Absolutely delicious! We love coming here. The food is fresh, the service is very friendly, and you definitely won't go hungry. The chicken is incredibly tender, with no gristle or red spots. Simply delicious!

I still need to get used to the taste. Everyone at my table was enthusiastic about the food. However, the flavors aren't familiar enough for me to say for sure that it's delicious. The server was very friendly and helped me choose the more traditional dishes.

It was my first time there, as I was visiting the town of Hameln. I went at lunchtime and ordered curried vegetables with chicken. I received a very large portion and was amazed by the amount of meat. I've had much smaller portions in other restaurants. I really enjoyed the food and it was quite filling. I found the bread with air very interesting and delicious. The plate with bread cost €11.90. The large Coke with ice and lemon, which was probably half a liter, was €4.50. As someone mentioned, I'm overweight and didn't find the chairs uncomfortable or cramped. I'd like to visit Bad Pyrmont again in the summer with my mother, and we'll definitely stop by again. :) The building, which is certainly historic, looks very cozy. The restrooms were clean and tidy. The staff was courteous and friendly. And I really enjoyed the food. I always describe it as "like a poem" because I love Indian/Asian food with curry.

Great atmosphere, but orders were delivered incorrectly several times, and ingredients were missing from the menu. It was much better in the beginning. Card payments are accepted, but quite discouraged.

Was there for the first time today. The atmosphere was very nice, the chairs a bit uncomfortable and everything was very cramped. Ordering was quick and the food came quickly. The soup was unfortunately very thin and tasted okay but nothing more. The main course was nothing special, we expected more and the taste was unfortunately not authentic, you couldn't taste any spices, saffron etc., just like the nane and the bread, no spices, not even salt. Our conclusion: once is enough, unfortunately this is not a place you would want to go to regularly if the taste was great. Nothing special. Unfortunately there is still a lot of room for improvement. We have now tried both Indian restaurants in Hameln and have to say that the location and ambience are slightly better at the India Haus, but in terms of taste it can't keep up with the small and inconspicuous Indian restaurants on the side street. If you like authentic Indian cuisine, the India Haus is not the right place for you.

We've been to India Haus several times and have experienced super friendly service. The food never takes long to arrive, and it tastes absolutely delicious. My companion's second Coke didn't arrive until the waiter asked again after a while if it had arrived yet, but it wasn't added to the bill. So, we were very satisfied, as always! 😊

I'm simply blown away by IndiaHaus. The food is indescribably delicious and prepared and presented in an authentic Indian style. The waiters are very knowledgeable about food intolerances and were able to tell me what I can and shouldn't eat. 90% of all dishes are gluten-free, making it a paradise for anyone with intolerances.

First visit: Very friendly staff, very tasty food, rice and bread were always delivered without any problems. One main course was delivered late, but was promptly served upon reminder and with apologies. Special requests were accommodated. Approximately €40 per person including dessert, starter, and two drinks. Second visit: Lunch for just under €20. Very tasty. Unfortunately, the tablecloth was already dirty in several places, and card payments weren't accepted.

The curry tasted good, but that was it. Despite having a reservation, we had a very poor seat right in the entrance area and had to squeeze onto a small bench at a large round table. No pappadums beforehand. Not enough rice. In the end, they only reluctantly accepted card payments. It could all be better.

As an Indian, I can say this is good food, but not very good! The food is too sweet. German customers won't notice that. As a Punjabi, however, I can. The selection is very good. Prices are OK!

It was our first time at IndiaHaus and we were very impressed, so we will definitely stop by this great restaurant often. Here you get really authentic traditional food from India. The service was very friendly, accommodating and took the time to show us the menu and give us advice. We have very rarely experienced such great service. In my opinion there is no other shop in Hameln where you are treated like this. The drinks came quite quickly after we placed the order. The food didn't take long either, was extremely fresh and very, very hot when it arrived at our table. Prices are also totally fair. All in all absolutely recommended. This restaurant actually deserves much more than 5 stars for their effort. We'd love to come back.

We always enjoyed this, even in large groups. And the food is definitely spicy, but it tastes like spices and not like MSG.

Centrally located Indian who lives primarily from passing tourist customers, And unfortunately you notice that. The service employee hands you the plates without comment (you can cover yourself, he probably never learned otherwise). Then rarely drank such a watery lassi, almost tasteless. The same applies to the two main courses, bland and carelessly made. The raita (yoghurt) was totally over-sweetened. I know a lot of Indian restaurants in Germany, but this one is clearly one of the worst.

Table for two had been pre-booked the day before, when we arrived it wasn't noted. The slightly annoyed waitress just pointed to a table in the corner. After 5 minutes we got the cards. After another 10 minutes someone came to order. The food would just be put in front of us. Not a friendly word about this came from the waiter's lips. I had butter chicken, my husband had the Jhal Ferczi. My butter chicken was barely seasoned and the meat was dry. Jhal Ferczi wasn't even remotely hot as the card said. We have tried many Indian restaurants and this is the worst we have ever eaten. It's a shame because we heard from many people that it was so delicious there.

You can have excellent food here. Indian cuisine is a bit Europeanized, not quite as spicy but still spicy and tasty. There is something to suit every taste. You can definitely follow the staff's recommendation. Even our vegetarians were more than satisfied. Price/performance match 100%. We can really recommend the India Haus with a clear conscience. Another visit is already planned.

I actually expected something different. The external appearance of the location is great, and inside there are also great and beautiful spots relating to Hamelin's history. But I don't think it goes with Indian food at all, and there's hardly any Indian decoration either. Big drawback on my part, it was so incredibly loud that you couldn't understand your own words. You should definitely reserve in advance, we got an “emergency spot”. The food took a long time to arrive, it took 45-50 minutes from placing the order until the food was on the table. It was tasty, but we probably won't come back again.

We've always eaten here in the evening and it's always been great. Now we also tested the lunch menu and it was really tasty. The dishes are served in small bowls in the evening and everything is served on your plate at lunchtime. It's a very large portion for a very good price. I can only recommend everyone to eat here. Regardless of whether it is a vegetarian or meat dish, everything is deliciously prepared and seasoned. The service is very nice and attentive.

We ate three daily menus and the food was incredible. Very generous amounts and the price was very nice too. The lassi drinks were also top. Service quality was also incredible and the owner was very kind. They could speak also spanish and of course english and german. Can definetely recommend it!
