We had to wait a bit for our food (45 minutes) even though it wasn't that busy. But the wait was worth it. It is definitely positive to mention that when we ordered we were asked what level of spiciness we wanted. The food was very tasty and the drinks were served quickly, so the wait didn't seem too long. Special mention must be made of the service. Friendly, nice and focused on the guest. It doesn't get much better than this 🙂. The only reason we get 4 stars for the ambience is because you can still see the charm of the clubhouse in the toilets. However, they were clean and in perfect condition. And you have to complain about something 😉😂. Go and make up your own mind. If you like Indian cuisine, you shouldn't be disappointed.✌️

The food came quickly, the service was attentive. Everything was seasoned in a variety of ways. The price-performance ratio is right. We'd love to come back!

Owner and service really very friendly. You can sit very nicely both inside and outside. The food is particularly delicious!

Good Indian food, good portions, parking in front of the house, friendly service, prices for the food OK, BUT 6.10€(!!) for a wheat beer is too expensive!!!

Mangal linden is permanently closed

We ate at the Taj Mahal for the first time based on a recommendation. It was very, very tasty 😋. We were served in a friendly and courteous manner, but not intrusively. When we come back to Alfeld, the Taj Mahal will be “our restaurant” where we stop off 😊

Sehr leckere indische Küche zu fairen Preisen. Location ist gemütlich. Service könnte n Tick mehr machen - aber freundlich waren alle. Kommen gerne wieder als Familie.

Even though Tuesday is a closed day, we ate quite well there on Tuesday :) Not really stylish furnishings, but very friendly service and delicious food ("medium hot" is rather very little spicy, is asked when ordering, nobody knows that in advance with Indians...) Bread is definitely tasty and excitingly served.
