Zucchini in Köln

I came in here with high expectations but ended up being disappointed. It started greatly, as the antipasti offered by the house were simply amazing. However, my pizza was incredibly thin and bland, flavorless. Honestly, it looked better in the other Pictures on Google maps. Luckily, the scampi were very good, especially the sauce, but we expected them to serve them ready to eat, and not with the shell. Lastly, I ordered a Cannolo Siciliano, but received a crepes with ice cream, which is far from what a Cannolo Is. The waiter also did not contribute to make our experience any better.

The food was delicious. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed it. See you next time.

The number of stars for service isn't enough. The table on the terrace was cleaned promptly. It was then lovingly decorated, and I received very friendly service, asking several times if everything was okay. My pizza was delicious, as was the Aperol. Top-notch restaurant!

We've been coming to Zucchini for over 30 years. It's close to us. The food is delicious, the prices are fair, and the service is friendly. What more could you want? The decor and ambiance have remained pretty much the same over the years—beautiful dark wood furniture, mirrors, and, of course, a touch of kitsch. The last meal for my birthday two weeks ago was also good—although the Dama Biancha needs some attention—we've rarely seen such a brown mess... Sorry.

This was our first time at Zucchini Pizzeria and we were thrilled! For starters, we had the Antipasto Misto (mixed vegetarian appetizer plate) – beautifully presented and delicious. For main courses, we chose the Rigatoni alla Coccodé with broccoli, chicken, and curry cream sauce – perfectly seasoned and topped with cheese, a real treat. My wife had the macaroni with tomato cream sauce, ham, and leaf spinach – also very tasty and creamy. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive. The location exudes Italian charm – cozy, inviting, and with beautiful details. The restrooms were also clean and well-maintained, which is always a good sign for us. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and will definitely be back. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy Italian food in a pleasant atmosphere!

Ordered via Uber Eats, antipasti mista consisted only of vegetables that were completely softened and 1x caprese for €12.60? Tortellini alla Panna tasted like the frozen version from a cheap supermarket brand - old and musty. Rigatoni with curry cream sauce was so overly seasoned it was like eating spoonfuls of curry powder. Absolute disaster for over €40. Pizza rolls with herb butter were good and the food was delivered quickly, therefore 1 star.

Absolutely recommended. From my point of view, it wasn't always that way from 2021 to 2023. The only waitress for all tables has the place under control and tries very hard. This should be reflected in the tip 😘

Pizza prosciutto and risotto was very good, risotto a bit on the salty side but otherwise delicious Tartuffo dessert also recommended.

Unfortunately, the scampi was very dry and therefore difficult to peel. Also super greasy and tasteless. The salad that came with it was very, very little. For the price I'm used to much better. The service was stressed and not flexible. I won't go here anymore.

The Telles starter was only okay and in my opinion too little for €12, but the vegetarian lasagna was incredibly good. It was worth it for that alone. The ambience was also nice and the service was nice.

We recently had dinner here with 4 adults and 3 children. The children had simple food and the adults had a main course, each with something different. Nevertheless, almost everything was on the table at the same time and really hot. Everyone was happy. Every wish was made possible by the service. A great restaurant!

A gem in this hectic world, quiet, quiet Italian music and far away from stress. Unfortunately I was only in Cologne for one evening, otherwise I would be here much more often and would be able to enjoy the fantastic food, the very courteous service and the wonderful atmosphere. I can only recommend the zucchini to every connoisseur.

We actually really like Pizzeria Zucchini. We also really enjoy going there and eating there. The people there are very friendly and the food is always delicious. However, there is a star deduction because you really can't order pizza at all on Sunday evenings. Somehow they have a strange system where too many orders come in at once. Sometimes orders are forgotten and you have to wait a long time on site and/or the quality of the pizzas is no longer as usual (pizzas are then simply very dry). My recommendation would be not to offer Lieferando service on Sundays, but only accept orders over the phone and on site from the people sitting in the restaurant itself. If there are too many inquiries via telephone, you can still say. Sorry but it's not working right now, call back in an hour. But it really doesn't make any sense at all.

We had a lovely evening for the four of us, the food was okay, pizza, tagliatelle and other things, but the music was far too loud and inappropriate, and the dishes were rattling out of the kitchen!! Unfortunately, the waiter was very unmotivated, which was a shame for us I have eaten there many times and have always been satisfied.

Such a shame! An Italian restaurant right on your doorstep and then you sit there for over half an hour and your drink order isn't even taken. The waitress coldly ignored us, it was a shame that we had to leave. The store wasn't even full.

Good pizzeria, unfortunately the opening times are not that good. On Saturday, for example, it is only open from 6 p.m. That's a shame, because otherwise a lot more people would probably eat there beforehand.

The lunch menu has every pizza or pasta for €8, and what I think is very good, drinks are also reasonably cheap at lunchtime, €1.50 for 0.2 liters is still humane for a restaurant. In the evening there are three pizzas for the price of two instead. As a single guest, I received two free pizza rolls from the friendly waitress when eating on site, as well as three free dips: hot chili or something like that, decent herb butter and an oil with herbs in it. The dips were enough to dip the pizza edges into after the rolls, at least for me as a single guest. Excellent as a free gift! I had pizza Quattro Formaggi. It wasn't on the menu, but I got it anyway. In general, you should revise the menu, it annoys vegetarians like me that you can't tell at first glance what is vegetarian or vegan. The pizza itself was good, but I know another pizzeria here in Cologne Mülheim that puts a lot of oregano on the Quattro Formaggi and then puts parmesan slivers/slices on it after baking, both of which are very delicious. In comparison, the pizza here at the Zucchini Restaurant seems a bit bland, but that's definitely complaining at a high level! And I haven't tried the other things. Service, atmosphere, prices, all five stars, at least the prices on offer, but as a customer spoiled by an absolutely excellent pizza somewhere else that also costs three euros more, I couldn't warm up to the pizza here 100%. But I can only speak for the Quattro Formaggi. My tip: Go there when the offer is on and try your favorite food. The chances are good that the price/performance ratio and everything else around it will convince you. And as I said, I can only judge the taste of the Quattro Formaggi pizza, despite very tough competition.

Maximal 2,5 Sterne. Aber auch nur wegen der schönen Einrichtung. Service grausam. Der Kellner wirkt ständig genervt. Das Essen schmeckt nach nichts. Die Nudeln sind meiner Meinung nach nicht frisch. Die Lasagne schmeckt fade. Absolut gar nicht zu empfehlen!

Wir waren heute, nach telefonischer Reservierung, mit Hund im Zuccini. Sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung. Echte Italiener, die noch wissen was Service ist. Vorspeise, Hauptgericht, Getränke und Service zur vollsten Zufriedenheit. Wir hatten eine lange Anfahrt, aber es hat sich gelohnt. A presto

Leider sind die Gerichte etwas "altbacken". Die Salate sind 08/15, leider nichts "modernes" dabei. Genauso bei den Pizzen. Ein bisschen in den 80er Jahren stehen geblieben, so scheint es. Mein gegrillter Tintenfisch war ganz lecker, allerdings doch sehr ölig. Der Service war richtig gut, schnell und äußerst freundlich. Das Ambiente ist durch die Fliesen für meinen Geschmack nicht so gemütlich.

Ein Restaurant ohne viel Schnickschnack. Auf dem Teller zeigt sich die wahre Klasse. Wir sind schon häufiger dort gewesen und werden garantiert wieder öfter vorbeischauen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die überbackene Zabajone als Desert!

I love eating here! The place has a real authentic Italian food feel, no frills. They give you amazing pasta, amazing choice of appetizers... Service is quick and great! And the place is nearby which gives it additional point. Price to value is really good and no need to reserve, we come usually on Sunday night and there's always place inside.

Nette Atmosphäre, leckeres Essen und schneller Service. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist okay. Für den Preis könnten die Portionen etwas größer sein. Für ein nettes Abendessen in schöner Atmosphäre würden wir dennoch wieder hingehen!

Da ich nicht mehr soviel Hunger habe, zuerst nach einem Seniorenteller gefragt (sonst hätte ich es mitgenommen). Den gab es. Der "Gruß aus der Küche" mit 2 Pizzabrötchen kam ebenso wie das Getränk sehr schnell. Schön eingedeckte Tische, nur draußen war es wenig einladend, deshalb 1 Stern Abzug. Der Senioren-/Kinderteller meiner Spaghetti Carbonara war völlig ausreichend, so daß ich noch Platz für ein Dessert hatte, was ich schon lange probierenwollte: Zabaione mit Vanilleeis im Ofen überbacken. Alles sehr lecker. Der Service hätte etwas freundlicher sein können, aber die Gastronomie hat es im Moment echt schwer. Bisher haben die Öffnungszeiten nicht so gut zu meinem Tagesabläufen gepasst, trotzdem werde ich da gerne noch einmal wieder hin gehen. Sonntagmittag ist es auch draußen gar nicht so laut.

Unsere Pizzen Parma und Brokkoli waren nicht gut. Der Parma Schinken war überhaupt nicht mehr roh sondern gekocht. Leider habe ich extra Mozzarella teuer gezahlt. Der war sehr wenig belegt und hatte keinen anderen Käse mehr drauf. Habe angerufen und wurde abgewimmelt „der Kollege sei auf Toilette ich solle später anrufen“. Sehr schlechter Service! Nicht zu empfehlen!!

Mein 1ter Besuch, leckeres Essen und netter, freundlicher Service. Es passt ganz einfach.

mitten drin in Mühlheim, enge Straßen, kaum oder keine Parkplätze, wenn man von außerhalb kommt. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel kann es umständlich und lang dauern. Und wenn man einen findet.... Pro 15 min. 50 Cent Parkgebühr bis 22/23 Uhr. Reinster Wucher. Das Restaurant ist direkt an einer gut befahrenen Straße, daher draussen sitzen nicht so angenehm. Essen und Service dagegen sehr gut. Aber für mich kein weiteren Besuch wert, da der Aufwand zu groß/ umständlich ist.
