All the dishes were delicious, especially an outstanding pizza with a crispy crust and thin base. The atmosphere was rather traditional, with cloth tablecloths and real roses... From the outside, the restaurant looks unassuming, but inside, you feel a little closer to Italy. ❤️

Our regulars have been going to this restaurant once a month for years. The three-course lunch menu is extensive, good, and very reasonably priced. The owner is friendly and the seating is comfortable; I highly recommend it.

I chose this restaurant for my first Wolt order because two years ago, they had the best pizza in Munich. I chose a mixed salad and a Capricciosa. I ordered the yogurt sauce with the salad. I got a salad full of balsamic vinegar and a little yogurt sauce on the bottom! Hello staff! If you accidentally mixed up the sauce, you need to make a new salad and not add yogurt to the balsamic vinegar! I can't eat vinegar at all; my doctor forbade it! Also, the pizza was covered entirely in hot green peppers, and there's no mention in the description that the Capricciosa is hot. Peperoni in Italian means both hot peppers and bell peppers, but the menu doesn't clarify this. It was the first and last time I order from here.

We came via Groupon, had the three-course menu, and can only give it 5 stars. As already mentioned, it looks rather inconspicuous from the outside, as it's nestled into the residential buildings on the not-so-pretty Berg-Am-Laim-Strasse. But inside, it's decorated in an authentic Italian style, you're immediately assigned a table, special requests (for food intolerances) are accommodated very kindly, and the portions, quality, taste, and, above all, the prices (we are in Munich, after all) are absolutely fair and more than satisfactory!🙏🏼 The service was impressively attentive, and the overall atmosphere in this family-run business was truly very pleasant. Especially since we often find ourselves complaining about the lackluster service in Munich, Bella Rosa deserves special mention here! I'm disappointed. The delivery person brought me the wrong order. I immediately contacted the restaurant, and the lady told me it was a kitchen error and that if I wanted a new dish, I'd have to come back and get it myself. This means I'll have to waste money on gas and time because of her mistake. Bravo, never again, thank you.

A simple Italian restaurant. Right on the main street. There's only a small beer garden along the sidewalk. The interior is plain and reminiscent of an older pub. But it's clean and cozy. The food is plentiful and tasty. However, I ordered a steak, which was served like a schnitzel without breadcrumbs. The service didn't even bother to ask how well it was grilled. The appetizers were a bit carelessly spread on a large plate, but they were well-seasoned and delicious. Unfortunately, we then had to clean the cutlery to reuse it for the next course. The service was very friendly and accommodating. In short, an average Italian restaurant with no frills and no special atmosphere. I wouldn't book a reservation for a family celebration or anything similar.

What happened to me today, on the occasion of my birthday, in this restaurant was a very unpleasant surprise. I would advise everyone to avoid this place. We first tried to call and make a reservation. An employee we spoke to seemed very impatient and eventually hung up without confirming our reservation. When we got there, we were treated rudely. The prices on the menu on the wall were incorrect. When we finally wanted to pay, they told us about it. They sounded very rude, as if it were our fault for not knowing. Also, we couldn't pay by card because the amount was under 10 euros. I've never experienced anything like this in a restaurant before. The drinks were unreasonably overpriced, especially the water.

The appetizers were acceptable and edible, but we had carpaccio for the main course, and it was simply awful. It had a bad color, tasted strange, and was poorly presented even on the plate. Overall, we didn't have to wait very long for the bill. After a 20-minute wait, we went to the cashier, where we had to wait another 10 minutes.

Very good food...just like in Italy, a nice atmosphere with Italian music. Very friendly service and great prices. The only downside...it's a bit out of the way, and you have to find a parking space and walk a few steps to the restaurant.

Bella Rosa is located on the main street (Berg am Laim Str.) and therefore has a somewhat difficult parking situation. Tram stop almost in front of the door. I've been there several times and you practically don't need a reservation. Pasta and pizzas taste very good and the prices are cheaper than nearby pizzerias. Garlic and chilli sauce is served in cups on the table at no extra charge. As mentioned, I come here often and can only recommend it.

We were very excited! Excellent pasta and pizza, mega good panna cotta and really very good tiramisu. Price performance unbeatable. We will stop there more often in the future. Very, very nice owners. (Family business) can only be recommended. Thank you for the lovely evening

This place makes you feel like you are in Bella Italia with nice music and fine food. The mixed antipasti platter is particularly enjoyable. Whether pizza or pasta, everything tastes very good. The dessert was also a delight. Friendly service with a smile and the odd joke.

We visited Bella Rosa twice while staying at the nearby Holiday Inn Express. It is only a 10 minute walk away. Don't be put off by the illuminated menu board outside. The owner and other waiting staff were really welcoming. There is a great range of food and drink on the menu. Reasonable prices as well. Will definitely go back if we ever find our selves back in the area.

The best Italian food in many years! Fresh & delicious. Homemade bread: crunchy Salmon: soft rosé Pasta aldente Scampi perfectly prepared I could have rolled the sauce in it (if I had left a drop). We booked a 3-course meal for 2 through Groupon. But even so, I have to say value for money is good. More of an old restaurant, the ambience is not great but ok. However, the food was really tasty and the portion was good. Starter plate very good. We were almost full from the starter. Dessert tasted OK but looked like it had been slapped on or taken by someone else. Overall, you can eat well at the pizzeria next door, so to speak.

Recently back from a delicious dinner at this local family restaurant. The antipasti was some of the best we've had anywhere! (We live in London and travel). The quality of the ingredients and the obvious care taken with the preparation of our shared starter was really wonderful. Very happy with our wines and soft drinks and we loved our main courses of spaghetti carbonara and tortellini. we hope to visit again before the end of our holiday as there are a lot of enticing dishes to try.😋A local gem for anyone wanting quality in a relaxed, and local Environment.

Pleasant place to eat and hang out

Been there often for a while. The food can be quite good, but in the end it was always a disappointment. In addition, the owner sometimes becomes incredibly unfriendly, especially when something doesn't suit him. On the last visit, my partner and I got the non-carbonated drinks. My partner had already taken a long drink because she was so thirsty before she really noticed it. When we complained, we were scolded because the drinks were "fresh from the barrel" and had to be carbonated. We were then told that my partner's drink would still have to be charged because more than half was missing - which was not the case. We didn't get any replacement drinks at all. Then came the main course, which was completely over salted. I really love pizza and the pizza there is generally solid - but this was inedible. I didn't finish two pieces and the rest went back. My partner's noodles were just as salty. Why it was so salty remains to be speculated. But all in all, this was the last visit for us!

Truly a hidden gem 💎 in the particular area. Large portions, great food, fair prices and good atmosphere. If you are visiting Munich and you are fed up of the sausages, schnitzels etc and staying near by, then you won't regret trying it.
