Did not even finish pasta with Garnelen, it is swimming in oil and tastes like cheap fast-food spaghetti. The price for this 23 euros. The location and the service is great.

Oh my goodness, what a surprise! The views of the Elbe River and the famous Blue Wonder Bridge are spectacular. From the moment you walk in, you're enveloped by a very cozy atmosphere, with those historic touches in the villa that make it feel like a romantic getaway, haha. The food is simply spectacular: fresh, authentic, and prepared with high-quality ingredients, or at least that's what I felt. The portions were generous and the presentation impeccable. I can't forget to mention the desserts; the tiramisu was the perfect ending, creamy and with a hint of liqueur that transports you directly to Italy. In our case, we paired the meal with a white wine. The service is attentive and friendly, without being intrusive, and the price is fair for the quality they offer. Highly recommended! If you're in Dresden...

The ambiance is very nice, but food that wasn't ordered was served without comment. When I pointed it out, I was told the menu was incorrect 😢 Everything tasted like it came from a microwave, and despite the friendly service, it's not recommended.

We had a wonderful meal and a great meal, but unfortunately, there was no receipt for the card payment. When I got home, I discovered that a higher amount had been debited. (I had already tipped generously.)

Very good food with great people

After 15 minutes of walking around the neighborhood and not seeing any waiters, we were greeted very warmly with tables already set and a quick drink. Since the villa is somewhat hidden away near the Blue Wonder, the garden atmosphere with its wonderful, direct view of the Elbe and the bridge is like a fairytale, which we enjoyed for a long time. Cozy corners... flowers... The delicious salad with goat cheese and the spinach dumplings were excellently prepared and delicious. The tiramisu was also superbly "differently delicious." Thank you for this unforgettable afternoon! ☆☆☆☆

The food was delicious, it looked absolutely beautiful, and you couldn't hear any of the cars inside. It's not too big, and it's beautiful. (;

Simply a fantastic location, a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere with a magnificent view of the Elbe, the Blue Wonder Bridge, and the Loschwitzer Höhe, and friendly staff. It's a shame more people don't come here to relax and unwind, for example, with a good glass of wine and the delicious and lovingly prepared cheese platter. I hope Villa Marie stays around for a while longer. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location with Italian flair and excellent food with perfect service

We celebrated our wedding at Villa Marie and received enthusiastic support from the Villa Marie team during the planning stages. We and our guests enjoyed a wonderful and unforgettable afternoon and evening. Everyone was thrilled with the ambiance, the cuisine, and the attentive service.

The food was very good, but also expensive. €35 for a rack of Susländer pork, which isn't even that big, is very cheeky. We had to wait an hour to get our food. The service was very poor. A friend's meal came with truffle mayo instead of potato wedges, and the takeaway food was packaged ridiculously. Overall: good food, but poor and deplorable service.

We had a great dinner with my friends, everything was fresh and tasty, and the service was good!

The villa's location on the Elbe River and the Blue Wonder is fantastic. The villa itself is very beautiful, but the interior furnishings are too plain and dated. The kitchen door was open, which bothered me a bit, as it's not intended to be that way. The prices are a bit high. The food was tasty, but I thought the vitello tonnato was too small for the price. I had salmon, which was good. The terrace outside with a view of the Blue Wonder is very nice; I can imagine spending summer evenings there.

What sets this restaurant apart is its location on the Elbe River, with a wunderful view of the Blaues Wunder (Blue Wonder) and the Weisser Hirsch (White Deer). Whether you describe it as Tuscan-style, shabby, or... Upon entering, you'll immediately notice the slightly aged furniture - out and inside and the dirty-looking sheepskin at the entrance. Unused electrical wiring hangs from exposed holes in the restaurant. The atmosphere isn't exactly cozy and it is loud. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, but the value for money is very high. The asparagus cream soup tasted delicious of asparagus, but there wasn't a single piece in it.

I have been a regular guest at Villa Marie for 20 years and am always very satisfied with the service, the ambience and the excellent food👍🏼 A visit is definitely worth it!😉

A restaurant with friendly service, which I have visited more than a dozen times over the last few years, thanks primarily to its location on the Elbe and the language-defining “Blue Wonder”. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has recently decreased significantly despite the consistent increase in prices. The vegetables in vegetarian dishes are largely tasteless; you would probably get much better quality if you bought them from an organic farm. If the carrots were then steamed a little longer, the taste experience would be less disappointing.

We went for brunch with the family, including several children. Everything was very, very good: food, service...!!

Unfortunately the occasion was a funeral. But it is beautifully located on the river and has a very nice atmosphere here. Great location!

Presents itself as noble and time-honored, the staff is very polite. However, it is so classy that the selection on the menu is very limited and the portions are quite small, but the prices are correspondingly high.

A visit to my previous local restaurant was simply disappointing. Menu very manageable. The price-performance ratio offered bears no relation to reality. The quality of the food was mediocre. No recommendation!

The food is decent, but the service is almost excruciatingly slow.

I always enjoy staying at Villa Marie. I just think it's no longer appropriate that there is only Italian mineral water (transported across the Alps). A Saxon alternative would be a sustainable addition.

Unfortunately, we were only able to get to know 24 around the Blue Wonder during flood times in late summer. But if you have the opportunity, you would like to take a look at a more appropriate time, then with your family...🤔😉👍

We were there as a large group, had a separate room in the attic, the table was nicely set, the drinks were ready, although they were already open and some that hadn't been ordered in advance! This meant that every bottle had to be paid for. Unfortunately the music was missing and the service could have been more on point...you could have expected more in this price range.

A really nice location where we like to stop for cozy dinners or more chic celebrations. At a higher price, Villa Marie offers a wonderful view of the Blue Wonder and the Elbe and delicious food.

A lovely atmospheric place, with character and lucky us at the time of visit on a Sunday afternoon, not crowded! It felt super cozy, and chill! with excellent coffee. We only had coffee and cappuccino and two slices of lemon cheese/quark cakes. Definitely come back again to try the food as well

The ambience is the only thing this restaurant can score with. As soon as you enter, you will be scanned to see if you have any money! Unfortunately we noticed this at several tables! Had a soggy bread salad myself, the next table had a cold fillet steak that wasn't warmed up again or exchanged... You had to wait 20 minutes for the wine, while the waitress spent a good 15 minutes at the next table busying herself with "seniors wearing ties" and praising them . I don't know... never again for me, sorry.

I was at Villa Maria Essen on Friday with my mother, a completely successful evening, service super friendly, atmosphere just great right on the Elbe, food was also excellent, always a pleasure.

When the summer heat is 30 degrees, as an announced party at the reserved table you are happy to wait 20 minutes for the mineral water, the same for the aperitif drink, and when the first antipasti arrive after an hour and a half, the aperitif glasses are long empty... The rule “Gabelll: on the left – Messerrr right” the service lady seems to have never heard. Empty water bottles remain and you have to complain repeatedly about replenishment. On the other hand, full ashtrays are left for the main course. – A restaurant in this location, the extremely friendly host and, last but not least, the guests really deserve better service.

Nice restaurant with a great view. Food ok, not authentic Italian. Unfortunately, service is rude, arrogant and very slow. The Romanian waiter needs to work on his attitude, unfortunately he is not funny. More comfortable chairs on the terrace would be great. Wine list is ok only half was not available. Mega great location whether in winter (with a fire bowl and mulled wine and great snacks) or in summer enjoy the dolce vita in Dresden on the terrace. There is also very nice and attentive service here! Dogs are fed water immediately! I can especially recommend the brunch on Sunday to everyone, as it is simply fantastic! Fine small selection, with the best that Italian cuisine has to offer!

We sat in this wonderful restaurant yesterday and had a fantastic evening. All dishes are freshly prepared with love and the service staff is very nice and accommodating. Highly recommended - especially when the weather is good, there is no more peaceful place with such a magnificent view of the blue wonder!

Nice restaurant on the Elbe. Not too expensive and with a great view and a great terrace. It might be busy at peak times, so it wouldn't hurt to make a reservation. The food all tasted very good and the service was friendly. We'd love to come back.

It was a culinary festival. For the first time in the evening in the middle of the week, based on a recommendation, the two of me went to the cozy restaurant with a great view of the Elbe and the Blue Wonder. The evening wasn't cheap, but I didn't regret anything. A clear menu that is still diverse and where the price-performance ratio is right. An attentive and friendly waitress ultimately made this evening something special.

The two of us sat in the pretty garden with a view of the Elbe. Actually a wonderful way to start the weekend in a relaxed way. My companion got the wrong food, my steak started out and was bloody at the end. They don't know how a gin and tonic is served there either and when I tried to point out the circumstances when billing, I was cheekily reprimanded. Never again!

We were lucky and got a nice table in the beautiful garden. Very good wine selection and view of the Blue Wonder. The food was also very good, but everything was very expensive. The staff could be friendlier. What's also strange: the wine cellar is in the basement directly in front of the toilets and bacon and ham are also hanging there to air dry. The meat can therefore absorb the “fragrant” toilet air very well.

The food at Villa Marie was tasty, the somewhat outdated atmosphere was also very good, but unfortunately the service was not at all satisfactory. There were two of us and we, like a couple who came after us, were offered a choice between two unattractively located "cat tables". This happened even though we had made a reservation and the restaurant was anything but full. The waitress messed up our order twice and only shrugged off the comment that we had been given the wrong main course (which I accepted and also liked). Good service is completely different!

Nice restaurant with several dining areas. Like almost everywhere in Dresden, price and quality don't quite match. But everyone's taste is different.

Great location on the Elbe......unique view of the blue wonder! 😍 Delicious mulled wine, bratwurst and cheese soup are served by very friendly staff! Great!!!!!

We reserved a very specific table two weeks in advance and a week beforehand I asked for a very special occasion whether it was possible to decorate the table (candles and roses) which shouldn't be a problem, that's the answer from the restaurant... Well the food was great, the table was wrong, no decorations, no candle... I later paid for a daffodil that was put at the table...

Nice traditional restaurant in Dresden. Not cheap but also very good food. Special requests (no onions, etc.) were easily accommodated, even though we were in a large group with a pre-ordered menu. . Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff

We celebrated our wedding at Villa Marie in November 2023. Even the planning was excellently supported by the employees - menu suggestions, schedule, flower decorations, etc., everything was completely problem-free and in a very good atmosphere. We also had the opportunity to taste excellent wines with the advice of a sommelier from Villa Marie. We were also immediately impressed by the tower room, a separate, spacious and very cozy room just for us with its own balcony and a wonderful view of the Elbe and the Blue Wonder. On the day itself everything was perfectly prepared. The food was simply delicious - chestnut cream with wild ham, scallops with tagliatelle, saddle of venison with cabbage and potato gratin. Plenty of everything. We had a waitress just for us who was very friendly and attentive and directed the course of the meal with the right sense of time. We were in very good hands, which is really worth its weight in gold on such an exciting day. At the end we had a wedding cake, passion fruit cream cake with berries, also made by the Villa Marie kitchen itself. One of our young guests spontaneously said: Man, that's the best cake I've ever eaten. Many thanks to the Villa Marie team for this important and beautiful celebration for us!

Ein schönes und stilvolles Restaurant. Der Service ist leider nicht so auf Zack aber es wird sich bemüht die Gäste zufriedenzustellen. Das Essen war gut.

Hatten große Firmenfeier,nur leider musste man immer wieder die Kellner/Bediener suchen. Keiner kam von alleine vorbei! Heiße Getränke waren gerade mal lauwarm,Vorspeise kam 1h Stunde später-nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen! Hauptspeise erst 20:30 und Nachtisch wurde zu wenig serviert,musste noch nachgebacken werden...😞

Tolles Restaurant mit guter italienischer Küche.

Wunderbares Essen in angenehm schlichter Umgebung. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, die Speisen durchweg zu empfehlen. Vorspeise: Kürbissuppe Hauptgang: Fettuccine an Steinpilzen Nachspeise: Panna Cotta Auch die Weinauswahl ist hervorragend.

Nudeln für 17€ ? Hat aber geschmeckt.

Schöne alte Villa...Außenbereich super...Innenbereich etwas kühl. Leider war das Essen-Ochsenbäckchen- sehr zäh und nur noch lauwarm. Service war sehr freundlich und schnell.

Der Besuch des Restaurants hinterließ einen gemischten Eindruck bei uns. Das Ambiente war sehr schlicht. Keine Kerzen, Tischdecken , schmutzige Scheiben. Alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen und zum Teil renovierungsbedürftig, Recht frisch und zum Teil zog es. Die Bedienung war freundlich, das Essen war lecker. Espresso ging gar nicht.

Sehr gutes italienisches Restaurant am Blauen Wunder in Dresden, direkt an der Elbe. Erstklassige Bedienung, sehr leckere Speisen. Die Qualität ist super. Die Bilder zeigen den Lammrücken, das Grillgemüse und den herrlichen Ausblick von der Terrasse.

Waren zum Brunch hier, da wir von der Qualität des Abendessens sehr angetan waren. Die Qualität vom Brunch entspricht jedoch bei weitem nicht dem, was man vom Abendessen her erwarten könnte. Im Vergleich daher eher enttäuschend

Wir saßen in einem wunderschönen Erker mit Blick auf das Blaue Wunder und haben exzellenten Service und tolles Essen genossen. Auch die Weinauswahl war ganz wunderbar! Ein toller Abend!

Wir waren hier nach unserer Hochzeit essen, es war alles sehr lecker, der Service war nett und aufmerksam und das Ambiente draußen wunderschön.

Waren mit der Familie zum Essen da, wahnsinnig schöner Außenbereich, total ruhig gelegen und mit sagenhaftem Blick auf die Elbe. Kellner war super, mit einem guten Schuss Humor. Essen war 1A, jeder war zufrieden, ganz klare Empfehlung, TOP!

Sehr uriges Restaurant mit guter Küche. Man kann im Außenbereich ein herrlichen Blick auf die Elbe, das blaue Wunder und die Elbhänge mit den Schlössern genießen. Personal sehr zuvorkommend, bis auf eine Ausnahme, der meinte, seine Kollegen schikanieren und bloßstellen zu müssen.

Das Essen ist top! Die Lage ist auch Märchenhaft. Leider viel zu wenige Mitarbeiter angestellt.

Es gibt nicht viele bessere Orte in Dresden, um richtig gut und entspannt in den Sonntag starten zu können. Von der Terrasse des Restaurant hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf das Blaue Wunder und die Elbhänge Richtung Weißer Hirsch. . Der Service war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.

Mooie tuinterras Vriendelijke bediening Leuke plek Eten was heerlijk (zowel de Lasagna als de spaghettie met garnalen) Niet goedkoop, wel het extra waard vind ik.

Sehr gutes Essen ansehnlich angerichtet. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, auch wenn man zum Ende gemerkt hat, daß sich das Restaurant gefüllt hat. Vom Ambiente sehr schön mit Patina. So stelle ich mir eine Villa um 1900 in Italien vor. Unsere zwei Hunde waren willkommen.

Von der Terrasse bei herrlichem Sommerwetter wunderschöner Blick auf die Elbe und das Blaue Wunder. Speisen und Getränke sehr gut, der Service ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig. Hohe Preise gerechtfertigt. Für einen Freitagabend nicht zu voll. Parkplatz war kein Problem.
