Re Alarico in München

Locanda Re Alarico is an Italian restaurant that offers a variety of antipasti, pastas, pinsas and pizzas. There is even a board with daily specials. The desserts are worth a try. As for the main courses, the pinsas had less toppings than one would have expected and modifications to any of the dishes was not possible and frowned upon. The food is good overall, in particular the daily specials.

The best Neapolitan pizza in Munich

The first time we went there, the food was good. The pizzas were also baked with a lot of love, large and with lots of ingredients on them and mildly seasoned. We paid 56 euros for 2 people (including a small cold mini starter for 1 person and 2 drinks plus 2 pizzas). The restaurant was very loud that evening . Service was friendly. 2nd visit a few days ago to pick up the pizzas. I ordered the 2 pizzas by phone half an hour in advance. I arrived at the agreed time and it wasn't ready yet, even though the place wasn't that full. I paid 28 euros for 2 pizzas. They were the same pizzas that we ate in the restaurant back then, but this time there was hardly any seasoning. Unfortunately, these pizzas for 28 euros were absolutely not lovingly prepared and, the salami on one pizza and the seafood on the other pizza , you had to look for it on the surface. Pizzas had more edges than toppings. Some of the seafood I found on the topping was still frozen. All around a bitter disappointment. We were very, very disappointed compared to the food in the restaurant. In addition, the pizzas cost just as much, even if you pick them up yourself, as if you were eating in the restaurant. When you paid you were checked in. I can save these pizzas in the future and bake several pizzas at home for 28 euros. Never again.

We had a small celebration here and all guests were very satisfied with the food and the very attentive and friendly service. Many thanks to the whole team.

This pizzeria is a real insider tip for pizza lovers. The dough is incredibly airy and crispy at the same time. The ingredients taste fresh and harmonize perfectly with each other. The pizzas are always ready quickly and ready to be picked up hot. The crackling wood oven gives the pizzas a special aroma. Definitely worth a visit!

So far I have only picked up pizza and not eaten it on site - pizza has been very tasty every time. I can't say anything about the pasta.

There were three of us and we were thrilled with the food. We also enjoyed the open red wine, I can recommend it.

We have been ordering food here regularly for over a year. Yesterday we picked up our pizza tonno. Unlike usual, it hardly has any tuna on it and is much smaller than usual. It's a shame that savings are being made here!

A superb atmosphere with very nice servers. And above all, really good dishes. A must try if you are in Munich!

Very tasty pizzas and drinks. Despite a larger group, we got seats without a reservation on a Friday evening. The prices are completely okay. Would come back at any time!

Good food at reasonable prices. Beer garden in front of the house. Unfortunately, when the garden is full, the waiting time is a bit long. The waiter recommends not taking pizza because the waiting time is 45 minutes. Overall, still recommended, but you should be patient at peak times

Good Italian with a large selection of pizza and pinsa from the wood oven. Atmosphere like an Italian trattoria. Nice for dinner in the evening. I used to find bottled water really expensive here, now it's probably the usual price level for all Italians 🤷🏼‍♂️

Went to the restaurant for dinner at the end of a city tour. Caprese and Vitello Tonnato starter, followed by very good crispy pizza. Service very attentive and friendly.

Finding a pizza in Munich that is really as it should be has become very difficult. There is a lot of talk, big words and promises made, but the truth is often much more disappointing. At Re Alarico I finally found an excellent pizza, good ingredients, excellently baked. For me the best in Munich at the moment. But please change the lights in the restaurant, it feels like a warehouse. A tip for the weekend: Sit down at the table before 7 p.m., after this time the pizza may no longer be baked optimally.

The food is really a disgrace!! Ordered 2 x noodles via Lieferando. Never eaten so badly.

I picked up a pizza that was a little too doughy. Since it took 30 minutes, I don't fully understand it. It looked nice inside and the staff was normally friendly. The pizza was average. I thought it was fair priced

Very loud backdrop. Food would be delicious. Unfortunately my pizza was still raw in the middle (doughy) after it was returned it came back 10 minutes later - hot but still doughy. Other pizza and toppings were charred - went straight back. All the children's pasta dishes and lasagne were very good.

Pizza, ist sehr lecker. Der neue Büffelmozarella ist aber sehr gummrig. Lieber wieder weniger Büffelmozarella und dafür bessere Qualität

Pizza sehr gut, Spaghetti Vongole mit wenig Muscheln und vielen geschlossenen. Ambiente wird gestört durch sehr lautes Haus-Telefon mit aufdringlichen Klingelton, welches alle paar Minuten geläutet hat.

Mir wurde der Italiener von Freunden empfohlen und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Das Restaurant hat ein sehr schönes Ambiente und einen super freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Es gab eine riesige Auswahl an Pizzen und Pasta. Ich habe mich für eine Pizza Prosciuotto entschieden und ich muss sagen, so eine leckere Pizza habe ich noch nirgendwo sonst gegessen. Und das auch noch zu einem fairen Preis. Komme gerne wieder bei meinem nächsten Besuch in München.

Kein Eindruck der Gemütlichkeit! Pizza hat mit Italien nix zu tun, dick wie bei Pizza Hut. Wenig Belag - viel Teig.

Gutes Essen, war sehr nett dort

Pizza und Pasta in großer Auswahl und Sorgfalt zubereitet. Eine gute Auswahl an Weinen zu akzeptablen Preisen. Geeignet für Vegetarier, fleischesser und Fischgenieser allesamt. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung und allgemein ein exzellenter Service. Komme immer wieder gerne für einen schönen Abend vorbei. Ich würde gerne mehr Fotos anhängen aber das habe ich einfach vergessen aus lauter Freude am Essen.

Siamo stati attirati dalle tante persone che aspettavano fuori in terrazza per prendere posto. L'attesa era un po lunga siccome il locale era molto frequentato e I clienti continuavano ad aspettare fuori, ma vieni ripagato con un ottimo cibo e un atmosfera piacevole. I prezzi sono molto competitivi 7.50€ una Margherita forno a legna nemmeno in Italia la trovi. I camerieri anche sotto stress sono bravi. Veramente una bella scoperta. COMPLIMENTI VOTO 10.

Unser Lieblingsitaliener, kommen seit Jahren hierher und sind nie enttäuscht worden. Die Pizzen sind mega gut und der Service ist sehr aufmerksam

Toller, authentischer Italiener mit freundlichen Service. Die Pizza ist unglaublich lecker, es gibt viele verschiedene Variationen, sogar halb normale Pizza halb Calzone. Wir haben am Sonntag Abend nicht mal eine Reservierung gebraucht.

Leider war gestern zu aber da ich ja schon öfters was abgeholt habe komme ich trotzdem wieder Die Pizzen schmecken 1A und der Preis passt

Wollten heute dort essen gehen. Laut Öffnungszeitemschild hatten die offen. Fakt: es war geschlossen FunFact: uns wurde per Telefon versichert, dass an jenem Tag offen ist. Dafür noch satte 2€ Parkgebühr gezahlt, für nichts

Super Pizza. Service nach wie vor langsam und Unaufmerksam

Für mich eines der besten italienischen Restaurants in München und somit mein Lieblingslokal ohne Schnickschnack. Die Mitarbeiter sind immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Rand der Pizza immer schön fluffig, aber der Teig trotzem gut gebacken. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Pizza bestellt und abgeholt. Als ich ankam, lag die Pizza einfach auf dem Tisch. Keiner hat irgendwie versucht, die Pizza warm zu halten. Meine Pizza ist kalt. Hier erwarte ich doch mehr Engagement. Jetzt darf ich eine Pizza mit Ruccola drauf, aufwärmen. Super frisch

We've dined in once or twice before, but we usually order for pick up since we live down the street. I've never been disappointed with our meals here. Pizza and sauce is always on point. I usually always order the seafood spaghetti. It varies depending on the season and sometimes the cook. But always very tasty.
