My favorite place to dine by the lake.

My friends and I went here, and we absolutely loved it! First of all, the atmosphere and the place itself are really cozy, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. Secondly, the food was amazing — we all had different pasta dishes, and they tasted fantastic. And last but not least, the staff were incredibly kind and took such good care of us. We’ll definitely be coming back — only great things to say about this place!

The staff are exceptionally child-friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is highly recommended; the food was excellent and the ambiance with its lake view was superb. We'd gladly return anytime, keep up the good work!

The food was good, the service was very friendly, For older people, please note: there are many stairs to the first floor, the chairs inside are a bit higher than usual, and it can get a little chilly outside despite the heaters. However, I can recommend it.

A little piece of Italy right on Lake Constance. I've never eaten such authentic and delicious Italian food outside of Italy. Homemade, fresh pasta and a variety of authentic sauces. The pizza also tastes like you're sitting in Bella Italia. The meat and fish dishes are also impressive, as I could see from the neighboring tables. A large selection of Italian aperitifs, wines, and coffee specialties, as well as the professional, warm, and friendly service, round off the experience perfectly. Great view of the lake, comfortable chairs, and aesthetic decor on top. I was there alone on Monday and with my family on Wednesday, and I was immediately recognized. As a little "welcome-back thank you," I received a limoncello on the house. On Saturday, I was there alone again and was greeted from afar with a joyful laugh and a wave. Several employees immediately told me how happy they were to be back. I was seated in the same seat I had on Monday. They had remembered it. Such attentive service with such a high turnover and so many customers every day is extremely remarkable and rare. The lasagna I ended up with was the best of my life. The same goes for the tiramisu. I stopped for a coffee and a tiramisu and ate here one last time on the last evening of my vacation. Again, I was recognized, and again, everyone was genuinely happy. To have found a place where you feel at home after only a week of vacation is very special and I've never experienced anything like it before. I'm already looking forward to my next vacation in Friedrichshafen, when I can come back here. Actually, a 6/5, because I was more than happy. All expectations were exceeded!! The best Italian restaurant outside of Italy!!! And even there, few can compete. Grazie mille, a presto!

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch, as the sign outside promised "homemade apple strudel." We received quick and friendly service and were lucky to get the last two slices. We enjoyed this delicious pastry right on Lake Constance with a fantastic view.

The food was outstanding, with a very high level of flavor and beautifully presented. The location is also truly stunning and invites you to linger. Unfortunately, the service couldn't live up to this standard. The waitresses seemed unfriendly and unaccommodating, which significantly spoiled the overall impression. It's a real shame, because the food and ambiance easily deserved top marks.

I have to say, the only good thing about the restaurant was the ambiance, which is why it gave it 4 stars. Unfortunately, it was a bit too loud. I have to say, the service didn't deserve a star at all; it was totally unfriendly. The food took some getting used to.

Excellent Italian cuisine in a beautiful lakeside location. The pizza and homemade lasagna are absolutely delicious. If you're lucky enough to get a table right by the lake, you'll have a wonderful view of the lake.

Our finale in the late afternoon after a boat and cable car ride to the Pfänder... ...luckily, we got the "front-sea table" in great weather...the location and the ambiance of eating there right on Lake Constance is simply fantastic... ...we had two pizzas 🍕 🍕 and a mixed salad 🥗, plus an affogato and an espresso ☕️ to finish... the pizzas were fantastic...superb toppings, very good dough...baked just right in the wood-fired oven...👍🏻🏆...the pizza also comes with a mini pizza cutter for everyone (for cutting, not as a souvenir 😉)...which does its job excellently...😂... ...all in all, I would say that eating there is a must... many thanks also to the staff and the very friendly and attentive waiters... ...that's why they also serve all 5 stars 🌟 unfortunately there is no more, because I would actually give more...

Good food, good service and vautiful view of the lake..

My mother and I have visited Bella Vista three or four times during our summer vacations over the past three years, and we were always satisfied, but today's experience is completely unacceptable for a reputable restaurant. Some of the cutlery provided was not properly washed and dirty, my pasta wasn't cooked all the way through, which had nothing to do with al dente. To make matters worse, there was a piece of porcelain in my mother's meal that had chipped off her plate. I got the piece in my mouth when I tried something from her, and I bit into it, probably swallowing small pieces. When we pointed this out to the staff while clearing the table, all they said was, "Ah, okay." No apology, no discount, nothing. That's not acceptable, and with such high prices, you can expect commensurate quality and commensurate service, which we didn't get. For these reasons, we won't be coming back.

I visited Bella Vista in Friedrichshafen for the first time today, and I'm thrilled! The pasta was incredibly delicious, as was the Aperol Spritz—really refreshing and perfectly made. The location right on Lake Constance is fantastic, with a beautiful view and very comfortable seating. The staff is super friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. One of the better places to have a meal and drink. The pastas are good taste wise, however ours wasn't cooked well. But their pizzas were one of the better ones I've had in Germany.

I'd love to give it 0 stars, but unfortunately, that's not possible here! The food itself tasted great, but we had to wait almost an hour for our food, and our appetizer was completely forgotten. What a pity! When I asked the waiter where our food was after almost 45 minutes, all he said was, "Do you know the magic words? If you say something, it'll come sooner," and he smiled. We came here for lunch and shared a pizza with a drink between the three of us. The price/performance ratio is very good; it tasted truly excellent. There's also a drinking bowl for dogs outside the restaurant. On the first floor, there's a sun terrace with a beautiful view of Lake Constance. Unfortunately, reservations aren't available, so you'll have to just drop in.

The risotto should be removed from the menu. The food arrived after 7-8 minutes. The pizzas were delicious, but you can't make a creamy risotto in that time. In other words, the salmon risotto was pre-made.

Quite a nice Italian restaurant, very good pizzas, but the salads could be improved. The leaves should be cut more bite-sized—and more attention should be paid to freshness.

A truly lovely restaurant. We were here this summer. We sat outside overlooking the lake. Everything was wonderful. The staff was friendly and took our order quickly. The food arrived very quickly and was absolutely of the highest quality. Super delicious pizza and excellent risotto. I highly recommend it for a cozy meal for two. The price-performance ratio is just right. I'd be happy to come back.

The restaurant seems to have good reviews, so we went. The selection of dishes is great, as are the portion sizes. What we definitely want to point out, however, is the not-so-great service. The waiters were confused and kept taking our orders to another table. What's also outrageous is a carafe of tap water for €8.40. We would probably go back if other restaurants weren't able to accommodate us. But ultimately, the good food isn't enough.

The lasagna I ordered was definitely not freshly prepared, wasn't heated enough, the cheese was baked on, and the crust was burnt. The price/performance ratio was enormous. The only good thing was the view of Lake Constance.

I was invited to dinner here four years ago and have always hoped to find the time to come back. This is by far the best pizza I've ever eaten. To put this in perspective, I'd like to add that I'm from the Karlsruhe area and drove three hours just to eat here. From the stunning view of the lake and the friendly staff to the good food. If you just want to unwind and end the evening with a satisfied stomach, this place is perfect. Kudos to everyone involved!

Delicious, lovely people! I highly recommend the lasagna. Of course, the price includes the excellent view. A little tip: from the restaurant upstairs, you can also get a beautiful view of Lake Constance. You can also find a table during the week, but it might be difficult on weekends.

Love this restaurant and the staff. Food is amazing, staff are friendly. We always return to this place when we visit. 7 people in our party, no reservation but the waiter found us a table upstairs. We were well looked after, they laughed with us too. Highly recommended!

Very tasty pizzas to go... Even though it was busy on a beautiful Saturday summer evening, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and after about 20 minutes, we had our three takeaway pizzas. €38 here is quite a price, but it's certainly quite reasonable these days for such a prime location with a view of the lake and the Alps. And for that, you get really large and, above all, very tasty pizzas!

A very good pizzeria. We can definitely recommend it! The lakeside ambiance is fantastic, the service is always friendly, and the pizzas are delicious. We particularly enjoyed the garlic paste. Probably the best pizzeria on the promenade in FN. The only downside is that the price is a bit above average, but that's the case with many restaurants along the promenade. It's worth a visit!

The location directly on Lake Constance is unique – from the spacious terrace, you have a magnificent view of the water, making the ambiance particularly romantic and inviting. Ideal for a sunset dinner or a relaxed lunch with friends or family. The menu offers an excellent selection of classic Italian dishes – from freshly prepared pasta to crispy pizzas with wafer-thin crusts to delicious antipasti. I particularly recommend the homemade lasagna and the "Bella Vista" pizza with arugula, Parma ham, and fresh tomatoes – the flavors are of a very high standard. The wine list also impresses with a fine selection of Italian wines. The service during my visit was attentive, friendly, and prompt. Questions about the menu were answered competently, and special requests were also accommodated without any problems. The restaurant's prices are mid-range, which is absolutely justified given the quality of the food and the stunning location. For me, Bella Vista is one of the best Italian restaurants on Lake Constance. A true must-visit for anyone who appreciates good food and Mediterranean flair!

The only thing Italian is the name. I'm sorry but a Margherita pizza full of oregano does not exist. For others it may even be a good pizza but don't give it to an Italian. 13€ for a Margherita you don't even pay in Italy. The only nice thing is the lake view

Italian restaurant. Food is of high quality. Tiramisu is recommended. This season is spargel season in Germany. We tried pizza with spargel and it was very delicious.

We were in the restaurant at the same time as a few bachelorette parties, which was really stressful due to the resulting noise level. That aside, however, I definitely recommend it in terms of food, service, and ambiance.

The pizza was a huge disappointment! The crust was light and obviously hadn't risen, which shouldn't happen with a Neapolitan pizza. The pizza could have had a bit more topping, then it would have at least been crispy. Beyond that, it was simply tasteless! A shame! The good service and the drinks somewhat made up for it.

Good selection, there is something for everyone in this price range.
