You immediately feel the elegant atmosphere of the restaurant. The team is incredibly friendly, it was an unforgettable experience, and the food speaks for itself. The bread holds a special place in my heart. Many thanks to Franco and our friends who introduced us to this gem.

Little gem in Munich with small menu but very delicious

Excellent ambiance, very attentive service, and a fantastic selection of dishes! Everything was perfectly balanced, not overdone! A dining spot that has impressed me for the first time in a long time. A fair 5-star rating!

In einem Innenhof an der Maximilianstraße gelegen, so dass man dem Trubel entgehen und in Ruhe sich unterhalten und leckeres Essen genießen kann. Der Innenhof ist gemütlich gestaltet und in Inneren des Lokals sind auch einige Plätze vorhanden. Familiäre Gastgeber und gutes Personal. Die Tagesgerichte stehen auf einer Tafel und da ist von vegetarisch, Pasta oder Pesce immer was dabei, so dass jeder was findet. Preise ortsüblichen und Portionen eigentlich ausreichend groß. Umfangreiche Weinauswahl vorhanden. Gerne wieder!

Fine noble Italian from Sardinia with excellent cuisine in a small restaurant with only a few tables. It is therefore strongly recommended to make a reservation. From March to October there are still a few tables in the cozy courtyard, which significantly increases capacity. Very friendly boss and employees

Very friendly service, delicious food. But: the seating inside is a bit cramped, making it difficult to feel intimate. Nevertheless, it's very welcoming and good.

I should actually write how awful this sweet restaurant is, so that as few people as possible miss this idyllic spot. In the summer, there's seating in the lovely courtyard not far from Maximilianstraße, and in the winter, in the small dining room. The owner and staff are consistently service-oriented and very, very friendly. The changing menu reflects the size (or should I say "small") of the kitchen. The quality has been consistently very high on my many visits! Whatever is on the menu is delicious. However, a reservation is a must, in my opinion! I give Max Trenta a thumbs up!

Excellent food in a beautiful courtyard right on Maximilianstr. You sit quietly without the noise and hustle and bustle of the street. We particularly recommend the Taglionin al Tartufo. They may “swim” in butter but they are absolutely worth every forkful. The staff is always very friendly too. Terrific ! Thanks

An oasis of peace and enjoyment in the middle of Munich. For years we walked past a great restaurant without knowing anything. But now we will eat there very regularly. The menu is very well chosen. Everything looks really great and tastes divine. MUST try pacheri with salsiccia. A true revelation for me. I haven't had such good Italian food since Sicily. Many thanks to the service team and the kitchen. We will 100% be back!!

I passed by this street so many time and never noticed the restaurant. Was pleasantly surprised about this gem of a quiet place. Food was good although pricey, but it comes in a beautifully quiet place. Will return.

Italy vacation in the middle of Munich! Very nice, quiet guest garden to relax and enjoy away from the hustle and bustle. Authentic Italian cuisine, extremely nice service, pure taste like in Italy! We were there twice and will definitely be back! I would like to give 10 stars, but unfortunately that's not possible.

An outstanding restaurant experience! The chef creates magic with attention to detail, supported by his enchanting fairy assistant. Timy,, creates a warm atmosphere in which you feel like you are with your own family. A great team.

Unfortunately, the Italian food in the restaurant was only mediocre. The owner was unfriendly and seemed to have little understanding of wine. Unfortunately, the recommended Sauvignon Blanc, usually known as a good dry wine, was surprisingly sweet.

A charming little restaurant in the middle of town! A little oasis in the backyard, away from the stress of shopping. A very good tasting Italian / Sardinian cuisine! A convincing good wine list for the palate! I can recommend it to anyone who wants to take a break!

Schöner ruhiger Ort mit sehr netten Service und leckeren Essen. War bereits öfter da und komme immer gerne.

Schönes Ambiente im ruhigen und idyllischen Innenhof Guter offener Roero Arneis und das Gerichte Brot war auch gut. Zur Küche,das Vitello Tonnato hätte ein bisschen saftiger bzw. rosa sein können ( wurde wohl etwas zu lange gegart) die Fettuccine mit Pfifferlingen haben irgendwie nur nach Nudelwasser geschmeckt und nachdem ich im Vorfeld viel gutes über ausgefallene und geschmacklich gute Pasta Gerichte gehört hatte,war meine Erfahrung dann doch etwas ernüchternd Service solide,preislich für die Maximilianstrasse in Ordnung

We came at 8:20pm asking a table to dine for two, there were several empty tables but we have been told that the kitchen was closing. Closing time is suppose to be at 10pm… Pretty annoying

Sehr schönes kleines Restaurant, ein bisschen versteckt in einem gemütlichen Hinterhof, bei gutem Wetter mit Tischen im Freien unter Sonnenschirmen. Tolle, frisch zubereitete italienische Gerichte von einer Tageskarte, freundlicher Service, entspanntes Ambiente -- besser wird's nicht!

Ein Ort, der mich bereits im Vorübergehen fasziniert hat. Durch den edel anmutenden Gang von der Maximilianstraße aus, gelangte ich in diesen kleinen, feinen Hinterhof, der Besonderes versprach. Eine gut ausgewählte und vor allem überschaubare Karte, zeigte mir bereits, dass hier gekocht und nicht wahllos erwärmt wird. Meine Pasta mit Trüffel kann ich gar nicht wirklich beurteilen, weil ich Butter nicht vertrage. Alle Speisen um mich herum sahen gut aus und die Gäste schienen überaus zufrieden. Eine ausgesuchte Weinkarte erfreute mich und ich habe mich gut beraten gefühlt. Ein wenig stilvolles Italien wurde durch eine ausgesprochen angenehme Freundlichkeit des Personals und dem Weglassen von Chi-Chi zu einem rundum empfehlenswerten Ort gezaubert. Danke.

Sehr feines Essen - super nettes Ambiente - tolle Weine unter anderem vom Familienweingut aus Sardinien und perfekter Service. Der Chef ist immer anwesend und kümmert sich wie der Rest des Teams liebevoll um seine Gäste - wir kommen sehr gerne , fühlen uns sehr wohl dort und können es nur weiterempfehlen!!!!!

Ein gemütliches und trotzdem gehobenes Ambiente und der chefs des Hauses ist beliebt und sehr freundlich! ich kann dieses restaurant nur empfehlen, vor allem für wein Liebhaber ist dieses restaurant ein Paradies. Klein aber fein und im Sommer die schönste location nach dem shoppen, da die Terrasse mit einem schönen Brunnen und wunderschönen Hortensien geschmückt ist. Zusammengefasst einfach erste klasse!

Wir waren auf Empfehlung dort, das Essen war gut aber es hat unsere Erwartung nicht getroffen. Der Gastraum ist viel zu klein, die Tische sind viel zu eng gestellt, man kommt kaum hinter den Tisch und kommt dabei den Speisen am Nebentisch viel zu nahe. Für uns war das sehr unangenehm. Sehr unangenehm auch die integrierte kleine, total offene Küche. Irgendwann konnten wir den Geruch des angebratenen Fisches nicht mehr ertragen. Die Dame im Service war sehr freundlich, weniger freundlich und nur den Stammgästen zugewandt war der Chef des Hauses. Fazit: in München kann man besser essen und ein viel besseres Ambiente genießen, einfach wohlfühlen wie wir es von München seit Jahrzehnten gewohnt sind.

Sind häufig zum Mittag- oder Abendessen im Max Trenta. Kleine, feine Speisekarte. Sehr nette, intime Atmosphäre und ganz toller Service. Freuen uns immer auf eine Mahlzeit mit super Wein

Fantastic little Italian restaurant in a quiet and cozy location close to Munich’s buzzing Maximilianstr.. The food is delicious staff is friendly and there is lovely terrace style seating in front of it. Reservations are highly recommended.

Perfectly cooked fish. Excellent soup. Dark chocolate mousse dessert was very nice. Priced reasonably. Would come back again.

Ein sehr schönes ganz kleines Restaurant mit einem tollen Innenhof. Direkt an der Maximilianstraße, leicht zu übersehen, lebt deswegen wahrscheinlich hauptsächlich von Stammkundschaft. Eine Speisekarte gibt's nur anhand einer handgeschriebenen Tafel, kleine exzellente Auswahl z.T. an sardischen Gerichten. Einen tollen sardischen Weißwein getrunken. Der Espresso war ebenfalls wirklich sehr gut! Sehr freundliche und kundige Bedienung. Und vor allem in der Lage ein tolles Preis-/Leistungsverhätnis! Hat wirklich alle Voraussetzungen für ein Stammlokal... 😊

Ich war mit Freundin letztens dort und wir waren begeistert. Das Restaurant ist in einem Hinterhof gelegen und relativ klein und schön eingerichtet. Das Essen war natürlich auch super. Ein perfektes Restaurant für einen entspannten Abend.

I've passed the sign to this place several times without stepping into the back courtyard where it's located, and I'm glad I did. It's a tiny place, very authentic Italian food, very cosy feeling. Menu deals are at nice price, other then that a bit expensive, though considering Munich and specifically this area, understandable. Service was very welcoming.
