloaded with toppings (sometimes a little less is more :-) ) and you couldn't really taste the truffle. I think it's great that there is now local beer with Giesinger Bräu. The prices are fair. It was very warm in the restaurant yesterday, which was unpleasant. Maybe this was supposed to simulate summer in Tuscany, but 2-3 degrees less room temperature would be pleasant and you would save on heating costs :-) The acoustics in the restaurant have always been bad, even in previous restaurants. It's very loud. In my opinion, a few acoustically effective ceiling sails (for which there is enough space) would bring a significant improvement.

My new favorite restaurant since the change of ownership at the beginning of October! We were in this restaurant yesterday with a larger group and we received an extremely friendly welcome. Very nice atmosphere, super delicious pizzas with a very thin base (that's exactly how it should be!) and perfect service! You can really tell that Michele and his team put their hearts into it and want to give their guests a completely successful evening. I'll definitely be back and will definitely try out a lot more from the varied menu... ...a clear recommendation for anyone who values ​​class rather than quantity! Apart from that, the portions are generous and the price/performance ratio is more than good! Keep it up!

Very welcoming place, friendly and knowledgeable staff especially the new innkeeper Michele. The pizzas are huge and excellent like everything else. Fazit: We had a wonderful evening and I recommend it to everyone.

New tenants, amateurish staff, what did you spend a month renovating??? It looks crappier than before and before it was nice and cozy. Uncomfortable (apart from the back part with a wooden floor), no knowledge of gastronomy (at least that's how it came across and btw. I've been working in gastronomy for 20 years🫡), the waiter annoyingly pushes me to order several times at 9 p.m. while sitting down us not even 5 minutes. As a small gift before the meal, there was a frozen baguette with a few olives without oil, not even slightly sweated in the pan, just carelessly placed there. I've never seen such unloving Italians 🤌🤌🤌🤌. To make matters worse, the pizza came to the table cold. The tables are now arranged far too closely in rows and rows next to each other. You constantly overhear other people's conversations... How my neighborhood is changing more and more for the worse is really frightening

Very warm welcome and great service all evening. We had a pizza and salad with salmon. Both very tasty, but could have been seasoned a little better. We had a great evening and will definitely be back!

Contrary to what is stated online and on the menu, there is NO gluten-free pizza here. When we asked why it was written that way on the map, we were told that the map was simply wrong.

Last night was a real celebration and I was able to really enjoy it with family and friends. Thanks to the quick service, we were able to eat in a relaxed manner despite having an appointment afterwards. Your needs are really taken into account here! Last but not least, even the management came to our table with a limoncello - from everyone at the table, WE WILL BE BACK!

Renovated this Thursday and reopened under new management. New menu and now with Giesinger Bräu. Friendly service and very good value for money. The salmon was to die for and the veal medallions were super tender and the vegetables were well done. The tiramisu was also a poem. We wish the whole team much success and look forward to the next visit.

It's really nice to sit on the terrace at Solo Italia, which was unfortunately the only highlight of our visit. We were greeted by a very unmotivated and unfriendly waiter who initially didn't offer us a table outside and, after we asked what was going on with the free table, put us off with the sentence "You can wait for it." “But it’s just not clean” (there were still dishes on it). He then turned away and disappeared without further comment. The waitress was very nice, so it's a shame to have to rate the service as poor. After the table was free for us, the food came before the drinks and there was no cutlery at the table, which was of course handed to us later. The quality of the food was below average and the prices for a pizza were rather high. The bad impressions may be an exception, but they definitely weren't good advertising for the restaurant.

Lovely place! The food was amazing and there are a green space beside there. For sunset you can have a nice experience. There are few waiters and can be difficult when the place is full, so you need be patient. For sure, I will came back

We had reservations for 6:30 p.m. When we arrived there were still a few seats available outside. We were seated and left after 30 minutes because we weren't served. Although there wasn't actually much going on... What a shame ☹️

When we arrived and asked the smaller, male waiter for a table, there was a table available right at the entrance. When asked if we could have this (it has to be cleared away first), the waiter said he 'has to clear it up first'. Then I said, we're happy to wait. The gentleman then turned around and as he walked away he said: 'Yes, you can wait'. Starter and a pizza (main course) came before the drinks, which wouldn't have been so bad. But this unfriendly manner was an impertinence. Unfortunately it was nothing.

There are very tasty pastas here, they make the meal smarter than many other Italian restaurants I know. Service was also great, ambience looks very nice.

If you go home hungry after dinner, then something is wrong. My friend and I had fish or schnitzel with baked potatoes and grilled vegetables. The baked potatoes consisted of 2 half mini potatoes and the rest was also more than manageable. The dish cost €20.50 per person. You can expect that you could be full. An impudence. The best thing about today's meal was the service. Fast and very friendly. But I don't mean the rude Indian. Goodbye forever. There are better Italians!!!

Pizza super tasty. But the service... probably haven't heard anything about friendliness. Or let's say a little politeness never hurt anyone, at least when it comes to tips! I know restaurants where you at least look at the customer when you take the order, or when drinks are served, if you give the guest a please, you might even get a treat. But no, that's probably too much for the gentlemen.

Yesterday we had dinner with 5 people. I've never experienced such unfriendly staff. After paying, you stand expectantly at the table and expect a tip, then you can't even say thank you or say anything. The staff definitely have the wrong job. The atmosphere there isn't the same either particularly. Pizza is ok. All in all, definitely not recommended.

Even though, the food was ok, it doesn’t worth coming. Drinks and the service were absolutely horrible. We had to wait for half an hour until the stuff finally sees us and brings us a menu. We had to wait another 20 minutes for them to take an order as well after we were waving and calling the waiter. When the drinks finally arrived, the waiter wasn’t able to tell us which glass has chardonnay and which has Weinschorle. An absolute disaster was, that one of the drinks was a wrong one. I ordered “cheeky bambino”, which supposed to be a basil infused limoncello based spritz, but I got something absolutely different, that tasted like an herby liquor and had mint in it. Clearly, it was a wrong drink. When I lost the hope, that a waiter will come to our table, I stood up and came to the bar myself and tried to explain the situation. Bartender tried to convince me that the drink “cheeky bambino” has no limoncello in it and that the mint in drink is a special type of basil… what a disaster not knowing your menu… Gladly, the other worker saw me explaining the situation and offered me to make a new drink. I received a drink and it was a correct one. One of the waiters was very arrogant and was asking us weird privat questions. He looked inadequate and probably drunk. Waiters were not able to bring us right amount of water glasses and cutleries. Unfortunately, we had to wait until they bring us forks. We started eating, when the food was already cold…. The management of this restaurant should take a better care of training their stuff properly and watch them serving people instead of being busy having a chat with each other. Otherwise, it won’t survive long.

Unfriendly staff who say absolutely inappropriate comments. As an Italian, I am actually used to a different kind of “hospitality”. The pizza looks better than it tastes. Centimeter thick layer of tomato paste with too much pesto. And in my opinion, that wasn't buffalo mozzarella on the pizza either. Can't understand some of the good reviews. Pizza is ok. Way too much tomato sauce. If you order alcoholic drinks you will be spoken to strangely. Like no alcohol? Endlessly unfriendly service. If you pay with a card you will be hit on! Not recommendable!

Franco best man! Pizza very tasty, thin and crispy dough, very good and high quality toppings. Finally something new instead of just Neapolitan pizzas... Cocktails are also good, no shortage of alcohol. Veal schnitzel delicious.

The ambience here doesn't seem as fittingly Italian as the food and service. However, the service was excellent and so was the food! The service was friendly!

Service was super unfriendly and disinterested. The starter platter included ham etc. from packaged discounter products, very bad. After we communicated this to the condition, there was no further demand or accommodation. We were also told at the beginning that there were also sweet pizzas, but this was subsequently revised by another colleague. All in all one can summarize, not recommended for the quality. It's a shame last summer it wasn't so bad.

Still by far the best Italian restaurant in Giesing. Reservation is recommended. Bruschetta one of the best in all of Munich. Unfortunately the Dachshund pizza pan broke. The pizzas so far have been really tasty and sometimes innovative. We're always happy to come back!

My Aglio Oli e Peperoncino came to the table cold, the pasta had no chili or garlic.

Waren gestern spontan zu fünft dort. Essen war spitze und auch schnell und auch sehr Kinderfreundlich. Die Portion für den Preis auch sehr groß. Nur zum empfehlen.

Super netter Service Pizza haben einen riesigen Umfang und sind lecker. Für meinen Geschmack ein Tick zu dünn aber sonst hervorragend!

Ein unterirdisches Erlebnis am heutigen Abend. Wir haben einen Tisch für 8 Personen für 17:00 Uhr reserviert und wurden zunächst mit den Worten begrüßt, ob uns 1,5 Stunden reichen. Auch sollten wir mal selber die Bierdeckel rüberbreichen… Die Sauce beim Vitello Tonnato war sehr dünn und ob es Kalbfleisch war, wage ich zu bezweifeln. Die Spaghetti Carbonara waren versalzen. Die Pizza war groß und lecker. Der Kellner hat jedoch alles an Niveau unterboten, was wir je erlebt haben. Nachdem wir ihn, nach einiger Wartezeit, höflich dazu aufgefordert haben, wg. der Kinder nun die Rechnung zu bringen, wurde der sehr unverschämt und hat uns angeblufft und sogar beleidigt. So etwas habe ich noch nicht erlebt und werde dieses Lokal nie wieder betreten.

Die Pizza war sehr gut - der Service leider unterirdisch. Der Frust des Kellners über die schlechte Personalbesetzung wurde leider am Gast ausgelassen.

Die Pizza schmeckt hervorragend, Wein genau so, richtig temperiert In dem Restaurant ist halt wie in Italien, aber in München. Wir kommen wieder, und das nicht nur einmal Mann sollte aber am Feiertagen reservieren, sonst bekommt man kein Platz,

bestellen hier öfters, waren auch schon vor Ort, immer wunderbare leckere Pizzen und Speisen, netter Service absolut empfehlenswert - große Portionen an Pizza!

Das Essen war wie immer sehr gut, aber der Service eher rustikal, mir fehlten Tischdecke und Asseccoires, alles war eher kahl

Zum ersten Mal im Restaurant, die Atmosphäre ist cool, die Leute sind freundlich und das Essen ist köstlich. Wir hatten bereits Birnenpizza mit Gorgonzola zum Liefern bestellt und sie war unglaublich lecker. Wir werden wiederkommen

Solides Essen, Pizza aus hauchdünnem Teig war lecker, der Service jedoch unterirdisch. Es startete vielversprechend mit der Reservierung per Telefon, vor Ort wurden wir dann leider enttäuscht. Der Beilagensalat wurde vergessen, was prinzipiell gar kein Thema ist. Der Umgang mit der vergessenen Teilbestellung jedoch war unmöglich, da wir für den vergessenen Salat verantwortlich gemacht wurden und sich zunächst geweigert wurde diesen von der Rechnung zu nehmen. Sehr schade - ein kundenorientierter Umgang wäre besser.

Weihnachtsfeier, viele Menschen, trotzdem schnelle Bedienung, nette Personal.

The pizza is good but the service is too much. I don't discriminate anyone, but there is one waiter too offensive, I just wanna enjoy the meal and chat with my friends, don't expect to waste time on interacting with him.

The waiter (bald, grey shirt) was amazing; great fun and very helpful as we don’t speak German. We would absolutely go again because of him!!

Super Service, Atmosphäre auch,Essen schmeckt

Waren des Öfteren dort zum All you can eat, es war immer super und es gab eine tolle Auswahl, deswegen noch die 3 Sterne. Gestern jedoch war es eine absolute Katastrophe und dem Preis nicht gerecht. An Pizzen gab es nur die reste Rampe, nichts außergewöhnliches und man hat nur drauf gezahlt. Der Pizza Bäcker war beschäftigt mit den zig tausenden Wolt, Lieferando und Co. Bestellungen und das Buffet war dann offensichtlich nur noch Nebensache und auch regelmäßig wie leer gefegt. Der Kellner versuchte mit seinem Charme und Witz noch zu retten was zu retten war aber zu zweit waren die beiden Herren mehr als überfordert. Auf Getränke musste man ewig warten, ebenso auch darauf das man was bestellen konnte. Selbst das Besteck mussten selbst organisieren nachdem wir 3 mal danach gefragt hatten. Ich hoffe es bessert sich wieder und sie finden noch mehr Personal. Für uns war es jetzt erstmal der letzte Besuch für eine längere Zeit. Sehr schade eigentlich.

Cooles Restaurant mit sehr sympathischen Servicepersonal. Danke an Oskar für den witzigen Abend. Essen war sehr lecker. Auch Sonderwünsche würden berücksichtigt. Zuerst kam bei mir die Pizza zwar falsch an, aber habe super schnell eine neue bekommen. Service also top! Was ich allerdings anmerken muss, dass die Karte eine etwas eigenwillige Sortierung hat. Etwas verwirrend 😄 Und das Pizzen als vegetarisch markiert sind, obwohl sie es nicht sind. Diese sind mit Parmesan und der ist nicht vegetarisch, weil er aus tierischem Lab hergestellt wird. Wäre super, wenn das angepasst wird. Vielen wissen das nicht. Die Portionen (Pizza) sind gigantisch. Was ein bisschen schade ist, weil man so satt ist, dass kein Nachtisch mehr passt. 😄 Das Restaurant ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen und ich komme gerne wieder
