Pizzeria "La Perla" in Friedrichshafen

The food was good and inexpensive, but unfortunately cold when it arrived. The pizza had been sitting for minutes before it arrived. Paying took even longer. Even though they could see we had a whining toddler with us, they cleaned the other tables first. At some point, we got fed up and went to the counter to pay. The seating is too close together. You practically have to sit at a neighboring table to get to your seat.

The food arrives in stages. The pizza bread is only lukewarm, while the La Perla salad consists of 90% iceberg lettuce, German salami, canned tuna, and corn. The dressing takes some getting used to. The pizza bread is only lukewarm and not as described on the menu. The fish order was canceled after 20 minutes because there was none left. The pasta we ordered wasn't the best either. The waiter was unsympathetic, saying, "That's how Germans eat it!" A shame for a forgettable evening.

The waitress didn't listen at all and asked three times about the food. A drink was offered as a 4-course meal and brought as a 5-course meal. Several dishes and sauces were missing. You just get up and leave.

Very tasty pizza, great value for money... unfortunately, the wrong pizza was made once... one server for the entire restaurant was overwhelmed and could barely keep up...

The pizza is delicious, and despite the extreme stress the team was under, they took care of us with compassion and kindness. We would love to come back and look forward to it. our experience is not of La Perla is not worth much. I wanted mussels and my husband trout. We ordered that and first came my mussels, lukewarm. I believe food should be served hot and you decide the temperature yourself. I complained and the mussels came back, a little warmer but I could have continued to complain without result. The waiters who were there were so slow and lethargic that if they had slowed down they would have fallen over. My husband's trout was ok, but that you don't take a complaint seriously and look at your phone more than guests is not okay. There were 4 waiters. Yesterday we ate at CENTRALE also an Italian restaurant. There was 1 waiter and he served us all. Attentive and nice. La Perla could learn a lot.

Amazing pizza, great atmosphere, and super friendly staff. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Friedrichshafen. The homemade chili and garlic oil is also amazing. I'm a huge fan!

We've been here twice already – once to eat in and once to takeaway. The quality of the food is consistently very good. The tagliatelle with porcini mushroom sauce is particularly noteworthy – a truly intense and captivating taste experience, which we ordered again on our second visit. The gnocchi with shrimp in cream sauce and the pizza were also very tasty. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. One small disappointment on our first visit: we were accidentally charged for the wrong dishes (about €1.70 too much), but that didn't happen again the second time. Overall, a highly recommended restaurant with good food and friendly service. We'll be back!

We were looking for something for dinner and stumbled upon this pizzeria. From ordering to receiving the food, it was incredibly fast, and the pizza tasted amazing. The staff was wonderfully friendly, so I highly recommend it.

You receive a warm welcome, and the staff are great both in front of and behind the counter. As a salmon lover, I was convinced by a very courteous employee with Romanian roots to try the sea bream, and I have to say I was more than satisfied. It was then filleted excellently. Of course, I also checked out the restrooms, because, as the saying goes, "to judge the hygiene of a restaurant, always check the sanitary facilities!" Everything was, of course, satisfactory. When I returned, to my surprise, the restaurant's delicious dessert, a lemon-flavored crème brûlée, was on the table. This certainly won't be my last visit there. The only thing to complain about is probably the view. Best wishes and keep up the good work 👍🏻 After a long time, I stopped by again. I can still highly recommend this fine restaurant. The service is very friendly, the timing is perfect, and my favorite dish, grilled salmon with vegetables, was truly a dream, although there was a bit too much oil for my taste. I also got a basket of paninis (pizza rolls) as an extra, but I still tried the garlic oil that came with it and was very impressed. Furthermore, the hygiene in the restrooms is also excellent. Were here today from Munich and were looking for a nice restaurant and that was what we imagined, nice service and good food. Can only be recommended.

They are very slow. The tomato soup (starter) arrived after an hour. Our main courses arrived after an hour and a half. Tomato soup: 3/10 Spaghetti frutti di mare: 7/10

The service with the cap is awesome, beer is at the counter for minutes but is not delivered because the smoke is more important and cell phones also come first, the customer doesn't matter. Impossible !! You want to pay because it's cold, no chance, the colleague isn't interested in you until you get up and the gentleman gets excited. Pizza is great, unfortunately the rest is rubbish. No thanks, €19.00 for a pizza might be appropriate for good service, but not like that. No thanks, I don't need it.

I was particularly thrilled with the homemade pasta – it was fresh, perfectly al dente and simply heavenly! The risotto was also to die for, creamy and with an intense but not overpowering taste. The wine selection is excellent and offers something for every taste. The service was attentive, friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. You can tell that people work here with passion. An absolute recommendation! Last Saturday we were guests at La Perla with our entire soccer team - over 30 people - and what can you say: it was simply perfect! Despite the large group, everything went smoothly. The organization was impressive, the waiting time was surprisingly short, and the quality of the food was at an absolute top level. Taste, freshness and presentation – everything was right! Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service. The team was incredibly friendly, attentive and professional, which made us feel completely comfortable. A huge thank you to the entire La Perla team for this unforgettable evening. We will definitely come back and can fully recommend this restaurant!

We went there quite spontaneously for dinner with a group of more than 20 people and ordered various pizzas and pasta dishes. The service was cheerful and quick, lots of praise for the kitchen and happy faces from everyone after the meal! :-) Thanks to the La Perla team for the flexibility and the lovely evening!

We had made a reservation on time, but when we arrived we were told that no dough was available (!). Two waiters initially kept us waiting for 20 minutes. The order was taken incorrectly and we waited about another hour for our five pizzas. Frozen pizza would have been a better choice - it would have saved us almost €80 and a lot of hassle. Never again.

I had the pleasure of dining at La Perla and can only say that it was outstanding in every way. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is stylish and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. The service was impeccable from the start. The staff was attentive, friendly and knew exactly when to be present without being intrusive. Every wish was read from our lips. About the food: Each dish was a work of art in itself! The menu offers a wonderful selection of dishes that are creative and perfectly prepared. From the starters to the dessert, everything was perfectly seasoned, harmoniously balanced and freshly prepared. I would particularly like to highlight the pizzas which absolutely delighted me with their sophisticated combination of flavors and textures. The wine selection is also impressive, and the staff's recommendations were excellently matched to our menu. Value for money? Absolutely justified! Every penny was well spent for the quality of the food, the service and the ambience. Conclusion: La Perla is a place that you don't just visit once. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Terrible! First, two of us were seated at a table for two (apparently because they needed the larger tables for more people), we would have liked a little more space at a table for four because there were enough tables available in the restaurant. Shortly after us, a man came ALONE, he was allowed to sit at the table for four!! Then the drinks that were immediately forgotten were picked up and served after another “take” (!). After 40 minutes the first meal arrived (pizza was okay so far, but how can you go wrong with pizza?!). I had ordered calamari fritti only with “pizza bread”, it came - basically something like a pizza without toppings 🤷‍♀️ - and after another 20 minutes...completely dry calamari - without dip, without anything. And that for 17€!! Half of everything went back! Not even espresso or similar was offered as compensation, let alone a discount. We do not recommend this restaurant.

7/5 stars!! We were looking for a warm dinner late in the evening and no longer had high expectations. The surprise was even greater: the pizza was absolutely great, really cheap and arrived super quickly and the waiter was very nice and friendly despite the late time - at the end we even gave the espresso on the house to go so that we didn't miss the bus - it really could be better not! 😊😊

Dear visitors to Friedrichshafen, restaurants at the harbor with a view of the lake are okay, but if you want really good Italian food, then you are in the best hands here, like at Mom's. Pizza and service absolutely top. I would have loved to take everyone with me to Lipperland. Many thanks to you. It doesn't get any better. Don't expect a cool, stylish 5 star ambience, you get 5 stars for warmth and love for the food and the guest.

We give “La Perla” 4 stars. The food was very tasty. I have rarely eaten such delicious pizza as I did here. The pasta was also very tasty!! In my opinion the restaurant is a bit old School, and it's not mine!! But as I said, the food was great and the staff was great. Children were happy :) what more could you want!!

Never had such bad service in my life. Eating isn't exactly what it's supposed to be. When we arrived we had to wait 40 minutes for the waitress to take our order. The table that came next to us half an hour later was immediately picked up by the pizza maker. After 15 minutes the waitress came back and had to take the order again because she had lost the first one. So we had already been there for an hour and didn't even have anything to drink. After another 15 minutes the first drinks finally arrived. Water with gas because you didn't have still water. After another 40 minutes and after we asked where the food was, we received a very unfriendly answer from the boss that he couldn't do anything about it. Then finally the first plates arrived. The pasta with “giant shrimp” had mini shrimp. 1st and 2nd gear arrived at the same time. And a pizza was completely missing. When billing, a café wasn't even offered as an excuse. The joke was that the place was empty (3/4 tables were occupied). So from start to finish everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong. And the food isn't exactly worth mentioning either.

Were eating here. Once and never again. At first we were forgotten and no menu was brought to us. Then we were forgotten after we ordered. My husband's pizza was good. The noodles were... I've never had such bad ones. My husband says they don't smell good, and that's exactly how they tasted. My husband then lost his appetite. As compensation for the long waiting time, we were treated to two espressos.

The coordination between the kitchen and the pizza maker didn't work at all during our visit on March 28, 2024 at 6 to 8 p.m. The food came in 3 stages. On the one hand, the pizza bread came with the salad with fried turkey strips, which came first, and at the end with the other pizza, a good 20 minutes after the schnitzel, which was served second. The prices are real and we are not in a star restaurant, it doesn't really matter if everything that belongs together came together. Maybe you tell guests, e.g. B. the neighbor who let his pasta get cold while he waited what felt like half an hour for the pizza for his companion that he better not wait. Cheese sauce just doesn't taste as good cold. Now you have to be happy if shops and restaurants are still open at all. The offer is good, tastes good and once you've been there, you just have to order strategically on subsequent visits. First comes pizza, then the pasta and meat dishes. You can also simply avoid eating together; everyone eats when they come.
