We had a wonderful dinner. The pizzas were simply first-class. Very good value for money. The drinks were well-mixed. We would be happy to come back.

A good Italian restaurant not far from Ostbahnhof. The wine is a bit pricey, but it's really good. The Italian beer is excellent. And the food was delicious. Inside, they have an unbeatable ambiance, a fusion of old Munich and bella Italia. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. It was very busy even on a weekday evening. We'd happily come back.

I've been there countless times and have never had a single complaint. The pizza is incredibly delicious, and the pasta is also quite tasty! Sometimes the portions seem a bit small (e.g., just a main course with fish and a side dish), but you'll definitely be full! The pizza with 'nduja is an absolute MUST. It's also really nice to sit outside when the weather's nice, and the waiters are all very friendly. A reservation is definitely recommended! And it can get a bit noisy inside at times, but you can always have a good conversation.

Yesterday at lunchtime, I celebrated my birthday with a small group at Il Cigno. As always, the service was very friendly and the food and drinks were absolutely top-quality! This restaurant, run by a Sicilian family, has long been our favorite. The daily menu often features unusual combinations – yesterday, grilled liver on arugula salad with melon 🍉 It went absolutely well together and tasted great..... Thanks a million, Maria and Kurt

We ate outside as the weather was warm on that particular night. Plenty of tables outside in a cosy area of town. The pizza was good, very tasty bread bottom although the center part was a bit thin on bread and was a bit mushy which made it difficult to hold the pizza slice. Overall a cozy vibe, nice staff, and good food

We arrived very late and were pleasantly surprised by the welcome. The staff is really friendly. They made it clear that it was just pizzas. And they were delicious. And the desserts were a real treat. And the setting is truly beautiful. I highly recommend it if you're passing through Munich.

The visit was disappointing in several respects. The extremely unfriendly staff was particularly negative. Even more serious, however, was the behavior of some of the waiters, who made sexist remarks toward my companion – absolutely unacceptable and disrespectful behavior that lacked any kind of class. Even the food couldn't salvage the overall impression: the dishes were very bland and uninspired. Conclusion: An experience that one would have gladly avoided in this form. Unfortunately, there was no sign of professional service or good food here.

What a lovely evening! The pizza was incredibly good – especially the braised onions, which were simply divine. I've rarely eaten such a combination. The wine was also very well chosen and went perfectly with it. The service was incredibly warm, attentive, and yet completely relaxed. Nothing was complicated; everything just ran smoothly. You immediately feel at home. I'll definitely be back.

An Italian restaurant you can visit again and again, good pizza, okay pasta, okay service....more heart would be nice, but it's not rude at all... can be recommended, but it's not a highlight

Best place for authentic Italian cuisine, run by a lovely Italian family! We had pasta, pizza, and salads — all were a 10/10😍The salmon ravioli was outstanding. I’m usually not a fan of tiramisu, but the one at this restaurant was so good, I could eat it forever!

The pizzas are always delicious. Good dough, high-quality toppings, fresh from the stone oven. Prices are mid-range for Munich. Pasta and risotto are also good, although I once had the vongole, which tasted too strongly of fish. There's a nice lunch menu and a few tables on the sidewalk.

We dropped in on a Thursday with no reservation, the staff were extremely friendly. They managed to find us a table for 2 adults and 2 children, very attentive and friendly service. The food was delicious, we will definitely be back.

Have had pizza here a number of times as well as pasta. The pizza is always good, the pasta Bolognese was great one time and one time really terrible. I think they use different meats and it depends. The proportion of pasta to Bolognese is inconsistent as the flavor and the type of meat they use. Really disappointing. Wanted to love this place. The service is fine. Two times I arrived a few minutes after 9 PM, they are theoretically open till 11 PM and they told me the kitchen is closed. Very frustrating.

Highly recommended Italian with very friendly and competent staff. I've been here several times and have always been satisfied. At lunchtime there are also various pizzas and pasta dishes (most recently 5 of each and a small side salad) at reasonable prices.

An authentic Italian restaurant in Munich. with incredibly friendly staff. The food tasted absolutely fantastic. an atmosphere that attracts you back. A tip is to book before you come because it is a very popular restaurant so the risk of being fully booked is high.

The atmosphere and the service are amazing, I always have a great time when I go there. The pizza is also very good at times and just okay at others but definitely worth for a night out with good classic italian beer.

Even though it was busy, a small table for one person wasn't a problem. The order was taken promptly, the beer arrived immediately and the pizza only took 10 minutes. Service attentive and friendly. The pizza was very tasty. Successful short visit!

A super cozy little Italian restaurant. We went in spontaneously because we wanted to eat something before a concert. We received a warm welcome straight away and even though it was very full, we still managed to get a place for two people. We saw right next to the pizza oven, which is in the middle of the room and you can watch the great pizzas being made and otherwise it was just beautiful. The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long, the non-alcoholic Hugo was great and the staff was super attentive. It's definitely worth a visit again ☺️ So definitely go there. ☺️

An Italian for Munich residents, there are drinks like Spritz Hugo or similar, pizza and pasta. There is no meat and no special pizzas. Given the already high prices, the additional plate costs an extra 2 euros. Well, you can do it with the people from Munich. The kitchen closes at 2130 although it's Italian, I don't know that from Italians so 2330 is the least...

Pizza 🍕 I wanted a stone oven and Aparol Spritz, €24.90, but I didn't get a bill either, pizza base was black, still doughy in the middle, Aperol was really watery, but I was so hungry. Definitely won't come anymore, it's a shame

Very tasty spaghetti, delicious pizza and delicious tiramisu. The drinks like Radler, Russ etc. are unfortunately expensive at 0.4, but the food, ambience and service are authentic and absolutely delicious!

Eating great, canceling the order for artichokes also worked. The waiter came very quickly at the beginning and we waited over half an hour until we could pay. Aperol Spritz is a bit too expensive... even for Munich.

The ambience outside is inviting, the service is nice. But unfortunately the food was disappointing. The pizza parmigiana was a bit bland, the eggplant casserole was cold inside, tiny, hardly any eggplant and didn't taste good at all. Also far too expensive for €18.90. Unfortunately the last time for us.

Yesterday I went to Il Cigno for the first time in about 3 years, a classic, unspectacular Italian restaurant on Wörthstrasse. By now we're used to the fact that a non-Margaritha pizza costs over €12; but they charge €5.70 for half a wheat beer? It can't be a tourist surcharge, instead it smells strongly of greed inflation. In the end I paid €25 for 2 beers and a solid, by no means outstanding, portion of Rigatoni al Forno. It doesn't taste as good anymore. But good - people pay, the store was full...

Everything was great and especially delicious food!

Service was very friendly, that was it. Very little choice other than pizza. Salad expensive and carelessly prepared. Pasta dish from the daily menu (almost €20) was tasteless. Pizza were good. Price performance completely excessive. It was our first time there and we definitely won't be coming back.

It was an okayish Italian food place. Where pastas were too good but the Pizzas and drinks were average. Expected a much better taste as per the reviews and atmosphere.

We were really impressed by our visit to Trattoria il Cigno on a sunny afternoon. The spacious and cozy outdoor area offered a beautiful view. The service was extremely quick and attentive. The Aperol Spritz for €8.90 was refreshing and perfect for the ambience. The food was beautifully served and the lukewarm olives starter was deliciously prepared. The Stagione and Calabrese pizzas were larger than normal and delicious. Of particular note was the creamy carbonara with guanciale, which was just the right amount. Overall, highly recommended!

1st visit: Super super delicious pizza, great and nice service 😊🤝🏽 Italian and cozy atmosphere (music a bit loud but not unpleasant) 2nd visit: As always, really nice service, great pizza (with spicy honey 😍), spaghetti carbonara was fine. 2 guests had a birthday, which was very cool with cake and sparklers as a surprise. The whole place sang briefly 😂👍🏽

Wonderful restaurant with excellent food and a varied menu. You sit outside with a view of the wonderful Bordeauxplatz. Sitting inside is also very comfortable. The service is very friendly and accommodating! Il Cigno is an institution in Haidhausen.

Great carbonara with crispy bacon, wonderful! Vino Rosso slightly chilled, not cold, that's how it should be. You don't need the Italian hits that are a bit too loud, you feel like you're on vacation 😎

Nice half-Bavarian, half-Italian restaurant. Very tasty pizza with a choice of "normal" pizza dough or Pinsa dough, with chickpeas, rice and soy and a longer rising time, is crispier and a bit lighter. Delicious draft beer and good!

Food came out really quickly. Comfortable atmosphere. Friendly staff.

We were there with a group of about 10 people. Food and drink always came on time. The food was probably okay for everyone, but I saw the high edges of the pizzas on several plates that no one liked. The restaurant is too dark in the evening, so we had to use our cell phone flashlight to read the menu. I also found the ventilation to be inadequate. If the door doesn't open every now and then because new guests are coming, you can hardly stand it.

Very nice location, friendly staff who are sometimes a long time coming. Unfortunately, it is quite loud here, so it is sometimes very difficult to understand the others at the table. Some noise insulation would certainly be good in the old vaults...

I liked the food quite well, I would rate it as pretty average for an Italian restaurant. I didn't like the inattentive waiters and the forgotten things we asked for. The ambience is appealing, but the lighting in the evening is far too dark for my liking.
