Very upscale atmosphere and super delicious food

Our hotel suggested Trattoria Seitz while visiting Munich and it was easily the best meal we had. Although the menu is difficult to navigate for those who speak only English, we were happy to put in the extra effort to translate upon seeing the many delectable dishes being dropped at neighboring diners’ tables. The chef came out several times, the wine list is fantastic and every dish we ordered was wonderful. Service was friendly, it’s a small and charming space and the food was incredible. Can’t recommend it enough!

One of the best restaurants in München!

I have lived in Munich for years. Absolutely the best Italian restaurant in the city. Excellent food and dream wine list. The best mushroom risotto I've ever eaten here. A small slip on a dessert wine, impeccably and immediately remedied, just as it should. Excellent value for money. Compliments to the Chef and all the staff. We will definitely be back.

We made reservations with a group of 17 people. Inside we were spread across four tables. The reception was a bit cold, but this didn't change in the service over the course of the evening, quite the opposite. Based on the prices, the menu promised upscale culinary delights. It wasn't just my wife and I who were bitterly disappointed. My Pasta Linguine Scampi (with scampi and cocktail tomatoes according to the menu) contained exactly one sliced ​​scampi and a cocktail tomato (not cocktail tomatoes). The rest was just crabs for me, a North German. For this little thing, a mixed salad cost just under 30 euros on the bill. There was also the wine Lugana Casetto with a price of just under 12 euros for 0.2 liters. My counterpart ordered a light beer as a Bavarian. He got about 0.3 liters of beer in the same (wine) glass as me. Apart from the fact that we couldn't see a calibration mark, this hollow vessel was quite remarkable for a beer. On the second order he asked for 0.5 liters of beer in a beer glass. He received 0.3 liters in the same wine glass as before. The group's rating of the trattoria was like the service: hypothermic.

Very good food and a quiet outdoor area

The dishes tasted good. But the service was poor, as shown below. 1. The bald waiter at the door had an unwelcoming attitude as he guided us to our seats. 2. I've noticed male waiters staring at women's breasts, which is rude. 3. When paying the bill the waiter did not bring the POS machine over but asked us to go to the front desk to pay, unlike other restaurants in the same price range.

For the best Italian risotto you have to go to Munich. 😉

Some of them were ignored, while others who came after us had already eaten. Portions ok, food tastes ok. Service not the friendliest.

Great food, great atmosphere and fair prices. Overall I was very satisfied with both my food and the service, and hence and would recommend! The outdoor terrace area was lovely on a warm summer day.

Always beautiful! The service is great, the boss is very nice. Dog friendly! I think it's great that there's kitchen throughout because I like to have a late lunch. The food is really excellent, both the classics and the constantly changing dishes. The Spaghetti Vongole is the best you can get in Munich!

Longstanding Italian restaurant with an extensive menu and good service in Lehel. Pasta, meat and fish dishes on the menu as well as usually a tasting menu. No pizzas. Restaurant interior is elegant and simple. Audience mostly from the district, few tourists. Since Corona with our own spacious terrace on the street. The standard menu still has many dishes at very acceptable prices compared to the surrounding area, daily and weekly specials are usually priced significantly higher. Suggestion for improvement: We have known Seitz for well over 10 years. A little more variation with new ideas from the kitchen would be desirable.

Great restaurant with an upscale menu. However, you won't find a simple Bolognese or salmon here. The food is great for that.

Today it was first time in this place. The experience was amazing. I liked very much the atmosphere very warm, quiet and a good vibe inside, perfect place to spend the evening with friends or family. The food was delicios. The price is not cheap but good balance between quality abd price. The wine is also good. The staff is very friendly and very proffesional. All over the experience was really nice and I will come again in this place.

We arrived late, but the staff quickly seated us at a table. The food was amazing, especially the pasta. Took me back to my childhood when my nonno and nonna used to cook for me!! What a great surprise. Thank you!

Sehr angenehmes Lokal, aufmerksamer Service, wohlfühl Atmosphäre Wir waren zum 2. Mal da,waren wieder sehr zufrieden, essen sehr lecker und appetitlich angerichtet. Leider wurde der Abend zur Enttäuschung für uns; Wir hatten eine Flasche Chianti bestellt, dieser war dann nicht verfügbar und der Kellner brachte einen Ersatzwein. Auch Chianti, aber leicht Reserva. Den Preis haben wir nicht nachgefragt, am Ende auf der Rechnung war dieser erheblich teurer. Am nächsten Tag haben wir dann doch noch reklamiert und sollten das Geld für den Wein zurück bekommen. Das wollten wir nicht, lieber kommen wir wieder zum Essen, da es uns sehr gut gefallen hatte. Der Besitzer hat uns nun auf eine Flasche Wein eingeladen, damit sind wir sehr zufrieden und bleiben gerne Kunde. Sehr kundenfreundliches Verhalten. 5 Sterne!

Superleckeres Essen und sehr herzlicher, zuvorkommender und schneller Service

Die besseren Zeiten sind vorbei. Essen ist gut. Zu sehr gut reicht es leider nicht. Carbonara war gänzlich ohne Salz zubereitet. Teller beim Fisch in Salzkruste war nicht vorgewärmt. Preise sind in Ordnung. Ein Lächeln der Kellner haben wir nicht feststellen können. Durchschnittsalter eher 50+. Ambiente ist nett aber verbesserungsfähig, da seit Jahren identisch.

Hervorragendes Essen und sehr aufmerksame Kellner. Dieses Restaurant kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Hier stimmt einfach alles angefangen vom Service bis zur Qualität der Getränke und Speisen. Stets Top. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Einfach ausgezeichnetes italienische Lokal mit fantasievollen Gerichten, aber nicht abgehoben, auch nicht im Preis. PS: Der Ferrari ist besser als der Champagner.

Einer der für mich besten Italiener Münchens. Unglaublich lecker und qualitativ hochwertiges Essen, super herzlicher Service und Preisleistung stimmt total. Dort kann man ein Geschäftsessen machen, genauso wie eine Feier oder ein Romantic-Dinner. Gediegen und stilvoll zugleich. Immer wieder gerne!

Ist von innen und außen alles sehr nett eingerichtet und sauber. Das Essen war in Ordnung für den hohen Preis, haben jedoch etwas mehr erwartet. Leider war der Service ziemlich frech. Ein Kellner kam sehr unfreundlich und genervt rüber, als wir nach einem extra Teller gefragt haben, nachdem uns das Brot im Korb hingestellt wurde (es waren keine anderen Teller auf dem Tisch). Bei der Bezahlung wurden wir dumm angemacht, weil wir nicht wussten wie viel wir genau zahlen müssen und mussten das dann selber anhand des Belegs ausrechnen. Unser Bargeld wurde dann einfach auf den Tisch geschmissen, weil der Kellner kein Wechselgeld hatte und wir nur in großen Scheinen bezahlen konnten.

Super gutes Essen und so netter Service, wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mal
