Because of the good reviews, we wanted to have a nice dinner on a weekend and went straight back out, despite having a reservation, we were put in the kitchen to eat.

This is how pizza should taste. I think it's a shame that Romana pizza has become established internationally. I find Neapolitan pizzas, like those offered at La Pergola, better because they have a thick, fluffy edge and a thin base. The homemade tiramisu was also very tasty. Service and ambience were also very good. The waiting times for the food were noticeably short, even though we didn't make a reservation. My highlight: the truffle pizza.

I made a pizza short at Giovanni's. In my opinion, the pizza course is unique! First we had 2 1/2 hours of theory about pizza ovens, pizza accessories, different pizza doughs, etc. This theory was never boring and there was always hands-on visual material. Afterwards 2 1/2 had practice. First we made pizza dough with a kneading machine. Giovanni showed us all the intricacies of preparing pizza dough. Then we were allowed to knead ourselves. And then it was off to shaping and baking the focaccia. Afterwards we were able to try the delicious focaccia. And everyone was allowed to bake their own pizza. Giovanni was always available to give advice and support. Conclusion: The pizza course with Giovanni and his wife is a delicious experience and I can only recommend this course to every lover of Italian cuisine.

Great experience! We went to la Pergola for a pizza course. It really is a fun day and you learn something from it. Giovanni and Marta are super nice. And at the end there is homemade pizza, success guaranteed :-)

The classic salami pizza was really really good. Of course I can't judge whether it's the best in the world, the best in Europe or whatever. To be honest, I've never had a better salami pizza. The dough was perfect, as were the ingredients. Fresh fruity tomato sauce, good cheese, great salami. We also had a pizza from the weekly menu, which was more special. It's very good, but you just have to be willing to experiment. If you want to taste a real difference, compare the simple pizzas. If you just want variety, go for the special pizzas. Bruschetta was also great.

We ate here today and generally agree with the previous reviews. The pizza is really exceptionally tasty and delicious, we can recommend it with a clear conscience. The prices are relatively hefty considering what you get for it. The homemade cannelloni were tasty in themselves, but a very small portion for 14.90 and still very al dente. There was no bread with the starter salads (Insalatina), as I am usually used to. The service was average, OK but not particularly warm. At the beginning we almost had the feeling of being disturbed, but that could also be because we arrived shortly after 4 p.m. We would probably come back for the pizza.

A restaurant in the city center. The seafood in the seafood noodles is very fresh and the ingredients are sufficient. The noodles are slightly salty but very dry, 4.8 points. The seafood pizza is slightly soft, but very tough and has a chewy texture, 4.8 points. Beef rice as a side dish. A bit sour and sweet, 4.3 points

So far only ordered via delivery service and the pizza has always been very good. Today we wanted to eat there for the first time (Wednesday evening) without a reservation. When we arrived there were 3 tables occupied outside and there were no reservation cards anywhere. It took a while until they could give us a table. Then we waited 10 minutes for someone to take our order, but no one came. Two waiters kept running around without delivering food. They spent most of their time looking at the reservation book to distribute arriving guests. Otherwise they just walked back and forth without visibly doing anything. You should probably take action yourself for every step, there is no trace of service here. The prices are also absolutely outrageous - the pizza is delicious, no question. But charging 40% more than the competition is just cheeky. Instead there are plastic tables and uncomfortable metal chairs and the service is non-existent. Then we left and went to the Greek restaurant next door. Ordered immediately, drinks arrived after 2 minutes, food after another 5. That's what I call organized. We certainly no longer order pizzas via the delivery service.

Unfortunately I can't rate it 😞 Opened according to Google, it was 8/24/24 There's a note on the front door saying we're on vacation🫥 It's a shame about the journey

If you want to eat a good pizza you should stop by here. The dough is airy and loose, topped with fresh ingredients and tastes very good. Unfortunately, the ambience (outside) wasn't great, right on the street and not very lovingly furnished.

La Pergola is on of my favorite places to have a pizza because they have a really good dough and seem to use good toppings as well. Additionally they are open to my favorite pizza carbonara even though it's not on the menu.

The pizza was very tasty, but I wanted to eat the pizza in the restaurant, the waiter said it wasn't possible because it was a small pizza. However, I suspect that the waiter just didn't feel like setting the table for me. He sent me away in an inhumane way, even though the restaurant was practically empty with 4 guests. They could have simply set the table for me in a customer-friendly manner and I would have bought something extra, but it wasn't possible. They scared me away as if I were someone. You shouldn't treat people like that, I think it's very immoral.

Yesterday we ordered 4 pieces of 32 cm pizza, first they were delivered incorrectly, second time 2 pizzas were very cold and dough was very soft. Newly baked pizzas were also smaller than other 2 pizzas. Our expectations were different.

A nice, small Italian restaurant with a small but well-positioned selection. The pizza, spaghetti and cannelloni in our group tasted incredibly delicious and authentically Italian. I would have liked to have taken three portions of the dessert with me. Unfortunately, we jumped on the dishes too quickly and didn't take any more photos.

So I can't completely agree with the previous reviews. Was only moderately impressed. Was our second visit here and overall it went downhill. Pizza - was good but too expensive (for Garching, even for Munich) Service - super unfriendly. No smile. Ambience - I don't understand why you're always seated at the back in front of the pizza oven when the whole place is empty. Uncomfortable chairs and not really nice room. Neither does Bill Gans. Only the total amount was stated before paying. Overall, I won't be coming back for a while. There are other Italians who are friendlier and cheaper.

This pizza is truly one of the very best

I was so sceptical before coming to this place after reading the reviews. Addressing the process- yes, indeed, they are on a high level, typical for Munich and not for Garching. But also you need to take into consideration that the chef is like a brand, he received some rewards so it is not a surprise the prices are higher. When you going to acknowledged Micheline restaurants you also pay a bit for the branding. Anyway, was it the best pizza I’ve had in my life? No. But it was very very good. I tried pizza with truffles and chestnuts, one on regular dough and the other on some kind of their special dough. Truffle pizza was good but I don’t think a combination of tomatoes and truffles is good, tomatoes overpower truffles. The pizza with chestnuts, on the other hand, was one of the best I’ve ever had. This special dough was aromatic and delicious, the toppings were well combined and generous. It’s such a unique combo of chestnuts, meat and ricotta that I’ve never tried before. The staff was also friendly, they squished us in despite they were fully booked with reservations. All in all I highly recommend this place.

The best pizza in Bavaria! Absolute perfection

Trotz Preisgewinn des Pizzabäckers war ich nicht so sehr beeindruckt, offen gestanden. Teig war schön luftig, wenn auch eher geschmacksneutral, in der Mitte eigentlich lediglich Matsch und die Capricciosa kam mit Paprika, was einfach nicht geschmeckt hat, es tut mir leid. Bruschetta vorher war leidlich, Tiramisu nachher war wirklich nicht gut. Und es war teuer. Sehr teuer. Und zwar für München, nicht Garching. Würde ich wiederkommen? Nun ja, dafür gibt es in München einfach zu viele Restaurants mit mir besser schmeckender Pizza Napoletana. Günstiger zudem.

Die Pizza ist an sich nicht schlecht, jedoch sind die Preise für die Größe und den Belag absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Auch zum Ambiente und der Lustlosigkeit des Services passen die Preise leider nicht.

Ich bin durch den Artikel ,,Bester Pizzabäcker kommt aus Garching" auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Also sofort dort hin. Das Ambiente konnte mich leider nicht wirklich überzeugen. Es war einfach alles ein wenig altbacken. Im Gegensatz dazu ist das Essen wirklich sehr gut. Kleine Karte (Nudeln, Pizzen, ein paar kleine Vorspeisen) die in Sachen Qualität wirklich punkten kann. Ich hatte natürlich eine Pizza. Geschmacklich mal etwas anderes, im Gegensatz zu den ganzen anderen Pizzen im Umkreis. Der Service war den ganzen Abend zuvorkommend und freundliche und zudem authentisch italienisch. In großen und ganzen wirklich ein toller Italiener, den ich mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen kann!!!

Wir bestellen hier regelmäßig Pizza für die Arbeit. Die Fahrer sind immer sehr freundlich, Lieferzeit ist immer recht fix und die Pizzen schmecken immer super. Auch extra Wünsche werden immer eingehalten. Und als Tipp: Auf der Homepage gibts bei Online-Bestellungen immer etwas Rabatt, wenn man nicht über Lieferando bestellt. 👍

Wir haben eine Pizza halb halb bestellt und 2 getränke, wir haben dafür insgesamt 25 € bezahlt. Die Pizza war innerhalb von 3 min da, so hat sie auch geschmeckt. Die Tomatensoße war total bitter, der Belag ansonsten fad und verbrannt. Die getränke haben abgestanden geschmeckt. (Bei unserem Stammitaliener kriegt man für 20€ 2 Pizzen und zwei getränke) einfach nicht empfehlenswert Insgesamt von Bestellung bis Bezahlung waren wir 15 Minuten in dem Lokal.

I've been struggling to find a nice Italian restaurant in Munich and I finally found it. It is 100% worth the trip to Garching. It is easily reachable with the U6 from Marienplatz. You can taste the great quality of the ingredients and the love they put in every dish they make. The waiters are super nice and available for your requests, the place is cozy and has the typical traditional Italian vibe. The price is fair and worth the quality of the ingredients. Will surely come back.

Pizza mit Spanferkel war okay, aber nichts besonderes. Leider gibt es die prämierte Pizza nicht zum Essen. Tiramisu war m.E. nicht selber gemacht und schmeckte nicht wie ein Tiramisu. Weine waren sehr, sehr gut! Top Service vor Ort.

Wir haben hervorragend gegessen und hätten gerne nach dem Dessert noch ein zwei Runden getrunken. Leider kam dann nur noch selten jemand. Sonst war es wirklich hervorragend.

Habe selbst einen Pizzaofen und beschäftige mich sehr mit diesen Thema. Im Ristorante La Pergola bekommt ihr eine wirkliche Pizza Napoletana. Von der Teigführung bis zum auch qualitativ hochwertigen Belag authentisch und sehr schmackhaft. Die Preise sind eher hoch, aber der Geschmack und die Inspirationen für die Pizza zu Hause sind es allemal wert. Außerdem lieber einmal weniger Pizza essen gehen, dafür aber wirklich gut. Complimenti!

Die Pizza war ganz ausgezeichnet Teig mega gut, belag ausgefallen Natürlich für garching teuer - Europameister halt....

Auf eine Pizza Frutti di Mare gehören, Krabben, Muscheln, Sardellen evtl. Tintenfisch und Shrimps, aber kein Surimi. Das hat dem besten Europäischen Pizzabäcker 3 Sterne gekostet. Sein Geheimnis: ausgewählte Zutaten. Surimi? Er kann es garantiert besser;-) Bis zum nächsten mal in Garching.

Spontan hier Essen gewesen - eigentlich aus der Not heraus. Haben uns wie in einer kleinen Pizzeria in Italien, fernab von Touristen gefühlt.

Die Pizza hat mich leider geschmacklich nicht überzeugen können. Ich fand diese eher trocken. Der Pizzarand war mir persönlich zu knusprig für eine neapolitanische Pizza. Die Tomensoße ist jedoch fein und der Fior di Latte Mozzarella hat eine gute Qualität.

Die Pizza hatte einen sehr dicken Rand und war nur mäßig belegt für 19 Euro hatte ich mir was anderes erwartet. Die restliche Pizza die i h mit nach Hause genommen habe war zusammen geklappt und lieblos verpackt. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich.

Habe hier eine wirklich sehr gute Pizza gegessen, Service hat auch gestimmt, komme sehr gerne wieder.

Der Preis für eine Pizza Porchetta € 19.90. Was mir zuerst zu viel wirkte, nach reichlichem überlegen: der Belag mit Steinpilzen und Spanferkelscheiben stimmte (Menge, Geschmack, Qualität: Pilze wirkten frisch, nicht aus der Dose, was Standard sein muss!), die Pizza wohl fachgerecht. 2. in den Preis eines Gerichts fließen immer auch die Gesamt- ,Betriebskosten des Restaurants ein, auch wenn uns das als Kunden/Gäste bezogen auf das Einzelgericht nicht schmeckt. Klar hätte ich auch lieber nur € 12.90 (Wareneinsatz!) bezahlt. Erwartung, weil ausgezeichneter Pizzabäcker + wir kamen kamen extra aus München - und Umsetzung lagen im Spannungsbereich. Eher war der Insalata la Pergola mit € 16.90 preislich gut bemessen, was den Wareneinsatz: 1 Ei, Ruccola, 5 kleine Garnelen und Thunfisch aus der Dose, große geschnittene Tomaten, Paprika und Gurken angeht... Positiv: das Hell kostet nur €4.30 :-) Freundlichkeit des Service: ein Lächeln wäre sehr wünschenswert ! Ein neutraler Gesichtsausdruck empfindet der Gast nicht als erwünscht. Wiederholungstäter werde ich mit meiner Frau nicht sein, dafür gibt es im münchner Zentrum Alternativen, wenn auch hier die Konkurrenz überschaubar ist. Unterm Strich leider nur drei Sterne.

Habe zufällig einen Artikel in meiner Tageszeitung über eine Auszeichnung dieses neapolitanischen Restaurant gelesen, also musste ich natürlich hin. Waren am Samstag abend zu dritt hier, saßen bei schönem Wetter draußen. Der Außenbereich ist eher klein aber schön durch Sonnenschirme beschattet. Der Service ist schnell und unsere Pizzen wurden auch schnell gebracht. Alle Pizzen haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Was nicht so unser Fall war das Tiramisu es war einfach zu sahnig aber jeder macht es halt anders. Nichts desto trotz war es eine leckere Erfahrung und wir kommen gerne wieder. Reservierung empfiehlt sich!

Die Pizza war sehr lecker, der Preis zwischen 15,- € bis 24,- € zu hoch. Eine Weinschorle 0,2 Liter für 6,90 € ist definitiv zu teuer.

Wir waren dort, weil wir den Bericht in der TZ mal gelesen haben. Einmal Pizza Salami und eine aus der Wochenkarte. Ja was soll ich sonst sagen... die Pizza waren einfach klasse!! Soooo locker war der Rand. Fein, dünn in der Mitte. Für Pizza braucht man ja nicht nach Italien fahren...sondern nach Garching. Eine Stunde Fahren mit ÖPNV aus Mü. Westen hat sich gelohnt. Mit der Reservierung hat es auch gut geklappt. Alles Top. Weiter so. Wir kommen wieder!

Ich war einige Zeit in Napoli und kenne mich mit guter Pizza aus. Das ist definitiv eine erstklassige, sehr leckere Pizza. Die Dessert sind übrigens auch der Wahnsinn. Mamma Mia!! Das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön. Fühlt sich an wie in Bella Italia. Ein Besuch im La Pergola stillt immer wieder ein bisschen meine Sehnsucht nach Italien.

Ich hatte eine Pizza von der Tageskarte und vielleicht war das einfach eine falsche Wahl. Die Preise fand ich aber übertrieben hoch: bis zu 24,-EUR für EINE Pizza. Und die war nicht einmal mit Gold belegt. Die Pizza bei unserem Stamm-Italiener kostet nur die Hälfte und ist dreimal besser. Das Ambiente ist schön, man sitzt aber direkt neben der Straße. Wenn man draußen sitzen möchte, muss man unbedingt reservieren. Ich kann dieses Lokal nicht empfehlen.
