Mozzamo Sendling in München

Very authentic and original Italian pizzas and the ingredients were so fresh. We really liked the service and food. Will definitely hit this spot again.

A modern and harmoniously decorated Italian restaurant. The clientele during our visit was rather young, the "rhubarb spritzer" type, many with children. The standard menu is straightforward, with the Mozzarella Bar being a specialty. There is also a weekly special. My wife and I had Gnocchetti Sardi al Ragù di Agnello and Pizza Valtellina (with fior di latte, bresaola, arugula, and tomatoes). The pasta with lamb ragu was delicious. The pizza was generously topped, with a wide crust, but too soft for our taste. We had a solid Montepulciano as our wine. Overall, the prices at "Mozzamo" are rather high. We weren't quite sure why Bossa Nova would be playing over the speakers at an Italian restaurant, but that didn't spoil the lovely evening in any way.

Wonderful food! The spaghetti con Scampi E Ruccola, marinara pizza, Burrata with proscuitto cotto and mozzarella is fantastic. Service staff is so patient explaining the dishes. Definitely coming back when we return.

The pizza delivery was excellent: it arrived warm and tasted delicious. The wait time was acceptable. The price was also reasonable. Definitely recommended!

The meal was a disaster. The side salad was dressed with only a tablespoon of ready-made balsamic dressing. The carbonara was cooked without salt and tasted just like that. The creme brulee was a vanilla pudding topped with fruit.

An absolute highlight! The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and the sauces incredibly flavorful – you can immediately tell that fresh ingredients and lots of love are used here. The exquisite dishes like the truffle risotto or the homemade ravioli are a dream and absolutely worth the money. The service is attentive and the atmosphere very inviting. If you're looking for high-quality Italian cuisine, this is the place for you! We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the Mozzamo in Thalkirchen can't compete with the one on Schellingstrasse. We sat outside, and unfortunately, people were smoking both directly behind us and in front of us while we ate. Since there were no ashtrays at the table, I would have expected it to be a non-smoking establishment. The waiters walked past them several times, but nothing was done about it. What a pity... The outdoor seating was also very uncomfortable, as there were no backrests or cushions.

Unfortunately, we weren't served at all—despite waiting for quite some time, no one cared. It was also extremely hot in the restaurant, which made our stay very unpleasant. This was unacceptable behavior for us; we won't be back.

I was here with my mother on Thursday, July 17th, and we had a wonderful evening! We didn't really like the table we were assigned outside, but our waiter immediately suggested other tables and, with his super friendly service, made it a truly wonderful evening! Our appetizer (burrata) and our pasta dishes were incredibly delicious, and the wine he recommended went perfectly with them! All the staff were very attentive and friendly; unfortunately, we can't remember the name of our super-friendly waiter... :) But thanks again! We'd love to come back!

Very relaxed, the music is jazz, it's simply awesome. The scampi pasta is definitely recommended. Drgan was great, super sweet and kind, and made everything possible for us. Thank you so much.

Incredibly delicious, I can only recommend

The service was friendly but inattentive. We waited almost an hour for our food; we had to call someone to our table to ask for our order. They didn't even ask if we wanted any more drinks. The total wait was over an hour. The pizzas were very good, but the calamari was rubbery and had to be returned.

We met up with friends and had a very good lunch, and a big compliment to the kitchen - it was simply a delight.

Not often I/we eat somewhere that deserves to get 5 stars, when taking everything into account. Here there is no doubt that 5 stars is deserved, because this is excellent value-for-money - best pizzas in town for sure and really good service too 😉👍 !! Next time we are in Munich, there is no doubt that we will come here for pizzas again!

The service and the restaurant itself are fine. Unfortunately, the pizza was a disaster. It was bone dry and the dough was inedible. Overall, a bitter disappointment.

Disappointing experience. The service was poor from the start—slow and inattentive. We were supposed to get bread with oil, but it wasn’t brought out until we asked, and even then, it was just the dry, hard edge pieces. The pesto pasta had no flavor whatsoever and was seriously overpriced for something that bland. Overall, not worth the visit.

We had made a reservation for three people over the phone. When we arrived, we were seated at a table that hadn't been wiped down. After 5 minutes, the stressed waiter came and explained in Turkish-Arabic slang that the pizza would take about 60-90 minutes and that we could only order pasta because "Lieferando bombed us, dude." This has definitely nothing to do with a gourmet Italian restaurant. The ambience is chic and modern to distract the consumer from the service. We left the restaurant immediately. At reception, we overheard a discussion in which a guest practically had to beg for dessert because the waiter said that without a reservation they "only serve drinks" 😂... unbelievable experience, 4.8 never.

Very good Neapolitan-style pizza here. Delicious stone-baked flavors in the dough and a selection of toppings made with quality ingredients. The service and ambiance are also pleasing.

Ordered a pizza via delivery at 9 pm with an estimated delivery time of 40 minutes. After more than one hour, no updates, until at 10:30 the order was cancelled without any motivation. Very unprofessional behaviour.

I celebrated my birthday there with a friend, and it was simply perfect. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed; you immediately feel welcome. The cocktails and food were excellent – ​​a real highlight! Delicious pizzas, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere 🍕

This was our first time at Mozzamo and we sat outside. The service was reasonably polite, but not very attentive. A little friendliness would have been nice, but that was probably asking too much. My pizza and wine were very good! My husband found his pizza a bit bland. I was really surprised by the uncomfortable chairs and very tightly spaced benches. I almost had to climb over the bench to get a seat at the table. If you value your guests and want them to stay longer, you should invest in reasonably comfortable furniture!

We used to enjoy going there often—you could almost say it was our favorite Italian restaurant for a while. Unfortunately, only one thing has steadily increased: the price. The quality of the dishes, on the other hand, has unfortunately gone downhill. The service was never a highlight, but now it's so bad that you almost want to apologize for ordering anything at all. It's a real shame—there used to be so much more of a la dolce vita.

Great interiors, a cosy feel with a lot of wooden interiors and really tasty food of course, standard Mozzamo quality, especially the pizza.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had — and I'm a chef! I am a chef de cuisine in Italy and, I admit, quite critical when it comes to food. But in this pizzeria in Munich I ate one of the best pizzas of my life. I was truly speechless. After discovering this place, I went back a second time with my friends — and they were thrilled too. The dough, the ingredients, the balance of flavors… everything simply perfect. I also had the pleasure of meeting Elidion, the pizza chef, with whom I exchanged a few words about our profession. You're doing an amazing job, Elidion. Keep it up — your passion can be felt.

Great Napolitano pizza & the parmigiana de melanzane was also exceptional (concentrated taste, good quality cheese & not too oily). Be careful: opening times currently on Google Maps are wrong, they close earlier (10pm on Wednesday)

We were at Mozzamo, Perlacher Platz, for dinner with our practice on April 4th, 2025: Very well-kept atmosphere, beautifully decorated. Starters, pasta, pizza and desserts were all very tasty, large selection of drinks. Waiter Francesco served us excellently: we were extremely satisfied!

The food was actually quite good but arrived after 45 minutes after ordering. I should have expected this, since the last time I was here, it came after a hour. Unfortunately no improvements were made. (So don’t go here if you’re already hungry.) Even though ambiance and food was good, I will sadly not return until the service is improved. Imagine waiting 45 mins for food and being rushed out after an hour and a half. We reserved for two hours and literally after our last bite, was asked how we will be paying, not even asked if we wanted desert or another drink. The waiter was not even helpful or apologetic when we commented that it was impolite and too early. We hope the management reads the current reviews. The service and polices are a recurring problem that loses returning customers.

We love the restaurant very much, Great mozzarella as starters, with various side dishes depending on what you like. Very good weekly dishes and pizza goes well too 👍 There are also good wines and aperitifs, in a modern atmosphere.

At Mozzamo you can experience authentic Italian cuisine in a stylish ambience. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating… the service contributes significantly to the overall pleasant experience. The starter is particularly impressive: the mozzarella bar impresses with an excellent selection of fresh side dishes that perfectly underline the taste of the cheese. The pizza is also convincing across the board, crispy, aromatic and authentically prepared. The furnishings and ambience create a relaxed, modern atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. Overall, the Mozzamo offers a lovely culinary and service-oriented stay that we can happily recommend.

Ordered via Lieferando 15mins ago. After 10mins the order was cancelled. No explanation, no call, nothing. If you can't provide the service then decline the order. Don't accept and then cancel only for the money to be withheld by the bank. Totally unprofessional.

We waited 15 minutes after our arrival to order and the place was half empty, then after ordering another 35 minutes to receive only part of the order because the waitress forgot the starter, we had ordered the buffalo braid which we like so much! Sin! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Never again!

Very cosy and inviting restaurant. The mood lighting and the open seating is great. We ordered the Margherita which was good but I’ve had better Napoli pizza. The Basil Pesto Pasta with pine nuts did not disappoint and the Tiramisu was delightful. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The service was really nice and friendly. As the place filled up, it took a while to get noticed, but it was always very friendly. The atmosphere is very nicely decorated! Unfortunately, the tables are a bit crowded and it was quite loud and stuffy overall. About the food and drinks: The pizzas were kind of bland. The quality was certainly good, but it didn't give us a taste explosion at all. I still think the prices for the pizzas are reasonable, but we found the drinks prices to be outrageously high.

Very tasty pizzas, great service and a good atmosphere. We often go here after climbing at the climbing gym next door, absolutely fantastic! I love the salami pizza and add extra olives on it. A dream.

Excellent evening! Service was surprisingly very, very good and courteous. It doesn't get any better! The room is very cozy and has pleasant music playing To eat: All in all really good, with the bruschetta you have to be prepared for a lot of garlic ;), the Vitello Tonato tastes really good, but is probably cut a bit too thick. The truffle pasta was very good, but for the price it was a very, very small portion. :) My companions had pizza and sole, which were also particularly good Happy to come back :)

Excellent Italian with original Neapolitan pizza from the stone oven. I particularly liked the various starters. The Melanzane was great, as was the Burrata. The ingredients are of good quality and cleverly prepared.

The taste is quite good, but too much ham on the pizza, that's not my idea and it's also too expensive at 15.00 euros.

We were there in the evening and ordered two pizzas, one of the waiters carelessly threw the menu at me and in the end tried to rush us out very quickly because we were the last ones in the restaurant. The other waiter, however, was very friendly and attentive. The salami pizza was perfect, the Mozzamo pizza was unfortunately completely burnt on the bottom and therefore not really edible. Suggestion for future try to check if the ground is burnt or not. I don't think it's fair to sell the customer a burnt pizza for around €18.

Love this place to dinner dates with friends. It is always packed, so I do recommend making reservations. In the summer it is also lovely to sit outside.

We ordered ravioli and the portions are much too small (see photo), you hardly get full. The food was tasty but lukewarm, even though we only live 5 minutes from the restaurant. It's a disgrace that a dish costs €20...

Even the take away was perfectly prepared here and, as always, it tasted excellent. The Vitello was just 👌👌👌 and was a great birthday surprise with other antipasti and tiramisu. The very courteous service perfectly bridged the waiting time for the meal with an espresso on the house. Whether in a restaurant or as a takeaway, Mozzamo is always a good choice for me!

Ambience very nice. Pizza was nothing special. The vegetariania was super boring. Just a little pepper and zucchini with pine nuts on top. No tomato sauce, just cheese. It wasn't really my taste, I have to say. For the price I expected more. Unfortunately the door was open the whole time. That was very uncomfortable. When I asked if the door could be closed, I was told that it wasn't possible because the oven would make it too stuffy. Well, the customer can't help it at all for the incorrect design of the ventilation. But at least we got blankets. The waiter was very nice. But I wouldn't come back. Just too expensive for what you get.

We were always happy with this Restaurant, though not this time - half the restaurant was empty and still we got the most awkward table. Ordered the pasta with truffles, which was however a complete rip off (small portion of pasta + butter + a little bit of truffles for 25€ - ingredients are worth probably about 2-2,5 euro - so the margin is way too high on this one). We are not coming back

Nice Italian restaurant on the corner - the menu is a bit small when it comes to pasta, but I can recommend the pizzas without hesitation. Nice service. Update 2024: After our last visit about 3 weeks ago, I unfortunately have to deduct 2 stars for the following reasons: The prices have probably risen significantly, because I think 20.60 euros for a Parma pizza is very sporty. A 0.33 cola for 5.40 euros is outrageous. The knives are an absolute disaster - you can tear the pizza straight away. Unfortunately, the service has also deteriorated. Neither was asked whether it tasted good or tasted good. Neither a thank you nor a nice evening was requested when checking out. Too bad!

I’ve heard a lot about the quality of pizza at this restaurant. I thought it was good but, maybe not worth the price. This restaurant has a really nice environment and excellent service. I think this adds to the price. It’s a nice place for a date, for example. The pizza dough was a bit chewy or undercooked and could use a bit more salt. The pizza itself was pretty nice, and had a lot of toppings.
