The waiter is incredibly unfriendly. Absolutely not! Never go there again.

The food didn't arrive after 40 minutes. When we asked, we were told we'd have to wait another 15-20 minutes, a total of 1 hour. Then the food arrived more than 5 minutes late. We asked for help and were told, "It's not my fault, it's the kitchen." You can't blame the team!

Great restaurant. Nice staff and good food for a nice price. It is located in a nice neighborhood with many restaurants. There was a small mistake made during the payment (because we both weren't paying attention) but when I went back it was resolved very well. I would definitely recommend this if you fancy some Italian food with a nice beer

I've been to this restaurant several times and would go back again and again. The quality of the food and the service are outstanding. You really feel like you're in Italy. 🇮🇹 Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Value for money: We paid just under €58 for 6 drinks and 4 pizzas, and we can't complain! We can recommend it to everyone.

I saw by chance that Mondays and Wednesdays are pizza days (each pizza + soft drink €11.90), so I spontaneously decided on a Rustica. It was really well-topped with ham, arugula, and Parmesan cheese on a great crust.

I recently visited Peperino Cucina Tradizionale in Cologne and was absolutely thrilled. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you sense the cozy and stylish ambiance, which immediately puts you at ease. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring you feel completely at home. You can tell that genuine hospitality is the norm here. The Peperino also impresses with its culinary offerings: The dishes are freshly prepared, authentic, and full of flavor – simply a delight! I was particularly impressed by the loving presentation of the food. All in all, a wonderful evening in a relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend the restaurant.

Delicious pizza, but there was a bluebottle (!!) in my sauce, and the waitress simply said, "It's just the time of year." There was no discount, no apology, no compensation – instead, she simply pocketed the remaining change as a tip. Disgraceful and unhygienic!

A very informal restaurant with excellent service. Highly recommended, especially for allergy sufferers – the gluten-free pizza with its own dough is fantastic and tastes like "real" pizza. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. Definitely a clear recommendation!

The food was really really good and I'm very familiar with Italian citchen. The Pizza also looked amazing and the Bruschetta was like a little Pizza! Just good everything and the prices also very fair and a little bit cheaper than other stores. Only the atmosphere could be a bit more cozy but with the prices and quality of the food it's overall a4-5 😍

Gluten-free pizza at Peperino is simply delicious (and also celiac-friendly, with an awareness of contamination in a mixed kitchen). The service is always friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere of the shop is also appealing, combining a restaurant with a rustic and friendly pub feel. The outdoor terrace invites you to watch the city life strolling by while enjoying good food or to end the evening with a nice drink. Excellent and we'd love to come back!

Pizza was ordered online for a specific time. The pizza was delivered an hour later, cold, and without any additional ingredients ordered, for a pizza that isn't particularly cheap. Parma ham costs €4.50 and arugula costs €2. On the phone, they referred us to Wolt's customer service, but they weren't able to explain the situation. Additional work and conflict for the customer with customer service. Very far from customer-oriented service. They won't order a second time.

Delivery was delayed by an hour, despite specifying a preferred time. Expensive additional ingredients were paid for in advance, but not on the expensive pizza. (Ham +4.50€) Very loud phone call, uncooperative, unfriendly, and no refund.

If you like pizza, this is the place for you. For us the best pizza in Cologne. The stone oven with wood fire makes the perfect dough and the high-quality various toppings a pleasure. The other dishes are also very tasty. The team is always relaxed and the boss Jovan gives Peperino a personal touch and a feeling of friends among themselves.

We booked the restaurant specifically because they offer gluten-free options. We were assured on the phone beforehand that there were no concerns about contamination as everything was handled separately. But when we got there, we were in for a huge disappointment: the gluten-free pizza was next to the "regular" pizzas, with flour flying everywhere. We also touched the pizza with gluten and then the gluten-free one. In general, the service was not customer-oriented. Mozzarella was left out of the pizza even though the menu states that it contains mozzarella. The website also stated that you can pay by card for orders over €50. When we got there, we were told that you couldn't pay by card at all as there was no debit card machine, which was really annoying.

We ordered a pizza to take away. Waited 40 minutes. When we asked if it would take a long time, we were told to leave if we didn't feel comfortable waiting any longer. There wasn't much going on that evening...

I was there with friends last night. I would particularly like to praise the service. Eda is super friendly. The quality of the pizzas is excellent, especially when it comes to gluten-free pizza. On their own website it says that the gluten-free pizza looks exactly like a “normal” one and should taste identical, but we got one with a burnt edge and a limp dough in the middle. In addition, our starter was forgotten, but it was on the bill. Unfortunately the first and last visit, apparently you have to travel to Italy for good gluten-free pizza

We ate here because they said they had gluten-free pizza. After waiting for almost an hour, the waiter noticed that our order had been "lost". Stupid, but it can happen. However, the supposedly gluten-free pizza, which was unfortunately pretty tasteless, caused me so much discomfort that I seriously doubt that it was gluten-free. Plus the hefty surcharge of 4EUR. I definitely won't eat here again.

We were here on Monday afternoon. Relatively empty, outside seating is nice and not too loud. Nice service. Pizza also available gluten-free and tasty. The chanterelle risotto was also beautifully balanced. A pleasant stay.

My first gluten-free pizza that wasn't homemade or frozen. And I have to say, it tasted really good. My partner was also happy with his “normal” pizza. It's relatively quiet/okay for the location. Of course it could be nicer, but that's just how it is in Cologne. The service that day was absolutely fine, so I can't confirm the reviews here at all. However, it wasn't really full where we were. Only the extra charges for vegan/gluten-free are really exaggerated. Yes, corn/rice flour is more expensive and you have to pay a lot of attention to it (nothing can come into contact with the dough. So you actually need a second oven, a second board, bowls, possibly a knife or whatever). But whether I put vegan cheese on it or normal cheese? If this is really justified, it definitely shouldn't be the case that regular cheese from a poor cow is soooo much cheaper.

The quantity of food was not in keeping with the price range, at least the antipasti plate. The food came almost an hour late and when my little son spilled my glass on me, we still had to pay for the second "replacement glass", which also arrived late. The pizza was ok, but never again! You can get better service elsewhere!

The Peperino is an indescribably great restaurant in the south of Cologne. With a direct view of Chlodwig Platz, it is in a prime location with a wonderful view. The food is incredibly good and of outstanding quality. If you want to enjoy a culinary short trip to Italy, this is the right place for you. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The great atmosphere is underlined by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. You can just feel good here! Gluten intolerance is also no problem; no one is left out in this insider tip. Keep it up, we'll see each other again soon!

The location is great and we got a table at short notice on a public holiday, but unfortunately the visit disappointed us. The atmosphere is relatively uncomfortable, the cards are folded and worn. The selection was okay, although there were only a few vegetarian options, especially among the pizzas. The pizzeria has a wood oven, but the pizzas are unfortunately not at all convincing. They were very hard and too crispy in many places. The prices were okay but not cheap either (Pizza Caprese 13€). The service was friendly but not very attentive. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it, there are better Italians in Cologne.

We were here with 6 people. The service was attentive, but not too intrusive. The food was quite good. So the bruschetta was very good, the pizza was delicious, the tiramisu was okay (I've eaten better and worse). The knives were a bit dull (from all of us), which was a bit annoying.

Card payment only from 50 euros means specifically: I'm supposed to spend money there, but they're not even willing to pay even 10 cents for the card payment, even though they have a device. Instead, I should go to the GA regularly and pay x euros in fees there. They probably even expect a tip for such an impudence... My understanding of this sort of thing is exactly zero.
