We expected much more based on the good reviews. The price-performance ratio is poor. Frozen dishes are served for overpriced prices. The service was very attentive, but a bit unfriendly.

Great family owned place with mother and son + a tight knit team creating an amazing atmosphere that is a mixture of warmth, welcome, friendliness, relaxation and enjoyment. The food is always creative & super delicious. The wines are great. What more can you ask for? Adding a new section to my post in Nov 2020... covid lockdown: Il Gattopardo is offering delicious take away, allowing its customers to enjoy some of that amazing experience at home during this very difficult and depressing time for everyone.

It was the best restaurant I had in Munich! The hospitality of the staff was also great, and I would like to visit again if I come to Munich again. The appetizer was thinly sliced ​​baked potatoes topped with plenty of black truffle, and the tagliolini pasta with black truffle was especially delicious! It was a hot June day when I visited. Extremely convincing Italian cuisine in an authentic style! The food is consistently excellent and the service is very friendly. The open kitchen gives a great insight and is proof that there is no trickery going on here. Overall, an impressive evening.

Booked to meet friends, one Italian foodie and some wine lovers. Loved the place, or maybe coz we were all in a good mood. Plus Schwabing itself is a cute area. Food was delicious, wine was excellent and the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. The table area is small but feels close and cozy. Service was always timely and everything was loud and clear. Would love to go again, but NEED TO BOOK EARLIER. We were happy to find a slot but had to finish before who was coming later. I miss it already…

Italy in the heart of Munich Excellent every time - for years.

I think I speak for many people when I say: Anyone who has never been here before will simply find this new discovery great! However, if you've been here before, I'm sure you'll be even more excited about your next visit (or at least that's what we felt after our visit today)! It's hard to describe an evening like that, but it's quite easy to describe this one to take in the special Italian atmosphere. We can really recommend it, even though we were there spontaneously for the first time just recently. We were very fascinated by the look into the open kitchen and of course the food was impressive too, but it was more the overall package that made it! It's really extremely rare that everything from the reception to the farewell is satisfactory. An incredibly attentive service, a wine list with a wide range and a warm family atmosphere. A huge compliment 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Our absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Munich! Not only is the cuisine always great and takes into account seasonal ingredients, the latest trends and delicious classics, but the service with Sandro and Daniele is also worth highlighting because the two of them look after the guests with a lot of love, uniqueness and empathy. We always go home with a huge smile! If you haven't been here yet, you definitely have to experience this beautiful atmosphere with all the great delicacies on the menu! Must try: Grilled octopus with wild garlic cream as a starter 🥰 We are already looking forward to the next time!

We found this place while traveling to Munich. Upon entering, the host was friendly and greeted us. Thr atmosphere was great. The food was great, living up to our expectations, except for a tad too spicy. Throughout the meal, the service was minimal. We believe our waiter had a bad day as it seemed like he didn’t want to serve us, or maybe cause we didn’t order any alcoholic drinks. Anyhow, came the bill and my wife punched in the tips and tried to tap to pay with her VISA, but the machine declined the tap. The waiter took the machine back, reentered a few things and handed the machine back to her for the VISA chip insert. Without reviewing the tip that was entered, my wife processed the payment. After we left, my wife noticed that the amount of tip was more than what she originally entered. In conclusion, the waiter gave himself a big fat tip without our consent.

I had dinner at Il Gattopardo yesterday and I really enjoyed it. The service was very courteous and attentive, the food was terrific. We had a pasta and the tuna with mustard sauce… really a dream. The dessert was also great. For me a completely new experience of Italian food in Munich... very innovative, very creative... a bit next level somehow. It was really great… all around. I'd love to come back.

Eine kleine italienische Oase die wenn man betritt,garnicht mehr gehen möchte…. Klein immer was los,einfache aber gute traditionelle Pasta Gerichte und eine wunderbare Theke mit vielen italienischen Aufschnitt Delikatessen. Ob Guanciale Speck,Pecorino Käse oder Coppa Schinken alles hier erhältlich,ach und übrigens die „Beste Mortadella“ in der ganzen Stadt!

Cibo fantastico. Alcune portate le ho trovate molto più buone che non in molti ristoranti in Italia. Ottima qualità delle materie prime. Ottimo il servizio. Non so il prezzo (eravamo ospiti), ma è stata una vera esperienza. Bravi!

Von Vorspeise bis zum Nachtisch schmeckt alles super! Keine Standard Karte, sondern feiner und auch saisonaler. Habe Ravioli mit Wolfsbarsch Fisch genommen, kann ich nur empfehlen. Nachtisch haben wir Lava Torte mit mascarponecreme genommen… so ein Genuss!

Wirklich top Restaurant mit überschaubarer aber sehr gut durchdachter Karte, gespickt mit auserlesenen Gerichten. Offene Küche und sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Hier merkt man, dass die Köche wissen was sie tun. Geschmacklich sehr gut und das rexhtfetigt auch den leicht überdurchschnittlichen Preis. Klare Empfehlung

Ich finde da passt alles. Nichts ist herausragend, aber auch nichts schlecht. Essen kann man alles, Service auch gut… also ich bin gern da, aber es ist nichts besonderes wie es früher mal war!

Ich war in München schon wirklich viel italienisch Essen aber dieses Lokal war mir neu. Der Raum ist klein,die Karte übersichtlich,die Ausstattung ist nicht die eines Luxusrestaurant,aber dafür die Preise ebenfalls nicht! Vermutlich ist dieses Lokal im Grossraum München eines der wenigen wo die Relation zwischen Kosten und Nutzen stimmt. Ein echter Geheimtipp für Genießer,denen es weniger auf die Verpackung ankommt als auf den Inhalt.Sehr viel Genuss was die exzellente Küche und die erlesenen Weine bestrifft,zu einem erstaunlich moderaten Preis. Danke an das Team,die einen wirklich ausgezeichneten Job gemacht haben,so dass dieser Abend in Bester Erinnerung bleibt. Sehr gerne wieder...

The food is just ok for the price, we sit inside and the atmosphere in the restaurant was not great, I guess is more interesting when you sit outside. Also the staff was not very friendly.

Bester Italiener der Stadt! Ohne Diskussion!

Wir haben direkt Brot und einen Gruß aus der Küche bekommen (beides super lecker und frisch). Zur Vorspeise haben wir Vitello Tonato und Oktopus mit marinierten Zucchini bestellt. Beides war super und hat die Erwartungen für den Hauptgang bereits hoch gestellt. Zum Hauptgang habe ich Trüffelspaghetti bestellt. Das Gericht hatte die perfekte Menge an Trüffel und hatte reichlich Olivenöl. Am Ende war dann noch Öl übrig und wir haben explizit zum tunken noch mehr Brot angeboten bekommen, was ich super fand :) Die Bedienung war auch sonst eigentlich immer super nett und aufmerksam! Meine Familie hatte jeweils andere Gerichte, aber alle waren sehr zufrieden. Die Gerichte sind alle mMn mehr als preiswert und das Ambiente mit der kleinen Küche (aus der immer Mal wieder kleine Stichflammen hervorschossen) war super familiär und man hat sich direkt willkommen gefühlt.

Unfassbar schönes Restaurant in Schwabing. Eine tolle Karte, super Küche, family owned, individuell, authentisch, unglaublich zuvorkommender Service. Wirklich outstanding. Quasi eine zweites Wohnzimmer. Top tip! Ich komme wieder!

Bellissimo è buonissimo, il cibo è ottimo anche esteticamente è molto bello. I prezzi sono onesti. Consigliatissimo per quelli che sono nelle vicinanze.

Immer wieder eine grosse Freude sich in diesem kleinen italienischen Restaurant mit köstlichen Gerichten verwöhnen zulassen. Die Stimmung ist heiter und entspannt.

Das Vini und Panini ist ein kleines Tagescafe oder Ristorantino mit kleinem Mittagstisch und großer Auswahl an italienischen Spezialitäten wie Lardo Coppa Parmigiano oder Mortadella Nicht ganz billig aber qualitativ hochwertige Produkte

návštěva restaurace splnila očekávání, jídlo bylo velmi chutné, personál vstřícný, obsluha rychlá, káva i víno výborné. Do 18 hod. stůl bez větších problémů, později velká fronta na místo u stolu. Pro rychlé, chutné jídlo doporučuji. Romantiku nelze očekávat, i když restaurace je velmi vydařená.

Da wohnt man jahrzehntelang in dieser schönen Stadt, ist auch noch hier geboren und noch dazu in Schwabing und kennt diesen wunderbaren Laden nicht! Das kann nicht sein. Fremder! Auch wenn du nicht hier geboren bist: Komm in dieses schöne Lokal. Und nimm deine Frau mit und deine Freunde. Und wenn du ein gutes Business machen willst auch deine Geschäftspartner.

Kleinod in Schwabing. Eine wunderbare Antipastitheke empfängt uns am Eingang und lässt auf mehr hoffen. Die Speisekarte wird an einer großen tafel präsentiert. Unkompliziert werden hier kleine schmackhafte Gerichte serviert, zu moderaten Preisen.

Freundliche Bedienung, "bürgerliche" italienische Küche köstlich und schnell serviert. Auswahl auf einer Tafel geschrieben. Dessertauswahl nicht üppig aber gut.

Das Lokal mit der Holz-Aussenfassade startet im Eingangsbereich als italienischer Feinkostlladen für Kiezkunden. Stehtische laden dahinter zum Verweilen ein, im Sommer lockt eine kleine Terrasse. Das einzigartige ist das familiäre Flair und die ebenso einfache wie exzellente Karte. Chef Andrea kauft selbst ein. Die Zutaten sind exquisit, die Kombinationen simpel-genial. Mein Lieblingsitaliener in München. Ps: gibt keine Karte, nur eine täglich neu beschriftete Tafel und die hauseigene Feinkosttheke.

Das italienische Essen gehört mit zu dem Besten was wir aus Schwabing kennen. Die Gerichte sind einfach, aber gut und mit ausgewählten Zutaten gemacht. Die Atmosphäre ist mittags genau wie man sich das bei einem Italiener wünscht, an stehtischen kommt man zusammen und es herrscht reges Treiben im ganzen Lokal. Die Theke bietet allerlei Leckereien zum mitnehmen. Kann man nur empfehlen!

I had great expectations about this place but at the end is mostly Italian food cooked for German people's taste. Not surprising I was the only Italian eating there. I had a rabbit that was a bit raw. I told the waiter and he told me it was normal for the rabbit to be pink (it was more then pink, it was undercooked). At the end I ate just the side dish. Long wait at the till and no refund or discount at all

Es ist genau das was ich mir wünsche wenn ich eine schnelle perfekte Pasta haben möchte! Wirklich super. Die Theke im kleinen Verkaufsraum bietet ebenfalls viele Köstlichkeiten für zuhause. Ich habe für meinen Geburtstag einiges eingekauft und alle waren begeistert.

Das Vini et Panini, in der Nähe des schönen Elisabethmarkt, ist ein ital. Feinkostladen mit angeschlossenem Restaurant im Bistrostyle mit hohen Tischen und Stühlen. Die variierrende Mittagskarte ist für die Größe des Geschäftes sowohl umfangreich als auch wohltuend anders als die gefühlt immer ähnlichen Standardkarten vieler italienischer Restaurants in München. Bei der Herstellung der hausgemachten Pasta kann man zusehen, oft erklingt gut gelaunter Gesang aus der Küche. Hervorragendes Essen, kein Wunder bei einem angeschlossenen Feinkost´laden. Es findet sich sogar zum Teil auch mal Deftigeres auf der Karte wie Schweinefüsse oder Salsiccia mit Linsen, alles immer auf Top Niveau.

Man kann hier sowohl kalt als auch warm essen. Alle Produkte von hoher Qualität oder selbst gemacht. Kompetente Weinempfehlung; aber...
