A good, varied selection of food and drinks. The quantity is just right, and it tastes delicious. It's definitely worth a visit or two. I think the price is reasonable for the quality.

There were three of us at La Scala, two of whom had eaten different pasta dishes. Less than two hours later, both of us had stomach pains and diarrhea. Never again...

The food and service were excellent. One minor annoyance is that there's a lot of smoking in the terrace seating area.

And we were here again. Such delicious food. Friendly service, reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

I was at this pizzeria and paid with a card. Without me saying anything, the employee immediately pre-selected a relatively large tip. I didn't even notice it at the time. Unfortunately, I didn't bring a receipt—which was obviously to his advantage. I checked the amount at home and was surprised. This kind of behavior doesn't seem particularly transparent and leaves a bad impression. I hope this isn't common practice.

I had a delicious saltimbocca alla Romana with tagliatelle pasta. The pasta was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Unfortunately, the saltimbocca was a bit dry, and the sauce lacked flavor. Nevertheless, it was a successful dish. The atmosphere was very inviting, and the servers were very friendly.

Overall, a good restaurant. The service was fast, and the waiters made an effort to speak English. We had two pasta dishes, which were tasty and generous. The ice cream for dessert was also good, but the tiramisu was very disappointing (the whipped cream and blueberries were bland). The value for money is good. I recommend this restaurant.

The food was truly delicious, and the ambiance was lovely. I was served by Mr. Zucchero, who was very courteous and friendly. You could tell he loves his job and was simply perfect for it. You can count yourself lucky to have employees like him.

We had dinner with the family on Sunday. I had the salad with beef strips. My whole salad smelled like fish... I've been having problems with my stomach since Monday! I've never had such bad food there, unfortunately it changed for the worse after the renovation. My son had spaghetti that wasn't even cooked through and had no taste... terrible...

The restaurant is beautifully designed and offers extremely tasty food. The staff seemed a bit unfriendly, but that can be understandable if the service is a bit hectic. Overall, this is a really great restaurant.

Good Italian cuisine. Unfortunately the portions are a bit small for me. An oil with chili was also served. However, something like this should be served in a bottle with a dispenser and not in an open gravy boat.

We went to La Scala in Friedrichshafen today and had a great evening. The Penne Salmone were creamy, perfectly seasoned and with tender salmon, the Penne Arrabbiata was nice and al dente and pleasantly spicy. The service was excellent, the waiters were very nice and attentive. We didn't have to wait long and felt completely comfortable. A great Italian restaurant – we would love to come back! 5/5 stars.

Sehr geehrtes Team des Lascala, wir waren kürzlich mit unserer Familie (2 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder) bei Ihnen zum Abendessen. Leider entsprach unsere Erfahrung nicht unseren Erwartungen. Die Auswahl an Kindergerichten war sehr begrenzt, und die Portionen waren für Kinder nicht ausreichend. Zudem haben wir das Personal als nicht besonders freundlich empfunden, insbesondere im Umgang mit unseren Kindern, die scheinbar als störend empfunden wurden. Hinzu kommt, dass die Qualität des Essens nicht überzeugend war – unser Essen war kalt, und als wir dies reklamierten, wurde nicht darauf reagiert. Das hat den Eindruck leider noch weiter getrübt. Wir hätten uns eine kinderfreundlichere Atmosphäre, besseren Service und qualitativ hochwertigeres Essen gewünscht. Vielleicht könnte das Restaurant in diesen Punkten nachbessern.

So we've been there several times, the restaurant is really nice and the location is perfect, but it's more about quantity than quality. The service hardly pays any attention to you, on good days you are served the same way. The blonde waitress is great, the rest are unfriendly.

The best food, best service, everything was top!!!!!

We have been visiting the restaurant for several years and the food always tastes excellent, whether pizza or pasta etc. Orders are taken quickly and brought to the table. The employees are all very friendly. Drinks are always served chilled. Soft drinks also available in 0.5 liters (a rarity these days). You immediately feel at home when you enter the restaurant.

Unfortunately my wife and I were very disappointed today 🥲 Sure it was very crowded but we waited 1.5 hours for a salad and a pizza that was burned at the end. The salad with very little meat and hardly any sauce was just green (Apollo salad. Nevertheless, we'll try it again another time because it was always delicious.

I went to this restaurant with my partner. We had called beforehand and asked if there was room for two people. The answer was “Just come along.” When we got there, there was a slightly longer queue in front of us. As we were waiting, I could already see that everything in this restaurant had to be in a hurry, the place wasn't even cleared and someone new was already being seated. Ideally I wanted to leave, but my partner really wanted to eat here. When we got a seat after about 20 minutes, we ordered as normal. The starter came relatively quickly and after that I received my main course, unfortunately my partner didn't receive it until 10 minutes later. While we were eating we noticed a few things. The people sitting next to us on the left got the starter with the main course, but of course the people sitting next to us got upset and let the starter go back. The people sitting next to us to the right got their drinks after the food was already on the table. You had the feeling of being put under pressure because the waiter cleared the room relatively quickly and even asked whether you wanted to pay with cash or card. But the food tasted good.

Top service. Despite the high rush, they always try to find a place. Very friendly and you are always well informed about the wine selection. Gluten-free pizza is also made. Can only be recommended.

Company Christmas party Positive: Orders were taken quickly and drinks were served quickly. Good side salad with bread. Negative: Our tables (approx. 30 people) were separated from each other (guests initially sat in between), unfriendly service. Of course there is a lot going on over the Christmas period, but there is no reason to be rude and ignorant. There was a fairly large shard of glass in one cocktail. It was replaced, but no one had the courage to drink more with pleasure. The food was OK, but not really special.

After several visits and repeated complaints, unfortunately nothing has improved to date. The staff is unfriendly. Apart from the pizza, the remaining dishes cannot be recommended. However, if you take the pizza home and don't exchange a word with the staff, the restaurant is recommended and gets two stars for that.

The large, well-designed restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere for an enjoyable evening, with very well-made food and friendly service. The pizza in particular (Parma - with ruccola and parmesan) is highly recommended, but the other dishes also look very appetizing and are beautifully presented and served. We used to enjoy eating here, but since it reopened it's unfortunately no longer what it used to be. The last three visits have disappointed us. Today I had a salmon fillet, which only tasted good after I seasoned it a lot. The modified sauce on the side salad is far too greasy. The pasta didn't convince us either. I could have overlooked that if I hadn't spent the rest of Abed suffering from gastrointestinal problems. We don't know what has changed since the reopening but we really hope that it tastes like it used to. The staff is still very friendly and helpful.

A salad and cannelloni were ordered. First the positive: The salad was plentiful and served with lots of pizza bread. That was good! The service was also friendly and OK. Unfortunately, that was the positive: The salad was served with a ready-made cocktail sauce (?) and drowned the salad. The minced meat sauce in the cannelloni was bland and unseasoned and topped with a mountain of cheese. Spices? Onions? None. The Leibinger beer was positive. But there's nothing you can do about it. I can't understand all the positive reviews. I expect more from an Italian restaurant. Overall not recommended.

Last Friday we spontaneously went to dinner around 5 p.m. for the first time after the repairs and renovations. The restaurant has been redesigned to be really nice and inviting. Unfortunately, many tables were already reserved and the winter garden apparently doesn't open until 6:30 p.m. So we were asked to sit at a table for two people, which is usually not a problem. However, the tables (especially those for two people) are so close together - about 70 cm away from the next table - that we could easily hear and follow every word and conversation from the neighboring table. Theoretically, you could put all the tables together to serve even more guests - that wouldn't have made any difference to us. Unfortunately, there is no longer any privacy there while eating, which bothered us so much that we won't go there again until the attitude towards it changes.

Unfortunately, they rely heavily on finished products. It still tastes very tasty, but when I go to a restaurant, I expect the food to be homemade or the majority of it to be homemade. E.g. I ate a breaded schnitzel that wasn't breaded myself, but was bought ready-made. However, pizza is the best there is anywhere.
