Through a media report I became aware of Giovanni Stincone, the 'Padrone' of this very rustic restaurant, who was crowned European Pizza Champion some time ago for his traditional and innovative creations. So it's no wonder that most visitors also had one of the steaming pizzas, even though the menu includes numerous other Italian classics. But the house specialty is really a stunner: a totally fluffy yet crispy dough with a high edge, which, in combination with the fresh topping, tastes fabulous from the first to the last bite! A blunt, friendly team with typical local casualness rounds off the good impression! Buon appetite! 🍷🍕🍧
Went again recently for dinner with friends. Unfortunately it's no longer the same as it was months ago, we've experienced this for the second time - a shame😏
As soon as I entered I Trulli in Friedrichshafen, I had the feeling of being a guest of friends. The warm welcome and the relaxed atmosphere immediately make it clear: This is a family-run business - and you can feel that in every detail. You immediately feel comfortable and in good hands.
I ordered the Tagliolini con tartufo nero – homemade pasta with black truffle. Simply heavenly. The pasta was perfectly al dente, wonderfully fresh, and the truffle was not just subtly grated, but really present. Aromatic, elegant – a real highlight.
Finally, there was a tiramisu that tasted like it was made by Nonna: airy, creamy, not too sweet, with a great espresso note and a hint of cocoa. That's exactly how it should be.
Overall, a real gem in Friedrichshafen. Authentic Italian cuisine, family atmosphere and great attention to detail – I will definitely be back
It's a small, sweet, rustic restaurant. But great, we were 6 people and were welcomed straight away and enjoyed the really delicious food. Keep it up!!!
Highly recommended! The pizzas were super tasty. I asked for a pizza with mushrooms and olives and this request was fulfilled without any problem! Otherwise there weren't very many vegetarian pizzas, but I was very satisfied :)
