Mozzamo Sendling in München

Ordered via Lieferando 15mins ago. After 10mins the order was cancelled. No explanation, no call, nothing. If you can't provide the service then decline the order. Don't accept and then cancel only for the money to be withheld by the bank. Totally unprofessional.

We waited 15 minutes after our arrival to order and the place was half empty, then after ordering another 35 minutes to receive only part of the order because the waitress forgot the starter, we had ordered the buffalo braid which we like so much! Sin! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Never again!

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. You should make a reservation. The restaurant is well attended. However, I found the service partly unprofessional. I don't like it when the waiter acts casual 🤷‍♀️ Still highly recommended!!

Very cosy and inviting restaurant. The mood lighting and the open seating is great. We ordered the Margherita which was good but I’ve had better Napoli pizza. The Basil Pesto Pasta with pine nuts did not disappoint and the Tiramisu was delightful. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The service was really nice and friendly. As the place filled up, it took a while to get noticed, but it was always very friendly. The atmosphere is very nicely decorated! Unfortunately, the tables are a bit crowded and it was quite loud and stuffy overall. About the food and drinks: The pizzas were kind of bland. The quality was certainly good, but it didn't give us a taste explosion at all. I still think the prices for the pizzas are reasonable, but we found the drinks prices to be outrageously high.

We were here for a business lunch at lunchtime and were completely satisfied. Very nice and quick service and the Mamma Mia menu was wonderful. We'd love to come back!

Very tasty pizzas, great service and a good atmosphere. We often go here after climbing at the climbing gym next door, absolutely fantastic! I love the salami pizza and add extra olives on it. A dream.

Excellent evening! Service was surprisingly very, very good and courteous. It doesn't get any better! The room is very cozy and has pleasant music playing To eat: All in all really good, with the bruschetta you have to be prepared for a lot of garlic ;), the Vitello Tonato tastes really good, but is probably cut a bit too thick. The truffle pasta was very good, but for the price it was a very, very small portion. :) My companions had pizza and sole, which were also particularly good Happy to come back :)

Excellent Italian with original Neapolitan pizza from the stone oven. I particularly liked the various starters. The Melanzane was great, as was the Burrata. The ingredients are of good quality and cleverly prepared.

Very bad experience! The waiter acts as if to force us to order something. He just throws the card on the table after we paid because we didn't give him a tip about his service. The food isn't that great either. Very simple and very little. Terrible! It was a disaster!

The taste is quite good, but too much ham on the pizza, that's not my idea and it's also too expensive at 15.00 euros.

We were there in the evening and ordered two pizzas, one of the waiters carelessly threw the menu at me and in the end tried to rush us out very quickly because we were the last ones in the restaurant. The other waiter, however, was very friendly and attentive. The salami pizza was perfect, the Mozzamo pizza was unfortunately completely burnt on the bottom and therefore not really edible. Suggestion for future try to check if the ground is burnt or not. I don't think it's fair to sell the customer a burnt pizza for around €18.

Best Pizzeria in the neighborhood! The lunch menu is also a very good deal.

We went to Mozzamo in Thalkirchen for the first time today and had pizzas, all of which were excellent! First-class, fresh ingredients and beautifully baked! Top! Service was friendly and attentive, the interior was chic but not overdone! Prices... well, Munich! We'll definitely be back!

Love this place to dinner dates with friends. It is always packed, so I do recommend making reservations. In the summer it is also lovely to sit outside.

We ordered ravioli and the portions are much too small (see photo), you hardly get full. The food was tasty but lukewarm, even though we only live 5 minutes from the restaurant. It's a disgrace that a dish costs €20...

Even the take away was perfectly prepared here and, as always, it tasted excellent. The Vitello was just 👌👌👌 and was a great birthday surprise with other antipasti and tiramisu. The very courteous service perfectly bridged the waiting time for the meal with an espresso on the house. Whether in a restaurant or as a takeaway, Mozzamo is always a good choice for me!

Super tasty pizza and pasta in a nice atmosphere. Depending on the time, you can also spontaneously get a table for two. Our first port of call for Italian cuisine in Munich.

Ambience very nice. Pizza was nothing special. The vegetariania was super boring. Just a little pepper and zucchini with pine nuts on top. No tomato sauce, just cheese. It wasn't really my taste, I have to say. For the price I expected more. Unfortunately the door was open the whole time. That was very uncomfortable. When I asked if the door could be closed, I was told that it wasn't possible because the oven would make it too stuffy. Well, the customer can't help it at all for the incorrect design of the ventilation. But at least we got blankets. The waiter was very nice. But I wouldn't come back. Just too expensive for what you get.

We were always happy with this Restaurant, though not this time - half the restaurant was empty and still we got the most awkward table. Ordered the pasta with truffles, which was however a complete rip off (small portion of pasta + butter + a little bit of truffles for 25€ - ingredients are worth probably about 2-2,5 euro - so the margin is way too high on this one). We are not coming back

Nice Italian restaurant on the corner - the menu is a bit small when it comes to pasta, but I can recommend the pizzas without hesitation. Nice service. Update 2024: After our last visit about 3 weeks ago, I unfortunately have to deduct 2 stars for the following reasons: The prices have probably risen significantly, because I think 20.60 euros for a Parma pizza is very sporty. A 0.33 cola for 5.40 euros is outrageous. The knives are an absolute disaster - you can tear the pizza straight away. Unfortunately, the service has also deteriorated. Neither was asked whether it tasted good or tasted good. Neither a thank you nor a nice evening was requested when checking out. Too bad!

I’ve heard a lot about the quality of pizza at this restaurant. I thought it was good but, maybe not worth the price. This restaurant has a really nice environment and excellent service. I think this adds to the price. It’s a nice place for a date, for example. The pizza dough was a bit chewy or undercooked and could use a bit more salt. The pizza itself was pretty nice, and had a lot of toppings.

Food and service excellent. I can recommend the pizzas to everyone, especially the Margherita. Really a dream. Servie very upscale (particularly noticeable when serving wine). Only the chairs and benches in the outdoor area were a bit uncomfortable because the backrests are extremely short.

Since we live in the immediate vicinity, we have often eaten there and it has always been great. So we decided to celebrate our civil wedding there and what can I say... it was just great! Starting with the planning, a lot of time was taken to respond individually to our wishes and ideas. As always, the food was excellent and the kitchen even had no problems with dishes that were not regularly on the menu (here you can see the “raspberry tiramisu”). Many thanks to Samy & his team for this unforgettable evening. We always look forward to eating here again.

I have not experienced the bad service that is sometimes mentioned here. On the contrary, our waiter was very attentive. The Vitello Tonnato was very good. The Neapolitan pizza was delicious, options for allergy sufferers were available on request (pasta). The ambience is appealing and high quality. The only thing, but that's a matter of taste: with carpaccio I would leave out the sauce and use a classic version with olive oil and maybe. still prefer lemon, rocket and parmesan.

I was very impressed with the location & the food. The price-performance ratio is also very good. We had mozzarella with tomatoes as a starter, then the gnochetti with ragout and finally tiramisu. Everything is really delicious! Gladly again & an absolute recommendation

The pizza and pasta were good. The service was friendly. On Saturday evening the restaurant was completely full, which combined with the oven made it extremely warm in the restaurant.

Great food, changing seasonal menu and the tastiest mozzarella in town. The ambience is first class thanks to the quiet furnishings. So far there have only been great, motivated and unobtrusive people there who make the experience even better. Once the music was turned up a bit too loud late at night, but we were still able to have a conversation. Tonight we're going again... :) Edit 2024: Unfortunately, the last few times both the service and the quality have decreased. Prices have risen at the same time. The latter would be completely okay if the quality remained the same.

Poor service. It might be good if you are a "local", but they trested us disrespectfully. Didn't offer kid seats, had to stare down the servers for service. Glared at us. Cant lie. The food is good.

The restaurant is easily accessible and you can easily park nearby. We had wonderful pizzas, the gnochetti with lamb ragu was excellently prepared. Tiramisu is the Italian heaven itself. I've never had such a well-made Aperol Sprizz anywhere. We celebrated a birthday and received limoncello or coffee as a gift. The service was excellent.

A nice restaurant in a quiet location near the zoo. The food is great and the service is okay. Unfortunately, after the last price increase, it's a reason not to go there anymore, it wasn't cheap before but it was okay. Unfortunately, price/performance no longer matches.

Haughty service, poorly taken care of from start to finish. Pizza good but nothing more, expensive for the offer offered. Absence of burrata for the restaurant's special pizza (which by the way is the most expensive) and alternative offered clearly not at the same level.

Far too expensive and not enough on offer for the price. Where the new opening was, there was no pizza on the first day and on the second day I wanted to buy a Pizza Tonno. As a customer, I was told that if it wasn't on the menu, it wasn't available. I'd rather go to Tabie on Implerstrasse, they have three pizzas to choose from: 27cm, 32cm, 50cm at fair prices. It's small but nice. Not recommended of zero points

Chicly furnished restaurant in Thalkirchen, very nice terrace, very, very friendly staff, we only nibbled on a pizza bianca with rosmarino, but it was very good. When the weather is nice, we recommend making a reservation on the terrace. Parking situation, surprisingly relaxed in the area.

We have been to Mozzamo Thalkirchen very often in recent years because the pizzas were delicious and the ambience was very nice. Unfortunately, the service at Mozzamo Thalkirchen has declined significantly since the beginning of 2023. My points of criticism: - Despite reservations, we often had to wait between 15 and sometimes 30 minutes until we received our table - after that it took forever until we could place an order - sometimes there was bread and oil in advance, sometimes not - depending on the waiter's mood - once the glasses are empty, no one comes by and asks if they want anything else We haven't been there for a year now and last week (May 2024) we thought we'd give Mozzamo another chance. The menu has changed in the meantime - our favorite pizza has been taken off the menu. Prices have risen sharply. The Margherita pizza now costs 13 euros. The others between 15 and 20 euros. The kicker was that the waiter “threw” the menus onto the table while we were just sitting down. A service like in a fast food restaurant. Absolutely unacceptable given the prices. We left again and won't be coming back.

The quality of the food is ok to high, the prices are also high, but the service staff's nose is even higher. Unless you are a beautiful woman. I don't know if you can still afford it as an Italian restaurant (sorry, it's really nothing special anymore ;) ). We definitely don't need it again.

Food was good, the waitress cheated on me, I said 48 euros with a tip, she typed 58 euros and without showing me the amount, put the device in front of my nose to hold the card. I had everything booked in good faith and only discovered when I got home that she had cheated me out of 10 euros!

The pizza was very good, good quality toppings. The chocolate warm soufflé was the best part of the night. It’s a bit expensive though, we spent 65 euros for two people and we only had 2 pizzas, a dessert, a water and a beer.

The two of us were at Mozzamo in Sendling on Saturday evening. The pizza was good, but unfortunately the service was very bad. The waiter seemed annoyed from the start. At 10:40 p.m. (the restaurant was almost empty) the waiters started putting up the chairs and using the loudspeaker at the bar to make phone calls. The kitchen staff carried full garbage bags through the restaurant past our table. I have never experienced something like that. This behavior is unacceptable given the prices. Never again!

Service kam an dem Tag nicht ganz hinterher, deshalb Abzüge bei den Sternen ( lag wahrscheinlich am dem Ereignis Muttertag).Sonst sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Preise sind sportlich, aber dies spiegelt sich im Essen wider. Hervorragende Pestonudeln (Parmesan wurde frisch gehobelt,was ich so noch nicht erlebt habe) und geschmacklich gute Pizza mit sehr guten Zutaten. Draußen saß man in Hausnähe etwas beengt. Die Tische direkt am Gehweg standen weiter auseinander, was bei den Tischen in Hausnähe entsprechend angepasst werden sollte. Ansonsten sehr gutes Restaurant für den besonderen Anlass👍

Leider hat die Kellnerin trotz 2 Kindern das Essen nach einer langen Wartezeit (1 Stunde) serviert, welches auch noch sehr ungesalzen, kalt und im Allgemeinen nicht dem Anspruch entsprochen hat. Auch hat sie versucht sich rauszureden und uns die Schuld zu geben für das späte Servieren der Gerichte. Nach dem Kellnerwechsel lief alles einwandfrei.

We were in this restaurant last week. The greeting we (two friends plus a dog) received was unfriendly. We were actually immediately refused any table outside because everything was reserved. Which we basically understand, but more than 90 percent of the tables were still free at this point. Only when another colleague noticed that we were thinking about leaving did he say we could take the reserved table until 7:30 p.m. Even at 7:30 p.m. no one came to the supposed reservation. One simply wishes for a different approach and approach in this situation. Our dog was given a water bowl by the waitress, who rolled her eyes, only after asking. We found this to be neither courteous nor appropriate for such a restaurant. Many people here do it much better! The seating is uncomfortable and wobbly. We wanted to have a nice evening, but we didn't feel comfortable here. Food great, service flop! Unfortunately I won't be coming back again.

I haven't experienced such BAD service in a long time. The food is OK. A meal was forgotten. Despite remembering, I waited an hour for the food and was told it would still take a while. At the time there were 6 tables occupied in the restaurant… The starters came at the same time as the main course. We were only able to place our order after 30 minutes. Drinks came after 15 minutes. Waiters unsympathetic and unfriendly.

We have Margherita and Bufala di Mozzamo, both pizza are amazing so delicious

Das Essen und Ambiente im Mozzamo ist immer großartig! Regelmäßig bestellen wir Essen zum abholen, aber ab und zu fahren wir für besondere Anlässe (Besuch von Freunden / Familie) auch zum Essen vor Ort hin. Die Bedienung sind freundlich und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top!

Zunächst sollten wir eine Tisch mit einer anderen Gruppe teilen, uns wurde dann ein anderer Tisch angeboten. Die Schnelligkeit des Services war schlecht. Wir haben einen Wein für 23,50 Euro bestellt und wurden mit 38,00 Euro belastet. Dieses Restaurant ist keine Empfehlung.

My absolute favorite Italian. But how long? We actually come very regularly. Unfortunately, service has deteriorated significantly since the beginning of the year. There are obviously some staff departures. Children simply wanted the Strozzapretti pasta with butter. The full €15 was actually charged twice for the dish with pesto. In the past, €7 or €8 were booked here. They probably couldn't or didn't want to correct Bon and were offered a drink to compensate. Too bad it was already too late for the children anyway. Last WE: Aperitifs from the table outside: Price according to the table: €7.50. The bill then said €9.50. We had a total of 5. The excuse was that they were still the old prices. Sorry, that's a blackboard and corrected in 2 minutes. Strange that this happened last year too. Check your bill!!

Wir sind seit Jahren Stammgäste im Lokal, waren bisher stets zufrieden, aber nun sind wir nicht mehr happy. Seit März 2024 gibt es eine neue Karte - die Lieblingspizza Margharita di Buffala meines Mannes ist weg und die Preise sind enorm gestiegen. Für eine kleine Flasche Cola und Tafelwasser je über 5 Euro empfinde ich als unverschämt. Ja die MWSt Erhöhung kam, aber die Preiserhöhung liegt aktuell zwischen 25 und 35 Prozent. Eine „normale“ Pizza für 20 Euro finde ich nicht mehr angemessen. Auch das Warten bis zur Aufnahme der Bestellung hat gedauert, der Cappuccino nach dem Essen satte 20 Minuten. Das nenne ich nicht serviceorientiert. Schade, wir waren bisher gern und oft da. Wir werden daher nicht mehr so oft essen gehen und das Lokal auch nicht mehr weiterempfehlen.

Well... it didn't blow me away. The service was extremely slow and kept forgetting things. But given the current situation, I can still somehow overlook that. However, the taste of the pizza was below average. The place is really nicely decorated.

I've been going there for 5 years, almost always for take away. The quality has deteriorated enormously and the prices are incredibly high. For a water, simple pizza bufala, ravioli (5 pieces of ravioli in a plate) it was 45.80 euros. The ravioli lacked salt and the pizza was below average. The two stars are for the knife and fork, which I got when I picked it up.

Unfortunately, both the service and the quality of the food have deteriorated significantly. Went on a Friday evening with a reservation and it was just very chaotic. The service staff didn't seem to have agreed with each other, people were constantly running past our table, the main course came cold and since the tables were very narrow, we were constantly jostled when serving the neighboring table. Very unfortunate. We used to enjoy going, but now it's not recommended.

Nice restaurant, very good food, prices Munich standard. Reservation recommended and allow enough time.
