If you like pizza, this is the place for you. For us the best pizza in Cologne. The stone oven with wood fire makes the perfect dough and the high-quality various toppings a pleasure. The other dishes are also very tasty. The team is always relaxed and the boss Jovan gives Peperino a personal touch and a feeling of friends among themselves.

On their own website it says that the gluten-free pizza looks exactly like a “normal” one and should taste identical, but we got one with a burnt edge and a limp dough in the middle. In addition, our starter was forgotten, but it was on the bill. Unfortunately the first and last visit, apparently you have to travel to Italy for good gluten-free pizza

Wir waren hier essen weil es hieß, es gebe glutenfreie Pizza. Nach einer knappen Stunde Wartezeit fiel dem Kellner auf, dass unsere Bestellung "verlorengegangen war". Blöd, kann aber passieren. Die dann leider ziemlich geschmacksneutrale, angeblich glutenfreie Pizza hat bei mir allerdings zu so starken Beschwerden geführt, dass ich ernsthaft anzweifle, dass sie glutenfrei war. Dazu der happige Aufpreis von 4EUR. Ich werde garantiert nicht mehr hier essen.

We ate here because they said they had gluten-free pizza. After waiting for almost an hour, the waiter noticed that our order had been "lost". Stupid, but it can happen. However, the supposedly gluten-free pizza, which was unfortunately pretty tasteless, caused me so much discomfort that I seriously doubt that it was gluten-free. Plus the hefty surcharge of 4EUR. I definitely won't eat here again.

We were here on Monday afternoon. Relatively empty, outside seating is nice and not too loud. Nice service. Pizza also available gluten-free and tasty. The chanterelle risotto was also beautifully balanced. A pleasant stay.

My first gluten-free pizza that wasn't homemade or frozen. And I have to say, it tasted really good. My partner was also happy with his “normal” pizza. It's relatively quiet/okay for the location. Of course it could be nicer, but that's just how it is in Cologne. The service that day was absolutely fine, so I can't confirm the reviews here at all. However, it wasn't really full where we were. Only the extra charges for vegan/gluten-free are really exaggerated. Yes, corn/rice flour is more expensive and you have to pay a lot of attention to it (nothing can come into contact with the dough. So you actually need a second oven, a second board, bowls, possibly a knife or whatever). But whether I put vegan cheese on it or normal cheese? If this is really justified, it definitely shouldn't be the case that regular cheese from a poor cow is soooo much cheaper.

The quantity of food was not in keeping with the price range, at least the antipasti plate. The food came almost an hour late and when my little son spilled my glass on me, we still had to pay for the second "replacement glass", which also arrived late. The pizza was ok, but never again! You can get better service elsewhere!

The Peperino is an indescribably great restaurant in the south of Cologne. With a direct view of Chlodwig Platz, it is in a prime location with a wonderful view. The food is incredibly good and of outstanding quality. If you want to enjoy a culinary short trip to Italy, this is the right place for you. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The great atmosphere is underlined by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. You can just feel good here! Gluten intolerance is also no problem; no one is left out in this insider tip. Keep it up, we'll see each other again soon!

Simply the world's best gluten-free pizza is here! Thin dough with a crispy edge from the stone oven :)! You don't notice any difference to the wheat pizza. The ambience, the service and the price are right here! The service is also child and dog friendly!

It's always very tasty and we'll definitely come back. Very nice staff, you just feel completely at home, especially in the evenings very cozy and a nice atmosphere. The gluten-free pizzas are so well made that you can't taste them any different. Everything is very appetizing and the prices are totally fine and reasonable.

The location is great and we got a table at short notice on a public holiday, but unfortunately the visit disappointed us. The atmosphere is relatively uncomfortable, the cards are folded and worn. The selection was okay, although there were only a few vegetarian options, especially among the pizzas. The pizzeria has a wood oven, but the pizzas are unfortunately not at all convincing. They were very hard and too crispy in many places. The prices were okay but not cheap either (Pizza Caprese 13€). The service was friendly but not very attentive. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it, there are better Italians in Cologne.

Load discovered through TikTok recommendations. It tasted very good, plenty of choice of dishes, service was honestly top (especially the waiter with the accent), bruschetta was okay, pizzas were wild (large and properly topped). Would definitely come again if we wanted to eat pizza in Cologne.

We were here with 6 people. The service was attentive, but not too intrusive. The food was quite good. So the bruschetta was very good, the pizza was delicious, the tiramisu was okay (I've eaten better and worse). The knives were a bit dull (from all of us), which was a bit annoying.

I'm really shocked... 4 euros for vegan cheese? And 3 euros extra for the gluten-free version? Even a whole pack of vegan cheese costs less than half of the 4 euros. I find it really outrageous to punish idealism with such prices. I would never eat here.

Card payment only from 50 euros means specifically: I'm supposed to spend money there, but they're not even willing to pay even 10 cents for the card payment, even though they have a device. Instead, I should go to the GA regularly and pay x euros in fees there. They probably even expect a tip for such an impudence... My understanding of this sort of thing is exactly zero.

We were there for dinner several times. The food is delicious. The service was friendly. But: The sanitary facilities were unfortunately a disaster last time. It stank there and unfortunately made a very unkempt impression. That spoiled the overall very decent overall impression. Another quick note to all card payers: I was told that this is only possible from 50 (!) euros. It wasn't like that before and is no longer up to date.

+++Do not order +++ We ordered two gluten free pizzas. We understand that there is additional effort involved, but almost €36 for two pizzas is quite steep. But the worst thing was that the pizza we ordered arrived ice cold and was now stuck to the bottom of the box. Accordingly, our satisfaction was... cold, cardboard-sticking pizza for far too much money! It's a real shame, as it's not that far from the southern part of town to the district.

We waited 1 hour for the food, even though there wasn't that much going on, so the work processes don't seem to be optimal yet. But we were compensated with a gluten-free pizza on the house and the gluten-free pizzas in the restaurant were very good with exceptional toppings! The staff is also very friendly and charming!

Die Pizza war einigermaßen akzeptabel, aber ich bestellte extra Ziegenkäse, der auf der Rechnung berechnet wurde, aber nicht in der Pizza enthalten war. Tee ohne Honig, Zucker oder sogar ein Stück Keks, nur Wasser und ein Teebeutel. Der Kellner war nicht freundlich und wir haben lange gewartet.

We were sightseeing Köln and found the restorant based on recommendations from google maps. Here we have tried out the best pizza so far in Germany. The pizza chef Bobi makes magic with his hands preparing the pizza's. The pizza is large, but after you eat it all, you don't feel like you will explode. Many compliments to Bobi and the friendly staff that served us. For sure on our next visit to Köln we will visit the restaurant once more.

Schade, aber das war leider so gar nichts! Haben uns wirklich gefragt woher die guten Bewertungen kommen… Von den Getränken bis zum Essen war leider nichts wirklich gutes dabei… Aperol Spritz war wässrig, weil mit dem Aperol rumgegeizt wurde, trotzdem ist der Preis hoch wie in Highend Bars.

'What do you recommend?' 'we recommend everything' 'err, really?' Maybe staff need some training as it isn't a small menu. Then massive wait for quite a basic starter (but no suggestion that the wait would be so long in a quiet restaurant). All in all just slow, poor service, who knows about the food. Feels like being in France. Having tried the non pizza food I'd say if you come here just stick to pizza. At least they look decent.

Viel To-Go, nicht immer ruhig, aber an und für sich alles ok. Servicekräfte eher studentisch als professionell....und eine Spezialitätenkarte Pfifferlinge rauszugeben, ohne überhaupt Pfifferlinge zu haben... Ungewöhnlich.

Kann die positiven Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen. Entweder schreibt das der Chef selbst, oder ich weiß auch nicht. War heute das erste mal dort und mir die Pizza „Pera“ geholt. Als ich das Karton aufmachte war ich schockiert, wie lieblos die Pizza aussah. Auf der Karte stand „Walnüsse“, also wenn das mehr als eine Walnuss auf der Pizza ist, fress ich ein Besen. Zu guter letzt hatte ich auch noch ein Haar in meiner Pizza und das alles für satte 13,90€. Einmal und nie wieder!
