Mamma Mia is not just a restaurant, it is an institution. Family run and have been doing so for almost 50 years. We used to drive Claudio crazy at the ice cream counter as children, and a little later as teenagers we drank beers, parties and stories at the bar. What has always remained the same: the warmth and the feeling that you are welcome. By the way, it tastes incredibly good. The owners cannot hide their Veneto origins. The cuisine is accordingly shaped and there are often specialties from this region of Italy. But not only! There is something for everyone on the menu, which always includes a weekly menu. I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

Terrific. We have been his regular customers for ages and come almost regularly. He's actually always been there; has been running this restaurant with his family since the summer of 1978. He always has a very good, varied weekly menu, with changing dishes. In addition to the classic Italian pizza and pasta dishes, he has a large selection of different main courses, for example something with mussels, seafood or special types of meat, also changing depending on the season. I can recommend everyone to take a look. Maybe it's better to reserve in advance (by phone) because the restaurant is very small. In the summer, however, he also has seating outside, where you can sit comfortably in the anteroom of the restaurant, under the tent roof. Attached are two dishes in the pictures, a main course and a "dessert", just as they are served at his place.

Typical Italian restaurant with the same cuisine. It just tastes like Italy!!

Unfriendly, older service. We were charged a drink more when a Vespe ended up in our glass and we asked for a fresh one. The waiter was annoyed and brought us a new drink but charged us for it straight away.

The service was unfriendly and charged the spritzer twice. And the juice was still fermented. When we sat down we were asked if we planned to stay long. The customer is definitely not king here but rather a troublemaker. We hurried to leave again. Restaurant is right on the street and there are some wasps flying around you

Pizza was good but it could have stayed in the oven a little longer then the dough would have been cooked in the middle. Staff very friendly. Rustic, clean and it was good for us.

I have ordered a pizza to go based on reviews and it was very dissapoining! They are using the cheapest ingredients, the cheese and ham tasted awful (like the cheapest ones you can get from aldi or lidl), tomato (a big one) was sliced into big pieces (who on earth does that?) instead of using cherry tomatoes. The dough tasted like sponge, it was barely eatable. I have tested many pizzas bur this one was by far the worst I had in my life. :/ I didnt have huge expectations from a local pizza place but this was just too too bad!!

The pizza tastes like rubber pulled out of the fridge and served with artificial cheese and ham 😳

We became aware of the store through Google Maps. When you enter the store you think where did I end up because it already looks shabby. But we didn't let that blind us and ordered our pizzas. And what can you say, it was one of the best pizzas I've eaten so far. What do we learn from this? Don't let the first impression deceive you🤙🏻

Update: From 1 star to 3 stars because the criticism was handled well. You could eat pizza. We threw away seafood salad and spaghetti with seafood. Of course everything is a matter of taste. But for me there won't be a second time.

I've known and loved Mama Mia for almost 34 years - we lived in close proximity back then and it was our regular Italian restaurant until we moved away. Since then I have only come here irregularly. Now it was that time again. I find it incredible that hardly anything has changed since then in terms of the ambience, the menu or the prices. Even the waiter is still the same Unique. A solid, cozy suburban Italian restaurant where the carpaccio tastes just like the pasta, pizza or scaloppine. Hopefully this little gem will stay with us for a long time

Was there for the second time now. Very nice host and very good pizzas. I'll be back for my training next year. Update April 25, 2024 Had dinner at “Mamma Mia” again for the annual training. The food is still very good. 👍

My favorite Italian. Not just because of the pizzas, but because of the unusual dishes on the weekly menu.

To be honest, the first impression inside wasn't that great, but with the nice weather in the garden I had a very pleasant, delicious evening. The selection is large, the service is friendly and the prices are ok, some of the dishes on the daily menu are just wow

Very stylish, beautiful restaurant. Waiters are very pleasant and friendly. Prices are reasonable for what is offered and the food is delicious! A reservation is recommended because the restaurant is not too big (no criticism), the three of us were lucky, even without a reservation. Gladly again!

Warning, this report is not objective. I have known and loved this shop since 1996 when I lived in Trudering. It's probably not the best pizza in Munich (for everyone), not the best Straciatella Romana, not the best ambience etc. etc. etc. What it is - a piece of well-being for almost 30 years, very good food, great staff and simply my Italian of the heart. Anyone who has ever had a big picnic in front of them, has tried the special that has tasted the same since the beginning of time (see above) (and probably takes half of the "double calzone" home with them) and has sat at the bar notices it immediately - or never. ❤️

We are visiting from USA and out of all the places we have been to this is the best one. Service, food, atmosphere, and everything else is exceptional. Considering we don’t speak German and owner doesn’t speak English, he did his best to provide us the best service possible. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Kleine Pizzeria und Ristorante mit schönem Wirtsgarten direkt an der Wabula. Echtes italienisches Restaurant. Hier gibt es Lasagne wie früher. Erlbräu für Bierspezialisten.

Von dem Moment an, in dem ich die Pizzeria Mamma mia betrat, wusste ich, dass ich eine besondere kulinarische Erfahrung erleben würde. Der herzliche Empfang des Personals und das gemütliche Ambiente schufen sofort eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Die Speisekarte bietet eine breite Auswahl an traditionellen italienischen Gerichten, aber der Star der Show ist definitiv die Pizza. Ich entschied mich für die Pizza Margherita, und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Der Teig war perfekt knusprig und gleichzeitig luftig, die Tomatensoße frisch und aromatisch, und der Mozzarella einfach himmlisch. Neben der hervorragenden Küche war auch der Service erstklassig. Das Personal war aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein und sorgte dafür, dass wir uns durchweg wohl fühlten.

Der Rand war knusprig, der Boden hauchdünn und weich, der Geschmack super und das Tiramisu ein Traum, was soll man sonst noch sagen? Absolut empfehlenswert vor allem für den Preis. Ich möchte noch hinzufügen, dass die Pizzeria inzwischen die Pizzeria ist zu der wir immer gehen bzw. Pizza holen, noch nie enttäuscht worden und selbst wenn es Mal stressiger ist, war das Personal immer freundlich.

Bereits fünfundzwanzig Jahre lang kommt meine Familie hier her und selbst nachdem wir vor Jahren aus der Stadt gezogen sind und über eine Stunde Anfahrt haben, so kommen wir doch jedesmal gern wieder. Grandioses Essen Toller Service Schönes Ambiente Danke für alles!

Da italiani dopo una settimana di wurstel e patate siamo andati in crisi di astinenza e abbiamo cercato un posto per dare conforto alle nostre papille gustative e normalità agli apparati digerenti..... Grande scoperta questo locale gestito da un signore estroverso e veramente simpatico. Ci siamo sentiti come in Romagna noi i residenti e i locali i turisti in visita !! Abbiamo mangiato pizza e pasta al pomodoro (!😉) e la prima impressione é stata confermata. La pizza di due misure (normale o maxi) é ottima cotta alla perfezione e ben condita. Gli spaghetti al pomodoro sono spariti in pochi secondi (nonostante la porzione sia stata davvero abbondante). Ottimo pure il caffè. Rigorosamente espresso. Conto più che ragionevole 15 € a testa comprese birre e aranciata. Consigliatissimo!!

Das Essen war sehr gut. Auch Sonderwünsche waren kein Problem. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis mit freundlichem Service. So sollte es immer sein. Komme bestimmt bald wieder!
