Sorry, this is the best Italian restaurant in Munich, unbeatable pizza.

We waited for minutes for a waiter. Despite making eye contact, we were ignored. After about 10 minutes, we went to Gerners. There, we received a friendlier welcome and were served immediately.

Delicious pizza, sometimes a bit noisy because of the large room. Waiters vary greatly in their friendliness.

Delicious, huge pizzas, super nice service, great ambience, but also really expensive. I think €17 for a pizza is a lot of money.

Tasty but very unfriendly Super delicious pizzas 🍕 I was thrilled every time! For me the best pizza in Munich. However, the service is unfortunately very bad. When we arrived the lady didn't think it was necessary to greet us or give us a seat or a card. We had to wait 10 minutes until a gentleman came and asked if we had already ordered. Our male waitress was very friendly. When we wanted to pay we had to wait 15 minutes until we could pay Conclusion Unfortunately, the waiting time and the behavior of one older person (waitress?) were subpar Pizza was very good

We ate quite late yesterday and we were served great, had great linguine with seafood and a 🍕 that's how you like to go out👌

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at this fantastic Italian restaurant. The highlight of the meal was the fish soup—it was simply the best we’ve ever had, better than any other restaurant we’ve visited. We also enjoyed a perfectly grilled fish and a seafood platter, both of outstanding quality and freshness. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. One of the waiters even assisted us with deboning the fish, and watching him perform this artful technique was a delight in itself. A truly memorable experience—we will definitely be back!

I booked and they didn't have the table, rude people and certainly not available and aimed at good customer service

You call to reserve a place on the terrace and then you can't find a place on the phone he tells you which place he'll let you reserve and then you go there and stay like an idiot... it seems like you're being taken for a ride

The two of us had dinner. The waiter greeted us (in our mid-30s) with the words: "Hey guys, what's up?" welcomed. He continued to use first names. We both had a pizza, which was on the table quickly as the shop wasn't busy at that time. My pizza was very oily, which ruined what was supposed to be savory. Our drinks ended up being empty for around 20 minutes, but the waiter was no longer there, so we didn't order or pay for another drink.

Best pizza in Munich! Here you can get a real Italian stone oven pizza. The price is okay for the size, pizzas are always on offer in the afternoons during the week. Staff is always friendly.

On March 2nd, 2025 we were at Villa Dante, the food was good. We had a large Hawaiian pizza, Penne Arabiata and a mixed salad. Drinks 1x Cola and 1x special. The penne wasn't that spicy and the pizza was a bit too thin, but ok. The service was also friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. The price 50€ is very reasonable. I can recommend.

Fast and quite friendly service. Unfortunately, the food is not authentically Italian: the pizza corresponds to the gastronomic times of the 80s. The parmigiana is swimming in tomato sauce and the spaghetti with clams and mussels is full of garlic, which has not been sautéed, and with almost raw tomatoes you wouldn't find anything like this anywhere in Italy.

I would actually give it 0 out of 5 stars. My girlfriend and I actually just wanted to have a drink, but were then seated at an unreserved seat. When we were just thinking about eating something (the food looked very good), we were more or less thrown out by a very rude waiter because there were other people waiting. Super rude, just very rude! Not recommended (definitely not when this waiter is working.)

The staff at Villa Dante is extremely unfriendly! You feel like a supplicant if you just ask for a place. With the answer "not responsible" you should actually turn around and leave immediately - After a wait, waiters walked past several times, but no one was interested. Then we got a seat. There was a loud argument among the waiters next to our table. After half an hour we were able to order, even though waiters walked past probably 10 times. At the table next door, children were loudly jumping around on the table and benches with their dirty shoes, which didn't interest anyone. To eat: Pizza soggy not crispy and tasteless. Then we were served the wrong drinks. I don't want to say anything further about it Villa Dante is just terrible. Never again

Unfortunately you don't feel welcome as a guest there. Grumpy waiters who didn't have a nice word to say and that wasn't due to stress. There was more than enough staff. We really felt compelled to eat quickly and disappear...train station hall flair. The pizza was okay...but there are definitely better ones. I don't normally write bad reviews but I found the unfriendly manner extremely.

Very nice Italian restaurant, plenty of choices and friendly staff. The place is crowded and a little noisy but the atmosphere is good. The aperol spritz was good, and the snitzel as well. The big portions are sufficient to skip the appetizer if you aren't very hungry. We have had a lovely evening, and we surely recommend it.

When you enter this restaurant you are initially terribly unwelcome. This radiates throughout the entire staff. That's a really bad first impression. The pizza tastes very good, the spaghetti we had tasted way too artificial. Greetings from glutamate. And that with two visits within 4 weeks. It should also be noted that the boss walks around his restaurant in such a grim mood and neither greets his guests nor asks if everything is okay. But it's completely different with regular guests. Conclusion: You can definitely spend your money in other restaurants with a better feeling. Namely where the food tastes good AND you are treated like a guest. Not like an intruder who now wants a table. We won't come anymore.

Super tasty, large pizza from the wood-stone oven. Free parking spaces with parking discs are available nearby, directly at the Friedhofsmauer lake. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Villa Dante in January.

Villa Dante - Best Munich Pizzeria. This is the slogan of this restaurant. With the corresponding expectations, we celebrated there with a larger group at the beginning of November. Unfortunately, the quality of the service fell far short of expectations. The starters were inappropriately small and overpriced for the number of people, cocktails could only be ordered to a limited extent and despite the sales there wasn't even a drink "on the house". The affogato was a disgrace! The pizzas are expensive but of good quality. At 11 p.m. we were asked to leave the winter garden in a rather unfriendly manner. All in all, more lower middle class than upscale gastronomy. However, in this case the price/performance ratio is by no means correct. What a shame!

Very good cuisine - word has gotten around. That's why the restaurant is very busy and loud. The waitress is in a good mood and has quick, humorous sayings.

We were there today for my birthday. We found the decor of the restaurant very chic, especially the bar. Unfortunately, it is a bit noisy. The service was friendly and the food was highly praised by everyone! The fish soup and pizzas are particularly recommended. The side salad is very large, but we found it a shame that most of it consisted of ice cream lettuce.

Unfortunately there is no or hardly any vegan selection, I would like to see clearer labeling. The food itself was good and the service was quick and friendly for Munich standards.

The Wiener Schnitzel at Villa Dante was excellent – ​​crispy and tender, fried potatoes also tasted good. Unfortunately, the spaghetti with truffles couldn't quite keep up. While they were okay, they lacked that certain something that you expect from a truffle dish. The taste is rather average. The canolli was also disappointing and didn't offer anything special. However, when it comes to the service and the ambience, I was very satisfied. The cellar was extremely friendly and attentive. Overall, a mixed experience: The schnitzel was convincing, but the remaining dishes fell short of expectations. However, the nice service and the good ambience were able to partially compensate for this.

Went there spontaneously yesterday and sat in despite the good weather. A very nice restaurant with very nice staff. The Villa Dante pizza (rocket & Parma ham) is very filling and really tasty, I've rarely had such a good pizza. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back. Thanks! Edit: I read other reviews that complained that the pizza was expensive. Here you get a handmade pizza in 34cm, it costs money but it's far from expensive, rather reasonable. There are other places that offer less but cost just as much.

Villa Dante always works. Delicious Italian food with parking and MVV in front of the door. On hot summer days you can sit wonderfully under large shady trees. It's right at the intersection, but it's not a big problem because of the trees. Service is ok. When it's very crowded inside, it's too narrow and, above all, too loud for me personally.

Best pizza in the North...fast and delicious....nice in the summer when sitting outside....try the beef filet, if yoj don' t feel line havinv a pizza. Service people are nice and helpful....i will always fo again.

Unfortunately, I have to vent myself. After my visit to the cemetery, I was really looking forward to a fresh beer and delicious food. So far I've always been there with someone. Food, drinks and ambience were always great. This time I came alone, which isn't pleasant anyway. During fifteen minutes of waiting, two waitresses walked right past my table several times to ignore me. I left. Actually, I should have said something. I didn't because I was just too disappointed. That's why these lines now. Kind regards to the two waitresses who were on duty at lunchtime today. I'm sure a man sitting alone would have been served quickly. A pity.

I had the pleasure of eating at this charming Italian restaurant recently and I have nothing but positive things to say! The food was simply excellent. The pizza (as a starter) was crispy and perfectly topped, and the spaghetti puttanesca was full of flavor and seasoned just right. The best part of my visit, however, was the service. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly and always had a smile on their faces. You immediately felt comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back soon to try more delicious dishes!

Never again. Yesterday we wanted to go out to eat with our 7-year-old child, we had reserved in advance and were just about to order. We were thrown out by the waitress because we were playing cards with our child. We have never experienced anything more hostile to children in all of Munich. Children who do not sit still in front of their cell phones are not welcome here. We are absolutely horrified and will continue to communicate this incident.
