Day meal was good basically an average restaurant.

Wish i could give minus star , pathteic service and worst pizza ever.

The Flying Ship is a “safe bet” for me. You can't go wrong eating here. The menu offers what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. The quality is not outstanding, but solid and good. The service is always attentive and friendly, even when they are understaffed. The rooms are very large and attractively furnished. The highlight for me is the very quiet inner courtyard in summer, where you can sit outside. The pizzas, which you can also order and pick up by phone, are highly recommended.

The pizza tastes super delicious. We have been here many times and always satisfied. However, we think charging €7 for a small mixed salad is a bit too much. You can get a table even without a reservation. It is very nice on the terrace under the large parasols.

Italian experience in Filderstadt. It's always a joy to come here and have dinner. True italian food made by with love and passion, amazing pizza, spaghetti and fish. The service is very fast, customer oriented and very friendly, you feel very welcome there. Atmosphere is more then pleasant, hearing all the time people speaking Italian, it's like I am Italy. I would highly recommended, the best italian restaurant in the airport area.

Seefood salad. 16.50 euros. Plate is about 4 fingers wide. The starter was served without bread and without a plate for the bowls. Rarely experienced something like this. Been there for the first time and never again.

Would have given 5 stars as the risotto Frutti Di Mare was very nice and the pannacotta even better. There was a small issue with a piece of plastic or impregnated paper from packaging in the dish. However, it didn’t put me off as it was quite small and everybody is allowed mistakes so I totally enjoyed the risotto. I was expecting a bit more ‘Italian’ atmosphere, banter from the waiters and such, but they were very busy running around. Nevertheless, enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend.

Food is okay, service - especially the boss herself - is unfortunately becoming increasingly unfriendly in my opinion: food and drinks are put out without a word. A pity.

I already knew the Flying Ship when it was still in Echterdingen. The food is very tasty, beautifully prepared and the service is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is modern and very nice. We recommend!

Unkindness! No greeting! Take away your plate that hasn't been emptied yet. After dinner, no one comes to ask for a drink... No thanks for visiting, no goodbye! You should follow the example of other friendly restaurants.

Nice restaurant, good pizza, nice host and good value for money. The Rigatoni al Forno is served fresh from the oven. See video. I can recommend it.

Great food. Staff is very friendly. Children no problem.

Dinner was refused on the grounds that everything was reserved. No notices on the tables and more than 50% of the tables free. Very unfriendly and arrogant. I can't say anything about the quality of the food, but when I asked an older couple where I could get something to eat now, they both said unanimously that I hadn't missed anything except excessive prices with mediocre quality and unfriendly staff. I can confirm the latter.

Our spontaneous idea to go out for dinner on a Friday evening was rewarded with a feel-good evening at the Flying Ship. Although the restaurant was quite full, we had our drinks within a very short time and the food didn't take long to arrive either. Restrained, nice service, attentive, and delicious food. Thank you very much for this.

We were there for my mom's birthday. When we made the reservation by phone, we asked directly whether there was a special occasion and whether the table should be decorated. When we arrived everything was actually beautifully decorated. The service was quick and friendly, the food was delicious. To round things off, there was a tiramisu on the house - served to the appropriate birthday song and with a fountain. Thank you very much!

I would have liked to give the food 5 stars but unfortunately I was unlucky with my dish. Unfortunately, even when I complained about it, it wasn't any better. I had penne with scampi, which unfortunately didn't taste like anything. My suggestion would be to fry them a little in a pan with garlic and olive oil and then add them to the pasta

There were only two of us there and it wasn't busy. Food and service were very good. Unfortunately, when we were there with 10 people the next day it was nothing. The restaurant was well attended. Unfortunately, the starter and main course were served together even though we had asked for it beforehand. The food was 3 degrees warmer than the lukewarm drinks. Unfortunately the service wasn't good either.

Essen war gut, der Service war aufmerksam und es war gut besucht. Die Atmosphäre hat mir gut gefallen. Solide 4 Sterne.

Das Reatautant ist schön schlicht mit dem Motto Schiffen eingerichtet. Das Essen wsr sehr lecker. Das Bier frisch gezapft und sehr lecker. Der service war soweit freundlich. Leider saßen wir am Anfang 15min da und wurden nicht mach Getränken gefragt. ( wir haben noch auf andere gewartet, aber 15min ohne trinken sind 15min ohne trinken). Der Abend war sehr schön und ich kann mich nicht beschweren. Ich kann nur nahe legen für alle Gäste, dass man beim Platzieren der Gäste zumindest nachfragt, ob schon jemand was trinken möchte.

Super super lecker Pizza / Bedienungen aufmerksam und sehr freundlich / Preise angemessen. Parkplätze mit kurzen Laufwegen zu finden. Eine meiner neuen Lieblingspizzabäckereien.

Bardzo miłe zaskoczenie. Zjadłem bardzo dobrą zupę pomidorową i smaczną pizzę. Sympatyczny personel, sprawna obsługa. Zaledwie kilka metrów od stacji S-bahn.

5 Pizzen + 2 große Salate bestellt & abgeholt. Die Pizzen waren lecker, jedoch waren die Salate in meinen Augen ein geschmackliche Katastrophe. Was war das für ein Gemüsegemetzel + Thunfisch & wo war der Dressing? Ist es zuviel verlangt, einen guten Dressing anzurichten? Bei Interesse kann ich ein Rezept senden. Ein gutes Dressing ist doch in schlappen 5 min angerichtet. Pizza ja, aber Salat nie wieder.

War beruflich in der Stadt und dort Essen. Wirklich gute Pizza, auch der Rest war wirklich sehr gut. Man macht keinen Fehler wenn man dort Essen geht.

Ich war jetzt das zweite mal hier und die Pizza ist einfach ein Traum. Wer auf geilen Teig und knusprigen Boden steht, wird hier voll auf seine Kosten kommen. Wir hatten eine Calzone und Vegetaria.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, sehr freundliches Personal. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und sehr gut geschmeckt.

Na ja. Die Pizza Mozzarella war geschmacklich neutral. Hat also nach nichts geschmeckt. Der Espresso kam in einer kalten, nicht vorgewärmten Tasse und war deshalb kalt. Ich habe schon bessere Pizza gegessen und auch schon warmen Espresso bekommen.

Die Bedienung war ja so was von typisch italienisch, klasse und so fühlt man sich auch fast wie in Italien. Aber das Essen, die hausgemachten Nudeln, so was leckeres 😋 findet man nicht so oft.

Wir waren mit Freunden hier essen und hatten beide Male Glück, einen Parkplatz zu finden. Die S-Bahn hält gleich in der Nähe, sodass es auf jeden Fall eine gute Alternative zum Auto gäbe. Der Service im Flying Ship ist sehr gut, sehr aufmerksam und freundlich-reserviert. Die Pizza ist gut. Für meinen Geschmack war es beide Male viel zu laut, um sich zu unterhalten. Es war voll, was mich für die Gastronomie sehr freut, aber auch sehr laut (vielleicht auch durch eine ungünstige Raumakustik). Aber das hindert mich natürlich nicht daran, je nach Tagesform, weitere Abende hier zu verbringen.

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne dorthin. Die Terrasse ist durch andere Häuser rund herum geschützt. Die Pizza sind gut. Die Bedienungen sind immer freundlich.

Innerhalb zwei Wochen war ich 2x Gast im flying ship und jedes Mal hat alles gepasst! Bei einem Geburtstagsessen mit 10 Personen wurde der Tisch sehr schön dekoriert und das Essen (große Platte mit Gemüse, Meeresfrüchten, Carpaccio und Pizzabrot) war total lecker und reichlich. Es war eine Servicekraft ständig am Schauen, ob wir auch alles haben. Echt super! Beim 2. Mal mit der Familie waren die Pizzen und Pastagerichte sehr, sehr gut und große Portionen. Die Calzone war riesig und total lecker. Auch an diesem Tag waren alle sehr aufmerksam, wir mussten nie warten. Nur zum Empfehlen!
