A chance encounter after a trip to the cinema. Authentic, delicious, good. Friendly welcome, pleasant service. Starters: Vitello Tonnato – very good, light and tasty mayonnaise. Truffle-flavored oovo: a first, never had it before. Fried egg with truffles, fantastic. Afterward: fish platter and involtini. Both very tasty and more than plentiful. Unfortunately, there was no room for dessert, even though they looked excellent. But a delicious espresso was still okay. But beware: Cash required on Sundays. In summary: I'd definitely go back!!!

My absolute favorite restaurant! If you wanted to enjoy very good Italian cuisine, you couldn't miss this restaurant! The operation and service never left anything to be desired! You felt like you were eating with your own family! Very accommodating, very attentive & always with humor and fun! The waitresses definitely deserve 5 stars! You rarely see something like that. Now about the quality of the food: I personally think that the food is very close to the quality of Italy. The pizza was truly the best I've ever eaten here in the entire county. The steak is huge for a good price. In general the prices are very good for the quality! It has often happened that the Ramazotti or Limoncello was served free of charge after a meal. Overall, I've always eaten here when I don't want to worry about quality and service. Every visit I have made there has left me feeling very satisfied. The ambience was always very perfect & clean. You never had the feeling that you had to look at other people's faces all the time or anything like that. The room layout was perfect. I'm talking about the past, as the restaurant closed permanently on December 20, 2024 after 21 years. This puts a huge hole in Rheinfelden when it comes to good food, as it was really the last restaurant where you could still eat perfectly in Rheinfelden. It's a shame that this beautiful time is over - but the wonderful memories of the last 3-4 years remain for me. Thanks to the team and I wish each and every one of them a wonderful future life.

We celebrated our son's first birthday with the family at the Portofino in Bonn and couldn't have asked for a better location! From the very beginning, all of our wishes were fulfilled - the friendly and attentive staff looked after us very well. What was particularly nice was that we were allowed to bring our own decorations, which made the celebration even more personal. The food was excellent, freshly prepared and a real highlight in terms of taste. All guests felt very comfortable and we had a wonderful lunch. We will definitely come back and can fully recommend the restaurant!

The pizza was very good..dough was crispy..salad that came as a side dish was okay. What I personally was missing was a dressing..bread was very fresh..bruschetta was also good..service was 1 A..ambient was very nice on the inside, unfortunately not so much on the outside..still overall a very good restaurant Lg

Delicious food in a great atmospheric place

I'm a regular at the Flying Ship. The pizza is delicious, as are the appetizers. I always make a reservation, although there was still enough space. In summer the terrace is ideal. Large umbrellas and not visible from the street. There is often a noisy atmosphere in the interior. Nevertheless, I can recommend the Flying Ship.
