We found this restaurant just by walking by and looking at the menu posted outside. It turned out to be a wonderful experience; the food was absolutely excellant! We returned a second night and left with exactly the same sentiments as the first time! The staff was really friendly and the prices were correct. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to taste how rest Italian food tastes!

Pathetic experience. Very rude and perhaps racist staff. We were cycling along Lake Konstanz and found this place in time for our lunch break after having cycled for more than 4 hours. After making sure that they have a table available, we went out to lock our cycles. The waitress came out running to tell us that they don't have any pizzas (we had not even told them that we wanted a pizza). This was a first sign that we were not wanted there, which we couldn't catch. Since I was exhausted, I was drinking my own water with electrolytes (from the bottle that I was carrying with me). The waitress came and told that I can not drink my own water. My phone was discharged due to continuous map navigation. I requested the staff if I can plug my charger somewhere. The waiter bluntly refused. We ordered a pasta and a bruschetta for me and my wife. Our teenage daughter wanted to share the food with us so she didn't order anything. After asking for the cheque, I saw that they had charged Euro 1.5 without any prior notice, for an empty plate that we had requested for our daughter to share the food. Pathetic experience which ruined our otherwise perfect day cycling around the lake.

We are delighted with our visit to this restaurant. We had pasta and tiramisu. Everything was excellent. And the staff was very friendly.

Friendly service, small menu but nicely presented. Italian-inspired, unfortunately with a limited wine list.

I went there again for dinner after a long time. Nothing has changed. The food is absolutely top class. Rounded off by the friendly service, perfect.

An all-round successful evening with great food and very friendly service. Italian cuisine that is worth seeing and tasting. Even if there is no pizza maker, there is no lack of selection and delicious dishes. The weekly menu is highly recommended. The homemade pasta is also highly recommended. Have fun with your visit.

If you google a pizzeria, Trulli appears. If you visit the restaurant, the menu says Ristorante-Pizzeria. You open the menu and see there is NO pizza! All the children were completely disappointed, so they switched to noodle. Children's portion costs €1.50 less than adult portion: here it is better to take an adult portion and divide it between two plates. And removes the word “pizzeria” from the menu.

Great food with a cozy atmosphere. Incredibly friendly service that is not intrusive but attentive. The presentation of the food was very appealing. Price/performance ratio was great! We were here during the trade fair and reserved a table in advance. Unfortunately, guests without a reservation had to be turned away because the restaurant was fully booked.

Cozy atmosphere with a strong Italian touch. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and the quick service. Unfortunately, the music selection wasn't optimal - Italian radio seemed a bit inappropriate for a quiet evening. Nevertheless, a recommended address for lovers of authentic atmosphere and fast service. Attention, no pizza!

Schade das es nur 5 Sterne zu vergeben gibt. Wir waren 2 Tage in Folge dort beim essen weil wir wirklich begeistert waren. Das Personal ist super nett zu uns gewesen. Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt und die Qualität des Essen war wirklich top. Die Pizza schmeckt wie in Italien und die Pasta / Salat war perfekt gewürzt. Also unbedingt einen Platz reservieren und den Abend dort genießen. Wir werden wieder kommen👍 Vielen Dank für alles.

Einziger Laden der nach 22:00Uhr noch bedient! Dazu kommt ein sympathischer Service, sowie eine gute Pizza. Zusätzlich sehr nettes Ambiente.

Lovely, cosy restaurant with an unpretentious menu of fresh tasty dishes and good wines. The staff are very welcoming. Pizza wasn't on the menu when we went, but there was plenty to choose from. We went back three times and enjoyed all we ordered.

Wunderbares Ambiente, sehr gutes Essen, perfekter Services. Wir kamen noch vielen Jahren wieder zurück ins Trulli, und waren total Begeistert. Patricia ist eine hervorragende Köchin, die Nudeln waren auf den Punkt genau gekocht und vom Geschmack mhhhh. Der Vorspeisenteller , perfekt , und wunderschön serviert. Der Wein gut gekühlt. Und das ganze drumherum, sprich schöne Gläser und kein 08/15 Besteck. Wir können dieses Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen. Es war ein perfekter Mittagslunch. Danke

Ein rundum gelungenes Essen mit tollem freundlichen Service. Italienische Küche, die sich sehen lassen kann. Auch wenn der Pizzabäcker fehlt, an Auswahl und leckeren Gerichten fehlt es nicht. Die selbstgemachte Pasta ist ein Muss!

Eine Stunde auf Vorspeise gewartet. Eine weitere auf den Hauptgang. Service hat sich wenig gekümmert. Essen war versalzen. Vorspeise war jedoch gut!

Der Polpo alla Griglia war Spitze, das Saltimbocca exzellent. Beim nächsten Besuch in Friedrichshafen kommen wir wieder!

Sehr gutes wenn auch nicht gerade preiswertrs Essen. Selbstgemachte Spaghetti sind der Hammer! Das letzte Mal habe ich mir Scampi a la Griglia geleistet. Ein Gedicht! Superzarter Pulpo!

Sehr freundliches nettes Personal . Eineinhalb Stunden auf Vorspeise warten . Nach 2 std keine Hauptspeise die aus burata salat (kalte Speise ) , penne pomodoro , und Baby calamari’s vom grill mit Pommes , definitiv viel zu lang . Wohlgemerkt drei Getränke und Restaurant halb voll mit zwei Servicekräften . Nach 2 std kommt essen dann nicht so das man gemeinsam essen kann . Gutes Essen schönes Ambiente , wirklich mega herzliches Personal aber leider sind die Wartezeiten nicht tragbar und somit nicht Preis Leistungsverhältnis stehen .

The food was good. The wait for food was quite long, almost too long and needed complaining about. The atmosphere was nothing special on a street full of restaurants. I will visit this restaurant again in the future to see if it improves.

Angenehmes Klima, nettes Personal, angemessene Preise, hygienische Räumlichkeiten sowie Toiletten

Wir hatten hier zu 6. einen Tisch für 20 Uhr an einem Freitagabend in der Vorsaison reserviert. Unsere Hauptspeisen kamen nach rund 1,5 Stunden, hingehalten wurden wir mit trocken Brot. Service war anfangs freundlich und aufmerksam, nachdem wir mehrmals nach unserem Essen gefragt hatten wurde der Service gewechselt, offensichtlich fehlte es der ersten Servicekraft an Professionalität mit der Situation umzugehen. Die Hauptspeisen waren überwiegend gut, zwei der Gerichte waren überwürzt und die Gerichte mit Muscheln haben dazu geführt, dass es den Konsumenten in der Nacht und am nächsten Tag schlecht ging. War insgesamt dann also leider eher schlecht, wir kommen nicht nochmal wieder.

Selten so gute Pasta gegessen - auch der Beilagensalat und der Kaffee war top. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Ich komme wieder!

Alles was wir uns bestellt haben war mega. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service

Essen war klasse, eine der besten Lasagne die ich je gegessen hab. Personal war sehr freundlich und die Preise völlig OK. Rustikale Ausstattung, dass muss man mögen. Gerne wieder.

Die Nudeln waren sehr lecker. Die stolzen Preise sind gerechtfertigt.

Lovely Italian dining experience. At the outset our host advised ‘no pizza okay’ - which suited us fine! In fact the menu was broad enough to meet all desires and the pasta was absolutely delicious. Best lasagne he’s ever had said Number 1 Son (he’s had plenty!!). The truffle tagliolini was cooked, and the flavours balanced, to perfection. Smoothest panacotta - like eating silky clouds. So pleased we walked past and decided to go into this restaurant!

Nett eingerichtetes Restaurant. Ich hatte die hausgemachten Nudeln welche sehr gut waren. Was mir besonders gefallen hat, war dass das Lokal in 2 Räume aufgeteilt ist und trotz guter Auslastung die Lautstärke absolut ok war. Ebenso war das Essen für die Auslastung sehr schnell am Platz.

Gestern hatten wir einen wirklich schönen Abend im I Trulli. Egal ob Carpaccio, Trüffel-Tagliolini oder Scaloppine ai funghi - es hat einfach gut geschmeckt. Zwei Negroni und zwei Espresso dazu - so sieht doch ein ziemlich perfekter italienischer Abend aus. Vielen Dank auch für den charmanten Service.

Gutes Essen und angemessene Preise. Kein Billigitaliener. Wir hatten Lasagne sowie Doradenfilet im Hauptgang. Vorspeisen: Minestrone und ThunfischCarpaccio. Nachspeise: CremeBrulee Apperativ 2xMartini sowie Bier und Tafelwasser. Insgesamt haben wir 81 Euro bezahlt.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Atmosphäre war super. Die Pizza hat sehr gut geschmeckt und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Leider waren wir nur übers Wochenende in Friedrichshafen, sonst würden wir bestimmt öfters dort essen 🍕🍴

Nach einer längeren Pause hatten wir mal wieder Lust aufs I Trulli und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Vor allem der Service war genial: aufmerksam, charmant und professionell. Das Essen hat uns wirklich gut geschmeckt, Antipasti und Bruschetta waren frisch und ein schöner Eintsieg und auch die beiden Pasta-Gerichte haben uns nicht enttäuscht. Wir haben den unkomplizierten Abend genossen. Wir freue uns auf eine zeitnahe Wiederholung.

Wir haben hier zum Abschluss unseres Aufenthalts in Friedrichshafen gegessen! Das Essen ist hervorragend, die Portionen sind angemessen! Das Personal ist freundlich, allerdings fand ich den Preis für die Antipasti Misto (16,50 €) alles Andere als angemessen! 2 Scheiben Pecorino, 2 Scheiben Mortadella, 1 Artischocke, 2 Scheiben roher Schinken und ein paar Oliven... die Qualität war gut, nur stimmte hier das Verhältnis leider nicht

We have been four times to Friedrichshafen and only now visited I Trulli. Don't make the same mistake as we did - go there now. We experienced truly fantastic Italian food combined with lovely and attentive service. You will not have a view of lake Constance, but you will not having to pay for that either but instead experience a lovely Italian cuisine combined with great service. This is our favourite Italian restaurant in Friedrichshafen and it's definately worth a visit.

Food was very good, service very slow it lacked attention. Located right in the center of town in the pedestrian area.

I think it is the best Italian restaurant in Bodensee, I was two times and it was a turning car show time, so I booked it a week ago in Japan. The reservation at 6 o'clock PM was full at half past 6 o'clock in this restaurant. All the dishes were delicious, and the red wine Amarone was also affordable. Grappa was also delicious, and I thought it would come again next time.

We, party of three just walked in by chance. Although a pretty busy evening there, an attentive waitress managed to get us a table within a minute. Pizzabread and Pizza itself was very delicious and good value for money. Waitress is very good, always attentive but not too pushy as you might now from some in the US. Good atmosphere here, where you easily add another beer or two :-)

I loved everything about this place. The food is very good and reasonably priced, the ambience is nice and inviting, and the service is amazing. The staff are friendly and fast and always make sure that you are enjoying yourself.

I went with my wife and two colleagues from work for a relaxing evening. The inside decoration is nice and we were greeted by the waitress for the evening. She was very helpful, friendly and funny. We all had pizza which was delicious and just the right size. I usually find the pizza to be too big for one person at other pizzerias around the Bodensee but this was perfect. The waitress was also very attentive and ensured we had enough to drink etc without interrupting us too much.

We stopped here with friends for lunch. It was delicious the service was friendly. Each dish fresh and tasted great. The outside seating area lends itself to people watching.

We had our lunch here today and enjoyed a nice bruschetta with aubergines and a tasty plate of spaghetti al tonno. Friendly service and nice espresso after lunch. The Nero d'Avola wine was enjoyable too!!!

The I Trulli Ristorante Pizzeria was visited with a group of colleagues. Majority of us got pizza, no better / no worse than Italians across many cities' high streets. The disappointing things where no Italian beer , just wine. Also they had a minimum charge of 20€, if you use credit cards

I was in town for a large trade event so all the restaurants were packed, and the staff were really under pressure. But despite that, they were lovely and found us a table, and the pizzas really are very good indeed. Highly recommended for both food, service and atmosphere.

We have been coming to Friedrichshafen for eleven years and on almost every visit we have eaten at Ristorante Trulli. Family run by Familie Sciocchetti, the restaurant offers excellent value and good service. A wide range of pastas, meats, fish and pizza are on offer....

As a frequent visitor to Friedrichshafen, I try to stay near I Trulli Ecuador the restaurant is a joy to visit. Excellent kitchen, with a broad menu and great service.

This is a must visit restaurant in Friedrichshaufen. Good Italian cuisine. It is always busy here and the tables are cramped, but it is worth it. Last might I had one of the risotto dishes and a dinner salad which were both excellent. Everyone at...
