The pasta wasn't good. The pizza was okay. The interior was very shabby. I wouldn't come back.

Feels like Italy.... Trattoria locale.

We stumbled upon this place by chance, and despite it being full, they found a table for four of us. The stone-baked pizza was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

My colleague and I were in Munich for a trade fair and ate at Al Vicolo Pizza & Birra two nights in a row, and we were absolutely thrilled. The selection of pizzas is huge and delicious. On the second night, we tried the fish dishes, which were also superbly prepared. Friendly service, a great atmosphere, and consistently excellent food – we'll definitely be back! 👍

A perfect evening with 20 people! We were at Al Vicolo with a group of 20 and were absolutely thrilled! The food was consistently delicious and of excellent quality. The organization was particularly impressive: Despite our large group, the food arrived fresh and quickly at all tables – a masterpiece! The service was absolutely breathtaking. I recently visited this pizzeria and was truly impressed by the attentive service. They took great care of us without being intrusive. The pizzas were crispy and perfectly topped, just as you'd expect. An all-around successful visit – highly recommended!

During a layover on our way to Italy, we were able to get in the mood with some real Italian pizza. The quattro formaggi is highly recommended! (I don't have a picture of it, unfortunately; the picture is of the margherita.)

We're staying in Munich for one night before heading home and happened upon this Italian restaurant. It was delicious 🤤 My child had lasagna, which was delicious. I ordered the carbonara because other reviews mentioned it without cream. What can I say, it's top notch!!! He's a friendly host. We felt at home, and if we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

Super rude boss = waitress! He serves alone or with a friendly assistant, who only receives orders and is therefore very insecure. She also only speaks Italian. The boss's manners are very bad. The pizza is very thinly topped, but very expensive. Cheap tables and chairs! The mixed salad consists almost entirely of lettuce. You have to hunt for the two wafer-thin slices of tomato and cucumber. If you want to pay, you are sent to the cashier and have to pay without seeing the bills. If you ask for them, you are insulted in Italian. There is no thank you for a 10% tip, and the bill is only given after repeated requests. Once and never again!!!

Once and NEVER AGAIN! Very inappropriate reaction to complaints, cheap pressed ham that was inedible, pizza chef made threatening hand gestures instead of taking the complaint seriously, drinks were brought incorrectly, invoice was issued incorrectly. Luckily there is a delicious Losteria just around the corner

The service is extremely unprofessional at lunch time. We went with work colleagues and we waited for >40 min to only order our food. When we asked nicely to order, we were told to shut up and to wait our turn. The Italian guy who is serving the guests is very aggressive and rude. Couple of our pizzas were finally served but cold and one was missed. Just have look at the other negative reviews, in each of them this restaurant is disrespectfully denying them! It’s the same way you are going to be treated at the restaurant. Never again!!

Wir waren hier für ein entspannten und leckeren Lunch unter Kollegen und haben einen guten Service angetroffen. Die Location ist etwas versteckt in einem Wohngebiet in der Schwabinger Parkstadt und klassisch eingerichtet. Das Essen ist super lecker, insbesondere die umfangreiche Pizzakarte ist für Liebhaber ein Highlight. Preislich ok und dafür sind die Portionen wirklich ausreichend. Die Getränke werden recht schnell und frisch am Tisch gebracht. Preis-Leistung bewerten wir am Ende als ok. Fazit: Toller Lunch in einem guten Italiener.

We were there with a group and ate pizza and pasta. The pizza was delicious, as was the pasta - but the pasta portions were very small. Our comment was ignored by the waiter or he suddenly didn't understand us anymore. When we pointed out again when paying that the portions were very small and therefore very expensive, we were told that - like in Italy - you could order an antipasto. ...

We've been there three times now and everything went well three times. The restaurant is inconspicuously located in a residential area. But for us it makes the visit special. Get out of the hustle and bustle of the city and eat in peace. The summer terrace is beautifully located in the backyard, but it is also pleasant to sit inside. Our previous meals (pizzas, pasta dishes) were very tasty and the portions were large enough. I can't say anything about the prices, as they have generally exploded in the hospitality sector in recent years, so I didn't find it more expensive than elsewhere. The service was friendly, the food came very quickly, but this time (Saturday evening) it wasn't as busy as on the previous two visits. It was probably due to the Oktoberfest and the Bayern game against Leverkusen at the same time. We'll definitely come back next time we're in the capital.

Salad, pizza and pasta are all delicious. I live close by, so I often get takeout. ——— I used to pick it up and eat it often, but I don't know what changed this time, but the price has suddenly risen to nearly 5 euros per plate of pasta and pizza, so I can't eat it anymore. Before, two pasta dishes and a salad cost about 30 euros, but now it costs over 40 euros. Goodbye~~

Pizza ok, not excellent but not bad either. Only negative point is the pricing of water: almost 7€ for 0,5L water is far from being correct...

There were pieces of glass in the bruschetta. After we pointed this out in shock, the food was taken away from us without comment and some of it (2 instead of 4 pieces) was brought back, even though we didn't want anything new at all. The owner (we assume?) accused us of saying the glass shards were from the drink (which obviously wasn't the case), but unfortunately there was never an apology. We got up straight away and left, and we were still charged for everything. Food looked okay, but service and customer orientation were 0, definitely don't go here!! There is a L'Osteria around the corner, better enjoy good food there! 🇮🇹 Edit: Sorry, but the reaction from the restaurant to this review is a disgrace and says everything about their ability to take criticism and deal with difficult situations. I have never experienced such subterranean irritating behavior before.

This is the best pizza I have had since I was in Italy. The service was fast and attentive, the pizza, mine was Fantasa with beautiful burrata cheese, prosciutto, and the crust was devine. Very reasonabally priced. Amazing!

Locale carino situato in zona tranquilla a Monaco di Baviera (zona Alte Heide). I prezzi sono molto buoni, anzi direi che per Monaco di Baviera sono eccellenti. Abbiamo preso sia la pizza che un primo. Il primo (pasta alla carbonara) ottimo davvero. La pizza invece non mi è piaciuta particolarmente. Personale cordiale ed esperienza positiva.

I'm excited! Best pizza in the world! I was able to reserve the table online without any problems, the staff is still "truly Italian", attentive and friendly. The food and drinks came super quickly and the ambience was also very nice. You can sit inside, outside or in the winter garden. The Fantasia pizza was incredibly tasty. By far the best pizza of my life! The prices were okay too. You can park nearby on the street. The restaurant is located in a modern residential area. I hope my review was helpful.

We have valued the pizzas very much for many years. They are very tasty. However, we only recommend taking it with you. When eating in the restaurant, the service is very poor, with a possible waiting time of 60 minutes. The portions of pasta are becoming smaller and smaller, and even children are no longer full. It's a shame that you have to switch to the L'Osteria chain around the corner when it comes to service quality and price-performance ratio.

We were in Munich for a long weekend and then found this Italian restaurant and we were very satisfied. We have never eaten such good pizza in Germany. The pizza is large and the price is completely reasonable. We felt very comfortable. If we come to Munich again, we will definitely come back :) Grazie mille 🤗

The service team tried hard and the selection of dishes was very large, supplemented by a current weekly menu. Thanks to the wide selection, everyone will be able to find what they are looking for here. A number of the wines were no longer available, unfortunately including some that were not already marked as “out”. We then chose another wine based on the employee's recommendation, which was also ok. The food was delicious, unfortunately no bread was served with the starter plate, which would have complemented the selection of vegetables, salami, ham and cheese very well. The pizzas are very tasty, the dough is well made and baked crispy. Unfortunately, the tables are too small and very cramped, and the chairs aren't comfortable enough for us either.

How lucky that L'Osteria was so crowded last night 😎 Otherwise we would never have come across Al Vicolo Pizza & Birra. The starter - a red shrimp tartare - was as unexpectedly fresh as I've only ever seen in Scandinavia. And both the pizza and the tiramisu tasted like they were in Italy, really fantastic. The whole thing was rounded off by really good service, we will come back on our next visit to Munich!

The preparation like in Italy... in addition to pizzas, there was also pinsa, which is also a very tasty alternative. I will gladly come again! Update September 20th: as described above, the best Italian I know in the area. Definitely 5 stars.

I liked it! The place had a wonderful atmosphere - lots of chatter and friendly service. The pizza selection was wide. The pizzas were tasty and reasonably priced.

Had a nice business lunch. The pinsa was very tasty. I asked for spicy oil. When paying they wanted 1 euro for the spicy oil. .. When asking about the oil, they didn't mention that the oil costs anything. The Pinsa costs 21.60 and then I find it audacious to ask for an extra 1 euro for a few drops of oil without notice. Therefore very tasty, nice staff. But please think again about whether the oil is really necessary. Has had a very negative impact on my positive impression.

Attention, hysterical waiters with no claim to good gastronomy! First I was forced to drink something, then my order was not properly understood (I said Pizza Rucola, like the ones on the beach by the sea, and got an outrageously small Rucola for 10e). The pizza was dry, so I asked for oil. I got this after 7 minutes. Then the pizza was cold. When I paid I even had to pay for the oil. The salad, well, can happen... but paying for oil for pizza is just greedy and audacious. When I said I didn't want to pay for the oil, the waiter immediately became hysterical. Not a second time.!! I wasn't full either. The garlic clove was decent though! Hehe

Ich kann meinem Vorschreiber nur vehement widersprechen: Die Pizzen waren hervorragend, der Service sehr nett. Und ja, die Auswahl an Pizzen ist riesig und das Lokal ist sehr voll, aber eben auch authentisch! Im Gegensatz zur angesprochenen "Alternative" Losteria kann ich dieses Lokal absolut empfehlen (und ich kenne sehr viele Pizzerien in München und Umgebung), das andere hingegen ist eine der typischen Ketten-Restaurants, unpersönlich, auf Durchsatz und Profit ausgelegt! Ich weiss wirklich nicht, in welchem Lokal mein Vorrschreiber war, ich finde so etwas eine Unverschämtheit! Und ich bin nicht mit dem Lokal verbandelt oder bekannt, war gestern zum ersten Mal da!

The Al Vicolo pizza was a good portion, very well prepared and tasted very good. The only reason why the service only gets 4 out of 5 stars is the fact that I don't speak Italian myself, but most of the staff that evening don't speak German either. But I have to admit, I didn't try English either. Still very good and recommended.

We ate: 2 seafood starters, 2 pizzas and dessert, all very good, we will definitely return when we are in Monaco again...

Delicious pizza. From the dough to the toppings, everything tasted good with the Diavolo and it wasn't as overloaded as you often see. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was nicely decorated and the bathroom was clean 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Katastrophe!!! Es gibt eine Weinkarte da werden aber nur ganze Flaschen ab 30€ angeboten. Die Weinauswahl in der normalen Karte sind genau 3 Stück. Personal unfreundlich, schimpft hinter dem Rücken auf Italienisch gegen die Gäste. Essen schmeckt nicht. Preise viel zu hoch. Ambiente nicht schön. Essen kommt auf Defekte abgeschlagene Teller. Nie wieder. Geht lieber um die Ecke in die Losteria.

Echt sympathischer Italiener ,war mit Kollegen hier zu Mittag. Getränke kamen flott .Pizza eben so flott wie Pizza aus dem steinofen kommt ,wenn sie frisch ist . Wir waren uns alle 3 einig,dass es eine handwerklich hervorragende Pizza war und für den Preis kommen wir jetzt auch öfter.

In realtà ci piace essere qui spesso. È bello sedersi sulla terrazza, il servizio è cordiale e il cibo è buono. Si nota l'inflazione, le porzioni diventano sempre più piccole, ma tutto è ancora entro i limiti. Purtroppo il proprietario ci ha fatto capire che personalmente non crede nell'ospitalità. Dopo che avevamo già fatto 60 euro di vendite con cibo e bevande per tutti, ho chiesto personalmente al bar un drink di acqua del rubinetto per mia figlia e ho portato con me anche il bicchiere usato. Il proprietario è venuto subito e mi ha spiegato in modo molto scortese che si trattava di un ristorante e che dovevo comprare dell'acqua in bottiglia. Ha ribattuto al mio suggerimento che ogni ristorante rispettabile in Italia abbia una caraffa di acqua del rubinetto a tavola con: sono il benvenuto a mangiare in un ristorante rispettabile. E quando compro un caffè, prendo anche un bicchiere d'acqua. Sfortunatamente, il mia bambina di quattro anni non beve caffè. I dipendenti, che fanno tutti un ottimo lavoro, erano ovviamente imbarazzati. Capisco che alcuni albergatori non servono l'acqua del rubinetto perché hanno paura di perdere le vendite. Non ho chiesto l'acqua invece di comprare qualcosa, ma dopo aver già ordinato da bere per tutti. Non ho chiesto se potevo avere gratuita un bicchiere d'acqua, solo se potevo prenderne uno. Altri ristoranti a Monaco fanno pagare 50 centesimi per la pulizia del vetro. È un peccato, ci è sempre piaciuto essere lì.

Ich finde, bei den Speisen passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. 4-Käse-Sauce wie aus der Knorr-Tüte, dünn und geschmacklos. Pizza für 19,80 € kein besonderes Erlebnis, Cappuccino nicht richtig heiss. Personal sehr eifrig, das macht die zu teuren Preise aber nicht wett.
